It had been a bit -- a while, honestly -- since Chrysocolla had socialized with other officers of the Negaverse outside of her immediate circle and all that it entailed -- but when the Ascendant General said she had found something, you didn't just show up, you said where do I go. It might've had more than a little to do with a helpless, pointless puppy crush, but this was Alkaid: who wouldn't feel that way, when confronted with that sort of power?
She wouldn't have necessarily trusted a General, and although Lepidolite was definitely trustworthy, well... it might be best to be with her kind, if not kin. (Was Amphitrite around? She didn't see her. She thought she heard her. But the crowd was pretty big, so that didn't mean much, since she couldn't see over people's heads -- and a lot of people sounded the same.)
Chrysocolla fell in place with Haumea and Alkaid's ranks, scanning the crowd, and tried not to feel anything regardless of who she spotted or didn't spot. She had no eyes for Faustite and Aue at all, and all eyes for Alkaid.

Sailor Mab
Mab did not want to go to the Rift, but when one's General said jump...well. Blah blah ******** blah, as the expression went.
The corrupt stood around waiting with a nail file, using one side to idly buff imagined imperfections out of perfectly manicured nails while waiting for this Portunus bullshit to be put into motion so he could get out of this creepy goddamn place. The Rift wasn't safe for senshi, but...well...the trip hadn't been made without escort, so that had been safe enough. Plus, there were quite a few familiar faces - none that seemed too excited to see Mab's, however.
Things got rolling, eventually - and, joy of joys, they were all gonna split up and play follow the leader.
The moment Mab realized it was Uva leading one of the teams, he swished himself right on over to the familiar general with arms crossed in a manner that suggested nothing short of Beyonce herself could cause this Queen to move from his side.
[Prompt #1 Answer:]MAB will be following Uvarovite to the the tavern.
[Prompt #1 Answer:]Captain Carnotite will be following Lepidolite to the marketplace.
+5 points
Never would she tire of attention. Any press was good press, in some situations. The weight of a gaze held the same sentiment. The who, that what, the where, so on. She watched the man's face intently as he looked her over, waiting to see if perhaps he might show a hint of curiosity or disinterest (tragic, but fair). He didn't try to poke the bits of electricity around her, or her metal hands, didn't try to grab anything. That alone gave him plenty of points. That he spoke casually further eased her, and her arms crossed loosely before her. "Careful where you step in here. Be a true shame to ruin a good face in the Rift." She kept her voice light, but it was a legitimate concern. The Rift wasn't the friendliest of places, after all. Injuries were... well. Common.
That a group stepped forward ahead of them silenced her, and Carnotite turned her three eyes towards them. Immediately her gaze caught on the General King, in part due to his being the only face she knew, and she bit her tongue slightly to keep from sighing. Look there were reasons she took a job at Romano's... even if her glamour didn't allow her much time, and the remote job didn't give her a lot of excuses to be around the campus.
But her gaze narrowed at the senshi up there. One did well at explaining the situation--again she glanced up at the tower, more impressed with the structure now that it's use was announced--but the other... Oh now what was she? As they began to split into groups, she offered a whimsy smile towards the man with the cane. "Such is the life of a soldier in the field. But yes, let's."
A few steps were taken before she turned her head to peer at him once more, curious about the lieutenant. "Of course, my manners escape me. I am Carnotite. Whom do I have the pleasure of addressing~?"

[Prompt #1 Answer:]Corrupt Sailor Rigel will be following Uvarovite to the the tavern.
+5 points
He hadn't been sure what to think of the whole summons from the start, minus, of course, his immediate intrigue to be able to go into the Rift. "Have you ever been in here before? In general, anyways." The question was directed to Carnelian, Rigel's eyes bright with his mirth and glee. He wasn't stupid enough to think he could be safe and sound within the Rift--he'd gotten all the same warnings as surely any other senshi serving the Negaverse--but it didn't change his fascination with the place. Not to mention the fact there were entire villages, perhaps towns... cities? The Eternal senshi who explained the mission stated the use of the tower once it could be fixed. What else lay within the Rift?
Rigel had thought perhaps he might linger with Seraphinite and the senshi who also served under Jet--wait what was his name? Oops...--but the split up just after General Jet appeared seemed to prove otherwise. "We'll stick close to agents, don't worry," Rigel assured Seraphinite before the large Captain moved off towards a different group. Youma ate up senshi like snacks. The youma in this area didn't even like the Negaverse agents. This would be... interesting.
He stuck close to Carnelian as it was, eyes scanning about at the different sorts also following the top hat wearing General towards the Tavern. An idea struck, and he laughed softly. "Think there's still any alcohol left in there?"
Seraphinite was given a roll of Gadolinite's eyes. He wasn't really taking the situation lightly, not when he knew what it meant for a Corrupted Senshi to be in the Rift - but still, something about the Captain made Gadolinite want to tease him a little; like needling a sibling. Which, since they were both under Jet's supervision, was close enough as it was.
"I did not come here on own," he said. "I followed others. So far, so good. I have not yet been eaten. Maybe youma are vaiting for big strong agent to eat instead," he added, with a grin flashing in Seraphinite's direction. There was something to be said about buoying the situation they were all currently in; either he was forced to admit they were all in a very, very dangerous place, or he could try and keep his mind sharp by silly jabs.
He didn't jump when Jet's voice sounded from behind him, but he did turn his head to glance over at their General, unencumbered by excess height as he was. Jet's face was a riot of anger and annoyance; a look that Gadolinite knew only too well nowadays. Still, there was a part of him that was pleased to see the other, because if anything, it meant there was an actually decent General here as opposed to the rest of the pretend ones.
"I do not vant to be bait," said Gadolinite with a frown. "I vill not let them use us as bait. That is bad for Negaverse. Surely they cannot be that stupid."
But, well. Who knew. He gave a little wave to both Rigel and Carnelian, pivoting back to the other two he was now stuck with - though at least he didn't mind in this case.
"I vill follow orders," said Gadolinite to Jet. "I vonder vhat it is that is going to happen."
To be perfectly honest, Carnotite's any press is good press mentality was pretty much what Alabaster himself thought, on a superficial level. On a more personal level, he was not about to do anything that would make him look stupid and or foolish and or ridiculous and or like he didn't know what he was doing, so he was damned if he was going to let anyone upstage him.
He did, however, perk up significantly at the compliment to his face, Alabaster's shoulders pushing back. He gave the woman - whatever she was - a brief, white toothed grin, a momentary flash of bright teeth in the hazy purple lighting that wafted around them all. "Why thank you, I very much agree with that sentiment," he said airily. "It wouldn't do to ruin anything as perfect as this."
He gestured at himself with a gloved hand, because duh. Alabaster was grateful someone had noticed how awesome he was.
His fingers twirled the cane dramatically between them, and Alabaster stretched out his other hand towards the woman, quite forgetting that he had been irritated and irrationally annoyed at the whole situation not five minutes earlier. An appeal to his ego was always a good way to get him to be back on board with things here's looking at you Sinoite..
"Lieutenant Alabaster," he said, with all the impressiveness he could muster behind it. "What made you, uh, follow the call, such as it was this time?"
[Prompt #1 Answer:]General Tourmaline will be following Uvarovite to the the tavern.
+5 points
She had not arrived in time to mingle, although she had spotted more than one familiar face in the crowd. It was incredible the numbers they could amass at times like this, when there were things to do and adventures to be had. Danger? Who worried about such things when there was the power and force of numbers?
General Tourmaline could not say in honesty that she was fond of the idea of splitting up those who were, in one way shape or form, connected to her. The nagging voice of reason said that it was a good thing. If they split up properly it was a good way to ensure the success of the overall mission-- that was arrogance overriding reason. She had such confidence...
A fair amount of that confidence bolstered by denial and nerves was supported by relief and reassurance when she saw Aue join the group lead by Alkaid and Haumea, accompanied by Zinkenite and a number of others. Lalande and Cursa would be fine. Aue would be fine.
Tourmaline drifted towards Uvarovite in part because he was the most familiar and it seemed like the most natural thing to do, and in part because that was where Mab had gone. The tension around the Senshi of Spindles could be sliced easily, his discomfort more than obvious. "We'll be getting on with things shortly, I'm sure," she said aloud followed by a soft aside, "I don't care for it down here any more than you do. I'd like to say that the feeling of wrong gets better as you grow used to it, but I won't lie to you. The sooner we find what we're looking for, the sooner we can all leave."

[Prompt #1 Answer:]Corrupt Sailor Cursa will be following Alkaidand Haumea to the cottages.
+5 points
To say that Cursa was pleased to have been dragged down to the Rift would have been an incredible lie, a fanciful story... An utter load of horse s**t. This was the wrong time of year for forays into madness. Every hour that she wasn't at school or asleep she was at practice, powering up on her way home between in an attempt to keep up with 'quota'.
She wanted to go places. She wanted to prove herself. She wanted so much... But she didn't want to be here.
Sulking and dragging her feet would get her nowhere, though. She could feel Tourmaline's gaze from across the room, the thought that the General might be judging her even from afar enough to make her straighten up and square her shoulders as she fell in beside Lalande among so many other Corrupt Senshi.

Corrupt Sailor Meridiana
As she waited for their hosts to finish explaining why they were all summoned Meridiana couldn’t help but glance over to the group of agents with an almost proud, if not overconfident tilt to head, to see if that blue haired ninja dressed agent dared to take another peak. Alas he did not for the rest of their speech Oh well… perhaps she had been mistaken. Unlike the two captains she had been chatting with upon arrival, he at least seemed to have some class much like Arabia.
By the time they had finished with their introductions she made a mental note of where the feathered lieutenant stood. “To avoid drama,” Meridiana looped her arm through Arabia’s and leaned her head against his toned shoulder. “I think you n’ I should head to the tavern. What do you say?”

[Prompt #1 Answer:]Corrupt Super Sailor Noctua will be following Alkaidand Haumea to the cottages.
+5 points
It was like a dream when the doors open and the leaders stepped out. Not because of the combined power of them all lined up before them but... because Alkaid was there. Noctua's eyes grew to the size of dinner plates as the picture from those files that she poured endlessly overcame to sudden, stunning life before her. Her knees felt weak again, as when she witnessed the birthing of a new queen, so long ago by Cinnabar's side. The power that dripped from the spider webs along her flesh stunned Noctua to her core, sung to her bones, and pulled on her soul.
Benitoite pulled the sour scout away from her and Noctua knew that he was freeing her to go where she pleased. And go she did. Her feet carried her faster than she had gone before, following the hum of power that oozed from Alkaid at every turn. God, she was more beautiful than the pictures on her dossier had depicted. All chaos and control and beauty. Noctua had to pick her jaw up off the floor as she approached, nearly bowled over by the sheer force of it all.
In the end, she anchored herself to a familiar face, if only familiar in passing. Chrysocolla, a soldier from Cinnabar's team, had slunk over in this direction as well, and Noctua gravitated towards the familiarity. She was also glad to note that General King Zinkenite had seen fit to follow them as well. She passed him a small half-smile in greeting. The acrid scent of smoke told her of another powerful ally, grown now since she had last seen him.

[Prompt #1 Answer:]Corrupt Alum of the Abyss will be following Alkaid and Haumea to the cottages.
+5 points
Summoned for a mission, Alum had 'hopped' to it with his usual enthusiasm, giddy at the prospect of exploring more of the rift, (and not being hunted down by various youma in the process). Grinning ear to ear, the super senshi bound to those gathered, and gasped with he saw the corrupt ascendant and other corrupt senshi gather and begin to congregate. Others!!! Like Him!!!! His heart was aflutter with glee at the sight of his fellow corrupts, despite knowing so few of them, and others only in passing.
As Haumea said there were youma, mad with hatred- well that hardly phased Alum. That was par the course for youma and corrupt senshi anyway. Now they were just angry at everyone so hey, less direct anger! Anger equality! At the talk of groups, Alum was practically vibrating his joy. Never mind the general king, the cat, (who he woul coo over and give pets to later), Alum zeroed in on the other corrupts, smiling and star eyed in their presence. "Hi!" He squeaked out, Eyes darting between all the corrupts present. "Can I come with the rest of you? Please? I promise, I will be good!" He was quick to beg.
"I'll kill anyone you want if you let me!" And quick to offer his brand of 'helpful assistance'.
[Prompt #1 Answer:]Vladimirite will be following Uvarovite to the the tavern.
+5 points
Already a bit worn from the dramatics, Vlad assumed the worst of the situation. The place was void of life outside of youma, and they were about to enter a domain that would eat them alive. Literally in this instance.Still, who was he to ignore direct orders? Sucking it up, Vlad made his way to the general. Out of all locations, the tavern seemed most likely to not house a deadly plethora of youma wanting to kill them and slurp up their starseeds. God help him, he'd just do this and work at trying to fly under the radar as per th usual. His dramatics were for theater, not for this.
[Prompt #1 Answer:]Pyrite will be following Lepidolite to the marketplace.
+5 points
Grinning and gold eyes alight with madness, the nearly youmified Pyrite stalked her way to the general kings side, salivating from being in the proximity to such power. If only she could reach in and snatch HIS starseed. Too bad he would probably be able to repel her. Maybe she could steal one from another captain? A lowly lieutenant? Mask it with a youma attack. Yes, that would work nicely. It's not like they could blame her. If she managed to kill them and take their starseed it would be their own fault for not protecting it better anyway.
She swallowed, thinking more and more how she might sneak kill another agent for a quick energy bite to eat.

Corrupt Sailor Hatsya
Once again Hatsya’s free hand balled into a fist at her side. However, when the half-youma captain gave his introduction she took the opportunity to jerk her wrist from Benitoite grasp.
It took all of her willpower to not throw a punch at that doll-like face of his while he remained distracted by their new creature-esk companion. Just like Nocturna, he too just pledged his service like it was a common commodity.Pathetic kiss a** This time she did not stop herself from rolling her eyes, there had to be better generals to swear themselves to than the blonde beside them.
“You want me nearby? Fine…” She leveled a glare that promised a threat she dare not speak out loud with others so close. “Don’t touch me again.” Next time he tried Hatsya refused to hold back.

Lt. Dravite
Lieutenant Dravite stood at attention as the four figures introduced themselves and delivered their objectives. He did not much care which group he ended up in should Stibnite ask him to offer his aid elsewhere. However, given how this meet and greet turned out, he suspected as an apology of sorts she would probably ask that he accompany her and Leucite scope out the residential district.

[Prompt #1 Answer:]Lieutenant Strengite will be following Lepidolite to the marketplace. +5 points
The sassy lieutenant had received the 'orders' while she had been out trolling for victims and the energy she could get from them. It was tempting to ignore it since she really didn't see any benefit in it for her, seriously showing up for a recon mission sounded boring and not terribly beneficial to anyone but the person the mission was for so why would Strengite show up? It didn't really make any sense.
She finally decided to go mostly because she realized that by showing up she could possibly gain a favor from whoever was running this shindig and she could mingle with more officers. Which meant that she could maybe find more people, preferably straight guys, that she can use in one way or the other. Beni was good and all, especially since he was a General, but he was gay... and wasn't really wrapped around her little finger like she would have preferred. Ah, well. It was what it was.
So there she was standing in a run down courtyard full of the typical crystals and a growing mass of negaversers. She even spotted a few corrupts, she needed to bug Beni about getting one of those because they seemed pretty useful. Magic had to be better then her silly fly swatter that's for sure. The curvy lieutenant contemplated the gathered crowd, silver eyes taking in the mixing group as she wondered just who she should approach and her best tactic to get them as a follower. She was still standing there in the shadows observing when four people spoke up. First was a silver haired fellow, a General who stated that he was going to the Tavern. Strengite snorted softly as she mentally quipped, 'Isn't it a little early for a drink?'
The second man introduced himself as General King Lepidolite, that alone had her raise a pale brow but then he mentioned a marketplace. Shopping. If ever there was something she enjoyed more then boys, it was shopping. The place might be trashed but there was likely little trinkets that she could 'collect'. That was rather tempting however... what were the last two offering?
Residential? No thank you. Yes there might be little things she could pocket but the market had a much better potential of it being nice things rather then trash that most people collect. With a roll of her eyes she sashayed towards the gathering around the General King and the other marketplace spelunkers, a grin tugging at her lips when she happened to spot a diminutive blonde among the gathering. Apparently Beni wanted to go shopping as well. This should be interesting and beneficial. Fun.

[Prompt #1 Answer:](INSERT CHARACTER NAME) will be following Lepidolite to the marketplace.
+5 points
Neptunite did not want to be here, frankly, but he hoped it didn't show, (And assumed from years of a trained poker face that it didn't); because he had the feeling that, like society reporters, scandal rags and other completely pathetic forms of life one step up from an intestinal worm, most of these folks probably found the idea of other people's discomfort appealing and would jab at it like a badly written horror movie child with a pin, and congratulate themselves for the effort.
He didn't like this place, he didn't like being surrounded by warped creatures with alarming tendencies to do things like ooze or burn, or be chitinous, and he didn't like the company.
Which wasn't really new, he told himself, as he adjusted the drape of his coat, as though there were style critics in this... place.
He'd attended gatherings where he liked most of the attendees about as much, just... these creatures and this place were likely to actually stab you in the kidney with a fork rather than simply doing so metaphorically.
He could do this. It was just another errand to put up with, and he could go home after this and do something decadently relaxing and pretend it wasn't any worse than fund raising or show critics or itchy-socks.
He glanced around at the gathered crowd, decided no one was ordering him any differently (yet) and took matters into his own hand, edging into the group gathering for the marketplace. They seemed ... enthusiastic and positive anyway, and some of them looked competent and powerful. Someone had to make up for his damned dental floss.
