One of these days, the term, "curiosity killed the cat" was definitely going to apply to Sailor Seiryuu. She was like a fly attracted to the bright light of the bug zapper. Something tickled of trouble? GO EXPLORE! Might be dangerous? Even MORE reason to go explore!
Which was why the newb senshi was out chasing after a strange energy source she felt. It made her think of the youma. But not at the same time? It was all so confusing.
So, of course she had to go investigate and see what it actually was. Otherwise, how would she know what feeling that same energy would mean in the future? Trial and error. Or something.
As she got closer to what she was starting to believe was... what had the others called it? Chaos? Seiryuu began to slow down and approach with more caution. But only a little. Which basically meant she was still jogging a little too excitedly towards the bad guy. Daekie omg last one i swear |D <3

Chrysocolla had it down to a science, by now, and it'd only gotten easier as of recently -- if she wanted starseeds, Destiny City brought out the crooks. If she wanted starseeds, she adjusted her top and batted her eyelashes and made herself seem innocent and told everyone she was eighteen when she clearly wasn't; and she took them into alleyways or went into their cars and tore their souls right out of their chests.
It wasn't super moral, but she felt she was doing the world a service. If it hadn't been her -- it would have been a girl who really did have no other choice. With her, instead, she made sure they'd never hurt anyone else.
(Her nose was bleeding again, a steady trickle, bright against her dark skin. She adjusted her top, and she vanished those civilian starseeds away and out of her hands, ready to be turned in later; there was no point in juggling them, not now.)
And there was a baby Senshi coming for her, right on cue -- Chrysocolla snorted and regretted it immediately. Didn't they know anything? Fine. She wouldn't kill - it was too much trouble. But she stepped to the opening of the alleyway, arms folded under her bust, brows furrowed; she could feel the ugly-bright aura coming, and all she needed to do was wait for them to be in view.

Seiryuu really didn't have any clue as to what she was about to get herself into. Only that this was a new yet familiar feeling - she was pretty sure it wasn't a youma - and the only way to determine what it was, obviously, was to go investigate. So when she came skidding around the corner to the entrance of the alleyway, she was definitely not expecting... a woman.
A pretty woman. That did not look very happy at all. And was that blood?
The novice Senshi blinked in surprise, taking in the dark clothing. But she was having a difficult time moving past the blood. That was not something she was used to seeing.
"U-Umm.... " A brilliant introduction. Trying again, Seiryuu folded her arms, though she looked nowhere near as menacing. "Hi? You're... different." She wasn't sure what to say. Daekie Poor Chrys, gettin stuck with overly curious bby senshi

Chrysocolla stared down Seiryuu for a few seconds, dull-eyed -- when she spoke, her voice was deceptively soft. Combined with her appearance, she might have been Seiryuu's age at best; but ignoring the sharp lines of her fuku, she looked unintimidating.
"...Name," she said, after a few seconds of deliberation. "Tell me your name first, alright...? Then we can move on." Still, the corrupt didn't move, except to bring up one gloved hand and wipe away the blood from her nose. (It was still coming - a slow, slow trickle - but it was there.)Kyrieko she's so tired kyrie. why doesnt order teach their recruits to stay away from corrupt eternals. then she could have a NICE DAY WITHOUT ANY MURDER OR STARSEED FONDLING

It was sort of hard to fully concentrate when all she could do was keep staring at the, ah, difference in their apparel.
"Um... what?" She blinked, shaking her head and stared the other in the face. "My... oh! I'm Sailor Seiryuu." A pause. "And you are.... ?" Nearly flashing peeps.
A frown formed as she watched a hand wipe away the blood. "Are you okay?" She added, a little concerned. Though the full reality that she might be in danger had yet to fully sink in. Yet. Especially considering all her previous encounters up to this point had not been.... violent. Or dangerous.
Okay, it depended on one's definition of "danger". Daekie clearly, Chrys needs to protest this and send a complaint in to the Order!!

A flicker of disinterest crossed Chrysocolla's face -- she adjusted her top with a sigh, and dropped her hands to keep them limply balled at her side. "...Chrysocolla. Look, okay...I'm really tired. You leave now, I don't kill you." Strong words, to be coming out of a girl who looked like she probably couldn't lift even half her body weight. "Simple as that...you don't want your parents to have to find you dead, right?"
If Seiryuu looked behind the other girl, there was a lifeless figure in the shadows; the corpse wore a rumpled suit. (Well, he might not have been a corpse yet -- but with the draining Chrysocolla had done and the fact his starseed was all the way away in Negaspace, he wouldn't wake up, either.) She pulled a tiny orb of crystallized energy, the size of a jawbreaker, out from nowhere and it shattered between her teeth like rock candy.
"There's your ultimatum. You leave, or I have my fun."Kyrieko she sends them pamphlets (she does not send them pamphlets)

"Rude much?" Seiryuu muttered, just staring at Chryso... Chrys... whatever! She crossed hear arms, a little peeved at the threat...and probably completely missing the fact it was a serious threat. "Somebody should definitely work on their manners... "
Maybe it was chance, or something that just drew her eye, like a moth to a flame, but suddenly she became aware of the fact they weren't exactly alone. In a sense. There was a body... And this Chryso-whatever had blood...
"Holy s**t! What did you do?!" Seiryuu pointed an accusing finger at the other girl, clearly not making any attempt to leave.
"I think you need to work on your definition of 'fun', lady." She added, swallowing involuntarily when she bit into... something. Well, she had been curious. Now she was just feeling annoyed. And maybe a little cautious, but not enough. Daekie LMAO! xD Sorry Chrys, Seiryuu can't remember that big long word you said...

"I am," Chrysocolla said - quietly, pleasantly, the semblance of a smile on her face (because throughout everything she had been able to fall back on this) - "equivalent in rank to a General of the Negaverse." She stepped towards Seiryuu, eyes dull. "I was corrupted by Queen Laurelite. I was recruited by General Umber. I have a sister who I can't help, and a friend who your people tortured for a week at the age of fifteen." Her voice kept even, calm, throughout all of it. "I do what I have to do. If I didn't fool him, he would have gone after any other girl instead, and now he's not going to hurt anyone ever again. He's going to die in this alleyway."
She breathed in. Breathed out. Wiped the blood tricking down to her lip off her face.
"I don't have to tell you any of this." She stepped forward again. "But, you know...I'm the nice one, really. I'm just tired of you." Her leg flashed out, a powerful kick aimed at Seiryuu's side.

A General of the Negaverse? Well, she earned points for at least knowing what the Negaverse was... but not the power level of a General. Or... whoever these other Negaverse people were for that matter. She found herself talking a step back, but a frown formed as she listened, glancing over Chrysocolla's shoulder at the-
"Wait, he's not dead yet?" She asked in surprise, taking another step backwards.
And then yelped as she received a kick to her side that knocked her just about to her knees, but she managed to toss a hand out and keep from completely falling.
"Alright, b***h lady. I sorta felt bad for you... but now I don't!" She got back to her feet in time to send a return kick back at Chrysocolla, though far less graceful. Seiryuu was not quite as skilled in fighting, but she knew a few things.

"Y-you stupid little girl," Chrysocolla snarled, stepping back from the kick, and it was terribly stereotypical but she didn't care. She was so tired of this. "You want a fight...? You want to be a defender of love and justice?"
Her hands clasped to her cracked sternum. "...Warhol Mood Reversal." A glowing orb formed in her hands, the size of a tennis ball; fluctuating, ethereal, almost like stained glass. She didn't move to attack again -- but she kept her hands clasped, her eyes sad as she stared at Seiryuu; her eyes were too old and tired for her youthful face, which was only just now starting to finally lose the last vestiges of baby fat.
"You want to feel good about yourself? Try and hit me again. And then I'll make sure you know how stupid this is."

Seiryuu just gave Chrysocolla one of those, "omg are you done bitching yet?" looks. "Okay first, you kicked me. Second... I dunno about the whole defender of love and justice, but a dead-dying guy?" She threw her hands up in exasperation. "How the hell am I supposed to turn my back on that?!"
She eased herself into a more prepared for attack type stance, glowering. Okay so this had developed into something she had not fully anticipated. The glowing orb that formed in Chrysocolla's hands finally made Seiryuu feel a little more wary. What the hell was that thing? She half expected it to get thrown at her, and was even prepared to try and dodge.
"Lady, I remind you.... you attacked me first!" Seiryuu took a step back instead of forward. "Frankly, I don't know enough about all this s**t to know what is and isn't stupid." She muttered. But it was pretty clear to her that her opponent was stronger. More experience? More power in general? She'd have to ask about that later. But for now, she stood her ground warily. Daekie SEIRYUU IS SORTA SORRY BUT NOT REALLY... also she heard caffeine works wonders...

Chrysocolla looked at Seiryuu like it was the easiest thing to understand, like it was the simplest possible choice -- and she huffed and crushed the orb inbetween her fingers, and it shattered into glittering dust, blown away on the breeze.
"He's not the kind of person that's worth saving." Her voice was disgusted -
Chrysocolla blinked out of existence, and in the next moment, she was behind Seiryuu and reaching her hand into the other girl's chest through her back; touching the senshi's starseed and it was wrong wrong wrong. She liked feeling like she was winning. "Then go home. Don't power up again, or I'll kill you one way or another." There was a dissonant serenity to her words.

She wasn't sure what to think with that statement. Briefly, she glanced back over at the body on the ground. Not worth saving... but whatever other thoughts she would have had disappeared as her opponent vanished. "W-What-"
Suddenly Chrysocolla was behind her. Seiryuu didn't have a chance to turn before the hand was thrust into her chest. And oh, the feeling was one she'd never experienced - or cared to feel again - and she let out a scream that quickly turned into a chain of very colorful words that would probably make ears burn. Because holy s**t there was a hand touching things...
"O-Okay... " She hissed out, trying to clutch at her chest while weakly attempting to knock Chrysocolla away. "I-I... I'll go... home... " Just make that feeling stop!

"Go home." Her voice had gone patient, calm, gentle. "Go home, so next time we meet I don't have to lay out your body for your family to find. I've learned you're not worth enough to corrupt. If you never power up again, Sailor Seiryuu, you're less likely to die."
Chrysocolla withdrew her hand. Took a step back. Waited for Seiryuu to turn around.
"Get out of here."
If you squinted, the look on her face could almost be interpreted as pleading.

There were no current words to really describe the feeling of having someone's hand in your chest and... and... what the hell exactly was she doing?! Corruption? Okay... yeah. She was definitely going home. And then sitting down with her team and really trying to pay attention to what they said. Again...
Gasping, and clutching at her chest, Seiryuu stumbled and twisted to stare wide-eyed at Chrysocolla. "I... home. I'll go home!" She squeaked out in fear. She felt so... violated.
Clearly there was stuff she had missed (no surprise) when all this senshi stuff was tossed at her. And now, she really wanted to fill in those gaps. But for now, she had enough sense - a rare moment - to step back from the other senshi. Another step. And then Seiryuu fled. Of course, she didn't make any promises about never powering up again. Or maybe she missed that part of the conversation...
