Well okay, there was no explaining it. He was latched to his friend like a scared little kid. But hey, his friend -had- asked if he wanted a panda to hug! Looks like he got one Z.

Zac chuckled, "yep, your juuuuust fine." he shook his head a little and bent to lay a light spontaneous kiss against Dem.
"It's ok if you wana stop." He murmured reassuringly. At least here no one else could listen, or judge. His mother was safely away, the locks were changed so no father could intervene.... it was...
it was perfect.

If anything else, the little kiss seemed to calm his nerves. Or perhaps just distract him from the movie long enough to calm back down. Either way it worked.
"No it's fine I'm gonna get through this!"
His grip had loosened just a bit. He could do this, he could -totally- do this. It was just a bit of blood and screaming! Once past the initial gore it wasn't so bad...

"Alright... well, lemie know..." He said and shifted his things around just to make sure that nothing was going to be knocked over or spilled.
Maybe he should have started him with something like the halloween movies, or Hannibal Lecter, but the first didn't really introduce the point and the other, well... spent too much time -eating- people. Now was not the time to present -that- as a reassuring behavior regardless of motive.

Thankfully, for Z at least, Demy -had- managed to calm down. Sure the taller boy was curled into a little ball snuggled against Z, but he -was- watching the movie with minimal complaint now. It actually was pretty interesting, when he finally got into the story itself.
Was this how Z operated?
At some point during their movie marathon, Demy had even managed to ask Z questions about the method in which the 'killer' operated. This was reassuring! He was not only watching, he was learning. Good, right?
