She'd gone through three different hair styles waiting for a call from Ume, finally settling on sweeping all of her hair up away from her neck, pinning it securely in place with several cute star-shaped barrettes. It was bound to be hot with all of the lights and the bodies so she was planning ahead. Her hair couldn't possibly get frizzy or sticky or gross if it wasn't clinging to her neck, right?

Once her hair was set she checked herself in the mirror, eying the shirt she'd picked out again before heading back over to her closet. She was almost certain that she'd picked the best shirt, but just in case she didn't she wanted to make sure that she at least had other options set aside. After all, even if Ume wasn't able to help her with that she was almost certain that Demetri would tell her whether or not her attire was 'rave appropriate' the moment she answered the door... The little weasel.

It wasn't like she'd really wanted to drag him along anyways, but he seemed like he needed something to cheer him up and at least this way there were no surprises. She'd know he was there and he wouldn't get the change to randomly pounce her in front of friends like some weird animal.

"Hi! Woah, wait... Hold on there. Breathe, Ume." She laughed, shaking her head as she slid into the chair in front of her vanity, grabbing one of her flavored lip glosses. "I don't mind at all if you bring a friend. Actually, I'm kind of bringing one too. He's going to meet us here... And no, before you ask, it's not a date kind of he. It's just a friend of mine who's had too much on his mind lately and I thought all of the lights would make a really good distraction."

Funny that she'd told Ume to breathe when she'd just rambled on herself.

"So. When should I expect the two of you?"

"Walking here is fine... That gives me some time to raid the kitchen for some snacks to munch on while we're getting ready so I'll at least be downstairs before the two of you get here and maybe I'll be able to get to the door before my parents do." She rolled her eyes as if Ume would be able to see that, shaking her head.

"We have a ride out to the warehouse, though, so no worries about walking all the way out there in the dark." Nope. She wasn't taking that chance again. Newly awakened powers or not, she didn't need to risk running into any more of those star seed ganking freaks.

Rea listened quietly the entire way they were walking, watching Ume talk on the phone out of the corner of her eye and trying to politely not listen to her conversation. When the gotchic girl had 'asked' her to come, the redheaded crystal girl had initially been hesitant, her expression the epitome of skepticism. A rave wasn't exactly where she would have chosen to go on a night like this, or any night, for that matter. In fact, she wasn't really much for the 'partying type,' so to speak. She was more of the 'let sailor-dom devour your life' type. Which probably wasn't healthy, but hey, everyone had their vice.

Truth be told, she really had let the whole thing with Delphine get to her. She had let everything get to her, Kunzite, Helios, Charys, but Delphine was the last straw, the thing that set her over the edge into 'too much s**t to think about.' She had doubted from the start that she would make a good leader, but now that Charys had left, and Delphine was trying, it was solidifying in her mind, and causing her to feel an insecurity she rarely felt about anything she did.

Really, this outing was good for her. Even if she should have been dusting youma.

"You won't bore me," Rea replied as they stepped up to the door, watching Ume ring the doorbell idly and noticing the other's nervousness. "Relax. I've got your back." She was, of course, talking about if a youma appeared, but if Ume took it any other way she would probably agree she had her back in that too. It just wasn't at the forefront of her mind.

Ume blushed and let herself be pulled in.
"I should admit I've never gone to a rave before, I sort of... mixed some of my older clothes I hope that's alright, I... OH! Oh heaven's I'm so sorry! Rea this is Cordelia, Cordelia this is Rea!" She introduced you both looking quiet put out at herself for nor remembering to do so right away.
"... Oh gosh! I've never seen you with all your hair up before! Oh wow!" She said looking terribly impressed with the whole of it.

"It's alright, I haven't gone to one either... But I did a little bit of research," meaning that she'd consulted a friend who was an 'expert' on such things, "and I think you'll do just fine. We'll just have to get you a bracelet or two and some glowsticks..." She nodded, smiling brightly before bringing a hand up to her hair. "I thought it would be easier to stay cool with all of those people if my hair was up and out of the way. We can do something with yours too, if you'd like. I still have some of the star clips left... I think they glow under black light."

As much as she rambled she did her best not to forget the other girl as she turned to lead them up the stairs to her bedroom. "Thank you, Rea. It's nice having friends over for once. Usually when I'm home it's all by myself." Not that she minded it, of course, as it generally gave her a chance to wind down and be herself.

"I have some snacks upstairs... Mostly healthy stuff, though. Grapes and apple slices along with some fruit dip... And a few cookies. I hope you don't mind iced tea? If you do, I can easily go get you something else. Mother said we should each bring our own bottles of water..."

He had taken his sweet time arriving at Cordelia's house, and the reason why was anyone's guess. Second thoughts perhaps? Z was pretty messed up, and for about the hundredth time that evening Demy felt a tinge of guilt for leaving him at a time like this . And for the hundredth time that evening he told himself there wasn't anything he could do right now and when Z was feeling better he'd be at his side 24/7. Maybe he had some 'work' to accomplish first...not that he'd be of any use in his current condition. Or maybe, just maybe, he had taken his time to pack the bag he carried along with him.

...Not likely.

At any rate, one Demetri Wright finally -did- show up in his rave outfit, which was.....well it was normal attire for him. Sighing, he adjusted his hat yet again (oddly pulling it to cover his eyes more - they were a lot duller than usual), and rang the doorbell. And rang it...and rang it again. Several rings in a row were likely to gather attention right? He liked attention! Plus it'd probably annoy Cordy and he'd get a small grin out of that.

He needed a reason to smile these days.

Anytime was a good time to be obnoxious! As promised the doorbell ringing annoyed Cordelia and earned a small grin from the blonde.
"Of course it's me. Why so surprised? You invited me afterall...or did you not want to admit that to your friends?"
Right, hide all knowledge of knowing the 'dirt-eating troll'. It was a game they had played for pretty much forever.

"Hey, don't act like you don't know how I dress. It is, afterall, the reason you wanted me along yeah? I think the main question here is what are you wearing."
Demy gave her a quick poke to the shoulder and moved past her and into the house. Pick on her outfit the moment she opened the door? Check!
"Your mom wouldn't kill me and you -know it-, silly silly Cordy."
