After spending the last two and a half hours cooking, both for himself and for his hosts, Xi-Wang had headed out and again left a note for the couple so they knew food was waiting for them. It was all packed, nice and neat, with heating directions for it all left on top of each individual tupperware. They had been out and he’d had the time to cook while they had been out, since he hadn’t had classes that day and work had ended before they had gotten home, it was his way of thanking them for letting him move in. He owed them really, they didn’t have to take him in after all.
With that done and nothing else to do, at least not at the moment, Xi-wang had decided to go out for a walk. He hadn’t planned on it being long, and it getting dark out, but once he’d really noticed it was dark he’d decided it wasn’t so safe to wander about as a civilian. At least powered up he’d know if something was near him which might do him harm, or drain his energy. That was the cause for him to duck into an alleyway and power up.
It was also at this time that he finally looked around where he was...and he really wasn’t sure. He didn’t think he’d ever been to this part of town, or maybe it was just this particular block. But he didn’t know where he was….lovely.

Humming to himself, Kissling stepped slowly, one foot in front of the other, balancing upon the edge of one roof ledge until he could leap to the next. He knew that probably wasn’t a very good idea considering how clumsy he tended to be, but he practiced parkour enough that he thought he could save himself if he fell. Tickle-me-pink eyes darted around through the crowd below to see if he could spot the mirror wraith he had loosed among them.
It was a difficult thing to locate in the darkening evening, especially as incorporeal as they started out, but Kissling was also aware they became more substantial once they gathered more energy. He had made a game of attempting to spot it like ‘I Spy’ or ‘Where’s Waldo’ before it made its way back to him.
While wondering if he could sense the wraith like he could sense other powered energy signatures, the basic senshi was startled to notice the aura of a super senshi nearby. He relaxed somewhat when he thought he recognized one of his own court, but was ready to bolt in case he was wrong. Playfully raising a foot to balance on one leg, he leaned over, smiled at the stranger, and raised one of his spread arms in greeting.
“Hellooo!” he called. “Hmmm...are you from the Dark Mirror Court?”

Hearing a voice, and assuming it to be the owner of the aura, the dark eyed senshi of gorgon’s glanced up and took a moment to stare. The other dark mirror senshi wore such bright colors, aside from the black, This one certainly stood out with so much pink.
After several moment of looking over whatever he could see of the other, and there wasn’t much, Kiuchi finally nodded. “Yeah...Kiuchi, senshi of gorgon’s...and you?” He asked lightly. Moving his head to look around, see if there was a way up to the roof top, he didn’t see a fire escape on the side of this building...damn.
“You’re out on your own...have you been safe tonight?” He figured it was obvious, since the other was still out and didn’t appear injured, but he figured it might be best to ask anyway and make sure the other hadn’t had a rough night out. “Gathering energy I take it?” Not looking for any fights, at least he hoped not. It could get really dangerous out there, especially for a basic senshi like the black and pink dressed one above him.

”I’m Kissling! Senshi of...well, can you guess?” he asked, laughing. Wasting no time, he hopped from the roof ledge to the nearest drainpipe, using it to slide down a little ways before leaping onto a neighboring window pane. From there, he flung himself onto a lower building ledge before landing atop a dumpster lid with bent knees to absorb the shock and then finally jumping to the ground.
“Aww! Are you worried about me?” Kissling giggled at the question asked of him. “How sweet! Thank you, but I’ve been fine. And you’re out on your own too, aren’t you?”
At the inquiry about gathering energy, he nodded. “I love these little wraith things! They’re so fun to watch! It’s too bad we don’t usually get the same one twice, but I guess they wouldn’t make very good pets, anyway, since they don’t stick around for long after they get enough energy. Otherwise it would have been nice to have some company.”
Beaming at Kiuchi, he remarked, “But now we have each other! Isn’t that great?” The dirty blonde took his new acquaintance by the hand once they were close enough and tilted his head up. Being 5’4” wasn’t too bad a height, he supposed, but compared to the young man of 5’11”, Kissling felt somewhat vertically challenged.

Watching the other, in amazement, he found himself moving his head to follow the other dark mirror senshi’s movements. He was good...and he’d never seen anything like it really. “Ohh...that’s cool.” He whispered, more to himself than the other. “Mmm, fitting name...and the uniform.” His own didn’t really give away his sphere but his name really gave nothing away. He was harder to figure, and he thought it something advantageous for him really.
“Of course! You’re a dark mirror also.” He answered rather quickly, ducking his head a bit when he realized how quick and loud he’d been. “Sorry…” Lowing his voice he stared back at the other. “Of course, I worry about others in the court.” They were family to him, at least until he found someone not to like. Though there had been that one...the one who had been friendly with the Queen up in space and had helped her. He wondered if anyone knew anything on her...where she’d gone - was she ok?
“Mmm, I am but I’m a super...and I’m ok - I promise.” Unless someone tried to fight him. He’d use his magic and run if he had to...or get beaten on. He didn’t mention this though, he didn’t want to worry someone else. He didn’t like to worry other people if he could help it, and normally he could.
“Mmm, they are useful.” It kept him out of the area when gathering energy. He let his wraiths do the job and he could stand in the shadows and watch - he was safe. He didn’t know how Negaverse agents did it as they did, it was a risk. He was happy with how the dark mirror did things, in terms of energy gathering. “Company is always nice...I don’t always have company but I normally do..well about half the time.”
Lacing their fingers together he nodded his head, smiling down at the much smaller senshi. “Mmm, we do. We can gather energy together tonight.” He liked that idea a lot. “I haven’t met any new dark mirror senshi in a while. We can get to know each other.” Running his fingers, those not laced with Kisslings, through his dark hair. He really did like the style he’d had it cut into, Jason had been right to take him out to get his hair done.

The blonde clasped his hands behind his back and cocked his head when he heard the other senshi apologize. “Why are you apologizing?” he asked, sounding genuinely perplexed. But then he was smiling again.
“Your enthusiasm is charming. I have to ask, though - what about being in the same court makes you worry more about me than anyone else? Aren’t we practically strangers?” Shifting from foot to foot in restless idleness, he asked, “Is it because we were in Altea’s castle together and went through all those things?”
That was starting to sound like serious talk. Perhaps it would make Kiuchi think that he didn’t trust him or that he didn’t want to converse together. Serious topics like this always made him anxious. But it was his fault for having brought it up in the first place and thus his responsibility to change the subject if he wanted to fix his mistake. He giggled again at Kiuchi’s admission to being a super senshi.
“I can see that! And that’s wonderful! But before you became a super senshi, you were a basic one like me, right?” He waved a dismissive hand. “And you were fine then - fine enough to get promoted - so I’m sure I’ll be fine, too.” With an especially appreciative look, he added, “But thank you for worrying about me. It’s so nice to know someone cares.”
The talk of having company only half the time caused Kissling to scratch his head. “Are you one of those people who doesn’t like company sometimes?” he inquired aloud. “I can leave you alone if you want.”
When Kiuchi suggested that they could get to know each other, however, Kissling visibly brightened and released his fellow court member’s hand to throw his own up in delight. “Yay! How old are you, Gorgons? Where do you come from?”

“Ohh..umm..I was a bit loud.” And he hadn’t meant to be, though there really was no reason for him to apologize, it was just a habit at this point. He had been rather well trained by his mother, where even if he knew something wasn’t needed or was wrong he still fell into habits. Eventually he’d break her training, more than he already had, but it wasn’t easy to break years worth of training.
“Not more than anyone else. I worry about anyone in our court. We’re a small group….” And he wanted to think of them all as family...like an extended family in some cases, like a family member you rarely saw or who you only spoke to over a phone, but still all family. “Mmm, no. Not because of that. Though that was a bit of a bonding experience...at least I would think so.” Those who would join their court who hadn’t been there and were clueless about it vs. those who had been there and had almost been turned into crystal people and killed, slowly. Hopefully it was something no new members would face, nearly being killed.
“Of course...we all start out basic. Eventually we get wings then.” Like Avior and Acubens, he did wonder how the eternal senshi of raptors was doing. It had been a while since he’d spoken to her, in part due to his wish for her not to know his new living situation. She didn’t like Avior, at least he was fairly certain of that, and he didn’t want her knowing about the end of his relationship. She was rather protective of him, which he did like, he just didn’t want her seeking out his ex or anything like that. “I was sort of fine...I think I spent most of my time running from fights, getting beaten up and clinging onto others for help.” Tapping a slippered foot he smiled a bit more. “I still do all of that actually…” And no one really minded him being that way, thankfully, and no one had shoved him away when he clung onto their uniforms or commented on it either, he was lucky. “I like company - I need it a good amount of the time. I just sneak out sometimes...or wind up going out for a walk and deciding to power up at some point.” And it was always those times when he was alone that he got in trouble, especially with white moon senshi and knights...though more so white moon senshi. As much as he disliked the Negaverse, and what they did, he didn’t like the white moon just as much. They seemed to enjoy beating on him a bit too much, and always treated him as if he were some bad guy.
Startled by the others sudden actions he took a step back, so he didn’t get hit by an arm or anything, before laughing at the blonds energy and brightness. “I’m eighteen and I was born here - in Destiny City. My parents are from China though. And umm yeah...gorgon’s...like medusa - snakes for hair.” He stated raising a hand to his own dark hair and messing it up a bit, he really hoped that little description helped. It was hard to explain what a gorgon was since they weren’t real...though enough people knew of medusa, somehow. It was like asking a person if they knew who Zeus was...or Aries, any of them. People knew...generally speaking anyway.
“Ummm...what does your magic do? I mean kisses...”
