What is this?
A birthday party for Kirra Morrow!
Kirra’s parents have organised a Pokemon Go-themed 10th birthday party for their only daughter! Kirra has handed out invites to everyone she knows, and quite a few people she doesn’t. Her parents have put up Pokemon lures on three Pokestops in the same area to keep the kids in one place. There'll be a little starting game for the kids, an hour of teaming up to catch pokemon, and then a sausage sizzle (simple BBQ) and picnic! Since it's a public place, other Pokémon Go players are encouraged to show up and join in. smile
OOCly: This is a small civilian RP which should run maybe 2-3 weeks (because I’m slow at tagging).
When is this?
ICly: Saturday Oct 1, around lunchtime
OOCly: October 1 – October 15 approx. (I might need to start it a day earlier or later depending on RL. ^_^;; It can run longer if people are still having fun.)
Who’s invited?
Everybody! Kirra’s a friendly kid, and her parents have over-catered like crazy:
- Knightside kids
- Older kids who might know Kirra
- Parents, carers, siblings
- Pokemon Go players (Pokemon Lures attract players as well as pokemon!)
Safety and Supervision for the kids:
- Kirra's cousin Gigi (Sailor Subamara) will be running a first-aid station, and keeping a list of everyone’s phone numbers for emergencies, as well as their parents’ numbers.
- Kirra’s mother will be running from Pokestop to Pokestop with the kids to refresh the lures and keep an eye on things.
- Kirra’s dad will be manning the barbeque.
- Other adults are welcome to help out!
