It had been a while since he'd seen Beth, a really long while. Back around the time her mother had been killed...which was of course -his- fault but she didn't know that. Couldn't know that.
He still felt horribly guilty...
Meeting up was made harder still by the fact she was currently residing at Zac's house. A place that was nearly impossible for Demy to get near, simply because Zac's mother hated him. Absolutely hated him. Though from what he gathered, she wasn't exactly the most loving person to -anyone- really. At least he wasn't too singled out.
But today he was going to change that. He had nabbed a phone number to reach Beth from Zac, and took up hiding close enough to Zac's house to meet up with the girl, but not so close as to bring the wrath of satan herself down upon him.
He needed some advice.
One short phone call later to let her know he was there and he had taken to pacing on the sidewalk, waiting for her to come out so he could quickly get the -hell- away from this dreadful place.

So... Demy needed advice.
That was a really random phone call, her phone started to jingle "fireflies" while she was sitting in her room reading a book. Unsure of who it was she picked up and gave her 'polite' phone voice- and went to normal chatty voice once she realized it was Demy. He was a friend and very rarely did she get phonecalls anymore, so it was a pleasent surprise.
Not to mention an excuse to get the hell out of that house. Since the cake incident... she pretty much threw out any food in the house they had at all. From the halfway gone pasta boxes to the little rice cakes. Beth had to resort to drastic measures of hidden food under her bed and in her dresser. She was starting to go crazy from only eating bagged and or processed foods though... she needed to go get some real food. Heck she LOATHED beef and she was tempted to go get a burger!
Exiting the house she quickly fled down the street, not wishing to be stopped in any way in case 'she' was home. God no.
"Demmyy!" She called after running a block or two, nice place to hide... he cant be seen but he could probably have seen the house from here. "Came as soon as i could, what did you need help with?"
"...Also would you mind chatting over lunch? My brains starting to have a meltdown from lack of nutrition."

"Hi Beth!! Sorry I couldn't meet you closer but....well, you know."
He sighed a bit, rubbing a hand through his hair. But it was quickly gone, because he needed -advice- and this was going to be a happy day!
"Of COURSE we can meet over lunch, totally fine! And..well..."
Demy glanced up and down the street, nodding for Beth to follow as he started walking off towards a place to eat.
"Sooooo I need some dating advice, just hear me out! I just...I dunno, you're Zac's cousin...I need some help thinking up something really awesome for him. Think you can help me with that? Pleaseeeeee Beth? I'd really love the help!"
And he'd beg on his knees for it if it came down to it.

"OH yeah i know." She said knowing all too well about Zac's mothers insanity. "I think she has just a few screws loose...." She muttered, looping a arm through demys and practically DRAGGING him down the road while they spoke.
"Aha!" She said tightening her grip a little. "So you two ARE dating. I swear ive been waiting for one of you to tell me for AGES but you like kept your mouths zipped up! So i was 75% sure but...."
"ANYWAYS! Of course i can help, you both mean a lot to me." More than you know... she added mentally. "So of course ide help, but first where would you like lunch?" Her stomach growled... oh thats embarrassing.

"...You didn't know?"
He was keeping up with the dragging pretty well. He was also in pretty high spirits about it, grinning the entire way down the street. This, however, brought a moment of confusion.
"I thought you did! I'm sorry Beth! Zee-man doesn't talk about it much because you know, it's feelings and somedays I think he believes they'll come alive and bite him or something. Silly Zee! But yeah we've been dating for a while..."
Then there was that whole evil break-up thing, but no need to mention that!
"...you sound hungry, why don't you pick lunch? Besides, I drive everyone kinda nuts with -my- preferences, but I really like anything! Sooo, go ahead and pick!"

"I didn't!... Then again you have a point. Prying information out of Zac is like... pulling teeth out of a shark with no Novocaine..." Did she just compare Zac to a pissed off shark? Oh well!
...She couldnt help it, it was almost as if the irritated from their powered formed shined through...and yet it didnt. She punched him in the shoulder. "Hoooy! I like to know these things!!! If its been a while! He is like a older brother to me, Demy!" She looked almost genuinely upset with a pout face.
"Hmph! Well.... i forgive you. Also ....Whats wrong with Tacos?" She remembered that part at least from a conversation with Zac. She knew Demy liked tacos and burritos..." I could go for some nachos!"

"I'm sorry Beth! I really thought you knew!"
The blonde fidgeted nervously, rather concerned that he had actually upset her. The concern lasted...just up until the mention of tacos.
Tacos always made everything instantly happy in Demy's little world.
"Nothing's wrong with tacos! I just worry other people might not enjoy them quite as much as I do, which is hard to imagine because -man- tacos are awesome, but I dunno...."
Here he tried to take the lead, dragging -her- along behind him for a change.
"If you're game for nachos, I'm game for tacos, let's go get some!"

"Eeep!" She laughed as he took the lead and dragged her this time. Though she wouldnt tell him the eeep was also from being sore from bruises...
"I admit im picky with Tacos... but Nacho's to me are a fall back anytime." She smirked as they walked towards the taco restaurant. Once there, beth ordered the nachos... and walked towards the table with her order.
"Soo.. this date... what were you thinking for it?"

Demy had nabbed his own order of delicious tacos, and once at the booth he had plopped into his own side, Beth on the other, and sat his things down.
What...-had- he planned?
"I...dunno. It seems like we have such little time to just hang out and do stuff, but the whole dinner and a movie thing seems so cliche and I have no idea if he'll like it or just..."
He sighed, poking at one of his tacos as he struggled to figure out just -what- he wanted to do for this.
"I want it to be perfect and for him to have -fun- and I'm scared of screwing it up and making him unhappy. I don't want Zac to be unhappy..."
