Iosef: *heading the journey down into YMCA territory; he honestly couldn't begin to fathom why he'd ever thought this would be a good idea to begin with. Truthfully, he'd expected everybody to say no. Or, maybe, one other wolf to agree. The idea that nearly all of his kids would want to come meet their layabout good-for-nothing freeborn grandfather was....baffling, to say the least. He grumbles and glances back over his shoulder at the others*
Chimera: *trails along behind his father, soaking in the sights and sounds as they traveled. And the wolves! So much wolf-smell. This was a bigger pack than his own, he suspected, and one that smelled like fresh life. It was enough to make him almost cheerful. Almost.*
Balios: *perks up; he's been doing border patrols a lot lately, always excited to meet somebody new. Hearing the sound of somebody approaching, he heads off in the general direction of newcomers*
Anatto: *hiding, as usual, in the shadows as he stalks his cousin Balios out to see who these newcomers are.*
Adonai: *is thoroughly unaware of the fact that a whole slew of family members are about to storm in on him. A little too preoccupied wondering where his girlfriend ran off to and why she isn't back yet*
BrandenburgsAngel
Romir: *Loping merrily behind Iosef, he ignored Chimera's apparent unenthusiasm. This was... BLISS! There was so much to see! Admittedly, he had to often scramble to catch up when a particularly picturesque scene caught his eye, and it was sooooooo easy to picture his dream wolf padding into sight to stand with her head lifted, her vibrant eyes seeking him out amidst the plants...*
fenshae
Anatto: *well, a pair of eyes were peering out through the plants at Romir, but probably not the pair he was hoping to see*
Iosef: *pauses, sensing that they've crossed the threshhold and are being watched. He glances back over his shoulder to do a quick head-count and make sure everybody's around*

Romir: *Per his usual thoughtless nature, the young wolf sniffed the air, spotting the gleam of eyes amidst the brush. Head up, ears pricked and tail waving delightedly, he bounded towards the plantcover, yipping a merry, rather childish greeting* "Hello!"
Bombazine
Casimir: *happily herpty-derping his way through the vicinity, not quite catching the fact that, like, 10 other wolves are within 50 feet of him*
Django: *loping his way over, having heard the noise of Iosef's little caravan*

Rhys: *ever-curious as to the goings-on of adults, he had been trailing his...nephew, Balios. It still seemed strange for him to call an older wolf nephew, but there it was. Regardless, he wanted to know what had his relative so curious*
Senka: *this new pack was so interesting. Everyone seemed to be related in strange, convoluted ways and she wondered about this latest development. What new stories would unfold before her very eyes?*

Isobel: *Having been following behind rather silently, the weight of actually leaving her home pack was beginning to settle on her shoulders. Was she nervous? More than she really thought she would have been. At least she still had the wherewithal to keep her head respectfully high… though she did take a playful snap at Chimera’s tail, to lighten the mood. She could smell all kinds of wolves, and knew they were close, but she had it in her mind that they wouldn‘t just right-out attack anyone.
Hopefully.
Ah, well, she was still excited. And it wasn't as though they were being the sneakiest of groups, especially as Romir did a very nice job announcing their arrival. That was, truly, for the best, and a part of her drove her to trot a bit after him; to make sure he was safe, of course.*
fenshae
Anatto: *slips out of the undergrowth to give Romir an appraising look* Hello. *responds back, his eyes rather sharply appraising as they look over the other. He starts to say something else, but perks up at the sound of what is undoubtedly Django's arrival*
Balios: *arrives on Django's heels and skids to a stop, looking over the assembled crowd with a wide, welcoming smile* Uncle Iosef! I haven't seen you in ages. *nods a greeting to him, then glances over at Romir. It was pretty obvious who that was -- he looked just like Iosef! -- but he had never heard his other cousins talked about so he didn't know anyone's name* Rhys! *glances back at the pup who's been following him* This is my uncle Iosef. He's my mother's brother. And those are his pups. *he glanced back up at Iosef* This is Rhys...one of the alpha's new pups.
Iosef: *stiffens at being surrounded by so many wolves. At least they were all males, so far -- Iosef would have fallen to pieces if he were surrounded by this many females all at once* Balios. It has been a long time. You've grown quite a lot. *smiles down at Rhys, and had just started to feel almost at-ease, when Senka showed up. Immediately, he stiffens and gives her a nervous look* M'lady.
Chimera: *snorts and edges closer to Isobel, eyeballing the others warily. This was entirely too many wolves to meet at one time*

Romir: *His reply to Anatto died before it was even spoken as his violet eyes swung to Senka. Ignoring Isobel's protective tailing, the young wolf looked around nigh-frantically before snatching a mouthful of prettily-shaded grasses. (Well... They were different shades of green. Sort of pretty... Right?) Dropping onto his belly, Romir inched forward to lay the bundle of slightly slobbery grass at Senka's paws before he gave the female a wide, adoring gaze.* "The journey has been worthwhile to view your beauty alone, mi'lady."
fenshae
Chimera: *ducks behind Isobel to hide the look of total and complete disgust that's come over his features at Romir's newest showing of...uh....whatever that was*
Balios: *having met Senka before, can kind of understand maybe finding her appearance to be a bit...arresting...but has never had the occasion to do that before.* Erm....right. *shifts his gaze over to Isobel and Chimera instead and offers a welcoming sort of smile* Well, ah....welcome to YMCA. I imagine you're wanting to speak with Mother?
Iosef: Romir! Get up, you're making the lady uncomfortable! *he snaps, but glances uneasily at Senka. How should he know if she's uncomfortable or not. He grumbles and looks back at Balios* Actually...not entirely. We were actually looking for Adonai. Have you seen him?
Anatto: *snorts into a paw to try and hold back the laughter. Oh, wow, those warrior bitches really did have them tamed*

Rhys: *With owl-wide eyes at seeing so many wolves who were probably related to him in some way, blood or otherwise, he nodded his head respectfully to Iosef.* "Hello."
Senka: *Well. She had certainly never been spoken to thus before. Milady? Who said that anymore? Apparently, all of these males. And there were so many of them! Were they from this other pack Balios had told her of? That pack of female warriors? Such thoughts fled from her as Romir laid his offering at her paws. Grass? Her beauty? Well, she might have have been a storyteller and she might not be looking for a mate, yet, but she was still a female. As such, she was pleased at his little gift, however odd it might be. How sweet, if amusing.* "Thank you." *She did not even try to hide the smile in her ruby eyes.*

Romir: *Noting her expression, his ears lifted slightly, sensing approval of his initial overtures. A mild twitch shifted his fur when Iosef's scolding became audible through the sudden pounding of his heart, but the young wolf ignored his father for the first time in his life. Moving a discrete distance back, he pressed his jaw to the ground in a deep bow to Senka* "A meagre offering, mi'lady. Unworthy of you, but your thanks gladden me beyond my wildest dreams." Okay, that part was a lie. Nothing could quite match Romir's wildest dreams.*
Bombazine
Django: *is reasonably overstimulated by the sudden upcropping of wolves, and spends a couple of minutes directing a series of disgusted stares at Balios, Iosef, and most of all, Romir. His hackles raise, causing the already-hulking wolf to take up a startling quantity of space. He remembers some of these wolves - or he remembers that minty green, that warm, light orange, as vague and unsettling as memories of being impossibly small. His eyes finally settle on Chimera, who has ended up closest to him. Gruff and menacing, he speaks* You're from Antianeira, aren't you.
Casimir: *finally clued into the hubbub, Cas sneaks his way into the periphery of the gathering, feeling his heart leap at the sight of a strange female, and of a Warrior! Iosef's litter, and there was Iosef! His heart leaped again in in a less ominous way, and he wagged his tail, hanging back, trying to catch Iosef's eye.*
*Cas gave a puppyish little wiggle as Iosef spotted him, and rushed over with the fluid, slinking grace of a Slave born and raised. He tapped Iosef's cheek fondly with his nose before rearing back and tilting his head curiously* Gods, tell me about it! This is just a treat, Iosef, I'm so glad to see you. *he looks around, trying to mark everyone* Where are those tiny puppies I left you with! Is this everyone?
Django: *slightly too off-put by the presence of his brother, and of both his cousins in league with one another, to really menace. He casts a deeply distrustful stare at Isobel while answering Anatto.* All the males come slinking in like they expect to be beaten. *As he says it, Casimir flits through his sight, his great shoulders hunched, crouching as if he is trying to escape the notice of some predator, and the taste of bile blossoms in Django's throat*

Isobel:
Isobel’s eyes widened only momentarily - it wasn’t so very odd for Romir to act this way, but as she had no idea how this new female would react, she could only hope he hadn’t gotten himself into hot water. His swooning habits would have been rewarded somewhat harshly if she was a warrior… though she seemed rather calm about it, and very polite - so Isobel let the fur on her ruff settle and smiled as softly as she could manage at the sudden influx of strange (and yet so familiar) wolves. She was glad Chimera stuck so closely, and settled herself so that their sides almost touched as she regarded each wolf with special care.* Most of you must be cousins of ours, yes? *she asked respectfully.* It’s a pleasure to meet you all, finally.
*Though most of the group seemed nice enough, she did notice a bit of what could have been harrassment out of a patchy fellow toward Chimera - and while she didn’t directly do anything, she decided it would be wise to keep this one in her gaze*

Iosef: *before Balios can say anything, he caught sight of a certain large-bodied, bristly wolf, and his eyes lit up fondly* Casimir! *his tail began to wag enthusiastically, and he cast a look from Senka to Isobel, as though hoping one or the other of them would give him permission to go and greet his friend. He may never properly remember that things were different in this pack* Aren't you a sight for sore eyes, friend.
Anatto: *flops down to his haunches between Django and Chimera, looking between them with amusement on his maw. He was careful not to look at Romir again, for fear of being unable to stop laughing* What was your first clue, Brother?
Chimera: *bristles* Just because he's an idiot, doesn't mean we all are. *eyes narrow at Django. He remembers him, but only just -- he wasn't much older than he was when they parted. He held close to his sister's side and glared challengingly at Django -- a 'come try and start something in front of my sister' sort of look*
Balios: *whined a little and shifts from paw to paw, sensing that this whole situation was about to get very much out of hand. He edges closer to Rhys, a little afraid that the pup might get crushed underfoot* I can go fetch Adonai, if you'd like. He's been rather out-of-sorts lately, actually, it might be nice for him to see his family. *distracted by how Senka's graciously taken Romir's gift. That...was unexpected, and actually kind of off-putting*

Senka: *she grinned outright at Romir's declaration. Perhaps flirting was fun, after all. Or at least, being wooed so flamboyantly. She inspected the grass more closely, noting the various shades. Yes, this was sure to be a most unusual flirtation* "It is the intention that matters." *she assured him*
((honestly, that girl is going to leave broken hearts behind her all over the place))

Romir: *The well-meaning jester (so it seemed) watched Senka's every motion intently, noting her inspection of the grasses. His ears flattened as he squirmed in barely controlled agitation. "Truly, mi'lady, had I any warning that we were to be greeted by such exquisite loveliness, I would have sought long and far to find a bouquet more suitable."
She said it was the thought that counted. She said it was the thought that counted! Unable to keep his tail from wagging, Romir offered a small, carefully "suitable" smile as he inched ever-so-slightly closer. "Would it be presumptuous to know the name of the beauty before me?"

Iosef: *looks down fondly at the pup, who seemed so serious and polite -- much as Balios had at his age, although Balios had always been a bit more pompous without meaning to be. He wondered how it was that YMCA, which lacked neither the military precision nor the firm ranking of Antianeira, always seemed to produce more well-mannered pups.* I have family in the pack, *he said, ducking down so he could look at him eye-to-eye* And as we don't get to travel much, thought it may be nice to introduce my own children to their relatives.

Senka: "Of course. My name is Senka." *Oh! This was most amusing. What great fun! In fact, she was so amused that she was failing to pay proper attention to the other wolves in the area, like the one who seemed determined to cause trouble. She was a warrior. She should not forget herself so easily. So, she allowed a little of her focus on Romir to shift to her surroundings, to make certain that she did not get caught up in anything dangerous unaware. Still, most of her attention remained on her flirtation*
*Cas gave a puppyish little wiggle as Iosef spotted him, and rushed over with the fluid, slinking grace of a Slave born and raised. Rhys: *he nodded solemnly to show his understanding. Family was important. What an interesting adult. He actually took the time to pay attention to a pup like himself. Rhys could not help but to like him almost immediately. It was a shame that he was only visiting.* "Why don;t you visit more often?" *he had heard of their sister pack, but he did not really know a lot about it. Perhaps he could learn more, now.*

Romir: *Another ear flick at Chimera's taunting call, but the rising annoyance was lost in the wonder of being actually gifted with her name. His ears pricked, violet eyes gazing with something bordering on ridiculous adoration, before he wiggled in place, his tail thumping softly against the ground. "Lady Senka, I am honoured to have been permitted a moment of your time. My name, if it is of any interest to such a wonder of the world, is Romir."
One would hope a fight didn't break out around him. Really, he'd be beyond defenseless, considering how his attention couldn't quite move away from Senka.*

Isobel: *If this had been her home pack, Isobel could have placed both the ill-intentioned instigators in their rightful place with a few harsh words; however, she doubted that would work here - or that she'd actually try anything like that, regardless whether it was her right or not. She didn’t want to start anything, or have anything started for her by Chimera’s wordiness, but she couldn’t say that whatever animosity held for Antianiera there might be in these two cousins of theirs was ungrounded.* Only a cruel wolf would beat their slaves, *she says quietly, flicking her ears and thinking of their mother.* And only a bully would make fun of his own brother, Chimera. *The last she said with a nudge, not harsh in any way, but certainly enough to gain Chimera’s attention.* Why don't we enjoy one another's company, eh? There's no need for grumpiness, not now.
*And besides, she thought Romir's actions to be so very endearing - and the lady Senka was a good sport, if not somewhat misleading the easily-attracted little wolf.*

Perdicas: *Somewhere along the way Perdicas had gotten separated from his family. It was his fault of course, he felt the need to clean up any twigs and other debris he has seen on the path long the way...old habits died hard. It didn't matter that he was for lack of a better way to put it on vacation, his mind was on his duties and whether he was here or back at his home pack they just had to get done. Slinking up to his father Perdicas sent him an apologetic look for lagging behind and then turned his attention to the gathered wolves. So many new faces.*

Iosef: *straightens up after speaking with Rhys, casts a grin at Casimir and even allows himself a bit of a nudge back to the other's cheek before pulling back to a more allowable distance. I see you seem to be missing a son at the moment, as well. *he glanced back around, making sure Vercinix hadn't popped up anywhere* I heard that Chilapa came to visit you all some time ago. She's...well, everything a warrior should be. You should be proud. *as he said this, his eyes strayed back with fierce love and pride to his own warrior daughter.*
Balios: *to Rhys, matter-of-factly* The males where they come from are all slaves, so they have to get special permission to leave.

Rhys: *his head slunk low in abashment. He hadn't realized they were slaves. He figured he had best not bring it up again and returned to silence, watching the other wolves. Still, it was sad that they could not see each other more often. They were family. They should be together.*
BrandenburgsAngel
Romir: *He'd brought a laugh to a lady- truly, he was meant for such a life. His tail swept back and forth as he moved a scant half-inch closer, delicately laying another blade of grass amongst the proffered makeshift nosegay. "The pleasure, honour and delight is all mine, Lady Sanka. Surely, with such a melodic voice and striking beauty, you are unique amidst all the world could offer."
Nyx Argyros
Senka: *She watched with amusement as he added another blade of grass to her pile. Just how much would she have by the time he was done? Oh, but what titillating words! Such flattery! She could get used to this.* "My, what compliments you offer. Surely I am not all that unusual. After all, I merely have fur that blends with shadows and eyes that make others uneasy." *She recalled how off-putting her eyes had been to Marlon. Still, was she shamelessly fishing for more compliments? Perhaps.*

Iosef: *ear flicked at this newest compliment from Romir. This whole spectacle was ghastly. But he wasn't sure he could stop it, even if he tried...and besides, Senka surely out-ranked him. She could put an end to it if she wished.* Perdicas, welcome. Do you remember Casimir? You were quite young last you saw him... *smiles at his son, relieved that at least one of the boys was behaving. He glanced up at Chimera, saw that at least he wasn't physically fighting anyone, and looked back at Casimir*

Isobel: *She didn’t immediately respond, taking the short comment with a grain of salt and remaining as unfaltering as possible. She recognized discomfort and anger, and was sympathetic to it - if her father and brothers had not been so keen to their jobs, she might have even agreed. However, slaves or not, Antianeira was powerful and great; because of cooperation and dedication from both sexes, each with their own jobs to do. She didn’t know how to explain this to someone who had not been long under Antianeira rule - and she suspected that by saying anything quite along those lines would only rile her cousin.* I understand your point,* she responded lightly, returning an unswayed, noncommittal, pleasant sort of grin.*

Iosef: *shakes his head* No...actually, I came to see Adonai. Things...didn't end on particularly good terms last time, and it seemed prudent to let everyone at least meet him so we could get on with things. *he sounded about as pleased about this as he would about being eaten alive by ants*
Anatto: *quirks a brow at Isobel.* Careful...don't agree with Django. It makes him angry. Oh...wait...everything makes him angry.
Bombazine
Django: *falls on his brother with a nasty snarl, his teeth pinching meanly at the skin of Anatto's face* Shut up, shut up!! *losing his temper in front of his cousins embarrasses him, and his only option is to whale on Anatto with greater alacrity*
Cas: Oh...hmm, that will be nice. *he smiles, but Cas has to be THE worst wolf at hiding his feelings about others, and it's clear that talk of Iosef's father makes him uncomfortable. He stares mournfully at the Slave as he considers Iosef's plan, struggling.* Did, ah...did you hear anything from my daughter about that visit?

Isobel: *The last thing Isobel wanted to see was one brother assaulting another - instigated or not. The fur on the back of her neck began to bristle and a colder, somewhat more challenging glare overtook her usual calm demeanor, and drawing herself to her full height she rumbled,* I believe I’m the one who irritated you first. Why not take it out on me? Is it so necessary to beat your own brother? *So much for preaching against cruelty to slaves. If he could hardly contain himself from attacking his own family members…*
Nyx Argyros
Rhys: *Wide-eyed, he stared at the fight erupting before him. He had never seen such an open display of violence before. Uneasy, he pressed closer to Galahad's leg, seeking comfort and reassurance, though he would not admit as much. He glanced at Balios to see what his relation thought of all of this.*
Anatto: *flinches away from the bite as it's landed against him, but his expression is unfazed. He's quite used to it, and honestly doesn't mind taking a beating form time to time*
Chimera: *is taken aback -- and a little appalled -- at this. He stiffens, suddenly wanting to dive in and stop them* If you're angry at the world, that's fine, but don't take it out on somebody else *he said, eyes narrowing* Or, if you do, do it with somebody who can fight back. *has clearly misinterpreted Anatto's unwillingness to fight as an inability. As Isobel spoke, he smiled a bit grimly at the fact that both seemed to have the same thought, and he stood a bit taller at her side*
Iosef: Don't worry...I'm not overly fond of him, myself. Still, a wolf should know his father....or try to, I suppose. *his brow furrowed, and he was about to answer Casimir's question, when he caught the sound of a snarl, and he whirled around to see who was starting a fight -- and was not entirely surprised to see Chimera glaring daggers at Django* Chimera *he called, warningly*
Balios: *looks around and then, after an uncertain moment where he can't decide what to do with himself now that Rhys has abandoned him, makes his way over to Perdicas* Your brothers are...very different. *smiles* Mine, too. *he carefully avoids even getting involved in the trouble brewing on the other side of the clearing. He could smooth things over well enough...but he would be damned if he got caught in the middle of a fight that wasn't even his to deal with*
Nyx Argyros
Senka: *At the distinct sounds of a fight breaking out, she looked away from her suitor's attentions. Such hostility! How interesting. She almost wished she had been paying attention to how it had all started. Well, she could pay attention, now.*
She-Ra of Etheria
Galahad: *Seeing a fight breaking out Galahad let out a warning growl. He was the Alpha, and though there were visitors here they would need to follow his rules while in his packs territory.* Both of you stop this now! If you cannot get along then get out of here. I will not stand for such actions in my presence and especially in the presence of my son. *This was not what Rhys needed to see. Lowering his head he gave Rhys a loving nuzzle.* Do not worry, no harm will come to you.
Perdicas: *He looked up at Balios and gave his head a nod* Yeah...they are. *Why did his brothers have to be so different, to act out like this. He felt very uneasy and partially wished he had stayed back home and tended to chores like always*
Perdicas: *He looked up at Balios and gave his head a nod* Yeah...they are. *Why did his brothers have to be so different, to act out like this. He felt very uneasy and partially wished he had stayed back home and tended to chores like always*
Anatto: *suddenly very uncomfortable that the visitors were getting in trouble for a spot of violence between himself and his brother -- especially as that wasn't necessarily a rare event. He raises a brow at Galahad, then actually moves between Django and Chimera and Isobel, as though protective of him* Drop it you two, *he mutters, voice low* Or we'll all get in trouble. *but it was too late -- Galahad had put his foot down* C'mon, Django, let's get out of here. We can ...talk...later, in private, if they want to be stupid enough to follow. *he gave Chimera a look that suggested he really, really wanted that to happen*
Balios: *puffs up a bit that he was not the one being yelled at -- which he certainly would be, if he were to go over there and divide things up* Brothers, I swear. Good thing Tantalus isn't here, or...well, anyway. You want a tour? I know this place all over. *he glances up at Iosef to make sure that's okay*
Iosef: *casts a totally humiliated, sympathetic look at Casimir, but his eyes flicked questioningly to Galahad. He had never been accustomed to demurring to the authority of a male alpha, and it seemed to him quite clear that if a fight were brewing, it wasn't the fault of his pups. Still, best to do damage control before it started. He made his way across to the others, bodily nudging against Chimera* Come -- we've lingered too long, anyway, *he mutters. He gives Isobel a 'you should know better' look and shoves into Chimera, pushing him away before he can start anything* We came to speak with your grandfather, not to get caught up in fights with your cousins.
Chimera: *doesn't miss the look in Anatto's eye. Well, it was official then -- if Django wanted to fight, they'd throw-down later, after dark, and away from prying eyes. He was itching for a good fight, anyway, after all the practice he'd had under Achilles* He started it, *he mutters, but know sit's worthless and allows himself to be tugged away from the group*
Nyx Argyros
Rhys: *he watched the antagonistic wolves carefully, only slightly embarrassed at his father's coddling. Was something going to happen later? His ageless wisdom suggested that it would. But, should he go and see what would happen? He was curious, but he knew it was not a good idea.*
Senka: *she eyed the belligerent males, wondering what had gotten burrs stuck in their paws, to have them so angry. Then again, perhaps they were always that way. Hmm...it might be an interesting spectacle to watch their fight later. Well. She would see.*

Cas: *the sound of Django's teeth rattling against Anatto's skull is so commonplace that he only notices the hubbub once everyone else has cued in on it. He is already on his way, whittling down sharp words in his mouth, when Galahad rumbles out behind him, and the chastisement mortifies him completely, so much so that he bumbles in his steps. Aghast, he slinks after Iosef, though he is at a loss for words. He just stares, stricken, at his crappy sons.*
Django: *just as thrown off as Anatto, but less quick to adapt, Django lets his brother stand guard over him as he glowers in bewilderment at the center of attention that they've suddenly become. The alpha's boyfriend is shouting at them, and now their father is gawping badly enough that he feels a brief and disconcerting pang of remorse. But it's easier to ignore them all, to listen to his clever brother lay out the most sensible plan of action and give his disturbing, dead stare to his cousins.*

Perdicas: *swallows at bit, he certainly was not used to seeing males in charge and watching and hearing Galahad made a shiver run down his spine. Slowly looks up at Balios* Oh...um...okay. *He wasn't entirely excited about seeing his grandfather, especially since he could see that the idea of it stressed even his father out.* If it's okay with you...and my father. *If he was told no by Iosef then he would go and see his grandfather, if yes then he would have a nice little tour with Balios, either way no matter what he did Perdicas knew his mind would be on all the work he wasn't doing in his absence, he would need to work twice as hard when they got back in order to make up for it.*
Galahad: *He turned his attention to Iosef as the patchy male seemed to be doing his best to break things up* I last saw Adonai near the dens, he's likely still around there. *Though it was hard to tell with that wolf, he came and went as often as the wind blew across the meadows. Glancing down at his son Galahad gave him a stern look that said 'Don't even think about following the troublemakers'. He didn't want their bad behavior to rub off on Rhys.*

Isobel: *Oooh, she had not meant for the situation to end up like this; lowering her head (but not her overall attitude)and leaning against her brother, Isobel turned to face their father. Very apologetically, she said,* I believe I started this, not Chimera. It’s my fault, father.* Though Chimera hadn’t made the situation any better by stepping in. They might have been on the very same page, thinking in tandem and both willing to stop anything that might become violent, but two against one would hardly have been fair - especially when all she really wanted to do was fill her cousin’s ears with unsheltered complaints. She doubted Chimera only wanted to speak.
It really was all her fault. Turning a bit and moving after her father, Isobel looked to the regal wolf who had spoken (and who had appeared so suddenly, when she wasn’t paying attention, it seemed) and lowered her head further.* My brother was only mirroring my own thoughts, sir, I apologize. And, Chimera? *She presed her muzzle tight against his ear, where she knew he could hear her clearly.* We are going to be civil, alright? I know what’s going through your head right now, but please, don’t bother them any further.* Even if she thought they could learn something from a tough paw, that was hardly the way families dealt with issues - someday, they might be able to share words. Maybe. Or else she could direct Chimera’s intentions elsewhere to avoid the distrust and obvious distaste of their cousins.*

Balios: *eager to get this all behind them* Alright! Well, tell you what -- I'll lead you down to Adonai, you can all do your catching-up, and then you can come stay with us this evening. I'll get a couple of the old dens cleaned out for you. *there! problem solved*
Chimera: *ears flatten at all the attention coming at him. He shot Anatto a last 'we'll deal with this later' sort of look, then trailed after his sister, bristling. Well, now he was in an even worse mood about meeting Adonai.* I'll be have if they will *he mutters to Isobel, but doesn't argue anymore for now*
Iosef: *smiles a bit at Isobel* It's alright. Emotions are running high, we all don't know each other so well...no harm done, really. *and, honestly, it's not like this were real sibling rivalry. He'd been caught up in worse with his sisters growing up, and that was before Varia really started getting mean!* Come on, then...follow Balios...*ushers the teal pups forward before going to round up the twins, having to give an especially firm nudge to Romir to get him away from his simpering*
Anatto: Later *he reiterates, in a low voice to Django* C'mon...there's too many people here, anyway. *nudges his brother -- apparently totally unbothered by any pain that might have been afflicted to his face -- and ducks back into the undergrowth*

Perdicas: *He was about to follow after Balios when he mentioned cleaning out dens for the night. Panic gripped him, he thought this was supposed to be a short visit, a few hours tops. Perdicas hurried over to his fathers side.* We aren't staying the night are we? I...what about our duties? I thought we would return home tonight. *Clearly he was not quite ready to take the leap of being away from the pack and all that was familiar for so long.*
fenshae
Iosef: *winces a little at Balios's enthusiasm* That shouldn't be necessary, we won't really be staying....*glances up at the sun, contemplatively, hoping that there will be enough time. It WAS a very long walk back* One night, at the most *he relented, and shot Perdicas an apologetic look* But the faster we get this over with, the faster we can leave! Come along, then. *and, with a last 'keep an eye on him' look back at Isobel, he followed after Balios*
Nyx Argyros
Rhys: *the pup lowered his ears, caught before he could even decide if he was going to go. Oh, well. He was more curious about Iosef, anyway. Maybe he could get the older male to teach him things, or at least learn from him by quietly listening.*
Senka: *She watched the whole ordeal with a storyteller's eye, sniffing out which story would be the juiciest to follow. She hardly noticed her flirtation being herded away.*
