Tali was on the roam once more, her candy pink eyes scanning for any sign of life in the inky darkness which consumed the city. Tali was one of those girls who always got what she wanted and when her mind was made up there was little to no chance of changing it. This time... she might have got in a little over her head but there was no stopping her.

She had been looking out for days now and finally her spying and corner stalking had paid off. As people ran passed her a smirk grew on her gloss covered lips. Clearly there were running from something and in Destiny City that usually meant one thing and one thing only.

She started to run in the direction the crowed where trying to escape from, her pink shoes hitting the ground one after another every step showing a increasing eagerness to get to her destination. She soon skidded around a corner coming to a fast halt; a satisfied look coming onto her face. BINGO! She had spotted one! ( how could you miss a costume like THAT! )

She panted a little and stepped forward, she had got here faster than Greece Lightning and now she was suffering for it, it must have only been one maybe two blocks but at the same time she must have broke some kind of speed record so of cause she felt like her lungs where collapsing.

She straightened herself up seeing a vibrant figure wonder around the corner, the place was deserted, no one wanted to stick around to be caught in the cross fire but that was excellent for her, she did not want people to know what she was up to after all; looks like he was the victor. PERFECT! Maybe he will be in a good mood after his win.

“Hey! You with the pointy hair and shiny things stop!”

She called out before setting off once more skidding around the corner and going full pelt forward going straight into the back of the captain and landing not so gracefully on her round backside. She pouted and looked up, her hair covering one of her eyes.

“Owie.”

She meeped before pushing herself back up and taking a look behind her to make sure there was no dirt on her bum, patting it down and then looking at the brightly coloured character, blowing her hair out of her eyes. Great, all she needed was to look like she had soiled herself... how unattractive damn you gravity. DAMN YOU TO HELL! She pointed towards the Captain looking straight at him with her other hand rested on her hip.

“Yea you, Rockstar. I need to talk to you. Like I REALLY need to talk to you right now.”

For the most part, Scheelite was having a good night. He had kicked the butt of a Senshi, gathered some energy, and really the only injuries he had received were the usual aches and bruises of a typical fight. Not a bad night's work!

It was when he tried to leave that this night turned into something rather odd.

He could ignore the pointy hair and shiny things call. Actually, he did ignore it. He had better things to be doing than listening to whoever it was trying to call him down. Besides, it wasn't like it was another Senshi, nothing was going off on the little power radar in his head.

What he couldn't ignore was the sudden collision with his backside. Scheelite had to stumble forward to keep his balance, while at the same time spinning around to face his ******** yeah, that was graceful. Once his composure was regained (somewhat), he brushed himself off and simply gave a confused stare at the sudden finger in his face.

Um....ooookaaaaay....

"You uh...need to talk to me?"
He had brightened a bit at being called rockstar. At least a grin was slowly taking over the confused look on his face. It was a start!
"About what? I'm not in the mood to talk about Senshi unless you want to talk about how I totally kicked that one's a**. We could talk about how you really shouldn't run into the people you want to talk to. OR I could give you an autograph, you -did- call me rockstar after all!"
By the time he was done talking he was -all- grins. Actually, he looked downright pleased. While some of the remarks had a bit of bite to them he seemed mostly harmless.

For a member of a dark army, at least.

“Depends on what you want to sign; cannot say I brought a pen.”

She looked at him and raised a eyebrow, what a odd boy. He seemed to like being called 'Rockstar', maybe it stroked his ego or something; after all he had a guitar as his weapon did he not? She smiled and put her hands behind her back walked forward slightly to her a closer look. She had never met a Nega before and she was excited, it was like looking at something shiny and new in s shop window.

“Just because I did not know what else to call you, what’s your name glow sticks? I am Tali.”

She introduced herself, hoping he would do the same; she cocked her head to the side like a owl and wondered around the Captain in a circle. She was curious; she would not have imagined a solider to be so bright. She smiled and bobbed around to be in front of him once more. She would be lying if she said that uniform was not to die for!

“Hmm, yea I missed the fight. Wish I had not, it seems like it would be fun to watch a Senshi get their but kicked, power puffs in skirts throwing about sparkles. I never really liked them.”

Sparkles and tiara’s where so last year, I mean what where they little girls play dress up? They might look cute ( well some think so, Tali finds them very tacky ) but she swore they were like Furbies. FLUFFY ON THE OUTSIDE BUT EVIL ON THE INSIDE! Man those things where like super creepy! They where going to take over the world one day whilst everyone was too busy concentrating on the battles going on between he Scouts and the Army. Now would that not be the cherry on the cake?

“Hey I would have not run into you if you waited, anyways I think I came of worse!”

She pouted folding her arms, it was his fault! He should have kept moving or at least have turned around. Anyway it was her who landed on her butt so he had no right to complain. Nope, not a one. She shook her head and smiled when she could finally answer him to why she was here. Leaning forward and looking up at him with big bright eyes. Her face much like that of a puppy dog.

“That’s right I need to talk to you, now down to business. I want to join your team.”

She stated with a large smile, a girl like giggle ending her sentence. She gave a peace sign with one of her hands. She was not mad, I can swear that. She just acted strange; she was always on a high. The world was an awesome place where everything went her way and it showed in how she acted. This was her story and she was as sure as hell going to write it the way she wanted to.

This was the next chapter; she would make sure of it - She wanted it more than anything. She threw the Captain a wink and stuck out her tongue playfully.

“So what you say?”

"Scheelite. Captain Scheelite, of the Dark Kingdom."
The blonde bristled slightly at being walked around like some object to examine. He turned with her, not really willing to turn his back on someone he didn't really know. Sure, she didn't have a dangerous energy aura eminating from her, but that didn't mean anything! She could be some super crazy powerful being in disguise. Afterall, he used to be penpals with a magician, and not one of the hokey ones seen on TV. Anything was possible in this city.

"I didn't wait because as a very important Captain I have places to be, things to turn in, reports to file, lieutenants to train, you know. Important Captain like things."
An arrogant smirk crossed his face as the blonde moved to strap the guitar to his back. For all she knew it was just a normal everyday guitar, maybe he was heading somewhere to play! If she (or anyone else, for that matter) made the mistake of touching it though...ZZZAAAAAAP. Heh heh heh.

The next statement made acid eyes widen just slightly. Join...his team?
"You uh....want to join my team?"
Okay, it wasn't everyday that someone came up to Scheelite and said they wanted to join his team. Actually, it never happened. Ever. So it was just a -bit- surprising.

Though...wait.

She talked about how fun it'd be to see a Senshi get their butt kicked, and how she never really liked them...
"Wait, you mean join the Negaverse?"
Which was also something that had never happened. He really had never heard of -anyone- approaching an officer and asking to join. Hell, the only reason he was here was because Charonite felt so inclined to nab him! Sometimes he wondered if they just grabbed whoever was around in Hillworth to add to the numbers of the army. Hrm.

"I can't..."
Wait. If he flat out admitted he couldn't pull people into the ranks on his own she'd probably walk away and he wouldn't get credit for this. But if -he- arranged for her to meet someone who could corrupt her...then he'd get credit, right? Right! ...He hoped.
"I mean I can't, until you tell me just what you have to offer the Negaverse. We can't just take in anybody."
Sometimes the Negaverse disagreed. Afterall, they took in -him-.

"So...why should we accept you, hrmmm?"

“Because they are winning, even if it not the case people are starting to whisper of the angelic heroines and hero’s which are making you all look like fools.”

She stated folding her arms, it was true people where starting to respect the dark forces less and less mainly because of the mass amount of powered pompoms which were using the city as a playground. She always wondered why people rushed to such conclusions, I mean none of them actually knew what the sides where fighting for. Who said it was the Senshi who were the good guys? There must be a reason behind the actions of the Negaverse, she highly doubted that such a well organised operation would be doing this for recreational purposes.

She tilted her head, the cocky smile on her lips gaining size as she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath.

“Truth be told, I know something big is going on, something that might one day change the world. I do not just want to be a little girl who saw it happen. I want to be something more, something that I could never achieve living a normal life. Have you never felt like you could do so much more with yourself? If you where just given the chance?”

She asked, she had always felt like she was something extra special. Like deep down she had all this potential that was yet to be tapped into. She saw this as her chance to become something a lot greater than she could achieve on her own. Her worst nightmare was coming in and out of life without making a impact.

She wanted to make sure her name was passed down for generations to come. Was that such a bad thing?

She opened her bright eyes once more and went on to look at the vibrant character, cocking her head to one side and flicking her hair behind her shoulder.

“Well Captain, I am sure with your experience you can see a promising new recruit. So you can be the judge of if I am or am not what you are looking for. However since I am yet to be zapped, I would say I am doing quite well don’t you?”

She asked with another large and confident smirk.

"Hint number one, saying the side you want to join look like fools is -not- a good way to get into the organization. You have no idea what goes on in the dark of the city, and I do hope you haven't deluded yourself into thinking you do."
Scheelite scoffed, really now, fools? The city as a whole hadn't been too impressed with -either- side. Of course there were those who sided with one faction or the other, but for the most part each of the powered individuals running through the town were seen as terrorists. The blonde remembered when he had been so blissfully unaware of just what was going on around him.

A little over a year really could make a difference in one's life. He had just been a lowly student back then, and now? Now he was a Captain, one being asked about joining the Negaverse. The times they are a changing~

"There is no might. We -will- be changing the world, already have started to really. The Senshi can fight and 'protect' all they want but they can fall just like any other. I've seen them die, assisted in killing them even. Are you ready to do that? To kill in the name of the greater good, and possibly even be killed yourself? While I DO like a party and having a good time, there's business involved too. We do what our Queen tells us to do, no questions asked."

Which wasn't...entirely true. Scheelite remembered a time when he was quite full of questions and often asked the higher-ups, specifically Nealite. But Nealite was gone, and their new queen wasn't quite as eager to assist them. You did what you were told when you were told to do it, that's what good officers did, and Scheelite was determined to be one of the best.

"I know I was destined for greatness, and the Negaverse is definitely helping me achieve that goal, do you feel like you can face the responsibilities? Quotas to fill, patrols to do, Senshi asses to kick. You learn and you learn fast or you get taken out of this war without making a blip in the record books. I've lost friends. Powerful friends, those who could have easily wiped -me- off the face of the planet if they so wanted. Yet they themselves lost their lives."

Despite the seriousness there was still a sense of joy or pride in his words. Scheelite wasn't capable of remaining too overly serious for too long (really, it hurt his head to try!). It was a warning, and a sharing of experience. The loss of Nealite, Charonite, and Wiseman had struck him hard, left an imprint for the rest of his life. But once he had gotten over the utter despair he had found something else. Determination. They were no longer in this war, so he'd just fight on in their memory. To do anything else was a disgrace to their memories.

"Just because I haven't ripped out your starseed doesn't mean anything civilian."
He offered his own wide smirk right back to the girl.
"Though I WOULD like some new recruits...just means I can throw another party."
That was business as usual with him.

“I am not scared Captain, if that’s what you are asking.”

She really wasn’t, she was stupid not to be however it was not in her character to be scared. She though – no she knew – nothing bad could ever happen to her. She felt like she was on the top of the world and nothing could bring her down, not now not ever. He seemed to be going on about some business stuff, she was paying attention but at the same time she wished he would skip to the fun parts. Before everything got all dull. “Tell me then, what is the greater good? Tell me what the cameras don’t. What is the Negaverse fighting for?”

The media was always so one sided, she wanted to know the things what others turned a blind eye to. This was getting interesting, especially with the mention of a Queen. As always Tali herd what she wanted to. She had to admit the Civilian comment put a pout on her face. She was going to make a breaking her heart comment however she resisted for the time being, she wanted to know more about this Queen. “Oooh so they is a Queen? Interesting, what is she like?” She asked, her face dropped, rip her what from who now? She tilted her head looking very confused. Putting a finger on her chin and raising a eyebrow.

“Starseed? You seem to be forgetting this is all knew to little old me Rockstar.” She smiled and shook her head before covering her mouth, remembering he just said you do not ask questions. “Woopsie, I guess I am asking questions, however since I am not a recruit yet it does not really count.”

She said in a almost comical tone. She could not be serious either, maybe it was one thing they shared in common. “A party? This just keeps getting better, as long as there is some funky tunes and colourful beverages I will be happy. Do I get a funky costume like yours?” She asked with a small chuckle, pointing to one of his glow sticks with a very smug look.

"The Negaverse is fighting to put it's Queen in her rightful place as Queen of the Earth. It's inevitable we'll succeed in that goal, but hey...more help never hurt. As for the Queen you'll find out when it comes time to meet her."
The grin spread back across his face as he took a few steps backwards. Green eyes roved their surroundings, mapping out a plan to leave when he was ready to, in the most grand way possible, of course. Showoff.

"Starseeds, pretty much it's this little gem that's inside of you, and if I yank it out you die. Got it?"
The grin spread a bit further, Scheelite locking his hands behind him as he continued to study her. Hrm...

"Well...I'll put in a good word for you. Not my decision to let in newbies and such, buuuut I do have a friend that's a general...so I'll see what I can do..."
It was better than nothing, at least? It wasn't like he was lying, he DID know a general...but he didn't want to flat out admit he had not the slightest clue how to bring anyone into the Negaverse, and the -real- reason he needed to go talk to a general was to ask.

Details, details.
