The tournament is taking place in the Castle in Negaspace, in a large room that has been designated towards the event. It is very spacious and there is a ring where the participants will fight, as well as seats around it for viewers. You are greeted by General Aurostibite, standing off to the side to monitor!
The rules are simple: fight your opponent using whatever methods you have available to you - physical strength or magic - and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner! Aurostibite adds, in a tone of voice that doesn't quite indicate whether he's joking or not, to please try not to kill anyone.
OOC RULES:
- THIS FIRST BATTLE YOU WILL HAVE 96 HOURS (4 days) to complete because I am starting them early. The rest will be 72 hours. If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.

THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!
Pyrophanite was all pumped and ready to go. His promotion had been fairly quick and simple and he was all snazzily dressed for it.
What better way to greet the negaverse too, as the new improved danger noodle? He didn't think he could make a flashier statement by joining the tournament.
"yo." He wouldn't be able to tell who his opponent was right away, since everyone was still heat blobbish figures. Like nicer defined blobs.
"isssssssss senssssssshiiiiii....." The snake youma voice curled in his head, much louder then he use to be. It was like he was present in the skull part of his brain, cause Pyro to grimace. He kind of hated it, and plus, he was a general now? Didn't Cinnabar say the voice's got weaker???
Was Harmtome's cry to the newly minted Danger Noodle General from the spectator sidelines, dark hands cupped around her mouth to amplify her already loud voice.

This was going to be...something. Hopefully a gauge of how much punishment from an outside source the GPO Eternal could manage to endure without being a complete embarrassment to every ounce of painstaking effort to train the fool in some sort of regular hand-to-hand, tactics, and general exercise regime. There was the threat of ingroup bias, by being present, making the senshi try to be impressive and take more than would otherwise happen out on a battlefield,but the data was so far slim and would have to do. We must start somewhere, even if it is at bedrock.
The Green General sucked her teeth once, and golf clapped for the participants. "’Ave, Imperator, morituri te salutant,’ as it were. "

"DO THE THING!" Which was? Could be punchy, could be kicky, could be licky, could be belching the ABCs through his exhalation magic, but Haüyne gave no extra specifications to the imperative. There was a new flag in checkered red and black for this tourney, a larger one made of stolen pillowcases and an actual flagpole from a yard and hardware outfit.
Who is THAT that is cheering for him, too? He get a hot girlfriend and didn't tell me? Or a subby? Did he fistchest 'em himself? Duuuuuuuuuude The Corrupted started with interest, tearing attention back and forth from Tits McGee to the Combat Ring, then back, then forth,
then back, then forth.

Faustite advertised his bleak distaste for his teammate and superior by standing as near to the door as he could physically manage. Smoke wafted from his back to the outer corridor while he glared with slightless eyes toward the mint-haired menace. Bound arms crossed over his narrow chest, which heaved with his acrid disappointment.
Even if Pyrophanite proved an unduly bizarre meet, Faustite knew camaraderie through similar biological circumstances. They held more incommon than the overweight china doll at his fore.
"Can you stop yelling," Chrysocolla said through gritted teeth as she entered the ring, not looking at anyone in particular but keeping her shoulders low and her breathing even - Schorl got a respectful nod, but then the senshi looked away and back to her opponent, trying to avoid distraction.
Oh. It's him. Her face scrunched up, a little; it had been a while ago, more than a year, but she remembered meeting a less-powerful Pyrophanite and not getting on particularly well. Not that it mattered, anyways. She had a spar to win. (Hopefully.) With a little wave to her opponent, Chrysocolla shifted her stance, ready for the fight ahead.

He seemed slower than her - it was almost impossible to tell, them both standing there, but at the same time - his eyes didn't seem to really track, to really focus? Maybe she was reading too much into it. Maybe she was just overcomplicating it.
She was probably overcomplicating it.
Still, there was no better way to tell than by getting what could be deemed all up in Pyrophanite's business, and Chrysocolla intended to do just that - it wasn't much of a strike, but if she could draw out some anger, it'd make the fight a little more fun for her and probably a lot easier. A hit with the back of her hand to the face - it was a taunting move, with no real damage but the scratching and minor force, but he was almost entirely clothed so there wasn't much she could do. Not as an opening. She just needed to be smart about it.
Pyrophanite could feel that Hauyne joined the ranks among the spectators, it made the general stand just a little bit taller. Among the group too, was the overly heat generating half youma Faustite too, which made him a little sad.
He wanted warm things.
As the corrupt came towards him, he started to have a distinct feeling he knew them, but couldn't tell from the form. The slap though earned a curious c**k and he returned to it her in full.
With a punch to the stomach.
"If you're trying to make me angry, it's not gonna work." He smiled cheerfully at her. "I happen to like it rough."
"Nasty." Chrysocolla had more to say, but she felt her tangents were better saved for internal discussion than actively berating her opponent - it seemed unprofessional, to do such. If he was being smug, though? She could work with that, even if it was a little inconvenient. Pyrophanite just needed to be off-balance from magic, and everything else would come easier.
"Warhol Mood Reversal," she called under her breath (hands crossed in front of her chest), and shoved the glittering-glowing ball of energy right into his face, flat-palmed. It still wasn't a solid strike, but she was only ever so confident about fighting one-on-one without the advantage of magic - not that she was doing anything to disprove the reliance, but it was the spirit of the thing.

Warhol Mood Reversal This magic temporarily reverses the enemy's primary emotion for twenty seconds; i.e., bravery to cowardice. If someone realizes their emotions have been altered, they can shake the magic off.

Faustite's lips pursed, and he looked on with brows furrowed. Why are they wasting time?
Chrysocolla isn't a difficult opponent. She's short, she's loudmouthed, she's full of hot air.
"Come on, Pyro!" He yelled through painfully cupped hands. Don't lose to that. It's uncouth.
"I know you are, but what am I?" Pyrophanite responded in return.
Her magic worked though, as he went from being cocky to being nervous and worried.
His body shook and suddenly he felt like he couldn't attack the corrupt, something was wrong with hitting her. something he didn't know what....MAYBE HE WASN'T MEANT TO BE A GENERAL
She felt - a little bad, honestly. Well, actually, that was a lie; Chrysocolla didn't feel bad at all. But she didn't want to be that close to him - it was a little uncomfortable, a little disquieting, and she was kind of having a bad day when it came to anxiety and being that close to someone else she didn't trust was not something she wanted to do for longer than ten seconds thank you very much.
She backed up a few steps, watching, waiting, and stayed properly poised for retaliation.
