“Now now… I wasn’t bothering anyone… I was just doing my job, friend.. ” A soft and nervous voice barely echoed in the dead end of alleyway. Fettelite had messed up, again. Here he was, thinking for once, maybe JUST for once he could do a good job for his boss, yet his little youma companion had already been dusted by an angry Whitemooner, and that very same White Moon Senshi was quickly closing in. They cracked their knuckles, ready to wail on the nervous Lieutenant. Only a vague reminder from his general told him they had magic, and he learned the hard way not to get in close, thanks to the singing edges of his hair, and he heat that burned his face...
While Fettelite wasn’t one to give up, nor was he one to surrender easily, but it had only been a few days since he had awoken… Heck, he hadn’t even gone out by himself yet! Well, he was out now but this time didn’t count! It was his first after all! And his first was starting to look like his last as the Whitemooner swung an angry fist at him, one he barely deflected.
“I don’t want to fight, friend! I wasn’t hurting no one!” he protest again, ducking under the arm and pressing his back against the wall directly behind him. What was wrong with this senshi?! He wasn’t even draining people! The next swing looked like it was going to have some power behind it, and Fettelite really didn’t want to hurt anyone, so he screwed his eyes shut, prepared to take the blow. He’d have to explain to his boss why he was already beaten half to death in the gutter, but he couldn’t fight someone without knowing why they were fighting in the first place!

“Uh oh; that doesn’t look very good,” a 5’4” dirty blonde commented, standing at the entrance to the alleyway as he tilted his head, surveying the situation with a playful smile. “Maybe you two should Kiss and Make Up?” No sooner were the words out of his mouth that Kissling raised his hand to his mouth and blew a kiss at the White Moon Senshi’s back.
Without waiting to see its effects take hold, he rushed forward, took Fettelite by the hand, and made a sharp U-turn to leave the alley by speeding past the other sailor scout’s side. “We better hurry,” he called back over his shoulder, tugging the Negaverse agent a little ways down a lesser-used street before pausing to look up. “Can you make it up to the roof? We might be able to lose them there.”
That wasn’t to say the White Moon Senshi wouldn’t have been able to track them via their Chaos signatures, but Kissling was hoping they would lose interest, especially after his magical attack. The idea to be up on the roof was more a precautionary measure than anything else.

Fettel wasn't sure at all what happened after he saw that hand about to come crashing down onto his head. He tried so hard to avoid fighting, not because he was ultimately a pacifist, but because he knew once he started, he wouldn't stop. He’d fight and fight and fight until one of them was incapacitated, and if it wasn't him, well… He couldn't say for certain of the other would live to see another day.
But praise be, he was rescued from his tormentor! Brief words were spoken, some of which he could not recognize due to his own distracted mind, but there was no way to deny the hand that grabbed his own. Before he could even open his mouth, he was quickly led away, hand still holding his, far enough that maybe, just maybe they could be safe.
Or maybe not; from what he saw so far, Senshi were much more insane than they came off as being, no matter how pretty they looked. And this Sensh who had him by the hand was certainly pretty to look at, but he couldn't tell just yet if he was insane or not l. At the very least, he was kind, and Fettelite couldn't help but smile at him and nod.
“I can jump up there, but can't teleport. I'm not strong enough just yet, but soon!” Still, never one lacking in the enthusiasm, he took this moment of non-violence to quickly scoop up the smaller man, bridal style and bound up to the rooftop with ease. No matter how incompetent he could be with missions and following orders, no one could say he wasn't athletic. Though, the title dumb jock fit him perfectly.
“Do you think we're safe up here?” Fettelite asked the man in his arms, not bothering to set him down as he peered over the edge of the building. “Bossman told me that if we power down, they can't tell who we are, so we're safe if we did it in secret. What do you think?"

“You’re going to be able to teleport?” Kissling asked, wide-eyed, before beaming. “Wooow! Well, maybe it’s good you can’t now, because I don’t think I could keep up! But let’s - eh?!” Before he realized what was happening, the blonde find himself being picked up like a princess and his eyes got wide again. “W-w-wa-wait, I get up there myself! R-really!”
He had hardly been able to get the words out, though, because by the time he’d finished, the lieutenant had already carried them both up to the roof. Kissling blinked and glanced over the edge from his position as best he could while the white-haired teen did the same. “I-I think so.” He looked back up at his carrier, clutching at his arms. “A-and I guess we could power down, b-b-but...could you put me down first, please?” He smiled helplessly. “I can stand on my own. Really!”

“Yup! One day I’ll be able to get up here with no effort at all…” Up on the rooftop felt like a whole nother world to Fettel. He was entranced by it all, the sights, the smells. Who knew there was so much to see in the city? Freedom was amazing and wonderful and distracting enough that the boy hadn't noticed he was still holding his rescuer tight against him. Once he was asked to put the other down, he blushed slightly and nodded, gently setting the other down on his feet.
“So so sorry about that! I didn't know if you could or not so I figured, hey, might as well bring you along!” His grin, cheeky as always, rested happily on his face as he turned back to the alley, juuuust to make sure that scary White Mooner was gone. So far so good!
“Thanks so much for your help! I really really didn't want to fight tonight. It's surprising just how dangerous this city can be! I was literally mindin’ my own business then WHAM! Out of nowhere this guy comes at me with magic and such all willy nilly like I had done some unforgivable crime! Ain't that some nonsense right there?!” Deciding they were safe enough for now, Fettelite turned his grin back to the Blondie. “So what did you do to make them stop?”

Finally back on his own two feet, Kissling chuckled lightly and waved a hand. “Hehehe, don’t worry about it! I just didn’t expect it so suddenly is all.” Straightening his clothes, he answered the Negaverse agent’s expression of gratitude with a carefree smile.
“No problem! I don’t like getting into fights, either, so I get it,” the blonde agreed. "Yeah, the city is dangerous enough when you’re not powered up. But when you do and everyone can feel your energy signature, it gets way scarier!” Looking puzzled, he asked, “They didn’t give any explanation? He just attacked you just like that?” Kissling scratched his head. “Well I guess maybe that might be because you’re with the Negaverse and you have a Chaotic energy signature. But still, that’s not very nice. Especially if you didn’t do anything wrong.”
Upon being asked how he had made the other senshi stop, the young man grinned triumphantly. “I used my own magic! ‘Kiss and Make Up!’ I’m the Senshi of Kisses, so if I give someone a kiss, I guess they stop feeling like being violent. At least physically.” With a weak shrug, he added, “That wouldn’t stop them from using magic, though, which is why I thought we should get out of there as fast as we could.”
“Oh! I’m Kissling, by the way!” he greeted happily. “Nice to meet you!”

“Really? That’s sweet of you to join a fight to help a newbie like me out!” He already knew that there were a few on his ‘team’ who weren’t so ready to help the struggling young man. Then again, his failures were his own, and he could live with that, or atleast he could try to live with it. He heard rumors already about some of the punishments that could be dished out, but his own bossman seemed decently patient, so that was a plus. “Some people can be so rude! But I heard there are some really crazy people out there too, like, here, in the Negaverse, so maybe they aren’t so bad to be that ready to fight… Still don’t want to, though.”
He felt pretty good about what happened in the end, the energy he collected should be plenty and, well, he was hopeful that this new guy he met would be someone who could be a friend! Especially if he had super awesome magic like he said he had!
“Kissling? Like kissing? OH, you DID blow a kiss, didn’t you? Is that your power? … Wait, you’re covered in them!” A finger came out to poke at a few of the kiss marks on the other’s chest playfully. To his surprise it was sheer fabric. Huh, who knew? “I’m Fettelite! You can just call me Fettel though. So does you magic hurt people or just calm them down?”
Suddenly, he paused and frowned for just a second, before smiling again. .
“Damn, you already said that, didn’t you? Sorry! So so sorry, I think I’m just a little frazzled about what happened… But it’s okay! We’re safe now! Should we power down? Are you okay with that? Super secret identities and all.”

“Heheh, well...I’m kind of a newbie myself,” Kissling answered, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. “But that just means there’s all the more reason for us newbies to stick together, right?”
He nodded in firm agreement with the statement that some people could be so rude. “Though...I don’t know much, but I think there’s bound to be just as many crazy people no matter what side you’re on. And maybe it’s the people who are so eager to fight who are crazy. Like violence fiends! If you don’t try to at least figure out who you should fight, it’s really unfair.”
His small frown expanded once more into another wide smile as the pattern of lipstick marks on the sheer cloth of his clothing was poked. “Yeah...that’s okay, Fettel! I would be, too. And I don’t think it hurts anyone...at least not that I can tell. You never know with this magic stuff.”
“Hmm?” Staring blankly at Fettelite, Kissling, who had just powered down without another thought, asked, “Super secret? Oh, did you want them to be?”

Kissling’s words just made Fettelite smile all the more, though a bit more sheepishly at the thought that they should stick together.
"I can fight pretty well, I think, but I don't like to. We can keep each other safe, if you wanna partner up sometime! Like, we can try to do what we gotta do, but if things get too hairy, either we can leave it peacefully or I can try to stop in and calm them down uh.... With my fists, I guess." All the beatings and abuse he went through in that awful house hold, Fettelite could put up one hell of a fight if it came down to it...
After receiving the wide grin again, He simply grinned back, pulling away and powering down too, shrugging at the thought.
"Well, we wanna keep secret to the Order people, right? That way we're safe when we're just like this, with no powers. But no, you're like me, part of the... Chaos, I guess! So I think this is okay. What's your name? What were you doin' before you came by here anyway? I'm December, by the way, yes, like the month! And yes, there are 11 other siblings and yes, we are all named January through December. Hehe, it's absolutely fantastic to meet you!"

At the suggestion that they could partner up some time, the blonde young man looked astonished before his expression gradually melted into a soft smile. "That would be fun! But I don't want you to get in trouble. If we're both trying to collect energy, I don't want you to get yelled at for not getting enough because you let me have some." He reached over to pat the other's shoulder. "But if my magic could keep you from having to fight people, that might be good." Maybe he could actually feel useful to someone for once.
He nodded again for confirmation about keeping their identities secret from Order people, but in truth, he didn't really have much of a reason to keep it secret. It didn't occur to him how someone might have been able to use one's civilian identity to ruin their lives, but that was likely because his identity as a senshi was more precious to him. Still, if others wanted to keep secrets like superheroes from comic books, he was certainly willing to play along. Especially if it was a secret only shared between friends. It made him feel closer to someone; something he didn't get much of as a civilian.
"My name's Leiko!" he answered cheerfuly. "Nice to meet you, December! Wow, that's such a cool name. Whoa - how do you have so many siblings?! You must never get lonely!" He gaped at his new acquaintance in amazement. "What was I - oh. I was just collecting energy with my mirror wraiths. Then I sensed other energy signatures and found you with that Order person. That was lucky, huh?"

"Nawww, it'll be fine, really! I can always work a little overtime, and I'd rather do things peacefully, so I think it's a good exchange!" The pat was returned with December reaching over to Pat Leiko's shoulder as well before half skipping backwards to look at just where exactly they were. All these alleyways began to look the same after a while.
"I got lots of siblings, but I don't know where they are anymore. They are all older than me, so they left the nest earlier than I did, so... Woosh, scattered all across the continent! I hope they are happy though." He missed some of them dearly.... April was always the sweetest of the siblings, while February was the really old wise one of them... May and October... Well... He didn't want to think about them... No point on dwelling on the dead.
"Yes, yes, super luck! But I think we should probably get out of here, huh? Ooh, and it looks like my General is calling me, so I gotta go! But thank you! Thank you so much for helping me out! And I'm sure we'll meet again, especially if you need some help later!" Numbers? Who needed them? Either way, December gave a quick wave and hurried back down the alley from where he came from. Couldn't keep the general waiting, who knew what would happen if he did!
