Hello there, I'm Aura! I'm new to this shop, but I'm super excited to get started roleplaying with everyone, so here's a plot thread to hopefully get the ball rolling on that!
I'm going to list some general information and little plot ideas below, so please don't hesitate to contact me if something listed strikes your fancy! But also contact me if you have an idea that's not listed, because I'm super interested to hear it! I'm online most of the time, so you can pm me, post here, or hunt me down in skype (where my username is also kitsuneaura) and I'll get back to you as quick as I can! Just make sure you let me know who you are if you go the skype route, please!
Just as a head's up, here's some things you might wanna know about me ahead of time:
I fall in and out of writer's block fairly often, unfortunately, so my responses may sometimes be a little slow. You're more than welcome to nudge me to check up on things, but I'll go ahead and promise you that I don't abandon roleplays and I have a spreadsheet to make sure I don't forget them!
As much as I love to ship characters, I don't like to completely pre-plan romances. I'm more than happy to throw characters together to see how things develop at anytime, but I just like to test chemistry before I totally commit to anything. If it happens, I want it to happen naturally!
I honestly forgot what I was going to put here, but uh. I really am open to hearing any ideas you might have, even if they're crazy! Hit me with them. I will love you forever just for asking.

About Me:
Rebecca is a seventeen year old student at Romano's Constitutional Haven. She's only just recently moved to Destiny City, pretty much entirely in order to attend the school, and as such still doesn't really know much about the city or events that may have happened prior to her arrival. Before this, she lived with her mother, but due to her job that meant a lot of travel and no settling in place long enough to set down roots. The decision to apply to Romano's is as much about staying in one place as it is about Becca's need to succeed in life.
Ideas:
Romano Shenanigans: Most of Rebecca's time will be spent at school or in school-related activities, so it's probably easiest to set a roleplay around meeting fellow students or teachers, doing assignments for class, or working on chores. Because she's after an Advanced Diploma, she takes it all pretty seriously, but she could easily be coaxed into having some fun with things. She's pretty lonely as things are now, so I really really want her to make some friends to rely on.
Mentor: Rebecca is absolutely looking for attention and approval from any and all authority figures in her life, and I'd love it if she could catch the attention of a faculty member or really any older negaverse-affiliated characters for her efforts. Once she had it, she'd do anything in her power to keep from losing that attention, so it would be entirely too easy to lead her into being a Negaverse agent as well, with the bonus prize of that new agent being completely devoted to helping her mentor meet their goals.
City Connections: Aside from a family friend who she can contact if she needs help, Rebecca doesn't know anyone in the city. She definitely needs to get out and meet some people! Although she'll spend most of the week at school, she'll be straying out to do some exploring and getting to know her new home on the weekends when she feels she has the time to spare. She could probably bump into someone most anywhere on weekends, then. Or maybe someone could help show her around!
Hobby Related Things: Rebecca loves to swim. She'll be taking the off-campus swimming elective, but she's also likely to try and find some time in the pool even outside of that. It could be fun to meet some people who share her love of water! She also enjoys puzzles of all kinds and goes through a lot of games on her phone. She'd be immediately interested to see a puzzle or riddle game that she hasn't tried yet, and maybe a little too eager to figure it out even if whoever had it would rather do it on their own.
Romance Novels: Rebecca spends a lot of time reading as well, but there's no doubt that she has a weakness for romance novels. She is, unfortunately, extremely embarrassed of the fact. She tries not to read them around others, but sometimes it's hard to resist and she just tries to keep the cover out of sight. It could be funny if someone realized what she was doing and teased her about it!

Why, hello! ^_^ Welcome to the shop! I'm somewhat new myself, so it's great to meet a fellow newbie who's so enthusiastic about getting into rp! Hehe, also nice to find another who enjoys improv and playing out stuff rather than planning out romances and such. Looking forward to playing with you!
As it happens, I actually have another Romano's student available for roleplay. Would you care to do something with our pair?

Oh my gosh, I'd love to! Jack sounds like a really fun character! And they both like riddles so that seems like a good start, haha. Did you have anything in particular in mind for how they meet? They could end up with the same chore or something!

Ack, so sorry it took me so long to respond. ^_^; Work's been busy. But thank you, I'm so glad you like him! I haven't yet played him before, so I'm kinda nervous about how he'll turn out, but I guess I gotta start somewhere. XD I'm really looking forward to seeing Rebecca in action, too!
The same chore sounds great! Especially since Romano's seems like a pretty strict school that would make them do a bunch of chores. Hmm...I guess the question would be what. Taking out the trash, getting papers copied, returning library books to shelves, delivering something to another teacher or classroom...any of those sound like good ideas?

No worries! And haha, yeah, I'm really looking forward to getting a better feel for Rebecca's personality as I play her. Hmm, those do sound good! I like the library one or maybe the delivering things! Or if you weren't quite sure on those, some of the ones from the Romano's description are 'cleaning classrooms, tending the lawn, preparing meals, doing laundry, or aiding teachers'. I'd be down for anything really! Oh also, once we pick, would you like to start or would you rather I did?

Awesome! I think maybe the library one might be good if they both like riddles because maybe one of them finds a book on riddles and starts asking the other? Or something? XD
Would you possibly mind starting? ^_^; If you preferred I start, I can; it's just that I have quite a few tags I owe at the moment so it might be a bit.
