hobbies: running: It can’t do anything for her anymore, but it still sets her mind at ease. The weight of her body is... different now. Maybe it’s some of Metallia’s grace imparted on her, or something, or maybe it’s just the consequence of having her organs crystallized -- and she does it in the Rift pretty often, because doing it in Destiny City would invite a lot more trouble (Ascended General Chrysocolla draws a lot more attention than mousy civilian Poppy Anania ever did). But she likes to run. It’s not free running, it’s nothing agile, it’s just her feet and the ground and no outside intrusion.
hunting down traitors: Ascension makes the body fragile. She knows this. But it can’t change and refine her so fully that she forgets how to fight. There’s a lot of traitors out there, admittedly! But she has a lot of free time.
negaverse history: She’s not particularly interested in grand stories about space and past lives and reincarnations. What she is interested in is the Negaverse, in Destiny City and outside it; officers who’ve gone missing, gone dark, been reassigned, etc. All those stories that get passed down here-and-there until five years, ten years later they’ve faded, at best, to myth. There was a queen before Laurelite, wasn’t there, someone who lost Metallia’s favor? General-Queen Apatite, who died when the White Moon broke into Negaspace -- what events happened to that girl, to get her there? Those General-Sovereigns who were gone before Chrysocolla’s time, who shaped the way the Negaverse in Destiny City organizes itself: who were they? Every General who’s simply stopped reporting in and never been confirmed dead, traitor, or otherwise: Chrysocolla wants to know their name and their face. Sometimes people come back, after all.
serialized tv: No, seriously, she has a lot of free time. Right now she’s into Yellowjackets, though.
virtues: direct: If she has a goal to accomplish, she's going to get it done. Politeness and social niceties have a lot of uses, but she knows how to get straight to the point: she's not a nobody, and she should own her power, rank-wise and otherwise. It's not that Chrysocolla brute forces things -- it's that her first thought is not go around, is all.
organized: She doesn’t really like mess. Clutter, trash, loose ends (social or otherwise), any of that; Chrysocolla doesn’t like it, and she’ll actively take her time to clear it up when it happens. Everything has a place, and she knows what and where everything is. She’s also not particularly prone to doing things chaotically or spontaneously -- things have a time and place. She’s got a color-coded planner and everything! There’s a level of organization on her personal notes about people that’s a little scary to behold, even. She runs her life on a routine timeblock schedule and her time management skills are, frankly, incredible; she would rather die than turn up to a meeting without being prepared, and she works hard to make sure it stays that way.
loyal: She was like this even before Ascending, but that’s really put emphasis on it. In the grand scheme of things she's more of a follower, not a leader, and works on the same rough mental framework as people think dogs do; she is helplessly, bone-deep loyal to the Negaverse, and to Queen Laurelite, and to Metallia. (And to most of the General-Sovereigns, with... one exception.) She’s always happy for an order to follow, a direction to go, and she is very good at following orders.
calm: She used to be moody, but it turns out burning out her mortality did a pretty good number on that; that perpetual irritation is still there, but it's fainter, now. Not to say she's emotionless: as befits the senshi of Moods, she's kept a good amount of her emotional register even like this. She manages a solid level of serenity most of the time, even when unhappy, and it's an immensely rare sight to see her at extremes.
flaws: childish: In a lot of ways, she’s always going to be emotionally fifteen, with all the lack of self-awareness and self-control that entails. And don’t forget that petulant, childish selfishness -- her things are her things, and she doesn’t take well to other people trying to influence or damage them. Unfortunately, this extends to her things, her subordinates (even former ones), and the people she likes, even if said people don’t really agree (or agree at all) with her ideals and desires.
zealot: Metallia comes first and foremost above everything. The Negaverse is the only thing that really exists or matters to Chrysocolla, and she doesn’t try to pretend otherwise or act like it’s anything moral - there’s nothing moral here. They’re all monsters once you spend enough time under Her wing. It’s all for Metallia. She made herself into this, after all; it took out all her doubts along with all her mortal blood and bone. If someone above her says jump, she won’t ask how high, she’ll estimate the best answer to it and do it before getting any clarification. If someone above her says cut your arm off... Ascension scrubbed out all her doubts. She’ll only hesitate a little while.
cruel: Even her kindness is a twisted thing. Chrysocolla likes hurting people; she’s good at it, she understands it. There’s a lot of things she’s not very good at! But this is one of the things she can manage, and there are so many people she wants to hurt these days: she’ll never have an officer’s weapon but she’s figured out how to twist the knife anyway. Finally there’s something she’s better at than her enemies.
gaslight gatekeep girlboss: As far as Chrysocolla sees things, it's very simple: there are, of course, a few members of Order she's still fond of. People she knows dragging back to the Negaverse would break them. She doesn't want to hurt them: she still cares, even like this. She doesn't want to see them hurt or to do them any harm. So what she's going to do is try to kill all their friends. If the people she likes would stop putting themselves into dangerous situations, she'd stop having to generate reasons why being there makes it actively more dangerous for everyone they care about! But they keep going out and participating in the war, and if she could she'd keep them on a shelf, but she can't. So don't they know it's their fault she's doing this? She doesn't want to hurt them like this, but they're giving her no choice.
physical description eyes: Low-saturation blue-grey. Perpetually underlaid by dark circles. Shape-wise, genetically influenced by her Southeast Asian ancestry. hair: High-saturation teal with a 3A texture; usually parts her hair down the middle, giving it two large distinct curly bangs. Hair length varies from chin to shoulder depending on the recency of a haircut, but is usually kept down or in a low ponytail (when length permits). face: Round, soft; when she was younger it seemed like she was taking a long while to lose some baby fat, but no, that's just her face. Occasionally wears stud diamond earrings, and skin is mostly naturally clear. Mixed Cambodian-Dominican. skin tone:This. body type: Short (5 foot 2) and chubby. eternal sailor attack: Emotional Detachment range: 20ft radius (initial cast) targets: All enemies in range when attack is cast effects: Targets' current emotion at time of cast is completely nulled; for the duration of the magic they are locked into an emotionless state unless this magic is dispelled early, similar to the way Ascended senshi can seem to be lacking emotions. That current emotion is instead 'externalized' and transformed into damage: someone who was angry beforehand will begin to burn, someone who was sad will feel as if they're drowning and their lungs are feeling with water, etc. -- there's not a 1:1 mood:damage type correlation, so players can choose what they'd like (e.g. envy could be anything from a strangling feeling to 'burning' with envy to lightning damage). This damage is illusory, but can be retained after the attack ends at player discretion.
For each target currently affected by this attack, Chrysocolla gains a small, intangible, glowing wisp of light which is a 'relevant' color to the affected mood; these float around her wrists, like bracelets. These are almost purely aesthetic, and serve primarily as a way for her to keep track of when the attack ends, as the orbs evaporate when the magic ceases. length: 45s uses: One

eternal sailor attack: Chrysocolla's Prism action: Sailor Chrysocolla incants the name of her attack; an iridescent 'film' streams out from her brooch and hangs over the AOE of the magic, giving things and people inside a slight stained-glass effect (purely visual). Everything inside this AOE seems distorted. effect: Amplifies current emotions of targets to a fever pitch; the sort of fear that could (if natural) cause heart attacks, blind berserker rage, etc. Lasts for 60 seconds and cannot be shaken off fully, although moving out of the AOE will reduce effects. limitations: This attack can be used once per battle. This magic has a 15-foot range in a sphere, originating from Chrysocolla herself, and remains as an aftereffect in the air after cast for 60 seconds. Unlike her other attacks, Chrysocolla's Prism is not target-based; the zone affected by her magic remains and will affect anyone who steps into it, besides Chrysocolla herself, until its time runs out; leaving the AOE will reduce the effects of the magic (i.e. from a blind, maddened frenzy to being pissed off), but will not remove it entirely.
Sailor Chrysocolla took a mineral name in October of 2015; prior to this, she was Sailor Warhol. She carries no connections to this name and will no longer respond to it.

virtues: sharp: Poppy has a talent for holding multiple things in her head at the same time, regardless of the details -- she can keep good lists, if she puts her mind to it, and she has a relatively good visual memory too. She's almost never forgotten anyone's name after hearing it once, if she has a face to put with it. This applies to drawing connections and thinking on her feet as well; she may not be a genius problem-solver (or any sort of genius, really), but she makes (and keeps!) realizations fast if she has enough information to draw the connecting lines. What's the real difference between 'remembering the names of people you met three years ago', 'lying', and 'determining a plan of physical attack mid-fight'? Not a whole lot, apparently - or at least there's no difference to her. They all use the same parts of her mind.. and she's very, very good with those parts.
organized: The best way to make sure you can remember where things are is to always put them in the same place. Most bits of Poppy's life are routine and structured, variation only implemented if there's a day's warning; nothing is ever messy, nothing is ever disorganized. She doesn't lose things.
best foot forward: Appearances and first impressions are very important, and aside from squabbling with people she detests Poppy really does make an effort to always come off as an organized, calm, competent young woman and to make her peers & compatriots look equally good. As Chrysocolla she's not really supposed to kill her coworkers, so she won't intentionally, but if they don't get back up it's not her fault they're too weak. Poppy doesn't have very many friends and doesn't really want any, either; she's long since exhausted her ability to care, because that was a vestige of a weak and spineless girl, and that girl is very much dead.
straightforward: It's her way or the highway. If she's taking orders or being instructed by someone who explicitly knows what they're doing, that's one thing, but Poppy doesn't take well to being talked over or undermined; if she gives directions or asks for something, she expects people to at least make their best possible attempt to follow her request. And, sure, she could try to scheme or plan... but none of that comes naturally to her. The best way through a problem is literally through the problem, according to Poppy, and the virtues of complexity are completely lost on her.
bloodthirsty: Call it Chaos-poisoning or call it a lust for violence, it is what it is. What better way is there to destress from the worries of the world than committing gratuitous violence? Drifting apart from her sister or being unsure where her commanding officer's gone - they can both have the pain they cause in her chest salved by some judicious applications of cruelty. Poppy has anger issues lurking just under the surface, and the more she hides them as a civilian, the more they come out to play as Chrysocolla.
childish: Poppy was corrupted into the Negaverse by force when she was fifteen, and to some degree she's always going to be; she has the emotional maturity of a girl barely in high school, not the emotional maturity of an adult old enough to drink. She's easily frustrated, petulant, struggles with long-term abstraction, and desperately craves validation from anyone she respects -- or anyone at all, really.

Negaverse Archives: Know your enemy, but know your friends too - there are so many officers who either came and went before Chrysocolla's time, or left the city, and she loves to find any information about them she can. Even the enemy databases, fallen into disuse as they are now, can tell so many stories about how this war has been going on before her and will go on long after she's gone. Maybe someday those living-but-disappeared Officers will come back to Destiny City, and she'll know them by their uniform and their weapon; the Negaverse is so much bigger than anyone alone, and these are the people who she may never meet, but they were important all the same. Foreign Languages: She's not particularly good at them (mostly the practical application of knowledge part), but Poppy has a deep-held fondness for linguistics and the mechanics thereof. That's all she wants. HOBBIES Learning Languages: Poppy isn’t quite sure why she knows American Sign Language, as Ivy’s acquisition of it was tied to a family member, but it fascinates her. With free time, Poppy loves to look up other languages and teach herself what she can of them; she must have learned ASL to communicate with someone, right? Well, if some people have trouble with English, it’s rude to make them speak it! She wants to be helpful, and to be completely honest, the different noises are fascinating on their own.

Whatever happens to her is making her better and stronger, and the Negaverse has given her structure and strength. She trusts them. She loves them. If a superior tells Poppy to do something, in any field of life, she’ll obey without a second thought.
Calm: Up to a certain point, Poppy has lovely control over her emotions: she’s pleasantly neutral to be around and won’t fly off the handle at the drop of a hat. She’s a good mediator, tries not to let her emotions get in the way of the rest of her life, and tries not to let the bad things let her down. To a certain point, at least! When she hits that point, well, she’s just as aggressive and terrible as anyone else has the capability to be, and it all pours out. But she takes stock of her emotions and keeps them deep tight under a layer where they won’t ruin anything...until they overflow.
FLAWS Serious Anger Management Issues: Some people can stomach their anger and keep it down, keep it silent, keep it calm. But since Poppy’s corruption, especially in Senshi form...when she gets mad? She gets mad. Poppy is prone to shoving down any unkind feelings until they bubble over, and then her first reaction tends to be exceedingly aggressive until she gets all the ‘bad feelings’ out.
Shy: Poppy doesn’t know anyone at all, almost; she retains only a few scattered memories from the life of Ivy Sutors, and none at all from the life of Sailor Warhol. She’s terrified of social situations and speaking up, and is pretty content to just follow around behind people and listen in - it’s just that the moment she’s asked to be an active member of a conversation, she starts to get scared. She just wants to be tiny as a mouse and have nobody look at her; and she's okay with them talking, just don't talk about her or to her.
Clingy: Some things never change. If you show kindness or any mentorly feelings towards Poppy, she’ll be your plus-one, your hangers-on. She doesn't often remember her dreams, but who cares? Taking naps is a part of her routine, and she goes home from school and sleeps before doing any homework. In addition to that, she figured out very early on in life that people didn't nap as much as her -- but Ivy tends to remember her dreams! Ceramics -- Ivy's room has little jars and artpieces on every shelf. She's not a prodigy by any means, but she's been working with clay since she entered middle school: it was her relief from the endless maelstrom of everyone else. Every now and often, she turns out a masterpiece. (Unfortunately, she has kinda nasty hands as a result; her nails are uneven and clay is in her skin creases.) It's one of the few things she's ever asked her parents to buy her supplies for, and she regularly goes to any classes she can. Doesn't matter the age range: she'll work with her clay if she's surrounded by 50-year-olds or preschoolers. It's one of the things that makes her very happy.
ASL -- Ivy's aunt is Deaf, and to connect more with her extended family, Ivy has been working on teaching herself American Sign Language since she was eleven. She's semi-fluent: her vocabulary is ranging, and her expressiveness and classifiers are good, but her grammar...isn't great, since she's a solitary person and self-taught, and you can only learn so much! She won't make her friends sign at all and gets a bit embarrassed if she's called out on it, but she has a habit of signing while she speaks to emphasize a word; and is happy to teach if asked.

(Not) Kicking Them While They're Down -- Ivy refuses to capitalize off of someone else's flaws or failings to help herself out. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, right? Help out people in need, and don't use them as vantage points for advancement, and you'll be a good person. It's things as little as giving someone their pen back that you really like, and things as big as refusing to kill because you don't want to die. She doesn't believe there's good in everyone, nothing like that -- she just likes it good for herself, and hey, why make it hard for people?

Asides from the anxiety she brings on herself with postponing things, Ivy is pretty chill! Comes with sleeping all the time; it's hard to get to sleep when you're worried.

Flaws:
Lazy -- Ehhhhh, she'll do it later; such is the personal creed of Ivy Sutors. It's not that she doesn't want to do things, or that she doesn't want to help: she's just not very good at self-motivation. Even though Ivy knows she should do something, she can't bring herself to do it instead of goofing off. And then things get put off until the last minute, causing her anxiety and bad grades. She knows it's a self-destructive cycle but she can't stop, because things don't hold any real Immediacy for her until the very last minute. It'd be a great fantasy plot trait! Except she's a real person, and she almost failed out of her english class last year. It's not that her time management skills suck (although it is) -- it's mostly because Ivy has no initiative to do anything she doesn't especially want to do. And as of the last year or two, all she really wants to do is ceramics and sleep. Her argument is that she'd do things if she was rewarded for them: but, A), she wouldn't, and B), why should she be rewarded for things she ought to do anyways?
Socially Inept -- Ivy was homeschooled for the entirety of elementary, and her first real interaction with kids her age was middle school: unfortunately, middle school is the time period where everyone loses their ******** mind. Instead of trying to navigate the tangled webs of social statuses, Ivy decided it wasn't worth it at all and just never tried. TL;DR: Ivy is awful at reading social cues and is pretty clueless about group dynamics. Unless things are flat out stated, she just tends to ignore them; and unless pointed out, she rarely realizes that people have any connections beyond friendship. She doesn't get injokes, tends to take things at face value, and doesn't realize when it's an inappropriate moment to bring something up! Her parents tried to make it mandatory that she had to interact with people when she was homeschooled, ironically. They took her to Girl Scout meetings, free art classes, the park -- but she just kind of sat there and stared at people and never talked. They gave up the same year she entered middle school.
Shy -- she's not literally tiny, but! Ivy will put her head down and try to be unnoticeable if given the chance. She doesn't like being noticed. Sometimes people make fun of her, and she's learned that just staying small, staying quiet, and doing her own thing...might not make them go away, but it makes them easier to tolerate, at the very least. She is very afraid to voice her own opinions and tends to just sit there and stare at people, and rarely stands up for herself because it's too much effort. She just wants to sleep. Why expend the effort on something that she doesn't want to care about? Ivy is an easy target for any bullying because she's somewhat clueless but won't fight back at all. She refuses to voice her own opinions unless pressed, and rarely does anything social unless pressed: too many people looking at her! Nooo. She just wants to be tiny as a mouse and have nobody look at her and she's okay with them talking, just don't talk about her or to her.
