It has been some time... well more than 'some' time, quite a lot of time in fact. She did not remember all of the happenings, they call it slight amnesia. Well, that was what she told everyone anyways. They all asked omg what happened! Why this why that, she feigned ignorance to hide her true identity. She was a senshi, yes a senshi... and she knew better than to pick fights she could not win. Up to this point she would flee from battle, the one time she gave it her all... her blood stained the battlefield more than her enemy. This, did not sit well with her.

Being the kind of person she is, she put on her mask and just took it day by day with a grain of salt. Her bruises an scrapes were now gone, the only evidence of the struggle that remained was the ache in her chest while her ribs reset, and the cast on her foot making sure the bones healed their as well.

It felt like ages, years, before she was allowed out of the hospital. Sometimes being trated like a normal 15 year old was over rated. The only things that kept her going were the daily visits from her mother, and occasionally her friends and team mates. Sometimes even her cousin, whom was released from the hospital before her with also unknown injuries...

She had been home for a week now, still growing used to her newfound weapon of justice: crutches. Chloe did not ask Beth to do any missions while she healed- though she had a sneaking suspicion if she could walk better she would now be out in the field again. She did not have room to complain- she still ******** hurt.

Today she decided to wander out while chloe was away and her mother was home. She wanted to walk around some of her old stomping grounds- gimp or not. After a day of hobbling around she finally decided it was time to return home.

He had done his own healing after their original run in. His own ribs broken, and an injured roommate to take care of, Demy had spent a good majority of his time at school being a normal kid.

Unfortunately the Negaverse would only let him sit in wait for so long, and eventually the dark little voice urged him up and out of the 'safety' of Hillworth and back onto the city streets for patrols. And it was then that he took to a new habit.

Watching for Z's mom.

She had made the fatal flaw of getting in between him and his love. Sure, Z had thrown her out and actually finally confessed a love for him, but she still sat in the back of Demy's mind, haunting his daily thoughts. She didn't accept him, in fact she'd likely never accept him.

He wasn't going to stand for this.

For about a week now he had remained low, watching for any sign of the woman who had caused him so much grief. Caused -Z- so much grief. Demetri Wright would not stand for -anyone- picking on his boyfriend...not even his own mother. His patrols turned up sightings, rather -often- even. It was almost odd how he spotted the woman sometimes without even trying. Sometimes more than -once- in a night.

Oh well, it just made it easier for him.

Today had been the day he made his move, a fresh bout of anger brought on as he reflected on those encounters in the hospital urged him on. Blinded him to the warning bells going off in the back of his head as he stalked around the semi-familiar residence. It hadn't taken long, really she stood no chance against an agent of the Negaverse. His one regret was maybe he had been too merciful. Really, he should have dragged it on juuuust a bit longer.

No matter.

This body was left behind. He -wanted- someone to find it. Wanted someone to report the death of this horrid woman. Wanted Z to know he was free of her oppressive rule. They were both free now, to love each other and do what they wanted with their lives.

Or so he thought.

Starseed pocketed, Scheelite slowly strolled out of the residence, eyes shut and a tune on his lips as he started down the street.

Hobble Hobble Hobble.... thats how her day was going. She was fine, totally fine, up until she was a block away from her house. See, she should be used to this by now. Senshi were attracted to trouble, it was their duty to save people afterall. It just seemed like their was so much more trouble out their now... and it was growing ever faster.

Two things happened once she looked up and paused her crutches action. A: She saw someone walking out of her house... and it didnt look like the mail man. and B: She recognized the little s**t whom was doing the walking. The next instant, Beth was no longer beth. No... she was now Sailor Lyra. She did not care if anyone saw her- her mind was racing. (thankfully no one was around to see her) Why would the negaverser be at her house, to try and finish the job? Was he just out for revenge? How had he found her home? Lastly- the more panic'd thought struck. Her mother was home today. Without thinking she started to run, leaving the crutches behind. Well, fast hobbling is more like it. She was thankful for the senshi's pain threshold, which was more tolerable than in civilian, but she would regret this later. Her leg wanted to scream out STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING- but she couldn't. Her enemy was in front of her, she needed to make sure she got to him before he got to her mom. She did not want to believe he had already.

It had been easy, almost too easy. But he wasn't going to complain. Z's mother was gone, and he still had a good chunk of the day to spend with his roomie.

Those warning bells were going off again, or at least -trying- to. Something was poking at him, trying to tell him he was in DANGER. He wasn't alone here, something else was giving off a rather noticeable power signal.

Scheelite didn't pay attention.

Really, he was far too drunk off the rush of what he'd just done to pay attention. And really...what possible danger could he be in here? Just a tiny residential area right, no possible way there were -senshi- here or anything.

No no no, it was a perfect day. Just plain perfect. He whistled and walked on, lying to himself that everything was fine and there wasn't a single thing to worry about.

She could not help but hiss in pain while she quickly hobbled- part of her was in shock that the negaverser had not spotted her. Was he blind or just stupid? She wasn't trying to hide, not even slightly. Plus she was gimpy. Gimps made noise.

Thunk thunk thunk.

50 feet... 20 feet... She was now in range of him, if she was in top condition he would have had a shoe print on his face faster than he could say ' star seed'. Though her top priority was her mother she would have to settle for a swift, but hard, punch to his shoulder. She felt her knuckles connect on the mesh covered arm, and while she wanted to glee about this her attention was divided. After the punch she quickly dove into the door, turned the corner into the kitchen where her mother normally was this time of day... and stopped.

...

.....

Her breath stopped, her heart stopped, hell...everything stopped for a split second before it all went into slow motion. "No..." She whispered- closing the gap between herself and the body that was now crumpled lifeless on the floor. "No no no no NO!"

PostPosted: Wed Mar 24, 2010 6:41 pm

Of -course-.

That's what he got for thinking there couldn't possibly be Senshi in this area. Not only a Senshi punched him straight in the arm, but it had been that particular senshi that he had an epic battle with a few weeks ago. The one that ended with him having broken ribs.

He didn't particularly like this Senshi.

The sudden blow to his arm forced him to stagger back (really he was lucky he didn't fall on his a**), and yelp in surprise. It hurt, damn did it hurt, but he wasn't about to let that get to him.

Afterall, he had just killed Z's mother. Why let a silly old Senshi ruin such a great day?

Whirling around, Scheelite steadied himself before running back inside after Lyra.
"Yes...yes yes yes. And good riddance too."
He was content to stand in the doorway for now, watching the dramatic little scene play out before him. Despite his throbbing shoulder, he couldn't help but grin. Really, he still felt on top of the world.

"No no no..." She continued sounding like a broken record. The walls closed in on her, time still stood almost still. Each breath of air was harder to breath than the previous. Still in her fuku she lifted her mothers head and placed it on her lap- she placed a hand over her mothers mouth to try and feel the air as she exhaled- only she knew it was not there. It would never be there again. In all of the fighting, killing youma, even the deaths reported on tv, she never thought this would happen. Let alone in her own home. If she had only not gone out for the day... not snuck out against her mothers wishes and stayed home to heal- she would have been here to protect one of her only family members left.

It was the voice behind her that brought the world from a near stand still back to full crashing speed. That voice that had haunted her in her dreams for the past month while she healed. Him.

Reluctantly she placed her mothers head back on the floor. She bent over one last time and kissed her mothers forehead- tears streaming out of her lime green eyes. "Goodbye mother.." She whispered in a almost inaudible tone.

Whirling around within a split second- she lifted herself off the ground and launched herself at the negaverser. Her foot and ribs remained forgotten- the feeling she felt when she saw her cousin nearly dead on the ground was returning at a alarming rate. The adrenaline caused her to ignore her pain- her ribs were almost healed anyways and her foot had maybe a month more to go... Lyra attempted to square off another punch to the negaverser. Her home, HER HOME. He had violated her home and destroyed one of the only people she loved with all her being. The closest bond any child could have- their parent. "********. YOU." She growled.

PostPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 9:41 am

A voice inside his mind was questioning the scene before him. Why was this Senshi so concerned over this miserable excuse for a woman? He supposed the Senshi were concerned over -any- loss of life, but this seemed like something more. Something so much more. That voice wondered and worried...had he done the right thing? Was killing Z's mother really necessary? Sailor Lyra seemed -so- hurt by this scene, was this really the only course of action he could have taken? Maybe...maybe if he put the starseed back everything would be okay...

But then Z would be back under his mother's oppressive rule. Demy would be hated even more, and maybe then she'd -really- follow through with her threat of forcing Z into another school. No... NO. He couldn't let this happen, ever. Life wasn't worth living without Z at his side. He -had- done the right thing, and whatever Lyra's problem was well...she'd just have to get the hell over it.

Still that voice prodded, preventing him from letting the feeling completely go.

Scheelite thanked video games for his quick reflexes as he managed to catch the punch in his hand.
"No thanks doll, I don't exactly swing that way ya know?"
The tiny voice may have have been worrying, but Scheelite didn't have time to listen to it. Now was the time for action, but taunting was always fun too!

He released her hand, backing up a few steps to put at least a little distance between them once more. Lyra might notice a few tendrils of darkness slinking down his chest, but rather than form any kind of attack they simply solidified into the plastic controller he called a weapon. For now it rested against his back, the last of the tendrils forming into the strap that held it in place.

"Why do you care anyway? She didn't deserve her life, her family, anything. Really, she didn't even deserve the quick death, but I was feeling generous today."
Death made him uneasy, or at least -part- of him uneasy. There was a more primal part of his mind that absolutely thrived on death, on revenge

She hissed out in pain and frustration when he caught her fist- the pain coming from the rough grip. She attempted to recoil her hand back- but found the grip to just grow tighter as she tried. Finally with one last tug, she broke free and also backed up- eying the tendrils warily as they formed into the guitar that she remembered all too well.

Lyra's mind was screaming at her to get out of the house and take this outside- to not defile her childhood home. She was just about to make for a door that lead outside when Schee struck a insanely sour note- one that caused her tears to stop as her eyes lowered in anger. A cold fire seemed to burn within the green depths.

"Who are you to ******** judge who deserves life." With the final note- she forgot all about the fight happening in her own home. She didnt care- she lunged again at the now armed lieutenant. Once again she appeared to punch- but last second she turned it into a kick.

PostPosted: Sun Apr 04, 2010 8:29 pm

He had been ready to catch that punch as well, perhaps twist it and break some bones. Breaking Lyra's bones the last time around had been so satisfying. If only he could do it again---

And then a kick hit home -right- into his side and the lieutenant yelped out in pain. The pain was damn near unbearable, and quite noticeable as every muscle seemed to tense. If he was smart he'd leave now. His original 'mission' was done, there was no real reason to linger around here and get kicked around.

But there was just -something- about this senshi that made him stay. He couldn't leave, couldn't just run off with his tail between his legs and licking his wounds. No no, Sailor Lyra was something more, and what kind of 'nemesis' would he be if he just ran off?

He had moved with the kick, struggling to get back and out of the way in the limited space available. His mind -had- wandered, but it was back now and the fight was definitely on.

"Well, who are -you- to judge who doesn't deserve death, hrmmm?"
Schee was still moving back. One hand was lifted, showing off the starseed he had 'liberated' from his victim.
"Who knows? Maybe death is better, maybe something -awesome- lies on the other side? Or maybe it just sucks. Either way, if you think I can't pick who dies, well I say -you- can't pick who lives. Sucks to be you~"
He eyed the starseed a moment longer, even -licking- it just slightly (he did have to think a moment on how amazing that had felt, those little seeds sure packed a power punch!), before pocketing it again.

And in a flash the guitar was yanked off his back, and the lieutenant was lunging right at her, the guitar aimed for her face.

Once the kick connected she didnt wait around long and quickly jumped backwards and landed with a loud thunk, and a creak, on the dining room table. Her mind was just getting more fired up as this Negaverse Lieutenant shot off his mouth. Part of her should know that he was just trying to provoke her... provoke her, anger her, and he was doing a damn good job of it too.

"How about we play a little experiment then? How about i send you to your death swiftly- and you send me a post card telling how it went?" She wanted to growl, but she bit her tongue- a little too hard because she could taste her own blood in her mouth. She, thankfully, did not put 2+2 together that he just LICKED her mothers star seed - she did not have enough time to ponder this.

Using her senshi reflexes- Sailor Lyra picked up one of the dining room chairs ahdn flung it directly at Scheelite, and grabbed a second to defend herself with. Almost healed ribs and foot be damned- this was going to get messy.

PostPosted: Tue Apr 06, 2010 8:33 am

Alright, change of plan! Face smashing in would have to come later. For now, Scheelite adjusted his lunge to grab the chair out of the air with one hand, and hold his guitar controller in the other. Ha ha, take THAT Senshi!

The Negaverser skidded to a halt by the table, grinning up at the other.
"Hrm...naaaah, doesn't sound like fun man. How about instead, I grab a hold of your little star seed, yank it out, you can go get a first hand look at death and -I- can skip off to Charonite and get a nice pat on the head for taking you out. Sound good?"
The chair was tossed aside, hard. Whatever it hit must have been rather fragile, as a series of rather loud crashes followed it's flight.

"Oops."
Still grinning, he shrugged his shoulders. Nope, sorry, he really didn't give a s**t that he was making a mess.

"Spoken like a True Negaverse b***h, why dont you go home to daddy with your tail between your legs?" She glared as he tossed the chair into a china cabinet-everything inside now tumbled down and smashed against the wooden floor. The part that would bother her later was- presently she did not care. Blinded by her own rage she was prepared to burn her house down if it meant killing this Lieutenant.

Other chair still in hand- she charged towards Scheelite. She was growing tired of his smug attitude as the minutes flew past. What good would this do? She had no clue but it seemed good at the time.

PostPosted: Tue Apr 06, 2010 8:53 am

"Because you haven't given me a reason to run off like a wuss. Actually, the way I remember it, -I- kicked the s**t out of you last time...how about we do that again mmkay? It was tons of fun last time!"
But no, at the moment he didn't seem interested in going directly after her. Actually, this whole making a mess thing seemed like fun. Lyra may have been after him now, but he was quick on the uptake and decided to see just how much she'd follow after him.

It was all one giant -game- now.

The guitar was moved back to it's regular position strapped across his back so he could have both hands free. That done, Scheelite turned and headed for a hallway, determined to lead the charging Lyra on a chase. A hand shot out to grab something and hurl it back at her. He hadn't looked, but the hurled object turned out to be a family photo album, a few pictures fluttering out and onto the floor.

If he -had- looked, maybe he would have noticed the picture that included a boy looking an awful lot like Z....though in his current state of mind, maybe he wouldn't have noticed afterall.

The photo album whizzed by her face barely missing her -- not before one of the stray photos hit her straight in the face. It was a photo of Beth and Z as children- sitting in front of the large red couch in their living room. She stared at it for a blank second- part of the agony of what news she had to tell her cousin hit her. She balled her fist around the photo- watching as Schee darted deeper into her home.

Oh ******** this. " Nebula SCATTER!" She cried- her house was a mess as is who cared if there was a layer of particles over it. The sickening bright colored matter spread all over her house- top and bottom floors. There would be no getting out of it this time if this Lieutenant insisted on violating her house.

Setting the chair and the photo down she grabbed the first thing she could- which was a giant vase- and flung it down the hallway the direction Schee had darted.
