A Note On RP:
I'm one of those "literate" RPer types but I'm not a snob about it like some. I prefer plot over fancy prose and will play with anybody as long as their primary interest is in advancing a story.

As far as in-character relationships and breeding and whatnot go, I care more about personality than about how they look as a couple. But if we have a pair that look absolutely stunning and you absolutely MUST HAVE a breeding...well, PM me and we'll talk. Maybe they'll hit it off, maybe it'll be a failed relationship or a fling....people make really stupid relationship choices sometimes and I'll happily reflect that. On that note, I love it a lot when relationships don't go according to plan, when couples have falling outs or fall apart entirely, when you fall for the wrong person, when your kids resent you....I like to mess with happily families, not all the time, but often enough. So...yeah. I love drama, let's put it that way.

History: Born into the Antianeira, Iosef was a disappointment from the beginning by virtue of being the only male in an otherwise strong, female litter. He was raised to belief the pack mentality: the strength and resilience of females, the inferiority of males, the bonds of sisterhood. Iosef spent every day of his life regretting his unfortunate curse of gender and became an extremely dedicated and valuable slave to the pack as a way to make up for his shortcomings. When the pack disbanded the first time, he fled with his mother, sisters, and a female who had chosen him as a private slave. Misfortune followed them; his sisters disbanded, breaking apart as they became wanderers, and both his mother and his mistress were killed in an assault by a group of wolves -- who they were, Iosef could not see, for he had been knocked out in the struggle. Recently, he has been found by the new alpha of the pack and is delighted to return to his old position as slave, the only life he has ever known.

Life back in the old pack has been made difficult for Iosef, however. For one, there's a fellow slave there, a meek male named Tui who has shown Iosef a side of himself he barely knew existed. It's a side that tantalizes and terrifies him, and like a drug Iosef finds himself addicted to the fellow slave even as he hates himself for it. For another, Iosef's cruel sister Varia is back in their midst, and she's like a ticking time bomb of destruction. Meanwhile, his casual acquaintance with Seraphin, the nanny, turned to romance. She is aware of his unfortunate predilection, but has chosen to turn a blind eye toward it, and Iosef became her consort. He is now the father to a litter that he loves more than life itself, and is trying to find a way to balance all of his responsibilities.

Personality: The perfect slave: Iosef is gentle, loyal, docile, and extremely willing to please. He truly believes in the values his mother taught him and harbors no ill-feelings at all toward the females; indeed, if anything, he has internalized the feelings to the point of total self-loathing. He believes that he must work hard to repent for not only his flaws, but the flaws of males since time began.

Also, Iosef has a secret, a terrible secret he has told to no one: he likes males, in that way. He is confused and terrified by this fact but no matter what he does, he cannot stop himself. He still will do his duty to his mate, Seraphin, because it is expected of him...and though he cares deeply for her, he cannot love her the way she needs him to. And he hates himself for it.

Terreis -- One of Iosef's lost sisters with whom he has recently been reunited; he loves his sister immensely and she has always been particularly fond of him. Having her back in his life fills him with more happiness than he can express, especially as he now has nephews and a neice to love.

Varia -- Iosef's other sister, and one whose hatred of him (and all males) is painfully apparent. Varia is nothing but trouble for the slaves, and Iosef feels a deep-seated, brooding hatred towards her -- both because of her abuses to him and his fellow slaves, and because he blames her for their mother's death.

Tui -- Iosef discovered the thin male outside the pack borders, and brought him home to become a slave. The slaves found themselves as awkward lovers, and Iosef hates himself for it but cannot seem to shake his insatiable attraction to the weak wolf. Now that he is a father, Iosef has shunned their relationship...but still aches for his company.

Casimir -- Another slave from the old times, who has recently become the unwilling father of Varia's pups, only to suffer her abuses. Iosef had never particularly liked Cas before, but finds himself feeling responsible for him now that they are shared victims of Varia.

Seraphin -- The new nanny of the pack's pups; a soft-spoken, gentle female with whom Iosef has lots in common. She has recently taken him as her consort, and he is both happy about this...and terrified. She has given him a litter, and he loves them more than anything and wishes only that he could be better to her...

History: Son of the traitor Rotiart and the chaos-loving crazed Bijou, Rorret was destined for an exciting life. His father left long before he and his siblings were born, and Rorret and his brother Collier stayed with their mother just long enough to be weaned before she dropped them off rather rudely in Brotherhood lands, where they were discovered by Satoru.

As a member of his father's old pack, Rorret feels a certain duty to carry on some kind of legacy. He doesn't know what it is, but he knows that he is destined for great things, and he is keen to see that happen.

Personality: Extremely intelligent and a true genius savant, Rorret sometimes has a difficulty connecting with others. He has a photographic memory and his thoughts process extremely quickly and often in unexpected ways. He's a bit OCD because of his very high IQ and has an extremely difficult time staying still. To keep his thoughts occupied, Rorret plays word games, and constantly fidgets with the cloth he carries with him.

Aside from his hyperactivity, Rorret's brain processes data in a unique way, such that concepts like morality are completely circumvented. In Rorret's world, objects (and individuals) are defined by their purpose, not by their nature, and thus it is perfectly admissible to destroy someone who has outlived their usefulness. He looks at other people's lives as an intricate puzzle or game: manipulating others is the single most enjoyable thing in Rorret's world.

Word games -- Rorret loves all manner of word games as they help him provide order to his otherwise chaotic thoughts. He plays word-association games, jumping from one word to the next as they occur to him; he plays word-string games, using the ending of one word to begin the next; he also plays with rhymes, inverted order, homonyms...you name it, if it can be done with language, Rorret loves it. Nothing would please him more than a partner or companion who truly got the game and could communicate with him on that level.

Incidentally, his little verbal tic was inspired by the foreign film Killing Words

History: Born one of five males to Terreis and Derecho, Balios has a lot to live up to. His mother is a semi-retired Amazonian warrior from the Antianeira pack, whose disappointment in her lack of a female heir is tangible; his father is a hard-headed beta and pack ambassador. Whatever Balios's future holds, it's sure to be an exciting ride.

Personality: A natural diplomat, Balios will spend much of his life putting out fires and smoothing over relationships. He considers it to be his purpose in life to solve the problems of others -- even if those others don't particularly want his help. A bit pushy at times and occasionally oblivious, Balios is nevertheless the individual who always has an idea up his sleeve and never complains about a problem without proposing a solution -- albeit occasionally a solution nobody particularly likes.

History: Lungaia's life has never exactly been sunshine and roses.

Born one of just two surviving pups to a pair of loners, Lungaia's life was destined to be a little difficult from the beginning. Her mother, Snowy, was a mute Seer, and seemed always to be living in her own world. Her father, Cicero, was a ruthless killer. What brought the two wolves together and convinced them to raise a family was anyone's guess, but in their own way they shared, if not love, then a mutual respect for each other's power. Lungaia's mother, was the only wolf alive that could contain Cicero's violent urges, and because of his immense respect for her, he was gentler in her presence.

Lungaia and her elder sister Kaeerah both inherited a strain of violence from their father, an irrational rage that boiled up from some primal place in their souls and drove them toward destruction. Kaeerah got the worst of this, often becoming overtaken with violent mood swings that left her vicious and totally incapable of listening to reason. Lungaia had better control of her rage -- although it constantly simmered beneath the surface -- and due to her superior self-control, she often found herself in a position of guardianship over her sister, containing her and holding her back.

As the two girls came upon their adolescence, tragedy struck their family. Their mother was killed by hunters, and -- with no one to calm him -- Cicero went on a rampage, slaughtering first the humans, and then every living creature that came into his path, cutting a swath of destruction behind him.

Knowing they could not allow him to roam freely, his young daughters pursued him, and it was Kaeerah that did what had to be done.

In memory of him, and to honor him, Kaeerah placed her father's bones upon her body, and truly believed that she now harnessed his soul. The last tethers of sanity had broken in her mind when she had tasted Cicero's blood.

Lungaia, although still with that deep-seated desire to kill, was disgusted by her sister's actions and, from that moment on, resolved never to let the darkness in her soul consume her. She wandered awhile with her sister, attempting to keep Kaeerah's rages in check, but as time wore on her sister made it quite clear that she didn't want her help; she grew power-hungry and calculating. They fought, viciously, and Lungaia barely made it out of her sister's grasp, though her ears were nearly destroyed in the process -- a small price to pay for survival.

Now Lungaia wanders, part of her always keeping an eye out for her sister, knowing that if they were to meet again that the result of their fight would be quite different. A mad dog needs to be put down...

Personality: Lungaia has spent most of her life training to control the darkness within, and has for the most part succeeded. Whatever evil she inherited from her father has been diluted by her mother's even temper; though she is by nature a sadist, she is capable of turning that desire toward productive measures. Make no mistake that Lungaia obtains extreme pleasure from violence -- but she chooses her victims carefully, and aligns herself with the lifestyle of a warrior rather than a murderer.

She trains relentlessly to keep herself in utmost physical form, and is a formidable opponent to even the most seasoned warriors.

Outside of battle, Lungaia is generally quiet -- though not mute as her mother was -- and can come off as cold or blunt. She doesn't make friends easily, viewing them as little more than a liability, but she is eager to make powerful accomplices and allies built upon mutual respect.

She is, however, plagued by strange memories -- flashes of another existence, very similar to the one she has lived and yet extremely different, as though they were a window into another life. She doesn't know whether this is just a strain of the same insanity that plagues her sister...or if, perhaps, she has inherited some amount of power from her Seer mother. Whatever the cause, she cannot help but feel that she has met certain wolves before...

Kaeerah -- (not yet made in SW) Lungaia's elder sister, and a vicious murderer. It is Lungaia's goal to some day find her sister again, and to put her down like they had once put down their father.

Gaspard -- A meek, pathetic male...but then, Lungaia finds herself attracted to such things, perhaps in a misguided desire to save them.

Tui -- so strange that a hardened killer like Lungaia would find herself so fascinated by this weak male...but she feels an attraction to him, like moth to flame, and cannot help but believe in her soul that they knew each other in another life.

::Miscellaneous Errata::

An Old OC: Lungaia's been a character of mine for almost ten years now, and she's one of my favorites. Her backstory here is a bit different than her original character (which involved the presence of demon blood in her genes), but the spirit is much the same. In her time with me, she has been a lupe on Neopets, an anthro wolf, and a werewolf in a Werewolf: The Apocalypse game. She's also lent her name to my WoW druid. In short, I pretty much love this girl.

His totem animal is a bear and it shows: big, intimidating and better with force than words, Dubhe is more likely to barrel through the problems of life than to find a way around them.
