This was, finally, the day that Amphitrite had been waiting for. Her intentions had been voiced to Laurelite herself, meaning anyone lower who questioned her would simply have to voice their concerns to the general-queen. This was the first step, the corrupt thought to herself as she paced the room in HQ, her heels clicking on the floor, to something much bigger and brighter. This alone, all else she was undertaking aside, would show that she was capable of taking on a leadership role.

Alkaid and her cracked skin, radiating with power and the title of general, flashed in her mind's eye. She wondered, idly, if Alkaid still dreamed - if she still slept.

This was not the time for idle wondering.

The broadcast would be sent out via crystal communicator, and her heart thumped excitedly as she spoke, willing herself to keep her voice level and controlled.

Quote:
Hello, everyone. If you don't know me, my name is Amphitrite. This is a general call to all corrupts like myself to please come and meet me at HQ if you are able. Other agents, you are free to attend and observe, but this meeting is primarily intended for corrupts. Snacks will also be provided! Thank you!

Sure enough, she'd taken the time and effort to get some drinks, chips, doughnuts, basic fare like that to set up on a table. It seemed a little silly, that was true, but many of the corrupts were young - and what better incentive for young people than free food?

(She thought all of this as though she wasn't, herself, a young person.)

The russian blue had been out with Benitoite, patrolling and in her case looking for corrupted senshi, when the call had reached them and the green eyed guardian cat was all too eager to get down the head quarters and see this corrupted senshi calling a meeting, and whoever else would turn up. She knew that even if didn't want to go he'd eventually give in to her request, she would make sure he did, but she didn't need to do more than ask him once and he was nodding while petting her head.

Digging her claws into his cape and coat as she lay draped about his shoulders, her back legs to the right side and her head on his left shoulder, she waited for them to teleport and arrive down in Negaspace. Once comfortable the cat jumped off the Generals shoulder and onto the ground, turning to look at him, she turned back to face forward and lead the way to where they could both sense a corrupted senshi.

"I hope to see many at this meeting." She said, tail moving behind her gently, she hoped to meet many senshi and make them hers.

She's heard the call while walking along a back alley in the downtown city area. She hadn't expected it but when the call came she was quick in seeking out an agent who could bring her down into negaspace. leaving her ride behind, after thanking them for the teleport down, the dark skinned senshi of brains made her way toward the signatures she could feel. Why was there a meeting and for corrupted only? Was something important going on or some information they needed...but no one else did? She knew corrupted senshi were different from Negaverse officers but how different?

Shaking her head the dark pink hair trailed behind her as her heels clicked along the crystalline floor as she rounded a corner and continued down a hall to the meeting room which she stepped into, right behind a short General and a cat.

Chrysocolla was there, because of course she was -- even if this hadn't been a public call, it was still her sister making the call, and she loved Amphi dearly. ...even if Amphitrite had bigger problems, stuff Chrysocolla couldn't even comprehend. That was what adults did, right?

...Chrysocolla wasn't an adult, after all.

She didn't need to understand why they did things, only that they were done.

So - with a light flicker of magic, and the muted click of her boots on the crystalline floor, she entered the room - shoulders held in, trying to be unobtrusive, trying to be unnoticed. ...was that food? Oh gosh, was that donuts? Oh, that looked appetizing -- and because she wasn't quite paying enough attention, Chrysocolla tripped over a strand of vibrantly pink hair and went stumbling into its' much taller owner, mumbling apologies. "Ohmygosh I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention, I'm so sorry...!"

Serpierite wasn't a corrupt senshi. Far from it, occupying the position of a regular human negaverse agent. But curiosity piqued her interest.. and she sat in the corner of the negaspace, perched far above the others, in a crevice near the ceiling that would accommodate a single person's weight. There was no attempt to hide (as her aura could be detected) but merely discretion from her point of view.

Why a corrupt senshi needed to gather others.. was very odd indeed. What sort of plan were they hatching? She didn't hide her smile as she observed.

This was something he just had to see. Leucite wasn't going to lie to himself. He was curious what Amphitrite had planned. It wasn't that he didn't trust the corrupt... No - no that was a lie.

He didn't trust her.

He still remembered when he'd first met her. What he'd done to try and get her to talk. A shame really. Well hopefully she would surprise him.

But until that point - he was going to watch and observe. He had made sure not to pass his judgement of the corrupt onto Stibnite. She hated senshi enough as it was.

He stood somewhere at the back of the room, in a state of relative anxiety at what was already deemed to be his first official meeting. It was not even a meeting for the Negaverse, but for the Corrupted senshi (of which he was still learning about, bit by bit) - and yet he was still there, because he wanted to learn, to be able to be strong.

So he stood there, Cerussite's arms folded across his chest, shifting awkwardly from one foot to the other as he silently surveyed the others already in the room, wondering whether he was out of his league.

Red eyes were shadowed by the hood of her uniform as the Lieutenant stood just behind her commander watching the others gather in the room. When she had first heard the message, she had be confused by it. Then curious. The corrupt senshi were beings that she questioned more than anyone else. The magic within them was unnatural after all.

But when Leucite had mentioned coming, Stibnite could not pass the chance. So there she stood watching, scanning the room and taking in the faces. So far, most were female. Ironic.

"Any ideas?" She whispered to the male in front of her, eyeing the other lieutenant that had appeared as well.

He knew there were a fair amount of senshi on their side, corrupted senshi, but he had not met many of them much less seen a large gathering of them. This was something new for the petite General who had moved into the room, and letting Katya do her thing, he had found a corner of the room to settle himself into as he tried to keep from being noticed by those gathering. This was not a meeting for officers but for corrupted senshi, this wasn't a time nor place for him to have attention focused on his person.

So while he sensed other officers arriving his attention was focused on the corrupted senshi who were here, as he waited to see what other ones would turn up. Slate hued eyes focused on the entrench to the room as he stood in his corner, relaxed, his attention focused and unwavering.

She should have moved out of the doorway, she knew she should have, but she had been behind a General and a cat, so really it was her fault when her hair was stepped on and someone came stumbling into her person. Turning at the last moment, to let the person know they were on her hair, she had only just enough time to reach out with both arms to catch the stumbling into her.

"It's ok! It's my fault also." She said staring at the other. Taking in the others appearance she noted the other was lucky, their hair wasn't nearly as long as her floor trailing hair. "You're alright?" She asked in that heavy accent of hers, questioning pink eyes staring down at the other, hoping the other was alright and hadn't somehow hurt herself even if she couldn't find a way that was possible.

Amphitrite wasn't really all that surprised to see that there were more negaverse agents here than corrupts themselves. There was a reason she'd left it open for them to attend - corrupts were not inherently trusted, and she wanted transparency today. No, she was not trying to hide anything. No, she was not trying to revolt, purify, or do anything behind Laurelite's back. There was nothing remotely suspect here.

At least, that was the intent. Who knew. Some mistrust of their kind ran far deeper than something as simple as a talk could solve. But at least they would know Laurelite had put her stamp of approval on this, and it would spare them all a headache in the long run.

Still.

Some of the light left her eyes when she saw Leucite was among those who'd chosen to attend. Although it was little more than a brief pause before she put extra effort into her smile, greeting him with an enthusiastic, "Captain Leucite," deliberately warmed to soothe over the ache that still pressed too familiar in her chest whenever she saw him. She tilted her head to regard him, and noted with relief that her sister was there, too. Already tripping over the only other corrupt there (the one from the train), but Amphitrite smiled at the sight of her, taking solace in the knowledge that her only 'family' was there.

A general had come too, a cat in tow - and as delighted as she was to see the cat, she recognized the general. The one that'd been there at Ploutonion's corruption. The one that she swore she remembered from her captivity, too, however vaguely.

It figured she'd have to face some uncomfortable things by doing something like this.

However, someone did catch her eye. A lieutenant standing off to the side alone, looking not distrusting, but uncomfortable and out of place. "Everyone!" she called rather cheerfully. "Thank you so much for coming! Please feel free to help yourself to whatever you like until the meeting starts!"

Then, with that said, she made her way to the lieutenant - a redhead - what on earth was it with her and redheads lately? No matter. She flashed him a vibrant smile. "Hello, darling - I haven't seen you around before. Are you new, by chance?"

The exchange had not been missed and the tone of the senshi that appeared to be running the show made it clear it was forced.

As she made a point to recognize Leucite, Stibnite's eyes went to the back of her commander's head. "Some history here, sir? She does not seem thrilled to see you." The edge of a smirk appeared on her face but quickly faltered as she shot her eyes up towards the general that had appeared.

"Appears all ranks are attending this evening. Even the generals have a presence"

The enthusiastic greeting was taken with a small nod and a crooked grin. But beyond that, Leucite did not move to speak further with the corrupted senshi. If anything, he kept his gaze on her interactions with the other Lieutenant. His eyes also drifted over to the General in attendance, and he gave him a small salute and bow.

It was good to see him, it had been quite a while since he had. He made a note to rectify that at some point.

Leaning in to Stibnite a bit, he kept his voice low so that only she could hear him. "Some, I... Interrogated her before her corruption."

He grinned a little at the memories. "She wouldn't give me the information I wanted, so she ended up a little... broken."

Still...

"Observe, and look for any possible signs of... Well anything. Conscripts are useful - but trust is earned."

With that, he turned his attention back to Amphitrite and the other corrupts in the room. Trying to keep his gaze purely inquisitorial, and not acquistorial.

"That's a good thing. Leaders should always keep an eye on their subordinates."

While he knew some would think him here due to some distrust for the corrupted senshi, he knew some officers didn't trust them or held them as lower, he was here because of Katya who was at present making her way toward the one heading up this gathering. Rolling his eyes he might have followed after the cat, to greet tonights host, but his thoughts were derailed, at least for the moment, as he caught someone saluting him and..bowing?

For a moment he considered rolling his eyes but settled for pushing off the wall and heading toward his fellow officer, taking note of the other with him. "Evening." He greeted once close enough.

"It's been awhile." The words were spoken softly, no need to have others hearing him. This was a small gathering in a somewhat small room so voices could be lowered some, as his was. Slate eyes shifting from male to female before he nodded toward the refreshments. "Drinks and food?" He was planning on something to drink for himself, he wasn't much for eating as he'd already had dinner earlier.

A rather small dark brown kitten bounded out from under one of the chairs with a bell hop hat on his head and a letter in his mouth. The small guardian dropped the letter on the floor at Amphi's feet and rocked back on his haunches.

"Mail drop!" said Haymitch cheerfully. He trotted into the middle of the group and flopped down, expecting belly rubs.

No one said Haymitch, who'd been a guardian cat for all of a week and a half by his thinking, was particularly knowledgeable about what to do with it, but many of these senshi could want to send letters! Maybe to other agents or senshi in the meeting. He could be the note carrier of the meeting!
