I'm not one to force my characters into romances or plan them out before they happen; I just let them happen if they do or let them fall apart if not. This is generally my stance not just on romance, but pretty much any aspect of roleplay - as long as it isn't god-moding, I'm down for it. As far as I'm concerned, any roleplay I start could potentially end in my character's falling in love or corruption or death or anything else. That's how open I am to improv. The only thing I ask is that whatever happens should happen with proper reasoning, progression, and development; ie. love at first sight will not be a thing with my characters. Lust at first sight, maybe, but not real love.

Another example is my character, Kit, may be pretty promiscuous, but I will not say 'no' to romance for him because I can never say with 100% certainty that your character won't be the one to change his mind. They'll have to prove it through rp, but it's possible. Same for any other roleplay outcome or possibility. I may not prefer to have my character die, but if that ends up being the logical outcome of the plot and that's what my (and others') characters' actions have lead up to, then I won't say no to or try to prevent it as a player.

You don't have to ask me in advance or warn me if you want to attack my character or insult them or glomp them or confess to them or whatever so long as you leave them open to be able to have dodged or shrugged it off or taken it in stride. I'm the sort of roleplayer who believes that improv is one of the main (and, in my opinion, best) aspects of roleplaying, so feel free to surprise me!

On that note, if you are the sort of person who prefers or requires a warning or permission to do something to their character before it happens in roleplay, please let me know ahead of time (like before we even start the roleplay) because I don't tend to think about things like that. >_< My characters tend to do stuff before I can think about whether or not I should discuss it with the other character's player first and I can be rather impulsive because I figure that if the other player really doesn't want it to happen, they can just play it off in their next post or, if absolutely necessary, simply ask me to change my post. If you'd like to avoid doing either of those things, though, just let me know and I'll do my best to keep it in mind.

I pride myself on being very difficult to offend and I consider my characters completely separate from myself, so just because you or your character might have a problem with mine (many of which can be real jerks sometimes), I won't take it personally, so please don't worry! Do whatever you want to them! I won't mind and I'm guessing they'll probably have deserved whatever's coming to them. When it comes to roleplay, I adore conflict! It's my favorite kind of interaction, as I feel it brings out aspects of characters that aren't normally seen or explored in a usual or friendly setting.
