Civilian: Tress Gervene

User ImageName: Tress Julia Gervene

Nickname: None yet

Age: 24

Birthday: September 12th

Sign: Virgo

Gemstone: Peridot...? Sapphire?

Blood Type: A

Fav. Food: Healthy foods

Hated Food: Junk/processed/hazardous to health foods

School: Attends Destiny City University (College, accepts all ages) but applying to be an assistant/substitute teacher at Romano's Constitutional Haven (Co-Ed, Highschool)

Hobbies:
Organizing - Since clutter and order stress her out, Tress spends much of her free time trying to organize things – from kitchenware to clothing to books - so they are more efficiently stored or more easily accessed. While she does her best to keep her own belongings tidy, she will also organize things at work or school if she gets the chance and sees an opportunity to improve an area with more organization.

Gardening - Pulling up weeds and pruning stray branches is another favorite pastime of Tress’s because it makes her feel as though she is enforcing order on her own little world even if she can’t control everything in the world around her. She takes great satisfaction in being able to plant and uproot whatever she wishes, creating plans for her garden’s landscape and maintaining it on a regular basis to keep order.

Virtues:
Practical - Tress is intelligent in both a book-smart and logical sense. She’s analytical, very down-to-earth, and practical in her methods, allowing common sense and conservative ideas to guide her. This young woman likes to do things by the book, following rules, standards, procedures, and abiding laws as best she can. If old-fashioned methods or traditions seem questionable, however, she won’t abide by them unless she knows the reason behind them and agrees them to be the optimal course of action. She will follow orders and do as she’s told if someone can explain their reasoning to her and she finds it to make sense, but she expects others to do the same and follow their own advice or their logic loses its value to her.

Diligent - This lady is constantly keeping busy with something productive and attempts to always be as efficient as she possibly can. She does all her work meticulously and to the best of her ability, no matter how small the task and regardless of her interest or lack thereof. Tress is very diligent in her independent work (because she feels she doesn’t have to waste time worrying about the quality of others’ work matching her own standards) but will pick up the slack of others if necessary (although not without a word to them about it). She concentrates on work that is in the best interests of her employers and superiors because she believes that consequently, she is working in her own best interests, which is most logical and practical.

Reliable - She prides herself on being reliable. If she says she'll do something, then she'll get it done no matter what. Due to that, however, promises from her are somewhat uncommon because she will not make a promise she can't keep. She likes to know with absolute certainty that she will be able to make time or have the resources to do something before she agrees to do it. Tress is a completionist and something of a perfectionist, but she makes sure she can meet her standards before setting them too high. She likes to complete anything she starts because she doesn’t like to leave things half done or finished half-heartedly.

Honest - Direct in her communication, Tress is blunt, curt, and to-the-point, which makes for quick negotiations with little room for misunderstandings. She will not mince words or beat around the bush because she doesn’t like to waste time and isn’t afraid to speak exactly what’s on her mind. It’s difficult to misinterpret what she says and if someone needs an unbiased opinion, she will readily give one. Tress would prefer honesty over politeness any day and believes that telling even little white lies for another’s sake ultimately causes the more trouble and harm for everyone involved in the end. She believes that honesty is the best and most efficient policy.

Flaws:
Unsociable - Though she may be pretty book-smart, Tress isn’t so knowledgeable when it comes to social situations. She struggles in dealing with others because in being as direct and blunt as possible, she’s also what people would call tactless. She tries to keep to herself as something of a loner to avoid awkwardness lest her shyness of people and her social insecurities be found out. Though aware of her weaknesses in interactions with other people, she doesn't consider social skills to be of great importance to her goals and thus doesn't do much to improve upon them. That isn't to say she would object to having a few friends if she knew how to make them, though.

Distant - When speaking of other people, this young woman tends to make criticisms more than anything else. Her disparaging and belittling of others and their actions leads people to think that she’s condescending, haughty, or snooty, and though she is certainly of the opinion that others are often inadequate, that doesn’t necessarily mean she thinks she’s better than them, being quite shy and modest herself. However, she does tend to either think highly of certain individuals or (more likely) little to nothing of them at all. She doesn’t see the point in focusing on what people do right or praising them because it’s what’s wrong that needs to be changed and is more deserving of her attention, so she doesn’t emotionally connect with people and instead remains aloof.

Fussy - Tress is a finicky worry-wart. Being a perfectionist and a completionist doesn’t help; it makes her hard to please because almost no one but herself can (or has the drive or desire) to meet her standards in all that she does. Without superiors to dictate her actions, she likes her peers to do things her way when made to work in a group or team. When made to cooperate with others, she will concentrate her efforts on ‘improving’ her teammates or molding them and their way of doing things to her ideals because she tends to be very controlling and of the belief that her way is the best way. If it’s not her way, it’s not the best way, and if it’s not the best way, it’s bound to fail. It makes her anxious if something isn’t perfect. She doesn’t most like innovative or new ideas because she believes that ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. She is also strongly of the opinion that ‘if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself’.

Strict - This woman will not tolerate working with or even being around people she considers idiots. She won’t even waste her time trying to tell them that they’re idiots or why; she’ll just walk away because she knows it’s pointless to try to reason with them. People she cannot tolerate being around includes, but is not limited to, children. High schoolers are the at the youngest age of maturity that she’s willing to endure. Laziness, sloppiness, inefficiency, and untidiness are things she will not abide. When faced with people bearing such traits, she will not hesitate to criticize; sometimes more harshly than necessary or fair. Tress has no mercy for trespasses even as slight as tardiness or indecisiveness. Since she doesn’t mince words, feelings often end up hurt as a result, but she doesn’t have the patience to cater to especially emotional and sensitive people. She loses respect and trust in others easily, offering no second chances and little room, if any, for forgiveness.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Green

Hair: Tawny hair; pixie cut with extensions

Face: Peach, more on the ruddy side. The sort whose external features (nose, cheeks, ears, etc.) get very red when it's cold out or when she's experiencing a strong change of emotion (embarrassment, anger, etc.) though she seems pretty consistent as far as her mood goes, so it's not so much the latter than the former. She also has freckles.

Clothes:
- Dresses professionally/formally almost always in public
- Prefers formal pants to skirts or dresses
- Generally tries to wear high heels because she's pretty short without them
- Wears a pair of "emo" glasses with thick, black, square frames
- Often wears black lipstick or none at all
- Though her ears are pierced, her jewelry tends to be simple and her default earrings are each two halves of a broken, jagged-edged black heart

- Speaks with a strong, formal British accent - Eastern Sussex dialect.
