Sadalsuud had stumbled on the ballroom more by chance than anything else.
She hadn't had any real destination in mind when she had set off wandering after nibbling on some of the crystals that were being provided to them for meals - okay if she was being honest she hadn't had any destination in mind - but at some point it seemed like she had probably taken a wrong turn somewhere.
It wasn't the first time that it had happened to her and was probably not going to be the last time - because the hallways here had a way of managing to seem to somehow flow into each other.
Eventually after wandering past a set of stairwells and some more hallways however, Sadalsuud had found herself well here.
Like the other rooms of the castle it was grandly decorated with murals and busts decorating the walls, but it was the ceiling that held her attention, her footsteps faltering to a halt as green eyes took in the way that it had been painted to look like a starry galaxy of some sort in awe.
It was...
It was absolutely beautiful - especially with the way how the grand chandelier seemed to make everything sparkle and it was perhaps why it took her a few moments to realise that she wasn't actually alone in the wide open space that made up the ballroom.
But eventually she looked back down and eventually spotted the other figure, the heels of her shoes tapping gently against the floor as she approached with a friendly smile "Hi..." she began, voice trailing off as she realised that she recognised the figure.
At least she was pretty sure that she did - because whilst the aura wasn't quite as she remembered and the outfit was somewhat changed - Sadalsuud was pretty sure that it was Sinope standing just up ahead of her–
Well make that mostly sure.Kitomyx Hope this works for you but if not the lmk and I will tweak :3

The redheaded sensei had been staring upward, appearing to be caught in a daze with his arms hanging limply at his sides as he stood in the middle of the room. He turned his head slowly when he heard someone speak, hazel eyes peering out from under the shadow cast over his face by his hood. His gaze appeared unfocused at first, but when Sadalsuud came into view, it sharpened rapidly and he blinked. "Oh...Sadalsuud. Hello," the teen greeted, remembering to smile even if it was delayed. "I've been wondering where you've been."
Was that saying too much? Did that imply that he thought about her or cared more than he should have? Well...maybe that didn't matter right now. In this world, all the Dark Mirror Sensei seemed to have was each other to rely on. There seemed little point in trying to keep others at bay, or at least putting up a show of it. "What brings you here?"
He seemed to have forgotten or not realized that anything had changed about his appearance or aura since they had last spoken. Though it was difficult to tell at first with the shadow of his hood, a closer inspection of his face would reveal dark circles under his eyes. Though he struggled to keep his concentration, his vision swam in and out of focus and when he turned to face her, he swayed unsteadily on his feet.litian ((It's perfect, thank you! ^_^ Sorry for the delay!))

The taller senshi turned at the sound of her voice turning mostly sure into totally sure as she caught sight of red hair and familiar hazel eyes.
Sinope blinked at her for a moment, as if just noticing her, before smiling.
Waving Sadalsuud stepped a bit closer, her smile widening slightly in answer to the other's smile "Your outfit's changed" she said, it occurring belatedly to her that she was probably stating the obvious.
"And I've been trying to wander around a bit" she said, a rueful note slipping into her voice as she added "Although it's mostly just been to the library or the big mirror."
The rueful note slipped into her voice as she admitted "But I kind of came here by accident - I took a wrong turn somewhere I think and then just kept walking."
Sadalsuud didn't regret doing so however - because the room really was beautiful and she hadn't had the chance to catch up with Sinope since that first terrible night when Queen Altea had rescued them from the collapsing room by pulling them all here–
Although...
Although her friend didn't seem to be looking so good.
She frowned and opened her mouth with the intention of asking Sinope if he was okay, but then found herself stepping forward as he suddenly swayed unsteadily as her hands reached out in an awkward attempt to try and help steady him.

"It...has?" His brow furrowed for a moment as he struggled to remember something. "Oh yeah...heh, a black mirror in the castle sucked in me and this other lady and spat us back out looking different. Scared the ******** outta me..."
He spoke distantly as if describing a dream rather than something that had actually happened. "I guess...I didn't know what to expect from becoming a Super Senshi, especially since I wasn't trying to, but I'd no clue it was anything like that. Maybe it's just 'cause we're in this world, though." Sinope laughed weakly.
The whole process had been much like when he'd first been awakened as a senshi, come to think of it, but startling and unexpected as it was, the experience hadn't been any less alarming the second time around. "Too bad it didn't spit us out with new food instead of new clothes. That would have been the best promotion present," he joked.
Nodding at the mention of the library, he conceded, "I've gone there a lot, too. There are so many books, but it's a shame we can't read them. Still there's a lot to learn from the pictures."
Sinope didn't seem to mind in the least that Sadalsuud came to the ballroom on accident. He couldn't quite remember now, but he figured it was fairly likely that was how he had ended up there as well. "I probably did too. Heh...I wonder if we can find our way back." He had been so captivated by the painted murals and the closest thing they'd seen to a real sky since they had come to this world that he had lost track of pretty much everything else.
When he saw Sadalsuud reach out and felt her touch him, he struggled to understand why before comprehending that she had steadied him and thus kept him from falling. Ugh...he felt so weak. Why had he thought to wander this far from his room in this state? Had he been deluded by desperation into thinking he could find some way off this world that no one else had yet?
"Sorry," he murmured, the word tasting foreign on his tongue with how rarely he used it. Rarer still was how often he found himself needing to rely on others, but he knew if he wanted to get back to his room without crawling or using some similarly pathetic method, he would have to have Sadalsuud's help. If he was going to ask her a favor, though, he wanted to be able to do something for her in return. What could he do, though?
Wait...perhaps there was one thing. "Hey...Sadal," he asked after clearing his throat to make his voice sound stronger than he felt. "...Did you ever find out what your power did?"

Sinope seemed momentarily surprised at her comment about his uniform, his brow furrowing for a moment - and then he mentioned something about a strange black mirror and it was Sadalsuud's turn to be surprised.
"I thought the mirrors here didn't work" she blurted out, her face visibly startled. Although...
Although it still didn't sound like the mirrors that she was more used to.
"But it still sounds super weird - I'm glad you came out of it okay."
Although perhaps 'okay' wasn't quite the right word because her friend really didn't look too good.
"I'm sure we can" her voice was a little distracted as she belatedly responded to Sinope's comment about finding their way back as Sadalsuud did her best to continue to try and help steady him "And it's okay - you don't need to apologise."
The question about her magic took her by surprise, the surprise visible in her face as she shook her head "Apart from looking pretty no - no I haven't" she admitted ruefully, "And pretty probably isn't going to be much use here.

With a feeble chuckle, the male sailor scout gave a slight shrug. "I thought so too, but one of the mirrors we passed by looked like it had something moving in it. We thought it might have meant a way out, but while we were investigating, it swallowed us in. Hehehe...as if we didn't have enough to be suspicious about in this crazy place." He moved his head almost imperceptively from side to side.
"It spit us back out in what I think was a few seconds, but I freaked out for an embarrassing while after that. It was only later someone pointed out what must have happened because our outfits had changed. I'd just been too panicked to notice and I didn't - well, I guess I still don't - know how usual senshi promotions work. Do you?"
His faint smile fading, he added, "And there I was trying to avoid becoming a super, too. Oh well; maybe it'll be more helpful in finding a way out of here. In any case, we couldn't get anything else out of the mirror after that. No one else but me and that woman were able to go into it and afterward, it seemed to go back to being like any other in the castle."
Sinope met her green eyes when she told him she was glad he came out of it okay, but quickly averted them. She was too kind to him. It was much more than he deserved for anyone other than himself to be concerned about his well-being, he felt, but she seemed to be anyway. How was he supposed to deal with that? Kindness always threw him off.
She's probably like that with everyone, sweet as she is, he told himself, irritated for getting so worked up over this and wondering if it partly had to do with his possible onset of mild delirium due to lack of sustenance. Don't think too much of it.
"No, I really...I don't think I can make it back to my room on my own," he confessed, avoiding her gaze as his face burned hot with humiliation at the admission. "And I'm sorry to have to ask you this, but...do you think you can help me back?" When he looked at her again, his expression was a sheepish, imploring smile. "I thought...I might be able to try to help you find out what your magic does in exchange.litian ((SO sorry for the delay! OTL))

Sadalsuud shook her head "No I don't" she admitted. "But to be honest I haven't really thought about being promoted."
It wasn't as if she was one of the strongest amongst the Court after all and she didn't even know what her magic did beyond the 'look pretty aspect.'
"But given that the mirror that you passed did something then maybe there are others that also do somewhere around here–"
Sadalsuud thought about it for a moment before adding "At least less weird ones."
She nodded vigorously at Sinope's request for her to give him a hand back to the room that he'd been allocated, although it was hard to tell whether the taller senshi had seen it given that he wasn't actually looking in her direction.
"Of course" she said without hesitation, her lips tilting up in a small smile when Sinope finally met her eyes "And you don't need to apologise - I don't mind helping at all."
Sadalsuud was being serious - because she really, truly didn't mind helping - just as she wouldn't have minded helping if Kiuchi had needed a hand from her or Mr Avior–
Although it was hard to see how the eternal would need any help from her.
"And whilst I would love to find out what my magic does" and it was her turn to look down for a moment "Beyond looking pretty." Because as it stood her magic didn't seem to be much use - unlike that of some of the others in the Court. "You don't have help if you don't want to."
Sadalsuud looked up finally, her green eyes serious and sincere as she continued "I'd help you anyway - because we're friends."
Well at the very least she considered them friends.Kitomyx No need to apologise :3 I'm sorry that I'm so slow myself
