A little red cub had wandered away from her family for a while, venturing out into the open to explore. There were so many gorgeous things around: a colorful flower here, an oddly shaped stick there, a glint of semi-precious metals peeking out from the side of a pile of stones. They all mesmerised her, and she would go over to touch them with her paws or feel them with her whiskers. She wished she knew a way to be able to bring them all together; she wanted to create something beautiful from these. She wanted to mimic their shapes with the grass or pile them together in an attractive way. She had once stared at a cobweb for hours, copying its intricate patterns by weaving grass together. Simply to make things out of things that already exist was a facinating idea to her.
Thus she had wandered away to be a peace and contemplate these ideas. However, she was only a cub and didn't quite know what to do. She didn't have much of a plan; she just knew there were pretty things out that were just waiting to be melded together into new creations.

Great paws hit the earth with a gentle thump, three in sucession with a fourth, sharper sort of clank at the end. If one was close enough to hear it, there was also a gentle swish of air through feathers and a tinkle of jewlery as it moved against a body.
Sounds like this, while unusual and rare, where actually quite common place for the creature that made them. Sanaa was never silent, even when she was doing nothing more than walking, her accumulation of ornaments and items assuring that her position was never a secret.
And what was the Goddess of Crafting doing out walking on a night like this? It wasn't exactly something the goddess tended to do, but tonight it was a necessity. With nothing else to do, Sanaa wandered while the the hot metal in the molds back at her cavern cooled and set. With nothing to do, but wait, she chose to get out and get a little fresh air.
"Not that I truly need to breathe..." She murmured to herself.

Bele also padded through the grasses, but she was much quieter. There was the tinkle of some other sound in the air, but the little red cub couldn't quite place it. It was unfamiliar and yet familiar, strange and new. She wasn't bothered by it much at first; she was too far from her family for them to be about, and other big predators and threats didn't frequent this area.
But it was indeed frighteninly different, so she subconciously crept a little lower below the tops of the grass. There was a sudden, new smell, one that she didn't recognise. It was lion, she could tell, but different and strong. Worried that it might be a rouge from other lands, she wormed her way onto the side of a rock. This wasn't so much for hiding reasons, but she wanted to see who it was.
An unearthly light glowed from a golden body, and three pairs of massive wings waved above it. It was a huge figure, like something from a dream, and it glinted all over with small colors that Bele couldn't even name. The tinkling sound was louder now, and she knew it came from this beast. Completely shocked, and thinking she was living in another dream, she emitted a tiny squeak before ducking her head.

The glint of something among the rocks nearby drew the goddess's attention, her path swirving towards them for a closer inspection. Metal was precious in her line of work and one could never have enough raw material. Disappointment rose in her though, eliciting a low growl, when the glint turned out to be nothing but fool's gold, a substance that mimicked gold, but lacked the properties of it. So much for that.
The nearby squeak took Sanaa rather by suprised and she lifted her head as she blinked slowly. She had no fear of anything attacking her, for obvious physical reasons, but it was unexpected. Was there another creature here?
"Hello?" She called out softly as she cloaked her wings and fake limb in illusion, becoming nothing more than a festively adorned lioness with a curious expression. "Is there someone there?"

Bele started to panic when she heard a voice, afraid that the creature was going to do something to her. She curled into a loose ball on the opposite side of the rock and tried to reason with herself. You're just seeing things again, she said, rubbing her eyes with her paws. It's just another lion, that's all. She continued like this for only a little while before plucking up the courage to face the voice.
The red cub padded around the rock towards the voice cautiously, but visibly relaxed when she saw it was just a normal lionness. See, nothing's wrong. Well, normal in most respects. She was rather large and covered all over in shiny bits and pieces, artfully crafted. Bele was instantly jealous of the trinkets. They all looked so perfect, and the best Bele had ever done was a flower necklace. She had never seen the glinting metals before, and was in slight awe at the sight of them.
But she mumbled a "hello" shyly at the lionness. "I thought you were... a monster," she admitted, embarrassed at her foolishness.

Sanaa huffed with laughter as she smiled down at the girl-cub, the necklaces she wore jingling as she lowered her head for a better view.
"Some might call me a monster, little one." She said as she looked over the red pelt curiously. "Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is really up to the individual." Had the little mortal seen her in her goddess form? It didn't really matter to her, but the lingering traces of fear she could see probably ment that appearing in this more subdued version had been the right choice. Her full glory might have been a little too much for her.
"What are you doing way out here, child? Shouldn't you be with your parents?" She didn't remember flying over any lion families on the way here... was the little one lost? She shouldn't really care, but... well, her work could wait a while longer and it might be a good idea to stockpile up some good karma by helping the cub out.

"My family's back there somewhere," Bele answered, waving her tail vaguely behind her. "But I need a break," she continued, thinking of Toshiro and the general huge-ness of her family. There was always so much going on, and yet nothing to do. At least, nothing Bele would be interested in. Her favorite brother was always too busy making silly music. Just like I always make pointless stuff, she thought, furrowing her brow as she admitted this fact to herself.
But that reminded her of this golden lionness's accessories. So Bele asked, like any curious cub, "Where did you get those?" She looked directly at the necklaces, especially the pouch. What could possibly be in there? she wondered.

Sanaa chuckled softly as her rounded ears gently swiveld, an amused expression on her face.
"I think I understanding needing a break from your family, though I don't have one so I guess I don't really know." She smiled as she said it, her intense green eyes calm for once. "At least you're not lost, which is a very good thing. Lost cubs are actually a very sad thing."
The attention to her necklaces drew her attention and pleasure immediently. The little girl had good taste, to comment on them. Nothing made Sanaa happier, or more proud, than appreciation of her lovely items. "Oh, these? I made these. I made everything I'm wearing." She said, lowering herself to her stomach to give the cub a better view of her lovelies. She even moved them up with her paw, spreading them out to show each one individually. The Pounch hung heavy against her chest, a plain leather bag with doodles in bright paint.
