The deep sky blue lioness prowled across the lands near the Pridelands, twitching her tail irritably. Her fur was standing on end, the tuft of her tail bushed out like a frightened kitty. But she was far from being scared. She was annoyed. Her last run in with a male did not end very well, or at leas the way she had hoped.
How she wanted to just claw into him, but her other half wouldn't have allowed her to mar that two-faced lion. She would find him again and give him a piece of her mind! She might not be able to see through these light teal eyes, but she could still use her nose.
She moved back the way she had come, half-tempted to do just that. Inside her other half was telling her how foolish this was and that she should calm down before she should do anything rash. She growled low, pacing back and forth, feeling the tall grass brush against her white underbelly. She need to release this boiling anger and do it soon.

-The twins had been traveling for a little while now, their bodies seeming to spring up with size everyday that they moved, as their inexperienced looped them away from and towards the pridelands in search of their parents. Time and excersize had done the two well as already their youngly adolscent bodies towered over most, making them almost apear to be adults, were it not for that sprig of mane, and those boyish actions that spoke volumes.
They were inexperienced, but certainly not incapable of taking care of each other. And today Ahai had tredded away from Matsai for awhile, prowling the land around him for something to snack on, before the two set off again.
Padding through the grasses with little care about being quiet or sly, he sniffed at the air softly. Surely something was around that he could sink his teeth into?-

Uma was too drawn into her own world to really notice that her space had been invaded. She was caught up in a verbal battle between herself. "Just let me go over there and make sure he'll never breed again." Her face was contorted into a sneer, full of anger and with a calculating gleam about her features before it smoothed out to appear young and carefree, "You do that and you'll have the whole pride down on our heads in a heart beat."
She stalked back away from the looming formation. She stood still, unsheathing her claws in front of her with the pads up. She curled her paw before her like she was crushing something, "You should have let him escort you. Or you should have let me talk more." She wasn't really angry at that lion, she was more angry with herself. But it was more satisfying to tear into someone else instead of yourself. She needed to keep her weaker self if they were to get anywhere better than the rouge lands.

-Despite his own noise Ahaiyuta wasn't oblivious to the sounds of another in the near distance as he walked. And as the obviously female words touched his ears, he couldn't help but groan a little silently, claws subconciously unseathing, before they once again pulled with his paws.
Maybe this wasn't so bad though? It didn't have to be a lioness.. it could just as easily be some female prey animal. Pausing momentarily, he swiveled his ears to the sound, locating the direction of the sound, disreguarding the strange words completely.
With a soft rumbling in his throat, he pressed his tense muscles forward, trotting quickly towards the sound with his head held low. Pounce first, ask questions later.-

"And let that pompous, philanderer lay a paw on my..." "Oh hush you!" An ear twitched, trying to catch the sound with her slightly heightened hearing sense. She whispered quietly to herself, "did you hear that?" "I didn't hear..." "Quiet," she hissed.
She crouched low to the ground. She was downwind and couldn't catch a scent, even after trying a few times. She twitched her tail, waiting. Waiting. She pushed off with her back legs with a growl, her front paws out before her and claws exposed.

-Talk, talk, talk. The sounds drew him to her exact position with ease that made it unnecessary for him to even see her. Azure pelt hidden in the grasses, he moved until finally one word rang out, and wide smirk crossed his maw.
Quiet huh? A little late for that. Springing from his back paws he soared out of the grass and hopefully at the 'prey' he'd be seeking, eyes finally settling in on the creator of the voice.
A lioness. And she was ready for him too. Had Ahai actually thought out his action perhaps he could have avoided the whole thing. But heck.. when was the last time Ahai really thought out something?
Too late for him to stop, so instead he braced himself in that instant for collision with her claws. Bulky body smashed into hers, before falling and stumbling backwards once more, unhappy growl sounding from the young lion.-

She had landed on top of him, jarred completely from paws to shoulders. He smelled sweet just like that other lion she had left, but the deeper feeling was different with this one. Her anger rolled back in her at the thought that she would run into another lion with the same sickly sweet smell. She growled quietly with a small sneeze, her tail twitching violently with the thought of just tearing into his throat.
"Now now. Keep your temper. Beside, I don't like getting blood on my pelt. I can't see where any of it lands and it takes hours t..." Uma cut off her other half's voice in her head as she raised a paw, claws fully extended, ready to tear into the flesh that was beneath her.

-A huff of air escaped him as the female stumbled and landed on top of him and for a split moment Ahai was surprised motionless. But the surprise quickly wore off, and as she began to speak, he began to draw his hind legs back.
The words that errupted were nonthreatening enough, weak even, but the aggression that rang out visibly only bolstered him on. Ahai raised his paws to shield himself while giving a good hard kick with his back legs, in hopes of getting rid of the offending weight, words grumbling in an unpleasant growl.- "Get the hell OFF of me!"

"Ahai?"
A second blue form slipped through the grass in pursuit of its reflection, white-tipped paws patting the dirt in an unconscious stalk. He wasn't really trying for stealth, but all his life he hand tredded carefully, unwilling to accidentaly brush up against another living creature.
The tall stalks parted around him as he moved, creating a soft rustling sound that did nothing to mask the sudden sounds of conflict nearby. Matsai started as his ears flew forward and his head jerked up into the air.
"Ahai! Where are you?" He called out, breaking into a trot in the direction of the noise. They'd been traveling for only a short time, he couldn't believe he'd let himself get parted from his twin already! This was bad, very bad... Feeling a desperation he kept from his face, the blue lion raced towards his other half.

She felt the pressure of his back paws to her chest and then she was flying through the air to land hard on her side on the ground with a sound, "Ooof." She was stunned to say the least. Stunned. Annoyed. And angry. She started to growl, until she heard another voice call out.
Great. Another male. She'd take out both of them. She'd... Those thoughts were instantly replaced when Monifa managed to clamber to the front, shoving the seething Uma back down and out the way. She whimpered softly, now feeling the pain to her ribs, hip, shoulder... It all hurt. Or that's how she felt. And of course, she'd have to deal with it till Uma cooled her jets. "Are you okay?"

-He was pleased and relieved as the female's figure was thrust from him, and quickly he dragged his body up, bracing for the female as if SHE'D been the one to start the whole altercation.
Ears twitching with the familar voice, Ahai barked a simple call, before settled himself dangerously onto his front paws, trying to look as threatening as he could manage.- "I'm here Matsai!"
-Claws extended to grate against the dry soil, he beared his teeth once more as he gave the lioness a once over, his mind reeling once more as she reacted unexpectedly, whimpering and coiling. He didn't know what she was up to... why she was acting so strange. And that in itself aggravated him..- "I'M perfectly fine. What the hell's wrong with you?"

Matsai sighed inwardly in relief at the sound of his twin's voice. He sounded ok, if angry. Not really suprising, since Ahai was often angry or upset over something. He was a volitle version of the cold, reserved Matsai. Since the other male didn't seem to be in real trouble, Matsai slowed as he approached, stepping out of the grass only after he'd taken note of where each lion stood and what they were doing.
Silent, the blue lion padded to stand at his twin's side, green eyes flicked to Ahai for a moment before locking on the female. He had a lot of questions, but they'd have to wait till he made sure there was no danger here.

She gingerly put a paw beneath her, trying to push herself up. It was usually Uma who could withstand attacks, but she was a delicate flower. She didn't need this kind of abuse. She smiled, looking straight passed the two as she spoke quietly to herself, "Funny. That's the same question I ask myself every morning I wake up."
Her legs wobbled beneath her and she had to lock her joints in place so she couldn't fall over. Her blue pelt was completely covered in dirt and dust, giving a dull glaze to her beauty. The whites of her toes and underbelly was tan on one side where she had fallen. She felt like an absolute mess.
"I was merely talking to someone when I heard that 'Ahai' start sneaking up on me," she said with a slight whimper.

-His brow twitched irritantly with her first statement, grumbling internally about his luck. Obviously this lioness was as 'touched' as Belial was. What else could explain the weird words and opposing motions that kept meeting them? And why the hell wouldn't she look at them?
He wanted to hop forward and slap that weak little body she was showing right now, but it was at that moment that his twin appeared from the grasses, pausing at his side. And he settled just a little, his fuse extended for the time being.
However at the 'accusation' he merely scoffed, lifting his body from it's crouch to a more comfortable stance.- "Perhaps if you hadn't left your claws at me, I would have simply passed you by."

Matsai stared at the lioness with a blank expression, though his maw twitched in what could have been a sneer. Look at her... pathetic. Dirty, ragged, thin, unbalanced... Basicly everything he despised about rogues. What a tramp...
"Are you well, Ahaiyuta?" Matsai said softly, his voice cold and emotionless. Those leef green eyes of his soon left the lioness to scan the area, suddenly wondering about whoever it was that she'd been talking to. She'd said she was talking to someone... They couldn't have gotten far if Ahai had jumped the lioness shortly after.
Golden-tufted tail flicking idly back and forth, he let a frown mar his face.
