Scheelite had been spending an awful lot of time in the Negaverse subspsace. Ever since the Blood Moon Court battle he had been simultaneously on edge and lost in some sort of depression. So much had been lost, so much changed, and with it it took the majority of the young Captain's courage.

He didn't live there, he couldn't after all. Demy had a home, and a 'big sister' who would kick his a** if he disappeared for too long. But when she was at school, he was there and exploring. In the beginning he had mostly stayed curled up in a corner and thought about things. But slowly he had started to make steps to get out of his depression, and each day he went a bit further. One day he had found a room down a particularly long hall, it's only contents a table and chairs formed out of the same rock as the rest of the expansive halls.

This would work perfectly.

Scheelite then struck up conversation with his partner. Despite the loss, despite Scheelite's attempt at closing himself off from the pain and sorrow, despite everything they still had a job to do and a war to win. Maybe their views were different now, but that was all the more reason to have this meeting.

Today Scheelite sat in one of the rocky chairs, fidgeting nervously as he waited for Zinkenite and their meeting. This will go well he told himself. He and Zink had planned many things before, maybe a meeting like this was just what the doctor had ordered.

Zac appeared with folded arms... days of late had been hard on everyone, emotional turmoil to put it lightly, many people had nightmares, some... some might never truly recover from what they had personally experienced at the hands of the Blood Moon Court.

It was that knowledge that made Zink all the more resolved not to be a burden, not to focus on how he had felt coming out of this because other people 'needed' the attention more. It was not his wisest philosophy perhaps but no one currently here was of the sort to delve into -those- particulars... far more likely they would discuss his intentions for others... Zink Expected that, he liked knowing what to expect even if he didn't always appreciate what he was expecting.

"Stop looking so Nervous... It's not like you asked to meet with the queen." He scolded.

"If I was meeting with the Queen, I would have brought cupcakes!" Scheelite broke into a grin, forcing his nervous fidgets to stop at the scolding. He would be fine. This was Zink! Really, the general's energy aura was putting him at ease already.

"How are you holding up man?" Acid eyes shifted to Zink's face, their owner's head tilted a bit as he waited for a reply. Sometimes he really tried to pull himself together to check on his partner. Zink needed him, even if the other tried his best to be strong for everyone else. It was all the more reason to worry and check on him. He hadn't been able to before, not when Primase's death was so very fresh in his mind.

Now? ...Now at least that wound had just the tiniest sliver of time to heal in, it was enough to make checking on his partner a possibility.

A sharp glance, a small frown. Dem didn't need to be pulling him out of his sulk for HIS sake, but it was as close as he was going to get to a scolding for now. "Fine..." He said, if it was a lie it was one shielded behind almost blank eyes and no inflection one way or the other. "Broken rib still but it's healing." He continued without missing a beat.

"And you?" He asked inclining his head ever so slightly. Bright eyes searched the taller young man's face as though he were reading the answer's there before they were ever spoken.

He waited for an answer before he started even thinking about the business to which they planned to attend. That would come after the formalities, polite, familiar things that helped everyone. Routine... necessary... vital even.

"Erk...totally feel you on the broken rib thing. That was definitely not fun, but you'll be better in no time man! Have you tried taking an energy orb? You can have one of mine if you'd like, I have some stashed away..."

Scheelite shifted again, moving to sit up more in his seat rather than slouching. A hand went up to rub at his neck, which for the moment was still bandaged.

"I'm...fine. Really." Zink knew enough about Schee to read that he likely wasn't fine. But his captain put on a brave face and a small smile anyway. He'd be fine, he just...had to keep saying it.

"As per normal when you say that... I call bullshit." He said and took a deep breath and exhaled it. "Have you spoken with the General Queen yet?" He prodded, frowning slightly as he asked. He very much doubted it... to be honest.

"Either way.. I do have a request to make when you're ready to begin."

Better perhaps to get him focused on new things rather than allowing him to do what Zac, in himself at least would consider "wallowing". Not that he had never indulged in that, he had, in fact quite often though as long as 'work' was involved he just called it 'thinking.'

"....No. But but I still am going to! I promise! I just want to catch her at the right time and have everything I want to say worked out and..." He was stumbling over his words, but trying to explain as quick as he could. Schee knew the 'no' would disappoint his partner, but he had reasoning for it! He really did!

"I swear I'm going to talk to her Zink, really. Promise."

The blonde shifted again, quite eager to put that behind him. Avoidant, really, but he was still terrified of the possible outcome and it was just too soon. He'd do it though, because he had promised his partner and he did his best to keep every promise he made to the shorter boy.

"I'm ready! What's the request Zink?"

"Soon Scheelite..." Zinkenite intoned. There was after all, no time like the present.

"That new Lieutenant, the one who you draped on and draped -back-" He said as a reminder to Dem whom he was speaking of. "Ilmenite... His idea of fighting is something like an underweight sumo... throwing himself into things, which works fine if you have a KNIFE, but since he's just armed with duct tape, its rather like watching a 10 year old trying to hog tie a boa constrictor..."

He paused thoughtful. "Not that he hasn't managed to pull it off... but on the whole he could use some... assistance. You have better reach, and no broken rib...besides that you also won't kill him with smoke, might you consider... undertaking a training session for me?"

"Soon, I promise."

Scheelite sat and listened, thinking back on who Ilmenite was as Zink went on. Ah..so he was another one who liked to just throw himself into battle? Well Scheelite had experience with that, and as against fighting as he was at the moment well...a spar was different now wasn't it?

Besides, Zink was asking him to help train his lieutenant! That was quite huge, and the amount of trust that showed made the Captain break into a genuine grin.

"Consider it? Sure...hrmmm let me think about it....I'll do it!" Yeah, that 'thinking about it' lasted about three seconds. At least he DID think about it! "Promise I won't teach him to aim for the face all the time, or -sit- on people as a defense. Really."
PostPosted: Fri Apr 15, 2011 8:00 pm

"Please don't kill him." He added with a meaningful stare when 'aim for the face' came up.

"His hands were torn to hell durning the BMC rescue... so please don't let him OVER do it either, if he does I might consider it acceptable to cream him with the guitar... but I'd prefer you just energy tap him and I'll tell you where to send him home."

"Thank you..." He added. "I appreciate it enormously." - He didn't mention that he had tried, and been landed on due to a gross error in judgement on his own part.

"I don't want to kill anyone Zink, you won't have a problem there.... If he starts overdoing it I'll zap him and text you to find out where you'd like him. I don't want to hurt your lieutenant, or anyone else in the family for that matter."

Scheelite continued to grin, which was good! It meant that for at least a while he wasn't dwelling on things.

"You're so welcome man, you can ask me for stuff like that any time. I don't mind! Happy too, really!" It gave him a purpose, after all.

"Well...I like your new lieutenant. Whatcha think of mine? I think they're both going to be really helpful..."
PostPosted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:36 am

"She seems smart enough, I think she shares a temperament in regards to physical combat though, she'll want some special training for that perhaps. Something to hold her over till she reaches captain at least."

He gave a small shrug before continuing. "...mmm... Is she doing alright after the BMC mission as well? We spoke briefly, I realize that everyone is taking this hard but the newest recruits. For that to be one of their first experiences..."

He shook his head again, he hoped it did not become common place, while he could in turn, now that the Senshi had set the rules quite easily imagine the use of torture and ultimately death in gathering information, utilizing the utter inaccessibility of the dark kingdom as something 'potentially viable' he still found the idea distasteful. Nevermind that any information gathered during periods of extreme pain or duress would have to be held as suspect, people would say nearly anything under pain, the people who admitted to being Witches in the Salem Witch trials for example.

It didn't stop him at all from wondering what, if anything had been revealed to the BMC, how much was accurate... was anyone compromised.

"I'd like to do some training with her. I took her with me before but...we were mostly looking for the others, so there wasn't much time to really work with her you know? But now there is, and I think it'd be good for her...and me."

Scheelite had sat still for as long as he possibly could, which meant that a hand had moved to slowly trace a finger along the table in front of him. There, with that little bit of movement he'd be okay for a while. At least his energy was coming back?

"She...took it hard, because of finding Helicase. I sat and talked with her for a while after it, shared what happened on our side of the warehouse. I...it's something she's going to remember that's for sure. But she'll get past it...I know she will! We all will, it'll just take some time and lots of support. I'm there for her, and anyone else who needs it. It's...all I know how to do, you know?"
PostPosted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 7:35 pm

"I think you might be right in that." He nodded, conceding that Scheelite working with the young woman would indeed be good for both of them.

"I think it's VERY much less about deciding it's 'all you know how to do.' which you know well is not the case, and very much 'all any of us CAN Do...Scheelite." He remarked with what he intended as a meaningful look.

"You had things you wanted to ask about as well?" He pressed carefully.

"I...dunno Zink. There's things I knew how to do, but now? I just dunno... I'll figure it out though, just need some time."

Scheelite shook it off, forcing that smile back onto his face.

"I'm...going to need stuff to do, if the General Queens grant me my request. One thing I wanted to work on, when I get back to patrolling... is uh...well I'm gonna try to keep an eye out for anyone who might be useful to us! But I'm going to try and keep my ears open for any other information, so I can hand it back to you. Would that be helpful? You've always been so awesome at keeping notes on everything, and if I can help at all I'd love to!"

Feeling useful. It was something Demy had needed back when he was just Zac's roommate and they had first started on their little plans. He needed it just as much, if not more now as well.
