Prompt: Interact with Altea
Your Dark Mirror Senshi is passing through the hallway at the same time as Altea. She is clearly in a hurry but stops to check on you. If you would like to roleplay with Altea, you simply need to start a roleplay and quote the mule! You may ask her anything, but any information shared to a player by the mule will be posted in the Event Information thread, so everyone will have access to it (but it will be assumed that your character shared with the others; if you don’t wish for your character to share information please PM us when you start the RP!)
If you don’t think you’ll have time to do a roleplay but still want to speak to Altea, you may PM the mule with a question your character would like to ask her while she is passing through the hallway. The mule will respond in 24 hours and you can incorporate their answer into your solo.
There is no limit to how many times you can cross paths with Altea, however you can only have one roleplay per character open with her at a time! All roleplays or solos must be posted within this event subforum or you risk them being missed!

The more Ptolemy learned about this place, the more it excited and interested him. The very fact that Altea's energy signature wasn't able to be labeled as chaotic or order fascinated him. Could there have been some faction that represented a neutrality with even more of a gray area than the chaotic Dark Mirror Court? The last time he had heard of something like that was when Kallichore had mentioned the 'in-between' energy signatures of the Parallel senshi before Ares and Gaia had changed. Kallichore had said that 'no one else possessed a signature quite like that'...but what if they just thought that because no one had been aware of Altea and her world?
There had to be some sort of connection between the Dark Mirror Court and Altea. There were too many things they already seemed to have in common, such as the fact that that they could mirrorwalk. What had she said about it again?
"Mirror walking is a precious ability. Not everyone is blessed with it."
It seemed safe to assume from that that not everyone in Solamnia could mirrorwalk. But then...what about other senshi she had said she'd met? She had said that they would travel to Solamnia in the past and that sometimes Altea had been able to travel to their worlds as well. What if she had even visited the world parallel to their own that Ares and Gaia had come from? It was no use speculating without more information.
And aside from wanting to know more about their connection and past, Ptolemy was curious about Altea herself as a person. She had mentioned that the people in the portrait they had seen had been her family, but not who. It was quite possible the man had been a lover of hers who had died before his time. It must have been so lonely, especially since her servants seemed to be her only companions, yet she seemed to have such a fondness for them. She'd called them 'good-hearted' even though they hardly seemed to do anything on their own unless it was for her benefit. Had they been born that way? There seemed to be much more to them that met the eye. Or perhaps Altea was so lonely that she saw more in them than there really was, like how lonely pet owners tended to anthropomorphize their pets.
Regardless of what about, Ptolemaeus wanted to know more. He hadn't been satisfied with the limited exchange during their cordial little meal at the table in the dining room. Determined to find Altea again, he waited for her one morning in a hallway that he'd often seen her cross before. She usually moved briskly, as if she always had somewhere urgent to be and something important to do, but perhaps this time he could get her attention.
His patience was soon rewarded and he pushed back from the wall he had been leaning against, tearing his attention away from a mirror that had been overgrown with colorful crystals. "Queen Altea," he called to her. "Do you have a moment or two to spare?"
