Hobbies:Sketching - Kit loves to sketch random people and passer-bys in his spare time. Due to his tendency to watch and stare, he may be mistaken for a stalker when all he's really thinking is that a person looks interesting enough to draw. If mistaken for a stalker, he would probably just play the part for the heck of it and give his 'victim' some creepy smile and a licking of his lips rather than tell them he was merely drawing them.
Kit's drawing style is realistic, as he draws what he sees, and thus doesn't consider it much due to the fact that it requires next to no creativity or imagination, which he claims to lack. This doesn't seem to bother him, however, as he only draws to pass the time rather for enjoyment or for the sake of making art to please anyone. Supposedly, he picked up his realistic sketching technique of merely drawing what he sees from a recent art class, though he may have drawn from his imagination rather than reality when younger.
He will not speak of what started him drawing, however, nor anything else about his childhood. If asked, he would act as though he were born a teenager. He much prefers to color over sketching because he likes colors and he believes that getting colors right realistically is more of a challenge than just getting shading, tones, and highlights right. Other than his preference for color, he likes using all art mediums equally, whether they be digital or traditional with pencils, paint, markers, pastels, crayons, or other media.
Story-telling - This guy will tell stories like no one's business. While some are obviously untrue, others aren't so easy to categorize as either fantasy or reality. He seems to have a talent for making things up on the spot and improvising, which adds to his tall-tale weaving abilities as well as his abilities to convince and persuade others. While he might never outright lie, he certainly takes advantage of omission and makes use of loopholes in both his and others' wording. It is under this category of hobbies that he manipulates, teases, taunts, influences, and provokes other students when bored in order to mess with their emotions and head to see their reactions.
His interest in stories began when he was young, but like his hobby of drawing, he will not speak of the origins. Whatever imagination he used before to weave them have been replaced as inspiration material by the rumors and gossip he hears. He has found that telling stories that could be true about people provoke a much more interesting reaction to him than obviously fictitious tales could. Thus, his love of story-telling often takes the shape of gossip or rumors he spreads around by word of mouth just to get reactions.
Partying - As extremely out-going and extroverted as he is, Kit will talk to anyone and everyone. He won't hesitate to go to that book worm or wall-flower in the corner to drag them into the spotlight. He's up for anything and everything and will take any dare. He doesn't seem to have any taboos whatsoever, and though Kit seems to love surrounding himself with people, he seems to be a sociopath who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience, or at the very least is morally ambiguous. Threats only seem to spur him on, as does pain, so there is little that can stop him once he sets his mind to follow a whim.
Virtues:Confident - His confidence seems to make him capable of just about anything if he puts his mind to it. Due to this, he prides himself on being difficult to offend no matter what others might do to insult or otherwise tear him down. He doesn't really worry about what others think of him or his behavior and thus does not easily fall prey to the darkness that is anger or hate towards others. Those who mind him don't matter to him and those who matter to him don't mind who he is, so he doesn't bother wasting his time on people who have a problem with him as a person. If he wants to change, it'll be on his terms, not theirs, and he is very much his own person unswayed by the whims, opinions, or pressure of his peers.
Outgoing - Kit is a very extroverted, independent individual who, due to his confidence, doesn't let others influence how he thinks - either directly or indirectly. If someone seems to be a loner, he isn't likely to let them wallow in their solitude and will deliberately attempt to start talking with them in order to get them to be more social. Kit seems to enjoy being social very much, especially in watching how other people interact with each other and eliciting emotions from them himself through his words and actions. He doesn't care much for being alone and will often talk to whoever he can in the hopes of striking up a conversation. He is a great listener when people interest him and he seems to be interested in other people a great deal.
Understanding - At times, Kit can be unexpectedly sympathetic, but this is most certainly not a trait frequently seen with him. Even when it is, it's best to be wary of ulterior motives he may have. Sometimes, though, he seems to just feel like being genuinely nice. It may be simply to oppose a cynical person's perspective that the whole world is against them or perhaps just to be there for somebody who doesn't know who else to turn to. Maybe it might be to throw someone off about their idea of him. Whatever the case, since Kit is a good listener and will often actually make an effort to understand people rather than simply hearing them out, he tends to be able to empathize and provide some comfort.
Positive - He is not one to hold out for or plan his future and prefers to live in the moment because one never knows when their future will end up being shortened or cancelled. This knowledge, however, also seems to give Kit a greater appreciation than most for simply existing and living out each day. His constant grin actually seems at least partially attributed to his gratitude of being alive and his positive nature keeps him cheerful in demeanor no matter who he interacts with or encounters. Being laid-back and happy gives him a friendly vibe, making him warm toward anyone no matter what their own opinions of him are.
Flaws: Hedonistic - Kit is a very sensual guy with very few inhibitions. He can't seem to get enough physical contact, whether it's pain or pleasure; being hugged or being punched. This may be why he's constantly flirting, but never seriously. He's not particular about his targets and will flirt with almost anyone, making him rather promiscuous, but he generally goes for those he believes he can get the greatest reactions from. As a sadomasochist, there's very little that doesn't turn him on when it comes to tactile connection. He's drawn to those who wish to escape him and repelled by those who actually want him because he seems to enjoy the thrill of the 'hunt' more so than the 'kill'. While not always sexual in nature, his tactile harassment of others in regards to not being able to keep his hands to himself and general disregard of others' personal space is what ultimately landed him in Hillworth Grammar School.
Heartless - Despite his constant grin and generally amused demeanor, he claims to feel very little in emotions when it comes to people. He will sometimes lead others on for his personal amusement. Other times he might imply things to get people to assume what he wants them to just to see if he can - right before letting them know their assumptions were wrong and telling them it was their fault for making such assumptions in the first place. Listening to people, Kit can learn more about them and get inside their heads. He can knowledge to both comfort and break others and sometimes he does both just for the heck of it. He seems to feel empty inside, lacking emotions toward most people, and thus feels a need to toy with others' emotions in order to fill his own void. Kit isn't exactly sure why he does this, but he holds out for the hope that that maybe one day, someone will touch his heart and make him feel emotion just as he watches himself incite emotions in others, both good and bad. When asked about his heartless nature, Kit claims that emotion is weakness and that he only wears a grin to mask any real feelings (or lack of them).
Superficial - Kit will listen to others and offer advice, but he doesn't like talking about himself and will evade or ignore questions - particularly those about his past and his childhood - if ever asked. He smiles constantly to hide his inner, deeper thoughts and feelings, going so far as to pretend he doesn't have any while claiming that he doesn't have any need for emotional feeling so long as he can get his fix of physical feeling. As a result, Kit is very bad at communicating his true feelings about things (or even admitting them to himself) because he doesn't like to dwell or brood on such thoughts. He believes life is too short to worry so much about trivial things such as those or to worry others about them, especially if they can do nothing to change them. Despite his efforts to pretend he has nothing to hide and that there's nothing more to him than meets the eye, there are a few things that can make him slip his easy-going, confident composure; being referred to in any way as a child or childish, being stared at for too long, and getting wet all piss him off.
Morally Ambiguous - He acts selfish and seemingly without a moral compass which is why he can do things both to help and harm others without really caring which is which. His sociopathic tendencies suggest that he can't or won't distinguish 'good' things he does from the 'bad', and thus may end up doing either without any real reason other than his own whims. Dragging a shy person onto the dance floor might be considered 'good' in that he's trying to get said person involved, but it can also be considered 'bad' from ther perspective that he's ignoring the other person's possible wish to be left alone. For this reason, he doesn't bother trying to puzzle out what perspectives others might view his behavior because he can see it from virtually any angle and, as a result, simply does as he pleases. This can make it appear that his whims are inclined toward inconsideration of others, so he's more often thought of as a 'bad person', a jerk, an a*****e, etc. Whatever choices he makes or however he chooses to act, though, Kit makes certain he is sure enough of his decisions so as not to have any regrets.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Dark brown; so dark they almost look black and his pupils are not distinguishable from his irises. They are almond-shaped and large, but usually seen half-lidded. Sometimes he wears a bright blue contact in his right eye just for fun.
Hair: Black, short (about chin-length), and wavy. He has no bangs and no widows' peak, but his hair is slicked back to reveal his forehead and ears. His wavy, black hair is chin-length and curls at the tips.
Face: Roundish, but with sharp features. Soft, small, somewhat flat nose with a more pointed chin. His complexion is olive-tan and he's almost always wearing a Cheshire grin.
