Video Game Streaming: Demy always loved video games, and what was once strictly a hobby is now more or less his career! Deeming it unsafe to broadcast his face for the world to see, Demy crafted the persona of MIDI, and uses a virtual avatar to interact with his audience. He plays a variety of games, though due to the ever looming threat of DMCA strikes his beloved Guitar Hero is only played while offline. MIDI has been a hit with the kids, the quirky robot known for playing colorful games and emitting various 8-bit noises.
Guitar: Spurred on by his love of Guitar Hero, years ago Demy set out to learn the real guitar. Though the transition from video game to actual stringed instrument was rough he stuck with it and persevered. These days he owns both an acoustic and an electric guitar, and though his original dream of a band never came to fruition he occasionally uploads covers of popular songs to his channel just for the fun of it.
Mascotting: Alright...maybe going to Supermegaawesomecon VIII in his Captain attire was a bad idea. A terrible one, some might say. But Demy can't deny his love of conventions OR how cool his 'costume' was! Since repeating that stunt would likely end up bad for him, he instead had a mascot-suit crafted of his MIDI persona. The suit is equipped with an LED face capable of making several expressions, as well as a soundboard allowing him to emit the 8-bit sounds his online self is known for. If there's some kind of local convention or fair, it's almost certain Demy will be there as MIDI. The hyperactivity of his youth transitioned well into this role, and now he bounces around entertaining the crowds and being his usual goofy self. Just...as a large catrabbit bot thing.
Virtues:
Everyone's Friend/Social Butterfly: Demy is awesome (or so he believes) and clearly everyone in the entire world should know this. As such, he has no problem striking up conversations anywhere and everywhere with whoever he happens across. He's capable of being a charming guy, and he uses this to his advantage to make as many acquaintances as possible. It never hurts to be well connected after all! The next Negaverse recruit may be lurking just around the corner.
Loyal: Sure, Demy likes to go out and make 'connections', but as far as actual friends go you'd have to pass a series of tests that you'd never really know about nor would you ever get an explanation about as Demy would likely be distracted by something mid-sentence. Though, once you are in Demy's circle of true friends, you are there for life. He'll do anything to help his friends. -Anything-. And he'll be there every waking moment of every day just to be sure his friend's don't need help with anything. Thinks Outside the Box: Demy has his own way of doing things, and he'll happily tell you all about it! Each problem is approached, assessed for ability to be solved via glowsticks, and from there he tries anything that comes to mind. It might not always be the best way to solve things, but hey...you won't know until you try it, right?
Flaws:
Wouldn't Hurt a Fly: There was a time when Demy had no trouble giving into his more violent side. However, the days of Scheelite leaping into a fierce battle against Senshi, or consuming a starseed without a second thought are way over. The threat of physical confrontation sends him into a panic, and he will immediately try to grab whoever around him he cares about and high tail it out of there. He is plagued daily by the memories of those he could not save, and he does not want to add another face to the mix.
Doesn't have an 'off' switch: Demy suffers from a near complete lack of a brain to mouth filter. Every little thing he thinks needs to be shared, and at the exact moment he thinks it. This leads to a lot of rambling on his part, with random interjections of "Oh hey look over there...." before heading right back into the main point he was making . This also makes Demy pretty easily distracted, but sometimes that's for the better. These days a hummed tune has made it's way into his frequent ramblings and just general noise making. He's still just as physically draining to be around, however, if you haven't become accustomed to his behavior just yet.
Hiding Behind His Words: Demy is in a near constant state of talking, noise making, or just general...well, being him. Behind all that cheeriness and hyperactivity is a man very troubled by the things he has endured. If pressed, and forced to actually think rather than endlessly babble on he will easily crumble. What if he had actually tried harder, when he was younger? What if he hadn't gotten distracted in the BMC's maze, and had been just a bit quicker? What if he had been there for Nealite? For Charonite? For Linarite? For Tanzanite? What if, what if, what if....what if....
Authority, What's That?: It's not that he's trying to disrespect authority, Demy understands the hierarchy of power and all that. But, since he is on buddy terms with basically everyone, he tends to err on the side of far too friendly with people he shouldn't be. After all, this is the boy who showed up to GK Charonite and Queen Nealite's house in the middle of the night with cupcakes! Same boy who waltzed up to Tanzanite to befriend as others withdrew due to that whole turning into a Youma thing. This goes the other way as well...sure, he's a General, but anyone could easily talk him into forgetting his higher rank and helping the newbies with their basic duties too.
General Appearance:
Eyes: Green, really bright green. Imagine cracking a glowstick. Now crack it open and serve it in a cup. That's how Demy swears he got his eye color, though the lack of a glow still sends him into a minute-long sulk when mentioned. Hair: Blonde and in a style reminiscent of extreme bedhead. On purpose. Often with dyed streaks of hair, currently orange and blue. Stature: 6'4, lean and toned. Expression: Grinning, almost always grinning. Dress: Despite being well into his twenties, Demy still dresses much like he did as a teenager. Bright, colorful clothing in his own brand of "cracked out raver-rockstar". He's still partial to stars on his attire as well. Noticeable Markings: A scar down his neck and towards his throat, where glass from Primase's murder struck him.

Videogames: Specifically Guitar Hero and pretty much any other spinoff of the music genre involving playing on a guitar shaped controller. Demy cannot hit up the mall without making sure he still has the high score on every guitar-game machine in the arcade. And yes...if someone has a higher score (or, god forbid, the high score list got wiped) he will spend -hours- getting his name back on the list on every single guitar related machine. (He'd really like to know who that ANR person is that keeps beating his scores....) Playing the game so much has left him with the annoying habit of 'playing out' the game wherever he is whenever he hears music. Imagine the typical manuever of drumming one's fingers on a table in boredom. Now...imagine that instead of the mindless drumming movement, said fingers were moving back and forth hitting imaginary keys to 'play' with the music. Now imagine that happening on -any- surface, be it a table, his leg, Z!'s head....yeah, you get the point.
Guitar: Sure, it all started with an utter obsession with Guitar Hero. But Demy wasn't satisfied with just that and pushes himself to learn the -real- guitar. The two are completely different and the transition was rough at first but he's learning pretty fast. Demy currently owns a simple learner-accoustic guitar, but hopes to eventually move on to a kickass electric guitar. The eventual goal would be to start up a band, but that'd mean finding other talented people and ultimately sharing the spotlight.
Trading cards: It doesn't really matter what they are (though he draws the line at sports related cards) if it comes in card form Demy probably has a few stashed away somewhere. Trading cards from shows, movies, whatever, he loves them! He passes on actually playing any games involved with Trading Card Games, preferring to just collect the cards themselves for the artwork. Holos are especially loved by Demy for their shininess. His closet holds quite a few 3-ring binders containing his card collections, with a few choice cards hanging up on a cork board in his room. Reason? ....Who knows. But it keeps him entertained and on occasion actually quiet. Anyone who's had to deal with him for extended periods of time knows better than to question anything that can keep Demy quiet.

Life with a Soundtrack: Demy prefers to spice up life by listening to his own internal soundtrack while going through the day. No headphones required, as it's all in his head! (Not that he doesn't -like- headphones or anything, they are just not necessary). Why is this a good thing? Well for one, it's easy entertainment for himself. School tests are always more entertaining with a dramatic spy theme playing through your mind. In actual battles, Demy would charge in, energy levels on high thanks to the peppy tune his brain fills in. This can also lead to him literally dancing his way around attacks, grinning with excitement the whole time.
Flaws:
Huge Ego: Again, Demy is awesome (in his own mind). So awesome everyone needs to know and if they don't think he's simply the most AMAZING thing ever then they just aren't worth his time. This in combination with his lack of an off switch makes Demy rather emotionally (and physically thanks to his hyper personality) draining to be around. Such an ego needs to constantly be supported, whether it's by others or simply a self-assurance that he is in fact super amazing.

Gullible: We'll just put it this way...Demy has checked the dictionary for this word on more than one occasion. It should also be noted that Demy has a bad habit of nudging little untruths into his own life, his gullibility leading him to believe them to be the absolute truth. He sees nothing wrong with lying to himself, in fact he doesn't even view it as lying to himself. It's simply the way things happened.
Total lack of a sleeping schedule: He switches between functioning on a total lack of sleep and needing 12+ hours of sleep...often. There's no rhyme or reason to it, and it's quite frustrating if you're in a position to actually need him for something. He can be roused out of bed before he gets his required amount of sleep, though whoever wakes him up better be prepared with a ton of caffeine to keep him going.

General:
Designation: General Scheelite Nicknames: Schee (mispronounced as "Skee" ) Mineral:Scheelite, a mineral that glows under shortwave ultraviolet light. Challenge: Lieutenant: "DON'T WORRY! I play on expert mode!" Captain: "Everybody knows there's a party at the end of the world! General: "Come to the Negaverse! We have cookies!"
Personality: Long ago, Scheelite had an epiphany. The Negaverse was little more than a rag-tag band of lieutenants when he was brought in, and as he grew up with his fellow officers he realized they were far more his family than his biological one had ever been. He never truly fit in with the others, and yet he found a home within the ranks. There was a time it was near impossible to walk the halls of the Negaspace and not run into Scheelite babbling some officer's ear off.
Being away from the others so long has left him with a need to do whatever he can to make up for time lost. He's returned to those halls, roaming and looking for any bit of work he can do. Scheelite will not engage in battle himself, but he will happily help any members of the Negaverse with anything else they might need. He strives to be the friendly face, welcoming and supportive to his surrogate family.
Weapon:
Lieutenant Stage:Starpower, one of his Guitar Hero controllers. It seems that from a massive amount of use in the home edition of GH, the ever important whammy bar of the controller has been busted. This doesn't seem to affect it's status as a weapon, and while it's not the most useful thing out there it still has the potential to really hurt. The strap has been decorated with a variety of buttons.
Captain Stage:Starstruck, an electric guitar...that's actually electric. The knobs can be turned to alter the level of electricity used in an attack, ranging from a static shock to a full blown shock that can zap someone right off their feet. It is usually set somewhere in the middle range, as the higher the power the less it can be used in a battle. Otherwise, it makes for a good bashing weapon!
General Stage:Starfall, a large crystalline guitar who's glow is only matched by the general who wields it. Because the weapon is blunt force more than lethal, it passes along an electric current. A light hit may result in localized numbing for up to five seconds but a heavy blow may shock someone enough to knock them off their feet. It's large, it's pointy, and he will definitely STAB IT RIGHT---into some marshmallows to roast. Anyone want some?
General-King Stage:Locked. In his dreams it's named Starpocalypse
Partner:
-Scheelite is particularly close with Captain Paragonite, his adoptive sister who he's been MIA with the past few years.
Uniform Accessories:
Teal Armband: A piece of fabric from Captain Dioptase's uniform. Scheelite found this shortly after Lyra planted it in an effort to divert the Negaverse from the true location of the Blood Moon Court's prisoners. Dioptase lost her life and Scheelite wears the fabric to carry her memory forward.
Purple Feather: A feather gifted from the giant Black Phoenix Youma that temporarily gave his weapon fire powers. The magic is long gone, but the feather remains a memory of Tanzanite and a source of comfort for Scheelite.

Scheelite's Office:
Now that he's back in the Negaverse, Scheelite is determined to be as busy as possible. He's been gone too long, and he worries endlessly over how many agents he's failed simply by not being here.
As a result the General has opened his door to anyone who wishes to enter. Seasoned vet, newest recruit, partial youma, corrupt senshi or mauvians, whoever you are you are welcome! There's usually snacks of some sort, and glowsticks for the taking.
He's here to talk to you about...anything. He'll go over battle plans with you, he'll try and find assignments that suit your strengths, he'll be an ear if you just need someone to vent to. Scheelite has had his own tumultuous times and the Negaverse cradled him until he found his footing once more. His greatest desire is to be able to help others find their way. No matter is too trivial to talk to him about. He's the friendly sort, and views the Negaverse as his extended family. Family helps each other, and he's here for you. Always.

Alexander Riviera - Arcade rival and fellow Hillworth 'inmate'. Their relationship was full of good natured ribbing and plenty of heated video game sessions.
Cordelia Carden - An old childhood friend. Gets under you skin in a way you don't actually mind.
Don Diablos - THIS MAN WAS ON FIRE AND DROPPED A CEILING ON HIM. Hates him.

Simon Ferris - Demy tried desperately to teach him the YES dance...in the middle of Hillworth's library. Simon...did not get it. Alas.
Order (Senshi, Knights, Mauvians):
Hugbell - Quite possibly his favorite Order Senshi. Though they aren't on the same side, Scheelite would do anything within his power to protect her.
Rosalind - Was stuck with her in Tartaros. Hated nearly every second of it.
Negaverse (Agents, Corrupted Senshi, Mauvians): Alkaid / Kaia (Khalla) - He's had a ton of fun every time he's hung out with her. A wonderful friend who he'd do anything for.
Ammolite / Lyra - Before her induction into the Negaverse, Scheelite hated this senshi with every bit of his soul. They held a fierce rivalry and battled often. In the wake of BMC Lyra became Ammolite, and Scheelite had to bury that old rivalry to instead welcome her into the family.
Beryl - There was a period of time Demy tried desperately to see his old friend Nealite in their queen...but Beryl decided that any connections to her former host had to be severed fast, and proved she was different by committing the grave sin of removing nearly all the icing from a cupcake Demy had offered her. Nealite would never, and from then on Demy kept a respectful distance from Beryl.
Bixbyite / Alairi McDougall - A fellow officer. A friend. He regrets not spending more time with her when it was possible, and now it would seem...she is gone.
Charonite / Gunn Killingworth - The man who recruited Scheelite. Yes everyone, please thank him for all of this. Cussed and threatened Demy more times than he could count, and yet he still tried to win the General King over with cupcakes and other treats.
Dioptase - One of the missing Negaverser's Scheelite tried to save but was unfortunately too late to do so. During the search he had come across a piece of fabric from her uniform, and though he wasn't there when she passed from this world he wears the fabric as an armband out of respect and memory of her loss. He is unaware he also carries her song forward, having only heard the hummed tune from Primase moments before her own death.
Epsilon - While they can never share the sort of bond a guardian cat and their senshi would, Demy and Epsilon are extremely close. They can often be found together, going over plans, working on tech, or just plain goofing off.
Eveite / Lenora Wickles - An eager Lieutenant with quite the promising future ahead of her. Scheelite only hopes he can be of further assistance to her during her career.
Faustite - Fascinated by his fiery ways, and hey the guy seemed to like the tacos he brought by! Pretty awesome in Scheelite's opinion.
Fayalite / Toki Framont - A great friend! Scheelite absolutely adores any chance to spend time with her. Misses her a whole lot.
Hel / Lorelei Ameti - Member of Team Nightravers, from when Scheelite was a captain. Though they had their spats, including an all out brawl during a particularly rough patch for Scheelite, he has a vast amount of respect for her. If only she'd stop calling him idiot...
Linarite - Scheelte's captain from when he was a Lieutenant. Though other members of the team were closer than he was, Scheelite truly loved their captain and the team as a whole. Having her leave the Negaverse broke his heart, and he was thankful when she was brought back in. He hopes she's doing well these days...
Nealite / Ursula Johnson - More than one time Demy showed up on Nealite's shared doorstep with Charonite, there to offer her cupcakes and just seek her out to talk for a while. Together they've gone shopping (with him carrying her numerous bags), Starseed stealing, ...regular stealing, and they even battled Senshi together. He misses her dearly. Her husband?...He misses him a little less.
Obsidian / Andrew Collins - One of his early trainers, and by 'training' it was mostly Obsidian forcing Scheelite to learn to jump around better by quite literally kicking his a** around an alley. Offered Scheelite glowsticks in return for a prank involving stringing Nealite's panties up the flagpole at Hillworth. ...And yes, of course Scheelite agreed to this.
Painite / Gently Ponsonby - How could he forget Painite or Mr. Saddles? Enjoying escaping the little traps Painite tried to set for him. She's pretty awesome.
Paragonite / Heather Hill - His 'adopted' sister, though it's been so long the pair just refer to each other as true siblings now. Heather took him in when he needed a home and someone to just...understand his pain. It only made sense he be the one to rescue her in her time of greatest need, even if it meant leaving behind the Negaverse as they fled. To this day he still lives with her, and there's not a thing in this universe he wouldn't do for his sister.
Primase - Too late...too late...always too late... Though it was the tornado of glass spawned by a member of the BMC that tore Primase apart, Scheelite blames himself for it as well. He had tried his best to find the missing Negaversers, and yet even his best had been not enough. Scheelite had the grim task of returning what remained of her body. Of being sure she was given a burial. Of making sure that her song continued to live on.
Sassolite / Skye Fortescue - Called Nealite a b***h...Scheelite isn't very fond of her.
Tanzanite / Aree Cadence - Though many would refer to Tanzanite as some sort of monster Scheelite thinks of her as one of his greatest friends. Tanz comforted him as he struggled to find his place in the Negaverse, and after the traumatizing events with the Blood Moon Court she saw to it he wouldn't have to physically fight again. It breaks his heart to wonder what happened to her, and he often finds himself gently petting the feather gifted from her Greater Youma form to ease his mind.
Torbernite / Tobias Balfor - Had the pleasure of being one of the first Negaversers Scheelite met, and thus got to train him. ...Torbernite's training was terrible and upon hearing of it Charonite threatened to spread his a** across the football field. Perhaps they started off on the wrong foot, but Torb and Schee had a somewhat better relationship later on down the road. Forced, really, as their parents ended up marrying and they became half-brothers.
Uranophane / Janice Fitzpatrick - Anyone who will go running all over a convention hall with him is amazing in his book. No it doesn't matter that she wanted to wring his scrawny little neck, or that she cruelly ate Dippin Dots right in front of him, Uranophane is great!
Valleriite / Varete Valentine - Had a few run ins with her, including an attempt by her to cheer him up during a rough period of his life. If she were to come into his life once again, she'd be greeted as an old friend.
Variscite / Dale Spencer - There had been a time where she had been in the band with he, Zink, and others. But a lifetime has seemingly passed since then.
Wolframite - Wolframite was a fellow team-member, and someone he'd protect with his life. Scheelite threw himself into the hunt for those the BMC had taken, desperate to get Wolframite and the others back. He gets a feeling that he annoys the other, but that doesn't change his desire to see Wolframite do well. Completely unaware of all the changes he's been through.
Youma (As a whole) - Scheelite has a vast amount of respect for the creatures that dwell within the rift. So often they are called upon to be their allies, it only makes sense to treat them well. He has a decent track record of 'befriending' larger ones, having obtained rides from both Sparky the Rave Dragon (Scheelite named it, of course), and the Black Phoenix.
Zinkenite / Zachary Bantock - The two have a long history, the details of which Scheelite doesn't like to dwell on. If his old partner ever came to him needing anything, Scheelite would be quick to assist.
Dark Mirror Court: Ares - There are few things that could coax Scheelite back onto the field of battle these days. The chance to destroy Ares and get revenge for those who fell to the Blood Moon Court would be one of them.
Lenka - For being a Mirror Senshi, Lenka seems pretty alright! Once past the initial terror of just what she is, Scheelite could see there was more to her. The fact she didn't seem very gung-ho about being in the court helped quite a bit as well. He promised to be her friend in Chaos, and he intends on keeping that promise.
Requiem - He truly tried. Even in the midst of the Black Phoenix battle, mere moments after witnessing the brutal end of Primase's life, Scheelite tried to help this one. Seeing tears on her prone form he offered her a hand to help her back to her feet. All it earned him was a trip inside her coffin attack.
Other: Wiseman - Though they had been told to keep their distance, Scheelite was convinced he could befriend Wiseman. The two seemed to hit it off when Team Enterprise met up with the mysterious man, Scheelite's gift of a glowstick earning them some information. Scheelite left several notes and additional glowsticks around the city to keep the friendship going, but after events in Tartaros all replies ceased.

...One of these posts is going to be the other's 'glowing reviews' about Scheelite because some of these lines are cracking me up.
Wiseman

Tanzanite

Because the Negaverse had their own love.
It was Scheelite who has opened Tanzanite’s eyes to that fact. When he had been at the lowest of lows, it was to the Negaverse he had turned. The Negaverse, in turn, had cradled and supported him. Helped him return to his feet and find his purpose. He was the first to see them as a family, and that vision has spread. It had taken hold in Tanzanite’s heart the moment she’d seen the troubled boy, and awoken in her a protective strength she hadn’t had before.
Now, she would make sure that he never had to kill again. That he never had to watch as another of his friends died a bloody and agonizing death, as Primase had. The young man had given her a new reason to fight, and it was a favor she fully intended to return. From here
RP Log I'm trying to track down everything and make sure this is a complete log. If there's an RP you had with Scheelite that isn't on this list please let me know!
*Demy -loathes- his real name. So much in fact that very few people actually even know what it is. The quickest way to piss him off is calling him by his real name...but it'd require you knowing it first. *Also in 'things Scheelite would never tell you', despite viewing the Negaverse as a family now his corruption was forced upon him. This memory only truly surfaces if someone grabs his starseed, but he forces it back down as quickly as it appears. *Despite a love of glowsticks, he actually really -hates- the dark. If he's out without glowsticks the dark will put him on edge. *Demy will scream and run if he sees a spider, and no he is -not- ashamed of this. *He injured his ribs fairly early on in his tenure, and had the distinct 'pleasure' of being patched up by Charonite. *Scheelite fought hard in Elysion, and earned himself a broken kneecap courtesy of Bellatrix for his efforts. He's long since recovered, but it required surgery and partial reconstruction. *Mirrors (and the Senshi from them) make him uneasy. Broken glass terrifies him. All he can think of is Primase...and how he had to carry her pieces from the glass tornado that killed her.
