Music -- Naomi has a knack for music, with some instruments in particular that she can just pick up and...play, like it comes naturally. She favours the saxophone in particular, though can also play the clarinet, violin and piano competently, and will often disappear for hours on end to play and relax herself. She finds music helps her to forget about the troubles she has, and uses it to take her to a peaceful (ironic, I know) place in her mind – when she plays, it’s like nothing is wrong. Her love for music also extends to listening, and she’ll often be found with two white strands of wire hanging from her ears.

Capoeira -- A recent venture, suggested by General-Queen Apatite after she noted Eos’ graceful movements and rigid posture due to her previous dancing experience, capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that also combines elements of dance and music. Naomi is excited to have the opportunity to learn how to defend herself, but is struggling somewhat with the demanding physical nature of the sport. Whilst dancing was somewhat she was good at, she's finding that capoeira tires her out a lot more quickly and is a lot more strenous on different muscle groups that she isn't used to exercising. She's picked up the basic idea, but it still having to attend regular training sessions in order to progress to anything actually useful in a real-life situation. It's also become quite clear that she very much has a good side - her left ankle is significantly weaker than her right (due to a previous fracture, not that she remembers!), meaning that she is having to learn to adapt her style to fit in with this.

Romance -- A strange hobby perhaps, but Naomi is fascinated by all and any romance. Be it novels, theatre, or even that couple eating each others’ faces on the park bench over there, Naomi absorbs it all like a sponge and can only wish that her life could be so thrilling. She’s eager to try her hand at matchmaking, and is the friend that will quiz you until you explode about your recent date – did he hold your hand? What did you have to eat? Did you smile for a minimum of four seconds at the end of the date before inviting him in for coffee? No? DISASTER. You’ll just have to let her tag along next time (if there’s a next time) so she can make sure you do it right.

Naomi hates it, but being organised is something she is extremely good at. Colour coding is essential, and she knows her alphabet inside-out and back-to-front. She has learnt from experience that organising-as-you-go is far more efficient method than allowing everything to develop into a tip, and then spending hours tidying it up again. Naomi isn't OCD, and will keep her organised approach to herself - she doesn't feel any sort of impulse to clean, she just does it because in her opinion, it makes sense. If you ask her to help you organise, then of course she'll help. However, she won't insist on it and she won't judge you if your room turns out to consist mainly of a floor-drobe.

Non-judgemental, Naomi is an extremely approachable girl. She's patient, and will happily listen to anything you have to say without passing judgement. Naomi will go out of her way to ensure that no person feels excluded, and is an extremely dependable friend that you can count on for life. Once you are her friend, you'll be her friend for life - while it may take a bit of work to get there, once you're in then you're in. Naomi is devoted to her friends and to what she believes in, and you'll be hard pushed to convince her otherwise.

Oh, that was me!
Naomi prides herself in being honest, and that's one thing that will never change. She'll happily admit to a mistake, and offer to fix it as best she can at your earliest convenience. Whilst brutally honest at times, Naomi is always well meaning, and will always do her best to soften the blow - yes, that dress does make you posterior look a little larger-than-average, but this one is beautiful, will suit your figure perfectly and it's cheaper!

Flaws:

Oh, it's on the tip of my tongue!
Naomi is forgetful, and still has the same diary that she relies on to remember everything. She is a post-it note fiend, plastering them all over her room and try and ensure that she doesn't miss anything important. Names, dates, appointments, they all just slip through her mind like it's a sieve. She becomes quite defensive if anyone picks up on it, as she finds it to be a very embarrassing failure of her brain to work as it should. She'll try her best to remember, and it's always there somewhere. It's more that she nearly always needs a gentle nudge with the recollection.

Don't think I'm falling for that...
Naomi is stubborn, and can be a little cynical sometimes. She tends to take everything with a slight pinch of salt, and reads into things that don't actually require reading into. She always thinks there's a hidden meaning, and it will eat at her inside until she's finally got an answer that satisfies her. Naomi has the habit of finding problems where there aren't any, and certainly won't leave anything hanging (or let sleeping dogs lie, as the expression says). Needless to say, she will hold a grudge for years if need be, and she certainly won't be the one to apologise first (unless it was actually her fault - then she's super-duper sorry and would you like this beautiful bunch of flowers?!)

There’s no way to sugarcoat it – Naomi is immature. She sucks her thumb when stressed, sleeps with a teddy bear and throws temper tantrums if she doesn't get her own way. Attention is the most amazing thing in the world and she soaks it up like a sponge with water, praise in particular being something she thrives off of. Naomi is immensely eager-to-please, especially with those superior to her, and so she’ll throw herself at them to help in any way possible that might get her brownie points and a pat on the head, not actually thinking about the consequences it might have on her and those around her. She loves being babied and tidied up after, and is a huge sucker for cuddle time.

EOS POWER, MAKE UP!

Senshi: Sailor Eos, Corrupted Senshi of the Senses

Challenge: I'll beat you senseless!

Attacks:

Attack One: Eos Dark Flash!
Corrupt Sailor Eos raises a hand, calling her attack. A blast of black energy bursts from her hand, enveloping the enemy and wrapping around them, seemingly without any effect. Shortly afterwards, one of the five senses will experience an amplified stimulus, to the point where it becomes uncomfortable. For example, a blinding light, a high-pitched sound, a very sour taste etc.

The stimulus will be determined at random by me rolling a dice. Only one enemy can be affected, and the effects will last 20-40 seconds. Can be used three times per battle.

Attack Two (Super - LOCKED): Eos Dark Burst - Sight/Hearing/Taste/Smell/Touch!
Corrupted Super Sailor Eos raises her hand, calling out her attack. A blast of black energy bursts from her hand, sweeping across the field and striking anyone in range (friend or foe). Shortly afterwards, the sense that she originally called out will experience an amplified stimulus, to the point where it becomes painful. For example, a bright light, a high-pitched sound, etc.

Only one enemy can be affected. The sense overload will last 20-30 seconds, and this attack can be used twice per battle - but both times must be different senses.

Attack Three (Eternal - LOCKED): Eos Sensational Blackout!
Corrupt Eternal Sailor Eos raises her hand and looks to the sky, calling out her attack. A beam of black energy bursts from her hand and forms a dome with Eos in the centre, roughly 15ft tall and 30ft in diameter. Whilst inside the dome, any characters with a Order power signature will experience a total sensational blackout consisting of the traditional five senses (sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch).

More than one enemy can be affected if inside the dome. The sense loss will last for as long as Eos can keep the attack going, which will be a maximum of 15 seconds. The longer she keeps going, the more draining - a full 15 seconds will leave her exhausted and very open to attack.

FAMILY & SITUATION

Sailor Eos had a very traumatic corruption - it was done forcefully, without any warning, and as such her memory loss is substantial.

Naomi retains no memory of her previous civilian life as Selena Adams, besides occasional flashes of recognition. Whilst she's retained certain hobbies and personality traits, as that's who she is, she doesn't remember her previous job, her family, her friends - nothing. If she passes, for example, her brother Leon in the street, she may experience a feeling similar to deja vu, but nothing more. As such, she's in a fairly vulnerable position and relying heavily on the Negaverse to guide her forwards in her civilian life. They are, essentially, her family.

Corrupt Sailor Eos is also feeling rather delicate, and her memories are very jumbled. Whilst she still remembers old allies/enemies/vice versa, it's more of a 'oh, I've seen you before' than a complete recollection (Naomi/Eos being super forgetful probably doesn't help either!). If any meetings lead into a conversation then it's likely something will jog her memory, but even then she feels very fragile and it's unlikely that she'll remember everything crystal clear.

EOS: FURTHER INFORMATION

Eos the Asteroid

221 Eos is a rather large main belt asteroid.
It is classified as a K-type asteroid.
The extensive Eos asteroid family is named after it.
It was discovered by Johann Palisa on January 18, 1882 in Vienna.
It was named after Eos, Greek goddess of dawn.

Eos in Greek Mythology

In Greek Mythology, Eos is the Titanic Goddess of the Dawn.
Eos is the daughter of Hyperion and Theia, and sister to Helios (the sun) and Selene (the moon).
Eos, preceded by the Morning Star (Venus), is seen as the genetrix of all the stars and planets.
Her tears are considered to have created the morning dew.

Job: Azure Valley Academy - Assistant Secretary
Selena is saving up to afford her own flat, and her organisation skills impressed the Azure Valley Headmaster enough to earn her a job. The current secretary has just revealed a pregnancy, and so Selena is hoping for the chance of a promotion to cover her maternity leave.

Hobbies:

Ballet -- Selena was a talented ballet dancer when she left Destiny City, with a promising future in the dance industry. However, a mistake during a rehearsal lead to an awkward fall for the teen, and after a hectic trip to the hospital her foot was wrapped in a plaster cast and she was shipped off back home. Any hopes of a professional career were shattered along with her ankle, and she took it hard. Selena still attends a ballet class once a week, but it would be fair to say she takes far less interest now there is no future for her in the art.

Music -- Selena's original knack for musical instruments has developed into a more integral part of her life as she's aged. Whilst her prefered instrument is still the saxophone, she is also competent in the clarinet, violin and piano and able to easily pick up other instruments with a little practice. Selena relaxes herself with a good pair of headphones and her 160GB iPod classic, or with some blank sheets of music and a pen. Her songwriting skills still aren't quite up to par, and she currently won't allow anyone else to listen until dramatic improvements have been made.

Matchmaking -- Whilst her passion for reading has faded as she's had less and less time for it, Selena's passion for matchmaking could never die. Having successfully set one of her brothers up with his current fiancée, she is aware that it does work, and continues with her quest to ensure the whole world experiences the magical feeling of falling in love.

As far as Selena is concerned, she has learned the hard way, and now finds it hard to believe a thing anyone says. She'll take everything with a pinch of salt, and has the tendency of bottling everything up inside, afraid of showing emotion as it can be a huge vulnerability. Before it was a weakness that could be exploited, and she's determined never to feel that way again. If she thinks you're trying to trick her or exploit her helpful nature, she'll clam up and becoming very snappy, short-tempered and even a little rude.

The Family

Elizabeth Adams née Zuckermann - Selena's mother, deceased.
Percival Harold Adams - Selena's father, currently serving 19 years in Arizona State Prison for charges of fraud and embezzlement.
Theo Adams - One of Selena's twin older brothers. Currently engaged and living in Miami.
Leon Adams - One of Selena's twin older brothers. Currently living in Destiny City with Selena, but has plans to go travelling.
Scott 'Scottie' Adams - Selena's uncle, who she lived with in Destiny City previously.

Situation

Selena grew up in Destiny City, attending Knightside Elementary and then graduating to Meadowview. Her family always seemed a happy one - Percival had come from a poorer end of town, but had built up a family business selling carpets and managed to keep the family living comfortably. Her mother had previously suffered from depression, but had overcome the condition and never seemed to stop smiling.

Both Theo and Leon moved away to attend university, and Selena was left with her mother and father in Destiny City. During her second year, it was announced that her father needed to move out of state to help with further development and expansion of his humble carpet business. Elizabeth would follow her husband to the end of the earth, but Selena was less willing. Her life was, and always had been, in Destiny City. The teen elected to stay behind with her uncle Scottie, visiting her family during school holidays.

Then suddenly a cat came and started talking to her, and next thing she knew she had magical powers.

Whilst at first Selena tried to embrace the new responsibility, she quickly learnt that it wasn't all sparkles and sunshine. There were bad people out there - really bad people - and she struggled to keep up. After an event which saw her fall into a coma, the teen couldn't take anymore and fled Destiny City, wanting to be rid of Sailor Eos for good. She returned to her family, who were living in Arizona by this time, and cut off all contact with old friends and allies. She reinvented herself - dying her hair blonde and restyling it, continuing her education at a local high school and making new friends.

She'd been at a friends house studying when the phone call came - there were police cars surrounding her house. Confused, she rushed home to find her father being marched out in handcuffs, her mother screaming after the police officers that it had all been a terrible mistake. But there was no mistake - her father had been subtly fiddling with the figures for years. He was pulled up before the judge a fortnight later, and pleaded guilty to 29 counts of fraud and 3 counts of embezzlement. He was sentenced to 19 years in Arizona State Prison.

Selena's mother couldn't take the shame - she had a relapse of her depression, and two weeks later committed suicide by overdosing on sleeping tablets.

Leon and Theo both returned home to comfort their grief-stricken sister, but Theo had formed a life for himself in Miami. On a visit there, Selena had set up a date with a friend of a friend's older sister, and to say they'd hit it off would be an understatement - they were engaged, hoping to marry to following autumn. A year later a repossession notice was served, and the house was sold to help pay back what Percival owed the state. Leon suggested moving back to Destiny City with his sister. Selena objected - she didn't want to be anywhere near that place again - but she couldn't exactly explain to her brother why.

So here we are - she's back in Destiny City, living in a small flat with her older brother. Whilst she's come to terms with her mother's death and her father's crimes, Selena is still struggling to deal with being back in the a place that holds nothing but bad memories for her.

But hey. That's life, right?
