Chuakari was feeling on top of the world. Or she had been, until the anxiety of actually leaving hit her. She and Hasidi would be leaving the coalition lands, they would only be saying goodbye to one member. What would the others think? She felt certain she'd not be welcome back, they were supposed to work together and now she was abandoning them. Kari couldn't shake the feeling the closer she got to the central lands, where she hoped to find her friend. She was leading Hasidi with her, and he was one huge comfort to her. At least he would be with her, and he'd get to meet her friend- hopefully Sawia didn't mind lions like everyone else seemed to.
"Hasidi," she murmured to her mate, unable to keep all of her anxiety from her voice, "Keep your eyes open for a black and white cheetah, maybe a little smaller than me.." (( Post Order:
Kari Hasidi Sawia
Sound ok? ^^ ))

As the red lion limped along side her he could tell that she was worried about leaving her home, he knew what it was like to walk away from a place you always knew, he also knew that it was the right idea. He did not want her to worry or resent him for her decision.
"Are you sure you want to do this, leave your home?" he whispered, for reasons unknown to him he kept his voice low, maybe it was the fear of being yelled at.
Thinking of her instructions he looked around behind him and around him for any sign of another cheetah, was Sawia a boy or a girl?

Sawia was resting in a tree, her eyes open but reduced to mere slits to keep out the sun. A familiar scent awoke her from her vegetating, though, and she looked up to find a friend -- the pink cheetah, Chuakari, she'd befriended months ago. And a red lion walking beside her.
"Kari!" Sawia'na'mifu leapt from her tree and trotted forward, happy to see her old friend again.

"Yes, we have to," she sighed sadly, unable or unwilling to pretend there was no attachment to the place she grew up in. It wouldn't be easy, but at least she had Hasidi. "Besides," she added, glancing over to Hasidi with a smile, "You have to show me the water." It would all be worth it, in the end. She and Hasidi could be happy and worry-free, and they could see other beautiful areas.
Then a familiar voice caught her attention from the opposite direction, it was calling her name. She turned her head to look for the caller, and immediately she brightened when she spotted Sawia heading their way.
"Sawia!" she called back happily, then turned back to Hasidi, "That's her, Hasidi."

He was about to protest that they did not /have/ to go see the water, it was merely a suggestion, one that he was almost regretting. When the big dope heard a voice and then Kari called back to it. At her explaination Hasidi nodded and looked for the owner of the voice, his amber eyes twinkled with excitment and curiousity, one more cheetah friend to add to his looooong list.
"Hello Sawia..?"

It'd been a long while since she'd seen the pink cheetah, and a smile came to her face as she remembered their game of hide and seek. "Nice to see you again! I thought you'd disappeared."
And she turned her attention to the lion Chuakari stood beside. Friends, perhaps, or something more..? The fact that he was a lion, and not a cheetah, frankly never occured to Sawia to view as odd.
Obviously he knew her name already, so she swallowed the automatic urge she had to introduce herself when meeting someone new. "Hello," she greeted instead. "Nice to meet you...?" She left the comment open, so that either he could introduce himself, or Kari could for him.

Kari giggled, first at Hasidi's meek greeting and then Sawia's comment about disappearing. She shook her head, "It's good to see you again, Sawia! I wandered away, and ended up staying nearer the borders with Hasidi for a while." There was a lot that happned between that, but Kari really didn't feel the need to inform her friend of hyena attacks and the slow healing process. Perhaps the encounter with Laio would come up when she mentioned leaving..
With a smile, she leaned towards Hasidi and waited for him to introduce himself officially even though the pink cheetah had already revealed his name. Her whole manner seemed quite different from the initial worry over leaving, she was happy to see her friend, to introduce her love.. their intention to leave was forgotten.

There was a deep red blush that flowed through Hasidi, and it always happened around new friends, especially cheetahs. He admired the cheetah form above all others they looked sleek and powerful, and to him lions looked large and slow.
"I am Hasidi, I come from the Kusini'mwenzi lands, and I'm staying with Kari," the red heat in his face seemed to grip him and he was unable to talk. Happy to met anew person but unable to express anything he looked between the two of them, old old friends? Had Kari known Sawia all her life?

((Sorry about the delay sweatdrop December's been rough on me, between finals and moving back to my mom's place and fixing my comp >< <33))
Sawia grinned back. "Nice to meet you Hasidi," she said, failing to notice any signs of embarassment, for why should he be embarassed?
"You've grown," she commented, her eyes sweeping up Chuakari's form more thoroughly. Sure it was obvious, but this Kari was quite a different one than what she remembered.
Sawia needed to take a look at her own reflection, it seemed.

(( No worries~ December is a busy month for all~ ))
Kari beamed as Hasidi introduced himself, even including that they were staying together, though to what extent was really left up in the air. She looked back to Sawia, and when she spoke she sounded almost like a cub again.
"You've grown too," she commented, "It's funny how little we've seen each other even though we live in the same place. B-but that's kind of why I came to see you." As the cheetah got to the point of the visit, she no longer sounded quite so cheerful. She sat down and glanced over to Hasidi.

The red lion calmed slightly as they started to chat more casually, what was Sawia going to do? Attack them? Surely not, afterall if they're speaking about how much they've changed then they knew each other very well indeed. Hasidi wondered inwardly what Tafari or even little Angua would think of him now, he was an adult not a small runt like before, he could even hunt now!
"OH sure..you've changed, Sawia," Hasidi stammered out an awkward joke, he wouldn't have the slightest clue if she had. His amber eyes searched Kari for any sign that he was doing something wrong.

Sawia grinned at Hasidi, getting the joke, but saying nothing. She sense Kari had something to say, something important, and she'd felt the sudden switch in mood. "What's up, Kari?" she asked.

Watching Sawia grin at Hasidi made her certain she'd made the right choice coming back to see her friend- if she trusted anyone most in the coalition it would be her friend, no matter how long it'd been since they saw each other. With a slight start, she looked from both Hasidi and Sawia to just Sawia when questioned.
"Well, I- I'm leaving the coalition," she murmured in a voice just above a whisper.

"Oh..." That was unexpected. "Why?" Her ears had flattened slightly at the revelation, and inched closer to Chuakari.
