Chrysocolla stood outside the door, where she'd stood for a few minutes at this point, and swallowed to gather her thoughts again. She wasn't afraid of General Ashanite or anything - she'd never met him, what was there to be afraid of - but. Um. It was just that meeting anyone new, especially someone she was especially seeking out to speak to , was in and of itself an incredibly terrifying thing.
(And he had an office in the Negaverse's personal dimension place. Who had an office? Did they even get a cell connection in here? ...could she work on Powerpoints if she brought a laptop? Chrysocolla resolved to figure out that one at some future point. Maybe. Possibly.
She had an inkling she'd done it before, but all of those hours of Negaspace homework had kind of blended together anyways.)
One knock, two knocks -- and she clasped her hands together behind her back, winced, and immediately reclasped them in front of her. He was here. She knew he was here, she could feel his aura, and...that meant he'd felt hers awkwardly hanging out in front of his office for the past five minutes, didn't it.
What an incredible first impression. She had to resist the urge to bang her head on the wall.

Ashanite felt the eternal aura hovering outside his door, but he was, generally speaking, a fairly patient man, and so he was willing to wait for whomever it was to work up the courage to knock. It might, even, be a coincidence; he wasn't willing to rule that out.
So he worked on the report in front of him, absently ensuring it was at least reasonably detailed, and set it aside when he heard the knock on the door. He could have been an a**, he supposed, and told whoever it was to walk in, but he wasn't their superior officer or their school principal, so instead he stood up and opened the door.
"Ah, hello," he said, "I don't believe we're acquainted." He stepped aside to allow the Corrupt on the other side through. She was small, and she looked alarmingly young, but then, he was conscious of exactly how young Order recruited.
"Is there something I can help you with?"

Chrysocolla almost tripped over herself and had to put one hand out on the doorframe for balance - she looked rather embarrassed by that, but nowadays 'slightly embarrassed and a little annoyed' felt like it was becoming her new resting face. "Eternal Sailor Chrysocolla, General," she said, slowly straightening back to standing, "and, um. I mostly just wanted to meet you?" Her face flushed and she looked down, suddenly acutely aware of how terrible a reason that sounded like. "I, um - I haven't met someone else who was corrupted and who's hit third rank, so."
If a rippling void in the universe would have manifested and consumed her whole at that moment, she probably would have welcomed it.
