Super Sailor Arthuradel, Chibi Senshi of Honor Arthuradel tried to shield herself against the wind. She looked down at Hania worried that her small friend would get blown away in this gale. Then a monster of gigantic proportions forced its way through the rift. It was huge and it had a glowing crystal imbedded in it that seemed to be full of strange energy. She watched as the monsters raced to attack the creature with the crystal.
"This is our chance!" She said to Hania as she reached down to scoop up the Guardian. She ran for a rift back to Destiny City, back to Earth. Then she heard the giant behind her fall under a merciless assault. She heard the sound of shattering crystal as the shards spread across the realm. She noted that monsters dove for the shards she wondered what they would do with them. But she had no time to think about this as she realized the rifts were closing she ran for the rift and jumped through with Hania. She was able to breath a sigh of relief once she was back in the safety of the city.

Corporal AndreiyaVyn deserved commendations. Or, they all did, really. He’d been on top of things, able to think rationally, able to pull the group together. Andreiya was still a bit scattered from getting sucked in here, but it was just another thing to add to his list of things he needed to improve on. He couldn’t let the Commodore down. He couldn’t let any of them down. He was focused now. He’d fired in every opening he had, he stayed close to Aliez, he never strayed from his side. If they were getting out of here, they were all getting out together. He had the advantage of a more powerful weapon than the Cadets and a bit more durability as well. And, he had Aliez, and a charged Source Stone, and a magic healing plant back at the house. But, he was proud of them! They were all working so hard, and there was a way out! He didn’t need to bark any commands, everyone seemed to have the right idea already. As soon as the giant monster had gone down, he’d started moving with the rest of them towards the exit. He didn’t want to rush ahead; if something came from behind, he wanted to make sure the Cadets had a better chance of getting through first. He’d stick with Aliez, as close as possible to make sure everyone got the most use out of his shield for as long as it was up. He didn’t need to be told to hurry but he took Vyn’s encouragement to heart. He only fired at whatever monsters got close enough to be of danger–otherwise, he was saving every blast for an emergency. They were getting out of here–no matter what.

DejaniraSuper Sailor Dejanira ran and fought as she went taking anyone who was too slow to move fast enough on their own with her. She shot her attacks at the gargoyles as she went along. She was worried that some would be trapped here if they didn't all get out. -------------------- ActaeaActaea was running as fast as she could and fighting the creatures as she went. She growled and attack with her scythes. She wanted out of here, she had things to figure out and she couldn't do that if she died here.

Corrupt Super FafnirHe could feel the sense of urgency ramp up to nearly unbearable levels, his anxiety ratcheting up with it till his nerves screamed with it. The pain, the uselessness of his arm, it all made him less than at his best, and there was no way he felt up to confronting a huge a** monster in this condition.
“Hurry up…” He hissed through his teeth, unable to keep the strain and the acid out of his voice as his rescuer helped him bind it against his body where it would be, marginally, more immobile than before. He truly didn’t mean to come off as rudely as he did, but it was impossible to tone that back right now. There was a faint thought that he’d have to apologize later and make it up to her, or him, later, when they both weren’t in mortal danger. He had to clench his jaw and bite into his lip as he was jostled, and as requested, kept his face turned away for whatever noises he wasn’t able to hold in. When it was finally done, he felt a profound relief, even though the pain had not subsided that much.
“T-thanks.” He managed to gasp out. “Come on… we have to find one of those rifts back to the city and get the <********> out of here…”
The fall of the giant thing, as other attacked it, shook the whole area and Fafnir stumbled, grabbing for his companion to keep himself up right.
There…
The monster had ripped a hole open, and the lights of the city shone in the normal night outside. “Lets go!” Fafnir said as he grabbed Aschera by the forearm and broke out into a stumbling run towards the opening.

Transcended Eternal IdaThe monsters were swarming the big one, and Ida was grateful the humans weren’t the only ones doing so. Though, it wasn’t like their would-be allies were much better… some still snapped at them as they went past, and more than once, she had to beat one off that decided they looked like easy targets. Dashing into the pocket dimension with her young companion in tow, Ida paused to look around and assess, noting they were going for the monster’s crystal.
“Stay close!” She said as she dropped Tachibana’s hand, throwing up her own as a trail of glowing petals fell from it. They stiffened into a bow shape and she grasped it, pulling back a string till a glowing arrow appeared between her hands. Sighting down it, she released, and watched as it soared across the distance, connecting and exploding as it hit the monster in the chest. Others were attacking it, and the smaller beasts took advantage of the damage she caused to tear into it more, widening the tears and cracks.
She watched as the smaller monsters, and the people trapped her with it, finally over came the giant and it fell, its claws cutting rents into the air as it went. The opening it created showed a familiar park and a familiar skyline, decorations flapping in the breeze.
“Come on, we can get out there!” Ida said as she pushed the young girl in front of her. “Run for it and I’ll follow. I want to hit some of these things so they don’t come through the opening… I don’t want to see what they’d do loose in the city.”
She ran beside Tachibana, shooting off her next arrows and switching to her petal darts part way, hitting as many as she could and downing a few of them.

Destiny City is warm, but there’s a slight breeze and the smell of distant food vendors. The city is motionless and the streets are empty, but it’s home. It’s comforting. There was only one exit from the mysterious pocket dimension, and the end result is that everyone seems to be exiting out through the same rapidly closing hole. Except– everyone made it out. In one last great gust, just as the portal was zipping closed, it shoved the last of the group out–along with a few stray wisps that seemed to have been sucked in and managed to work their way out, too. You don’t see any monsters. …But that doesn’t mean they didn’t make it out, too. You know there were other tears before this one, you know they weren’t all guarded. You don’t know if this is going to be a problem. But you’re here, you’re safe. Bits of broken crystals are scattered all around you, and some appear to have been kicked or scattered–or even sucked through some of the other portals before they closed up. There’s no telling how many might be scattered through the city, but maybe it’s worth picking one up–if you can manage. This isn’t a safe place. There are too many people from too many factions, and you don’t know how long it’s going to be before more people start showing up. So, go home. Celebrate. Live to fight another night. …And hope you don’t find any of those monsters creeping around town. Quote: Congratulations! You’ve destroyed the monster and escaped the pocket dimension. You’re home free–and even though you need to make a quick getaway, it’s not without a few rewards! Everyone who wrote 500 words at any point in time during the ORP can claim one Fractured Crystal Permanent Accessory:Quote: Fractured Crystal - A palm-sized crystal shard with dark clouds and a black tar that swirls inside of it; it has faint cracks along its surface. A fragment of the crystal from within the strange pocket dimension during the 2022 Star Festival. The user must hold the Fractured Crystal in the palm of their hand and slash through the air. Once per day they can tear a rift in space and pass through it to another location. While you may pass through immediately to your destination of choice (on the same plane of existence) you may also get trapped in a strange, dark dimension. This between-space is full of an oppressive air and a dark, sticky tar like substance covers all surfaces. There seem to be untapped amounts of energy here, and characters that drain energy may find this a surprising advantage while gathering energy. Time seems to pass strangely in this weird dimension and while you may feel like you’re here for up to two hours at a time, you may actually be gone anywhere from a few minutes up to an hour. If you are sucked into the strange portal, you will always be deposited at your location of choice afterwards. In rare situations, up to one other person may be sucked into the strange space as well as the wielder, but they will both be stuck in the between space and will feel significantly drained by the time they come out the other side. No matter how many characters you played or how many words you wrote, players can only claim one of these each. They will need to choose which character to assign the crystal; the character does not need to have participated in the ORP to find them. These items will also be added to the list of Permanent Accessories; if you win a Permanent Accessory during the course of the event you can claim for it, and you can also purchase these for 3 Crown Tokens at any point in time. Anyone who has completed The Gold Star can claim a Wisp as of this roleplay; some of them were sucked into the pocket dimension and have escaped along with the rest of the unfortunate civilians of Destiny City. If you have a character who participated in the ORP and want them to get a Wisp, you can write a closing post with the Wisp bonding to them as of this post. This ORP will be open until the end of the event on July 10th so if you finish the Gold Star between now and then and your character participated in this ORP you can include it in their closing post until that date. If you would like to claim a Wisp for a character who didn’t participate in the ORP, they can find them around Destiny City! Please make sure you read the information thread about Wisps and PM The Space Cauldron when you’re ready to claim! This ORP ICly takes place on Saturday, July 3rd and ICly it lasted for about an hour. ]The ORP is closed to new characters but you can make an exit post for existing characters if you have not yet hit word count!!

Sailor Neckar, Senshi of ProteaNeckar gave a sharp nod squeezing the other senshi's in return and turning to look at the monster and try to figure a way to be of use. He didn't seem to have to though, because as the other senshi was answering him the monster was coming down, falling defeated. "Bat the flying monsters away and we'll make a run for it," he said tugging her hand he started running, long legs giving him an advantage and batting at the monster that were all trying to get to the exit. They were so close, and it seemed like the wind was helping the out. He held the other senshi's hand tight not wanting to lose her as he made his way out into the open, the warm of night. He released with other senshi's hand, "Glad to be out of there, I'm Neckar by the way. Do you mind helping me find my friend? She got sucked into one of those portals while we were talking, and I couldn't exactly look for her in there."

Tjilaki made sure to hang on tight to the other Senshi as they ran and batted the smaller monster away. Her eyes were on getting her and him out of where they were. Finally being free and being able to breathe in the air that was Destiny City she was glad and happy to finally make it back to the outside world. She didn't know if any of the creatures made it out too, but she looked around and saw several other senshi's she knew that they would hopefully track them down and eliminate them. She offered her hand to the other Senshi. "I am Tjilaki and I don't mind helping you find your friend."

Pharos, Squire of ChronosIt didn't take long to run through the exit and into the street of Destiny City in the area where the star festival was being held. She frowned slightly because she had been home on her farm and now she was in city which wasn't close to the rurals, at all. She turned and looked Lacille, "that was crazy, did you make it out alright," she asked wanting to make sure the senshi was okay. She almost tripped over a piece of crystal when she turned and bent down to pick it up. "Huh ... is this apart of the crystal that was in the monster," she said holding it up to look at the very interesting looking shard, "its very pretty in its own way, hopefully not dangerous.

Shangri-La, Knight of PlutoSailor Rhea, Chibi Senshi of LaughterWhatever Shang was expecting it wasn't whatever Mu did. He felt her touch him and next thing he knew he was filled with ... with rage. He'd been angry before, but never enough to want to ... to swing his weapon with more force and more fury. He was slashing at the creature and stabbing any of the little flying monsters that got in the way. His breath was heavy, chest heaving and as he continued on his rampage against the monster. When it fell, he continued to attack, before just as it started it stopped and Shang slumped leaning on his staff for a moment before whirling around and looking at Mu with stern eyes. "Do not ever do that again and especially not on me ... or Maia for that matter." He huffed before sighing and turning to the portal which was closing, "come on, let's get out of here before we are trapped." He didn't take off running until he knew Rhea and Mu were with him. He was exhausted from whatever Mu had done to him, but they need to get out of there. Rhea hadn't seen her cousin actually use her magic before, but she didn't think it was as serious as she was letting it on to be. She was curious though and genuinely thought it would help. She was pulled close to her cousin and got so see what the magic did, as Xander seemed to go at the monster without regard for ... well anything. She didn't even think he had his own life in mind, as he repeatedly jumped at and attacked the monster, not stopping even after the monster was down. His target simple changed. It was clear that he didn't like the attack and Rhea nodded when he said to never do it again even though she hadn't been the one to actually do it. When it was time to get out of there, she ran as fast her legs would carry her, batting away the monsters that were trying to flee. She almost tripped because it seemed the wind wanted to be helpful and give them a push but coming out on the other side of the portal and being in Destiny City once more was nice. What was nice, was the surplus of chaos energy she felt more keenly now. "I think we should maybe get out of here."

Mu Arae, Super of BrutalityMu already knew the effect her powers would have on Shang, which was why she was glad she made sure to keep Rhea out of the way. She watched as Shang started decimating the monster before them, a little scared of the ferosity that he was attacking with. It was a good thing he was one of the sweetest people ever, god forbid if the man ever raged like that without the aid of her powers. When Shang was leaning on his staff like he had the s**t knocked out of him, she tentaively walked forward with her cousin behind her. "I cant promise that, you know if she asks Ill do it." Granted she hopped Maia would not ask that of her since she knew the woman was already scary in her own right. Add the boost her powers gave and well....Some one was dying that day. Mu started running as fast as she could, throwing punches whenever she could, making sure to keep an eye on her cousin. Once they were pushed out of the portal, she skidded to a halt, feeling an overwhelming amount of chaos energy. She couldnt agree more with her cousin, "Yeah, Im not in the mood for that situation." She quickly grabbed Rhea's hand, looking back at Shang. "Meet back at your place? Or Maia's?" Granted once they were safe, she was going to power down for obvious reasons. She didnt wait for a reply, figuring he would text her his answer, taking off with her cousin's hand firmly in hers. Protogenia, DMS of StasisProto knew the moment the creature fell, she would want a piece of that crystal. Not only was it shiny, but it seemed like it was calling to her. She shifted on Acuben's back, trying to reach a particular piece on the ground with her uninjured arm. She almost fell off, but managed to latch onto one for her to have all her own. "Sorry...." She was distracted while looking at the shiny piece of rock in her hand. She wondered just what this little piece of rock would be able to do for her in the future. For now, she hopped Acubens would allow her to hang on her back for a bit longer. The amount of order signatures in the area told her now wouldn't be a good time to try and be alone, no matter how many questions she wanted to ask.

Lacille senshi of booksXLacille ran to to the exit with Pharos and she was glad she ended up picking up a shard on their way out and felt something bond to her. She was dazed and confused so she wasn't quite sure what it was. She sighed out "Yes this whole summer has been madness." She looked hers over as well. "Curious, want to get some tea with me?" She needed to relax a bit before she would be able to get any sleep.

He would text her and his sister to meet up at his house later. There may have been more people in his house, but there was also more space for these types of conversations. Neither he nor Maia wanted to introduce their partners to all this after being able to avoid it for so long. They'd had so much peace for quite some time, but all that seemed to be over for the moment. Rhea was dragged off by her cousin, not that she was complaining. She had certainly had enough adventuring for the day. She hadn't meant to go on the adventure they just had... none of them meant to, at least she didnt think so.

My friend is about yay high," he started showing with his hand up to Eliza's 4'11" height, "and wearing a head scarf and a lot of pink and green." He looked around trying to spot her and calling out, "Tink ... Tink did you make it out?" Their nicknames for each other were Tink and Pan, but they didnt often use them when they were out and about so he wasn't worried about people putting two and two together. ---- Pharos looked at Lacille and nodded, "yes that would be fine. I just need to make sure I let my best friend know Im okay. I sort of disappeared right in front of him..." She paused swearing she heard her nickname, and looking around, but not seeing Willie, though she was certain she heard someone call her. "Weird I could have sworn I heard him call me just now." xdeathxbyxlovex He is looking for Pharos feel free to spot her

Lacerta, Super DMS (Bandages)For one single moment it didn't appear like anything was going to happen. But then it did. The giant beast that was tearing holes in the fabric of reality suddenly fell over. Her gaze watched the progression of the creature's toppling over before she sighed and raced after Acubens. There was still the random thought that maybe she should try and locate her hive because it would be obvious that if the hive was left in here, it wouldn't survive. Probably a good chance already that the inhabitants had perished.
No time to think on it now. Now all that she wanted to do was follow Acubens and the group of dark mirrors out of the rift and back into Destiny City, where she could only hope that, at least until Halloween, things stayed as normal as possible.[[ Lacerta exit ]]
