Elliott"I promise you," Elliott's stroll was surprisingly slow for the danger of the situation they were confronting. Nembus did not understand this, clustering even closer to Phaethon. "Their priorities are differing at this moment. If any of them turn their attention to us, we can vacate." Nembus' brow knit. Her voice came out as a quiet hiss. "How do you plan on doing that when," she gestured widely at the sky above her. Elliott tilted his head. "I am a Mauvian. I will keep your aura muted, and we'll find a way." Somehow. ******** this s**t," Hydor groused, walking alongside Ancha and her ... apparently talking Maine coon. Great, another Mauvian. Where was Faust when he needed him-- "And ******** you for dragging me out here."
She didn't drag him, but she did alert him to more things he was attempting to ignore. His life as a freelancer took up the bulk of his attention.
This? This wasn't worth it.
He didn't give much of a s**t about the planet. Maybe it was time for it to go.
Fulgurite, Corrupted Eternal of SpringsFulgurite had felt Faustite's pull. He tried his best to ignore it. What he couldn't ignore was the storm above that had summoned him out of his functional retirement. It was getting worse. If he believed what he browsed in the database, whatever it was planned to consume the planet in some literal or figurative way. That put his father at risk. That put his sister at risk. He ignored the pull, but he did go on his own, settling to mix into the crowd in hopes that no one could see him. All he needed to do was ... Help get rid of this threat. And then he could go home and once again seize being part of this ... mess. Hopefully he was nowhere near Nectaris or Cryolite.

Eternal KamacitePage 8 Anxious. Talking to Jasper and Lopezite. When Jasper jerked his arm away, Kamacite immediately withdrew his as well, his face flushing with embarrassment. He held his hands together, against his chest and out of the way. Maybe to prevent himself from reaching out a second time as he looked up at the Lieutenant with concern and guilt for startling him.
He shook his head when Jasper started to apologize, but was grateful that he seemed to relax a little.
“I didn’t mean to startle you. You looked upset,” he said quietly, and while he’d opened his mouth to answer whether he was alright or not, he saw another familiar face.
Did he eat anything recently? He thought he might have tried to eat something that Misha made for lunch, but couldn’t remember how much he managed to stomach. So he politely held his hands out for the energy bar and bottle of water, not wanting Lopezite to think he was ungrateful.
“You’re not interrupting. Thank you,” he said to Lopezite, and then “I’m okay,” he decided as he glanced up at Jasper. He felt guilty that he was glad he could hide beside both of them.
“Do you think the shields will hold? Even if it’s just once…?” he wondered, glancing back up at the sky.

Super Sailor Surtur of DesolationThe storm looked bleak, but they were as prepared as they could be. Almadel’s assistance meant they had a defense that they did not have before. They gave every ounce of energy they could. They planned and prepared for the inevitable.
And now they had to wait.
As the sky dripped with energy and light, Surtur spotted a familiar face.
“Ah! Rainier, my dear friend. Your presence brings me joy in these woeful times,” he said to her as he approached. He placed one hand on his chest, the other held out to the side, and he dipped into a shallow bow of greeting. There was nothing mocking in the gesture, and the delight on his features was sincere, despite the dark circles that crept under his eyes from lack of sleep.
“While I do not believe this is the end, standing beside a friend is how I would prefer to return to the Cauldron. But, it shall not be tonight, agreed?”

Reims, Knight of GanymedePage 2 Realizing he made the worst decision. Talking to Dering with Ephesus and Amarynthos. Noticing Malus.
He spotted Malus when he arrived with Michel and Dering, and made sure to make eye contact with him, no matter how briefly. They would be okay. They just had to get through that night and they could go home and rest.
He instinctively uncrossed his arms and held one out for Dering to offer a hug-- but clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth when Ephesus swooped in to claim a hug from Dering for himself.
That was fine. He didn’t need one, anyway. He nodded to Amarynthos in greeting, but crossed his arms back over his chest and looked back to make sure Malus was okay.
“Yeah, I just hope I didn’t make a bad decision leaving Cynthus with Rose and Cassidy,” he made a face. They would gossip, probably. They would keep each other entertained, at least.
“Evie said he would be going to his Wonder, too. So they’ll all be there--” Probably using the chance to talk about him!! Great. He could already feel his ears burn because he was now afraid that Cynthus saw him hold onto Cassidy’s hand a little longer than was probably necessary. Ugh! They were definitely going to be gossiping about him.
“It’s fine!” he groaned and drew in a dramatic breath to then let out with a huff. Kyuseisha no Hikari Amarynthos, Dering, Malus, Michel

Captain Seraphinite ★post 1 Next to Aquamarine, near Jet & Co. He smiled briefly to the huffed sarcasm, but Aquamarine's request for post-....whatever the hell this was, drinks, he was about to joke a bit more, but another General (Benitoite) spoke up instead, and Seraphinite gave a small, soundless snort through his nose.
Insults when all this started..? He cut Aquamarine a curious look, but didn't voice his question for the moment. He even overheard Jet joking--maybe? Who knew--about an afterparty. Which... wasn't exactly his idea of a great time. Seraphinite wasn't a large crowd sort of person, but he still muttered quietly as he could to Aquamarine, "Happy to give you crappy pours till others are drunk and won't remember s**t... I can make sure he gets so drunk he passes out early so you don't need to stay as long," he added, with a subtle nod towards Jet. Seeing as neither of them were probably going to be super keen to just... leave Ilian, but like hell did Seraphinite want to stick around a party for longer than needed...
He scanned the group of those gathering, trying to memorize faces he didn't know, check marking those he did. The Captain was trying to not give into the sort of... excited itch he felt in his hands to fight, but he knew it was there. Not reckless abandon, but more... awareness of a thrill. There were people he wanted to protect, including some present, and he'd put all he could into a fight to ensure their safety. Didn't exactly diminish the anticipation of them all taking down a world-eating monster, though.

Corrupt Eternal Sailor Chrysocolla of MoodsChrysocolla was in a sour mood. This was not new. She was in a bad mood surprisingly often, when it came to Destiny City, which - for the record - she hadn't even been in? She'd been out of town, and then sitting on the train to get back to Destiny City, and then there'd been - a General-Sovereign's pull. She hadn't felt that in a long time.
So it was probably Faustite's fault that her bags were sitting on a train miles away while she was here and half of Destiny City was briefly putting their personal issues with each other on hold. Briefly the look on her face was... thunderous. --And then she put it away. No. Not now. Not here. Later. And there was someone (many someones) she recognized, and a specific someone she teleported to stand by -
"Beatrix," Chrysocolla said, faintly irritated but not with Bea, "anyone throw a fit so far?" That tended to happen. She gave a nod to Meissa, too; not a friendly one, but not an unfriendly one. Acknowledgement. Beatrix's girl, and then probably someone outside of that, but that was the easiest identifier to assign her.----- Corrupt Super Sailor Pax of ReverberationPax was here because Faustite had summoned them, and he was their boss, so they weren't exactly going to say no. Not that they could've, anyway, but they wouldn't have if they could have. They had their arms folded over their chest, perhaps the most severe resting b***h face they'd ever been seen with, and if they were hearing anything that anyone was actually saying was hard to determine. This was too many people talking out loud at once! Way, way too many...!!
So they stuck close to Faustite, and the rest of the team, because those were people who could at least understand ASL. But they weren't happy about losing the headphones. Not at all. If those even had metal they weren't sure, but better safe than electrocuted, so...----- Half-Youma General LarimarLarimar did not want to ******** around about the potential end of the world. If anything, Larimar had been feeling particularly antisocial and riding out a progressively-worsening paranoia and panic spiral for the past month or so. But there were some things you pulled yourself out of your stupid little misery hole for, and whatever today was, this was one of them.
What would've been reasonable was for Larimar to go stand with any of the other Officers, show a little Negaverse solidarity, even if ze couldn't ******** stand most of those people. Maybe even stand near the Negaverse Senshi, they moved in packs, didn't they? But
Faustite was here, so that. Limited. Where ze was willing to go.
There was a half-youma Captain ze didn't quite recognize, but if pretending to show some kind of solidarity would save zyr pathetic little life today, then by god ze was going to hang out with him. Or hang near him. Awkwardly. Socialization was difficult when one rarely interacted with others face-to-face at all anymore, and he looked like he was having a ******** godawful day anyway, so that made two of them.----- Super DSS Róka of the UndertowIn theory, Róka should not have been here. Róka should not have been here, because Alexis Montague had pulled their usual disappearing trick and was, unbeknownst to anyone in Destiny City, in Minnesota.
Or had been in Minnesota, anyway.
But they had their ways of keeping up with news, and if there had ever been something that would've gotten them unexpectedly back in town, there's an enormous monster and it might be the end of the world was it. Mostly focusing on that first half. Even if their tools as a wyrm-hunter were lost to the muck and rot of their homeworld, a thousand years of decay, it was still who they were. Fight big monster = absolutely yes 700% yes, did they even have to say it.
Grieve probably wasn't too surprised when they showed up from approximately out of nowhere; for a weird fish alien, sometimes Róka was absurdly stealthy in crowds. It made them a good pickpocket and a good a-lot-of-other-things. "Don't play with your food," they said offhandedly, quickly looking Nekoite up-and-down and apparently dismissing him as not-a-threat. "It's unbecoming."
Hy-Brasil did not warrant a hello, apparently.

Vanguard Cadet ItztenochA bloom of color graced Tenochs features as he felt a familiar hand slide into his own, he returned the squeeze gently, tugging her minutely closer to his side as an impulse. He watched her watch the sky-- Loathed himself, briefly, for not climbing the ladder higher. For not seeking to advance to be her equal, for letting the training he'd once done so frequently -- like morning ablations -- fall off into a zone of rarely and never. His gun felt pathetic at his side. But her hand felt warm in his, an anchor amidst the huddle of their kin, and so he refused to let it go as Lyndin's voice boomed over them, calm as ever, firm yet caring. Their Commodores words did tug a lighter smile onto Tenochs face, the losses they suffered during their first scuffle a far more distance sadness now than it had been at the time. "The same goes for you, Commodore." He offered to Lyndin softly, thinking on how their leader was neither invincible nor infallible. It was why he liked him, why he ultimately chose to follow Lyndin still. They needed their Commodore too, just as much as they needed each and every other one of their group. Quote: Did I mention? The sky loomed low above Destiny City, and as the strange lightning spread, like an electric nervous system on full display, the clouds seemed weighed down, too. Where there was once a flat sheen of darkness, now it began to bubble. Rupture. It was as if a current had suddenly picked up behind them, just out of reach. Violent waves of motion made the purple-hued clouds look like Asperitas Clouds at first, and then it was as if the darkness was so tumultuous it had to spill over. Waterfalls of clouds poured from the sky and the darkness was so expansive that it didn’t seem as though it showed any signs of stopping. A bubble had been broken. Something pushed again on the layer of clouds, and maybe this time you saw something–a flash of white scale, like the entire sky beyond the clouds might have been marble. It’s hard to call the electric lights lightning, not when they don’t flash or flicker. They grow. It looks as though the sky is falling down above Destiny City, across the whole sky. A wind has picked up. There’s a vacuum somewhere, but it’s hard to tell if it's pushing or pulling. The breeze is sharp and the trees whip violently in the sky. Energy is gathering in spontaneous bursts, with such presence that it feels like someone is standing in the empty spaces around them. Solaris, Encke, Jet, Aquamarine, Faustite, Heliodor, Murikabushi, Kerberos, Benitoite and Chalcanthite knew this feeling–it was the same pressure the night the sky split open and pulled them into the subchamber of the Calamitous Hollow’s prison. If there is an opening–a chance to meet this thing head on–there is a small window to take it. Maybe you can still meet it in its own domain before it crosses that final threshold and arrives on Earth. But something else appeared, too, in that split second before the sky seemed ready to fall apart. In a burst of colorful glitter, a blue velvet bag, tied with a little gold cord, hovering in the air before every person there. Whatever magic had summoned it faded somewhat, and with each passing second, the bag drooped lower to the ground. Attached to each bag was a little tag that read, handwritten in iridescent ink and elegant script: Wishing you strength, health, and a safe path forward.
XO
Almadel Inside each bag are three items: A tiny pin with a purple diamond; it is roughly the size of a dime and can be attached to any fabric material. A round, purple berry that was firm to the touch and smelled sweet; it had a soft skin and was roughly the size of a cherry tomato. A bracelet that demands to be worn; something about it compels you to keep on your person. It is simple silver but has a multi-faceted, raindrop shaped gemstone charm dangling from it. The teardrop shaped gemstone has a silver glint to it and might have appeared clear if it weren’t for the swirling white mist trapped inside. Energy hummed inside these crystals–harvested, stored. Waiting to be used. There is a familiarity about them, though it may be hard to place. The Negaverse might feel as if it is a strange summoning, a call to arms. Order might feel as if it is a chance for new opportunities, an open door. The Dark Mirror Court might feel as if it is proof of a dream, something almost within reach. The Vanguard might feel as if it is of a fond memory, an echo of home. And, in some bags, maybe something a little extra. Quote: As the skies descend, an expensive looking giftbag has appeared in front of each character; please roll 1d100! You can roll for multiple characters in one post. Highest roll(s) will have a fourth item included, to be announced when rolling concludes. Each character can only acquire one gift bag; if they attempt to grab another, it will feel like reaching into empty air and their hand will be covered in glitter they can’t seem to shake off. Details about these items will be provided in the next prompt. The next prompt will be posted Sunday the 13th at ~8PM EST and you will have until then to roll, at which point in time you will lose the opportunity for your character to obtain a fourth item. Latecomers to this RP will still receive the giftbag so if you join after this post and miss out on rolling, your character will still obtain the three standard items. Players will not be able to make up for missed rolls or expired prompts, and if there are repercussions for joining late, they will be announced with the new prompt. Please make sure you are reading all of the OOC rules when a new prompt is posted, as this section and requirements for posting will change as the RP progresses! When posting, please include your character’s name, rank, and a link to their journal at the top of their post. Please also include a line directly under that and provide a very brief summary of your character’s actions; this might include who they are with, where they are, or what they are doing. You cannot reserve posts. If you make a post, you must write at least one relevant sentence within one hour. Please respect that if you do not fill your post out promptly, players may need to skip over your post; please do not backfill posts after a reasonable window, as this may affect the players who posted after you. It is recommended to have pre-written your post as much as possible prior to rolling to reduce the time it takes to fill out these posts. A summary of general information will be provided in the near future! If you have any questions, please PM The Space Cauldron or DM Xigglet on Discord!

The sky was really weird and the world might end so this was really good they had someone like him on their side. Coco popped into her human form to greet Tea. "Oh you guys came, I'm glad you came, well not for this I'd rather do something a lot more fun." She put on the bracelet. She looked at the other stuff in confusion. "Did you see this stuff?" She said talking about the bags.

Lacaille super senshi of books Lacaille grabbed the bag she frowned looking at the sky, this was bad this was getting really bad and Coco was off with her friend and she was confident that the guardian cat didn't need her to hover. Lacaille looked to the sky then she opened her bag and she put the pin on. She frowned at the berry. She couldn't recall if she knew the name that was in the note. She thought she knew someone like this but she wasn't sure. She put the bracelet on her wrist and closed the bag and put it in her pocket. She sighed out deeply hoping they would live through this mess.

Transcendant Eternal Sailor Chariklo Standing with Ida and Xibalba
Watching the skies, Chariklo’s hands reached out for Ida and Xibalba, badly wanting the comfort that came with contact. Whatever she might have been expecting was nothing close to what she was seeing. The pressure in the air felt almost unbearable and at about the point where she would have wanted to scream, a little bag popped into existence in front of her face.
Staring stupidly for a moment, she reached for the bag, grabbing it out of the air and reading the note. Almadel. What was the sneaky ******** up to with these? Though, she didn’t think there was any malice here. But what the thought process actually was, she could not begin to guess.
Xibalba Squire of Mars Standing with Chariklo and Ida
Xibalba was convinced that he’d seen a flash of white, scaled hide in the sky. He felt his wife seize his hand and tried to put as much soothing as he could manage into his return squeeze. This was it, he thought. This was bigger than anything he’d guarded in the ye olde tymes on Mars.
But before he could begin to entertain despair, a small velvet bag appeared in front of everyone. Including him. Reaching up instinctively, he seized the thing and looked inside. Not finding an explanation, he read the note and frowned. Was this the guy that Chariklo had gone to help? The one with the museum? Based on what he’d been told after, he wondered if this was a sort of freebie favor to them all. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Super Sailor Namaka Standing with Orcus and looking lost
Namaka was pressing her hand hard against her mouth, horrified by the things she could see in the sky. Wasn’t there anything they could actually do beyond watch and wait? Surely between everyone there, they could do something?
Before she could speak up and beg for someone to give an order or something, a little velvety bag popped into existence. As she watched, slack jawed, a bag seemed to materialize in front of everyone there. The note attached meant nothing to her. Who was Almadel? And why was he giving them weird fruit and jewelry?
Super Sailor Orcus Standing with Namaka and trying to find some friendly faces
For her part, Orcus managed to keep her cool as the sky seemed to push and writhe above them. Was it alarming? Yes. Utterly goddamned terrifying? Also big yes. But the shields that she’d heard about seemed to be helping for now. All they could do was wait.
She didn’t even jump when a funny little bag appeared in the air, hanging at eye level. Instead, she reached up to take it and read the note. Strength, health and a safe path, huh? Well, whoever Almadel was, she liked his thinking. Even if she couldn’t see how any of these trinkets could provide those things when facing a massive world-eating snake.

She had no idea what was going on, only she would stand with the other fighters on this battlefield and defend the earth and other worlds. She knew that life was important life deserved to be protected. She didn't understand a lot of other factions but she knew they weren't totally evil. (Open for interaction)

Corrupt Super Senshi of the Harvest Actaea Actaea laughed softly to herself. She loved her team; they had been there for her when she was lost, so this was like her family. This awkward moment was actually kinda cute to her. She looked at the pile and laughed again and then was about to say more when the sky became strange and the bag appeared. She lost the words she was going to say and she grabbed the bag well this was weird she hadn't expected a bag of goodies on a battlefield. She turned to her team. "I don't remember any battles but is this normal?" She asked holding the bag not opening it yet. "Ah--Hatsya--"

Super Sailor Chibi Saiph Standing in the field with Cuan, probably looking terrified
Closing her eyes for a moment and gulping, Saiph watched the sky and reached up to where Cuan sat on her shoulder. Despite having heard everything the hologram of Queen Serenity had said, she hadn’t thought things would be quite this… alarming.
The bags popping into being over everyone’s head would have been kind of funny under any other circumstances. As it was, it took a sharp hiss from her cat to seize the one hanging at eye level. She didn’t know who Almadel was or why he/she/they were giving people weird gift bags. But judging by the note, this was supposed to help them. She only hoped it worked.
Sailor Iapetus Looking for anyone she might know
Iapetus was popping her knuckles grimly and stretching as she watched the sky. It did absolutely no good, but it was something to do while they waited for… what? The satellites to fail? The snekky boi to ******** off and go somewhere else? She didn’t know. She was even more puzzled by the appearance of magical swag bags, but dutifully took one anyway. The note seemed hopeful and she was a big fan of hope.
Mauvian Cuán Oileán Perched ‘pon Saiph
As if she didn’t feel small enough amidst all of… this, the flashes and glimpses of white scales made Cuan feel positively miniscule. Yet, whatever protections that had been put in place seemed to be holding for now. She only hoped that continued to be the case.
Hissing in surprise as floating bags appeared all across the area, Cuan batted at the one nearest her head and blinked as it fell into her paws. Reading the note, she smiled a little. She’d heard of this one. He’d been mentioned multiple times in the database. She’d hoped one day to meet him. If these little gifts worked, she wanted to be able to thank him personally.
Corrupt Super Sailor Ilmarë Standing by herself
Everything about this felt so wrong, Ilmare thought. She wanted to go running and look for anyone she may have met in ther past, wanted to make sure they were safe. Instead, she had to hold herself back so as to not draw undue attention to herself from her superiors. And she hated it. If they were all going to die, she wanted to stand with the friends she’d made. She wanted to protect people!
As she was thinking about that, a bag appeared in front of her face and she instinctively grabbed for it. Something about the way it just showed up made her suspicious. And when she read the note, she gave a bark of laughter. The Merchant. Of course. Well, she appreciated the sentiment of the note anyway, even if she didn’t understand what the contents of the bags were supposed to do.
