Personality: Kiji is a rogue lion that enjoys being a rogue very much! He is very friendly but not very tactful, he does not always think before he acts or speaks. He's also quite peaceable- he doesn't like fighting, and doesn't care how he looks by running away if it means avoiding one. His happy-go-lucky and carefree life has left him naive to certain situations, especially agressive situtations.
History: Kijibwa was a lone cub found wandering around the deserts near the firekin borders, unsure of how exactly he got there, but very hungry and thirsty. Amoret, a lioness, found him there and took him to the jungle. In the jungle, before she left, the lioness fed and watered him and taught him how to hunt for himself. This is where he spent a lot of his life, staying in the jungle until he was an older juvenile.
Where he was before he was in the desert and who his family is is still unknown, though one lioness he met has convinced him that he does have a family somewhere out there. He doesn't remember anyone before Amoret, not even his mother, and he is very aware of these facts.
While in the Pridelands he met a young lioness named Siku and, after finding out how little she knew of the world, offered to take her and show her the Jungle. After travelling and staying in the jungle together, they realized they have feelings for each other. Now they intend to travel together always.

Personality: Chuakari is the type to worry about what people think of her, and is constantly working to please those around her. It was most evident as a cub, where she was more obsessive, tense and anxious- and likely to tell you she's a hyena if it'd make you like her more.
She always worries about what others think of her, it has calmed down a bit since she started to encounter more that were submissive like her. Kari is a hard worker and responsible.
History: Chuakari has always lived near the Prideland borders, as far as she tells or anyone knows. Though she is rather aloof when on topic of her own family, she seems to know more about it than she lets on, choosing not to speak of it rather than actually not knowing of it. While counting one day she met a cheetah named Uri, who told her it isn't safe to be on your own and invited her to see about joining the coalition he was it. After staying in the area for awhile, she finally met Laio, the coalition's captain, and officially joined Duma'bara.
She never seemed to meet a lot of cheetahs from the coalition, but instead met a wide variety of other creatures while on the borders. After a nasty run in with a hyena, Kari was left with some scars on her paws and a fear of the furry dogs. It was on her way back to the coalition lands that she met up with a friendly lion, Hasidi, who walked her to the central lands to make sure she got there safely. The next time they met, he'd been attacked by hyenas and they did not part after that, soon realizing they had feelings for each other. When they were finally found out in the coalition lands, Laio was not as welcoming as Kari could have hoped. For fear of making the others uncomfortable, Kari decided it would be best for her and Hasidi to leave.

Personality: Mleli is an arrogant leopardess, thinking herself to be above most, especially lions. She is the type to let a bad mood get the best of her and drag it on and on until it hits a climax where there is no where but to go but down. If caught in a good mood and in the right company, she can be decently friendly but not without the usual touch of vanity.
History: Mleli and her sister Ajali, abandoned at a young age, were raised by a kindly, old and infertile leopardess. Mleli was especially tempermental while she was young and in the care of this leopardess, with six other orphans (including her sister). As she grew, she became more aware of one of the other cubs in the old leopardess' care, Tego, that seemed to follow her around a lot. It was as a juvenile that Tego confessed his love to Mleli, and she exploded at him- leaving quickly without taking the time to see just how much damage she caused or without a word to her Ajali.

Personality: Mtima'safi is a friendly goddess, overall. She can be vain but is also caring and intuitive. She does place value on esthetics, which can be perceived in a negative way. She values beauty, nobility, livliness and honesty the highest, always looking for the bright or beautiful side of things. She is not particularly fond of dark or grim things, particularly death. Since having cubs, she has started trying to go against her views in favour of her daughter, who most definetely was not born with a good soul.
History: There was once a trio of sibling gods; Mzimu'soka the god of __________, Mtima'safi the goddess of souls and Pepo'ardhi the god of body. Together they were guardians of a pride of lions. This pride _______________________________________, making Mzimu'soka their primary deity. Second to them was the worship of souls, and there was initially little worship of physical attributes. As the pride grew and time went on, they became closer to nature and as a result (so they believed) the traits of their god started appearing in them. As time went on, the pride lions started to care a great deal about the physical traits they now carried. With some putting importance on the spirits and others putting it on the special markings, they soon found that within the pride there was a difference in values that had a negative impact on their unity.
Pepo'ardhi, unlike Mtima'safi, was not happy to be a secondary deity- it was him who gave to the pride the characteristics of his brother and getting little to no credit was not something he appreciated. Because of this, Pepo'ardhi did something he knew would not end well for the pride. Amoret, one daughter of the pride's leaders, was born carrying each of the physical traits that the pride treasured. The traits, two different colored eyes, a full cross over one eye, a feather, green toes and scratchy brown fur, made the heiress a near clone of the god of spirits. All members of the pride were impressed, those who stuck mainly to spirit worship and those who deviated to being similar to the god all had a reason to want Amoret to be their next leader. This put a lot of pressure on Amoret, as Pepo'ardhi expected, and caused her to run away from the pride and the pressure. It was then that the conflict between sides of the beliefs peaked, not everyone in the pride was keen on naming a second heir and the arguing escalated. The pride did not last long after that and eventually dispersed.
The dispersion of the pride did not please Mzimu'soka, who'd lost his main group of followers. He figured out what Pepo'ardhi did and a fight ensued. Mtima'safi was unable to do anything for the two and had to let them finish what they started, and ultimately the fight ended very badly for both of the gods. Neither Mzimu'soka nor Pepo'ardhi survived, leaving both in need of reincarnation. It was the knowledge that her brothers could, and likely would, be reborn that kept Mtima'safi from getting too upset over their passings. Ever the type to look on the bright side and be optimistic, she took a short time to grieve the temporary loss of her brothers and the loss of their pride before moving on.
Shortly following her departure from her homelands, Mtima'safi found a new home and love in the Pridelands. Kizamaji, a blue Pridelander, showed her around and helped her join the pride in a mortal disguise. The goddess felt it would be better for her and the pride not to tamper with their beliefs by announcing to them that she was the goddess of souls, and instead chose to live there as a mortal. It was only after she found herself pregnant that she told Kizamaji who she was, and he accepted her and the cubs quite happily. The cubs were born with little trouble, though Mtima could see from the start that their daughter, Kilango, was not kind natured. This, and the fact cubs have a hard time keeping secrets, contributed to why she did not tell her children she was a goddess. Still the same optimistic lioness she always was, Mtima'safi did her best to give her daughter the benefit of the doubt and encourage her to be nice but nothing worked. In the end, Kilango almost killed her brother, Wahabu, who was saved only by the fact his father happened to find them before it was too late. Mtima'safi only got in a short word with Kilango before her daughter ran away, and was not found again. Life after that became somewhat more bearable, though the goddess of something spirtual soon found herself tiring of using her powers to hide something physical about her. Luckily, it was not long before Wahabu discovered his mother's secret and she was able to be herself when at home and not in large groups. It was not much longer, though, until Mtima started to realize that her children were growing up, and that none of her family would stop growing and changing until they died. This prompted her to leave her mortal family and the Pridelands.

Personality: Wahabu is an enthusiast in all that he does. He loves to have fun and laugh, even at his own expense. He has an adventurous side, and with an optimistic attitude he has only his limited common sense to tell him what not to do. His personality is somewhat surpressed around his sister, who seems unecessarily mean and thus it's worth trying not to make her upset.
History: Born into the Pridelands, Wahabu was the first born cub of goddess Mtima'safi and mortal Pridelander Kizamaji. His only sibling was a younger sister by the name of Kilango. One episode with his sister, where she disguised an attack on the poor cub as a game, left him with scars on his back and throat. After that, his sister ran away and Wahabu was able to adjust to life without her quite happily.

She enjoys being treated well and getting her way, and isn't particularly graceful about not getting those things.
History: The eldest daughter of Kijibwa and Siku, Janja was born in the jungle. She has two younger sisters, Jedi and Ekevu. They all currently live in the jungle, though there are plans to move on again.

Personality: In one word, Cheshi is afraid. She is afraid of loud noises, she is afraid of big animals, she's afraid of the wind sometimes.. she is afraid of the world. She is the shy type who would live by herself in hiding away from the big scary world if she could, and does spend a bit of time trying to do just that. Her trust is not given out easily, but once she knows and trusts another she'd have no trouble clinging to them.
History: Cheshi was born in the rogue lands just outside the Pridelands. She was the only child in her litter, and that her mother ever had. Her life started out a very happy one, and even when she was warned about how her fur might make her easier to spot she didn't worry so much about it. One day, her and her mother were attacked by a prey-bird while out and about. Cheshi's mother managed to save her daughter but got attacked herself, all within view of the bunny. Needless to say, this is when Cheshi found herself alone and terrified.

History: Memetuka was born a Pridelander, a daughter of Mdaawa and half-sister to Sarabi. She was a happy and somewhat naive youth while she remained with the Pride, always enjoying herself and not worrying about any consequences or potential dangers. She was new to adolescence when she met a rogue, Abedari, in the Pridelands and became infatuated with him. It wasn't long before she decided to leave her home to become a rogue and be with her love. The falling out of their happy little life started when Meme found herself pregnant, and from there her panic is what tore them apart. The adolescent felt shame and guilt for having cubs at such a young age, and with a rogue. When the single cub was born she became afraid of the new responsibilities that came with it. In a truly selfish act, she abandoned the cub and her mate, leaving behind only a name for her daughter: Shiri.
Afraid to face her family again, the lioness remained a rogue and lived by herself. She could never draw herself too far from the Pridelands, mainly staying hidden somewhere within it's borders. The only ones who know who Memetuka is now are Mufasa and Sarabi, and she is believed to be living in rogue lands with her lover.
