Demy was on one of his ecstatic moods from hell. Several had noticed a lack of enthusiasm from the boy in recent weeks, or at least a distinct change in the level of crack-happy that usually made up his personality. A few things could still bring it out.
Tacos were one of them.
Zac had given him a few details. Mostly that there was someone he might be interested in trying to get for his team, and that said person would like to meet him for tacos. That had caught his attention before 'team', because really he was still struggling with this whole leadership thing. Sure, he could go out and kick some a** on his own! But...could he lead a team effectively? Especially following in the steps of General Linarite's rule of Team Enterprise, and Zinkenite's own rule over their personal plans at school? They were big shoes to fill, but damnit he was determined to have one of the very best teams in the Negaverse.
Today, however, there were tacos. He had gotten there early, mostly from a need to get out and do -something- with the sudden renewed energy he had, and the overwhelming excitement of the little meeting he was having. It really felt like a step in the right direction. He had successfully conned Paragonite onto his team and into the number one position, and now this? Man, it felt good.
And, OF COURSE, tacos.
For now he lingered outside the TexMex restaurant that had been picked as a prime meeting spot. It was easy to pick him out. Crazy blonde wearing glowsticks in the middle of the day and layers of color? Yep. That was Demy. Also known as Captain Scheelite.

The details where scarce, his name was Demy, blond, probably glowing like a rave in a bottle. This description it turned out was very accurate as he found Demy bouncing up and down where they agreed to meet via a few texts earlier that week.
"Demy I take it? Zac said you would stick out like a firefly when I got here."
Where Demy was glowing like a lightbulbe Lorelei was wearing a pair of jeans and a light hoodie, a small notebook bag tossed over her shoulder. Quite the opposites in taste, but still, Zac did warn her...
"I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long did I? I didn't think you would be here so early. Do we have a table?"

He whirled around at hearing his name, a wide grin already (or still) on his face. She was here! That meant that tacos were soon to follow! "Yep! Name's Demy, and sticking out like a firefly is something I do best! Can't help it if I look pretty awesome man." At least it made meeting up with him easy.
"Nah don't worry about it. I was getting kinda bored being cooped up at Hillworth so I left early to come meet you." And, you know, he was excited. "They're expecting us! So yeah, they've got a table waiting for us. Ready to go in?" Dear god he -hoped- so. To further prove the point he went over to the door and held it open for her to go ahead in.

"Sticking out like a firefly? My are you sure that's safe in a city full of crazy costumed monsters?" She asked with a teasing grin. Of course they were safe from some of the monsters, the Senshi were a problem, but she wasn't too horribly worried about it.
"Rho's apartment isn't much better, I'm not allowed to stay on the Crystal Campus, but I think I might move there later, maybe then I could actually meet people instead of being cooped up at Rho's with a stupid curfew."
Walking through the door she couldn't help but grin, regardless of what Zac said, Demy clearly had some manners and wasn't nearly as bad as he sometimes seemed to hint at, hyper yes, but it was a nice change compared to Zac's constant business like attitude.
"You got a table and everything? Is this manners, or are you just eager for the tacos I promised?"

"Nahhh, not worried about the monsters! What would they want with little old me hrmm?" Once she was inside, he moved in behind her and went to lead the way to their saved seat. Oh yeah, he'd been here a while.
"A...little bit of both? Though yeah, tacos? -Great- motivation." They were at their seat in no time, at which point Demy forgot manners and quickly plopped his butt into a seat. He was still grinning. A lot.
"If this is your idea of getting acquainted I think we're gonna get along -great-!"

"They might mistake you for a colorful chew toy one day? That's probably the only thing they might think of someone bouncing around lit up like you are." Curving through the crowd she let him take the lead to the booth before taking her own seat across from him. "Well Zac did mention you loved them, and I haven't had Mexican in a while. So we both win; and I'll just pretend it's you being well mannered so I can tease Zac about how nice you were later."
Settled into her seat she started to flip through the plastic menu looking up with another smirk, "I know how to play nice with people, and you seem nice enough, so I think we'll get along fine." Scanning the menu again she paused once more, "So, what do you have planned for this 'team' Zac didn't give me any details about it."

"Teasing Zac hrm? Don't tease him -too- much, or he'll get more irritated than normal when -I- come along to tease him." It was good-natured enough, not like he was up screaming to not touch his boyfriend. Yet. He hid his face behind his menu a moment to scan it before addressing her question.
"Plans for the team? It's gonna be the most awesome team since Enterprise, that's what. Further details....I dunno." He shrugged. Really, a captain not knowing the details of his -own team-? Odd. "We're going to do our job, do it the best and kick some major a** along the way. Sound cool?"

"I try not to give him too much trouble, I'd like him to actually continue talking to me rather then shunning me for life with the worlds shortest and coldest shoulder." It was true, Zac was one of the few people she liked around the city still and though she loved to bother him she would be miserable if he blatantly stopped talking to her.
"Do our job and do our best? To be honest outside of 'collection' I'm not sure what my job entitles.. Zac has taken to calling me an 'artillery cannon' with what I am and all." The last part was said slightly hushed, talking about being super powered terrorist in public was not exactly kosher, thankfully the restaurant was busy and they wouldn't be heard.

"Yeaaah...Zac's a little -too- good at the whole cold shoulder thing. It's brutal. For being such a little guy he has one hell of a big attitude huh?"
At the mention of artillery cannon, Demy had to sigh a bit. The blonde leaned forward so it was easier to talk to her in hushed tones. "To be perfectly honest, I'm...not exactly sure what, in general, your...type, does for our...organization. But under my watch you'll be like another lieutenant? Not...-exactly- one, since there are differences, and not as high rated as my number one of course but...well you get the idea. I'm not gonna throw you around and call you ammo or something, that's the main point."

"Well thankfully I haven't gotten the full brunt of it, just a little flash of it when I make him frumpy. I don't plan on ever getting him mad enough to justify full on rage."
As Demy leaned in Lore could only laugh softly, didn't know what they did? Pretty much the same thing as everyone else; gather starseed's follow the Queen's orders, and help the negaverse reach it's goal of crushing the Moon Kingdom. "Our type, simply put, is the same as your own. We get the starseeds, we obey the Queen, we all live happily ever after when this war is over. Now the difference between me," she paused long enough to point to her self before placing the finger in the middle of his forehead, "And you, is I'm a Senshi, one who doesn't want to kill you." Leaning back in her seat she shrugged, "I'm not ammo, like Zac said, I'm a cannon of magical power, you point I shoot, and we win. In theory..." Her mind lingered on a battle not long ago with a girl able to spill poisoned cloud around, it didn't end well and she didn't like to talk about it.
Glancing away from Demy she waved to the waiter before requesting her water and a taco salad for herself, after Demy took his order she leaned in again continuing the slightly whispered conversation. "So when will I meet this number one of yours? And what do you have planned for us to do exactly?"

For a rare moment, Demy was struck silent. There was a Senshi poking him in the head, in a public place, speaking about how she was a Senshi who didn't want to kill him. Well.....this was both good, and slightly unnerving. At the very least it wasn't boobs in his face and he could be thankful for that.
He recovered long enough to give his own order, give himself a few more moments of silent thinking, and then finally opened his mouth again. "One thing that's good to note...Zac and I don't exactly think alike. Don't get me wrong, my partner is -totally awesome-, but weeee...sometimes have totally different ways of seeing something. Also uh, the whole cannon thing? I know how that goes. Afterall, I am kinda like Zee's cannon." Was, really. When they were lieutenant partners they were quite the team. Now they both had their own teams to run so it wasn't -quite- the same, but it was working out.
"We'll have a team meeting so you can meet my number one! And...for right now we're just going to train, and gather what starseeds we can. More elaborate plans will come later, promise."

If only Lorelei could have known what was running through poor little Demy's head at that moment as she poked his head. She would have road it to the bank giving her captain so much trouble he would have probably preferred to yank her starseed out. (Assuming that is he was as wild as Zac warned which, which he wasn't wild he was a bit out of left field none the less.)
"I've noticed that right away, Zac I usually have to pester into talking with me, or stalk him down. You on the other hand are a bit more, I don't know casual?" She grinned at the cannon comment, "Well you don't get to be the cannon anymore sadly, I think being a captain it's typically your job to fire them rather then be them."
Not long after the meals arrived and Lorelei would pause in conversation to enjoy her salad before continuing to talk 'team business'. "Essentially right now; no different then what I do every other night anyway? How long till we all meet and really get something set up and under way?"
She wanted plans, she wanted action, if this team was going to be as awesome as Demy promised, well, it needed an awesome plan.

"I was always the talker. Zee's the schemer, I'm the one out doing stuff. It worked well, and I guess that kinda stuck with me. And...I still get to be the cannon, sometimes. I get to be both now. I'm special."
Food seemed to further escalate Demy's happy mood. Tacos. Tacos. Tacos tacos tacos. Demy wasn't much for conversation until he had eaten his first taco. THEN he felt he could continue their talk.
"For now, yes, do what you've been doing. I'll get in touch with Heather about a full team meeting and get it set up. Within the week, hopefully? As long as school doesn't completely bury me in work." It felt weird still being worried about school. As much as he wanted to just drop out, he couldn't. Then he'd lose Zac as a roommate and that'd be terrible.
"Forgive me for not having all the details right this second, I'm getting used to this whole thing still.

"I am on the other hand just me, I haven't really had anyone to work with I've been doing stuff on my own for the most part." She made a face sticking a tongue out at the boy. "No way, I'm totally more special; I have magic!" Of course it was nothing but teasing, though he said it himself, she wasn't part of the 'normal' system of rank, she had always taken to that as meaning she was sometimes above the ranking rules and special in her own way. Even if Zink said otherwise.
While Demy was silence by his meal Lorelei took to her own before nodding at his suggested time frame. "That sounds good enough to me, I should be able to make the time to meet with you guys no problem." Taking a few more bites she paused to wave her fork at Demy and his apology. "Forgiven, your not as bad as Zac tried to make me think, he was almost trying to scare me I bet so I wouldn't work with you and in turn have a direct line to finding and bugging him even more... I think if that was his plan it backfired. As for getting used to it all, that makes two of us, I've yet to work with a team till now."

"You are not the only one with magic. I have it too. There are others! Everyone's special in their own way, that's my philosophy, but relying on things like magic won't get you far with me. Respect, and teamwork will. ...And having fun at times. We -will- be having fun too." It was not something he would allow to be questioned. Working was good. Rising in the ranks was good. But god damnit they would hang back and have parties and whatever too. All work and no play made a -very- upset Demy. Which in turn unleashed the scary Schee that Zac had tried to warn her against.
"Pffft, Zee tried to warn you I was bad? Nah, it's only because I know how to push his buttons. Plus....well. You haven't met uh..'him'. You will in time." This also wasn't something to be questioned OR talked about in public. By 'him' he had meant his Negaverse-persona, and a knowing wink from captain to future teammate was all that was said on the subject. She'd find out, sooner or later.
"Working on a team is awesome. You'll have your own free time too, of course, but if you don't mind patrolling with me that'd be pretty good too. I just want to see how you handle things...gotta be sure my team's -safe- ya know."
