Another lonely night. Leucite hated lonely nights. Another night without his... knight. He made a face at his mental pun but returned his focus to "work." He had been tracking this particular dealer for weeks, and he had finally been able to corner him. Dropping down into the alley behind him, he reached out to grab him when he froze stock still and pushed his body hard against the shadows.

A girl was at the entrance of the alley and she was looking right at the dealer.

"PAPA! PAPA!" she shouted, running toward the man who chuckled and crouched down to catch her. "Look, look! I got a 100 on my spelling test!"

Leucite bit his tongue, the kid couldn't have been older than seven or eight - what was she doing out so late? Where was her other parent?

"Ah, your Mama would be so proud sweetie..." the dealer smiled, ruffling the girl's hair. "Papa's done for tonight, so let's go home, eh? Did Auntie Cassandra drop you off?"

"Yes Papa! But you left the door locked again so I had to come find you."

"Ah, bad Papa! You will have to scold me properly when we get home!" He chuckled and picked up the girl, and carried her out of the alley.

Leucite cussed softly under his breath, and scratched this dealer off his list.

He would not make that girl an orphan.

Turning, he took to the rooftops in search of new prey - or a fight - he kept a watch out for any order aura.

He was ready to rip someone apart.

Warhol sat on a rooftop, kicking her legs out, closing her eyes and letting the night breeze blow through her hair. It was nice out! She had to hope to herself that nobody was showing up tonight -- it was already late, and generally she tried to stop patrolling before half past eleven, or else her parents got overtly worried and would start locking the door. She'd already had to wheedle and bargain with them about her homework to get curfew this late: telling them 'mom, dad, I'm a magical space warrior' wasn't exactly the sort of thing that garnered sympathy or understanding.

She felt Leucite pinging on her mental radar slowly and softly -- gunpowder and cloth (and stinging like acid in orderly blue) -- and then, only then, did Sailor Warhol begin to stand up, moving away from the edge of the roof. ...she didn't have backup, but -- she could do this! Totally. She'd be fine, she'd be alright, and if she ended up grinding her heel into his throat until something snapped it'd be something to tell Megiddo about. She could do this.

She could do this.

Bingo.

Leucite's attention was immediately drawn toward the sense of the Order Aura. Grinning, he did a quick heel turn on the next building and charged right for it. When he got within visual range of the senshi, he licked his bottom lip and jumped down onto the next roof top, making sure she saw him land as he allowed himself to slide to a stop.

"Well then, it looks like tonight's my lucky night." He called to the senshi with his best parade voice.

"I get to grind another one of you filthy beasts into the dust."

Warhol just raised an eyebrow, looking at him: and trying not to be intimidated! Sometimes it kind of stank to be 5'2", but that was life, and she couldn't walk in heels anyways. "Dust? Isn't that what we do to those monsters of yours?" With that beautiful retort, she closed her eyes to summon her magic: "Warhol Mood Reversal," the Senshi muttered, hands to her brooch, grabbing the orb as soon as it came into being and waiting for Leucite to move towards her.

Torvil
Action: Sailor Warhol crosses her hands over her brooch, and it creates an approximately tennis-ball-sized ball of colorful energy that falls into her hands. She then throws the ball at the enemy.
Effect: If this attack connects, it temporarily reverses the enemy's primary emotion for twenty seconds; i.e., bravery to cowardice. This attack does not affect emotions other than the primary, so the affected may find reason in their other emotions if they realize they've been magically affected.
Limitations: This attack can be used twice per battle, but requires a few seconds of concentration and the ability to throw. If it fails to hit an entity, it will dissolve into an iridescent glitter upon contact with anything.]

"They are hardly monsters - just the earth trying to defend itself from your invasion. Your kind is a virus and the youma are just one small part of the cure." Leucite replied, watching as she called upon her magic. Finally, one of these witches pulled out the magic early.

Summoning his flag, he knelt down long enough to gather up a bit of gravel and debris from the roof before he charged at her, waving the flag a few times to attempt to draw her eye before feinting a body-blow with the stick of it. Meanwhile, his hand full of gravel and debris flung forward hard toward her face, opening at the moment when he was sure he'd get the best spread of particles in her face.

"Suffer not the senshi to live."

"But you're Chaos," Warhol muttered, "you're bad, even your aura hurts - " and then she was trying to dodge sideways with a yelp, but she still took the hit from the pole and rubbed miserably at her stinging eyes. There was a brief, brief lull; with her unused arm, she lobbed the magic at Leucite, trying to move out of the way of another hit. And she couldn't move right, because she was on her own -- she'd ask Megiddo for training.

(If she got out of this alive.)

"Don't touch me, I wouldn't want you anywhere near my soul!" With the gravel wiped from her face (but eyes still stinging), Warhol kept trying to keep a distance just out of arm's reach, because she was dumb but she wasn't that dumb. She wouldn't just deliver herself to Chaos like a lamb to slaughter.

"Chaos is from which all things are born, and to which all things return," Leucite countered. He really didn't want to get hit by the ball, but at the same time, eh was too close to really avoid it, so he took it full on in the chest - thinking that he might as well prepare for the worse.

Only to feel a sudden warmth wash over him as his anger at this senshi dissipated into something joyous. This poor lamb - she needed saving. As she moved to keep distance from him, he smiled softly and took a few steps to the side to keep himself at an angle from her. He may be overjoyed with the prospect of converting the senshi-witch, but he was not about to let her flee or attack him without retort.

"Now, now, little lamb, no need to be that way." He said soothingly, moving toward her in a zig-zag pattern, each step erratic to keep her off-balance. "Ours is a righteous mission, to protect this earth from your invasion. Convert, or die."

He did not want to destroy her - but he would if it was required...

"Oh, so 'come into my web, said the spider to the fly?'" Warhol tried to counter with, backing up without looking behind her, breathing hard: somehow, the faux-kindness actually made it worse than his blatant preludes to murder. ...maybe her magic depended on what they subconsciously felt was the reverse? It wasn't helpful at all in the moment, but she subconsciously noted it for later, to maybe actually do research.

"...I'd rather die than convert to you...!" Her hands curled into fists, but Warhol still refused to go on the offensive, tense as...well, she hadn't thought of a good way to finish that sentence yet. It wasn't exactly a priority, what with the superpowered madman advancing on her. ('You need to work on your physical skills,' the dispassionate corner of her mind whispered, yawning and sounding a little like Megiddo but without all the AUTHORITY; 'without your magic working, you sort of stink'.)

She was so focused on backing up --
well, Warhol was about two steps away from the edge of the rooftop.

She had rebuffed him - already he could feel the anger at her beginning to boil to the surface again. How dare she rebuff her chance to convert? Did she not see the path she trod lead to ruin. Seeing her near the roof, the joy flared for a small, brief moment.

He could end her easily now.

The faux-kindness faded swiftly as he charged her, lashing out with a series of punches and a few kicks toward her midsection as soon as he got into range.

He would follow her down to the ground if that is what it took to ensure that she understood just how wrong she was.

"Pride goeth before the fall, child."

She had no time to talk, trying to raise her arms to ward him off; but a kick landed true, and Warhol gave out a sharp gasp as the air was knocked out of her -- and that was enough to topple her backwards over the edge. She whimpered, barely managing to hang on with a few fingers, unaware of the fire escape blow - she couldn't see it, didn't dare look down and away from Leucite, didn't dare take that chance and give him the opening (not like he needed it; he'd done quite well enough without her giving him any so far).

"Your pride, maybe -- " and Warhol grabbed out for Leucite's ankle, trying to pull him off the roof, fingers trying to lock and not let go. She'd be fine. She had to be. She was good, and he was Chaos, and Chaos would lose and die and they had to.

Kicking at the hand trying to snatch at him, Leucite brought his foot up, then down - hard - on the fingers she had clinging to the edge. He did this a few more times, and then, not waiting to see if she gave up on her death grip, he leapt down to the fire escape below, turning and waiting to see if she was going to fall or land on her feet.

He was prepared for either option to be honest.

Poor thing - she'd never fought a trained fighter before from the looks of things - or if she had she'd had some sort of help. It seemed odd to him that they didn't travel in packs more - but he was sure that had more to do with them being so spread out.

Maybe - it was hard to tell and gathering intel on their movements was... well it wasn't his department.

He'd signed on to kick a** and chew bubblegum. Too bad he didn't like bubblegum.

Warhol made a strangled noise and let go, instinctively recoiling to hold her pained hand to her chest; she barely landed on her feet, but it looked much more a result of luck than it did skill. She didn't attack, staying close to the wall, cradling her steadily bruising fingers in the healthy one's grip and looking at Leucite like a deer in headlights.

She looked about to cry.

"...So what? Are you going to kill me?" It wasn't so much a taunt as it was a loaded question, and to Warhol's credit, her voice didn't tremble at all. Almost. "You can see. I'm...I'm useless. I can't hurt you. And I'd...rather die than serve Chaos."

Leucite closed in on her, reaching out to grab her by the collar of her fuku and pull her in close, his other hand pressing firmly against her chest. She could struggle all she wanted, but he had his body turned so that if she wanted to make a dirty shot he'd have plenty of warning and he'd be able to do what he needed to do to pacify her.

He looked down into her eyes and he smirked.

"Do you really want to die so badly, little girl?" His words were soft - conversational almost.

"Do you really want to have your parents wonder why their little girl was out here, so late - what she was doing? Why didn't she stay home? Why is there all this money on her person... why is there drugs... Oh our sweet little baby was turning tricks for drugs... Oh. The. Shame..."

He was in that moment the wolf about to rend the lamb asunder, his hand pushing into her chest slowly, reaching for a very specific thing.

"Now then..." He said, watching her face. "Tell me again how you'd rather die?"

His fingers brushed against her starseed - teasing - but not quite firmly gripping.

Because deep down Leucite knew he couldn't kill her. But that was something she didn't need to know.

Leucite's fingers pushed past her shirt and into her chest and Warhol jerked with the wrongness of it, feeling that hand pass through her flesh and touching -- touching -- it hurt, it ******** hurt, like she was being metaphysically strangled; because that was her soul, that was her soul and he was touching it - there wasn't any time for anything but a quiet whimper and a barely-swallowed retch.

"Nn -" it took her a few seconds to remember how to form words- "I'm...I'm a soldier. Of love and justice. I do what...I have to do." She tried to look Leucite in the eyes - couldn't manage it, and swallowed instead, looking more at his shoulder - "My parents...wouldn't think that..." And Warhol tried to pull his invading hand out of her chest and away from her soul.

As she pulled at his hand he finally cupped her starseed completely. "Now, now - keep that up and you'll lose it..." Leucite cooed as he finally, painfully removed his hand from her chest, letting her slump to the ground as most people often did when their souls had been messed with.

"Oh I'm pretty sure they would - most parents assume the worse... Mine always did when I was your age..." he smirked, crouching down to look at her.

"But, you know what - you're a s**t fighter." He reached out and slapped her face a few times - not hard enough to really hurt, but just enough to be insulting.

"Whoever taught you to be a... soldier of love and justice was s**t too."

"Your starseed isn't worth feeding to a Youma... You are pathetic and worthless..." He leaned in, grabbing her by the chin forcefully so he could make sure she was locked onto his eyes.

His eyes burned with hate and malice and anger. There was an underlying hint of frustration - but as to what said frustration was directed toward was a mystery.

"You're not worthy of that word. Solider. You don't know what it MEANS to be a solider." His hand pushed her head away, into the fence of the fire escape, not enough to cause harm - but enough so that it would be damn uncomfortable.

"You can call yourself that the day you kill me. But until then you're nothing but a maggot." He reached down again, but this time grabbed her by her fuku and hefted her up with a bit of effort, and pushed her against the fence again.

"So, maggot - should I throw you over the edge? Or are you going to cry and beg me for mercy?"
