"That was a great class! You're doing really well!" Naomi smiled brightly as she wiped her brow with her towel before tossing it over her shoulder and rooting through her bag. Pulling out a bottle of water she popped the cap with her teeth and took two big gulps, swallowing and replacing it in the rucksack.

She'd been attending the capoeira classes for well over the month now, and had just taken the brave (in her opinion, at least) decision to up her schedule to three times a week. Aggie was just as keen, though hadn't been going for as long - it had been a couple of week since Naomi had run into the keen red-head and invited her along. Now here there were, fully-fledged workout buddies, and it was going really well! It never hurt to have a bit of competition when you exercised, it only made you work harder. Clipping her fringe back, the blonde quickly checked her hair in the wall-mounted mirror in front of her - she must be getting fitter, her face definitely wasn't as red as it normally was. Perhaps she'd even be good enough to get some battle action soon, she'd been pestering Labyrinthite about it on their last patrol.

Turning to Aggie, Naomi smiled brightly, "Fancy a coffee?" This was how their first session was ended, and with that session having been more intense than usual they were definitely due a reward. "Just a quick one?"

Aggie laughed a bit breathily, "Thanks! S-still catching up to you, though." She imitated Naomi and pulled her own water bottle out of the rather large bag she'd brought along to practice. Half the bottle later, she turned to face the other girl, a big smile on her face. "Sure, that sounds good!" A bit of relaxation after class was always a good idea, in Aggie's opinion.

Capoeira had turned out to be a lot harder than she'd initially thought; there'd been more than a couple of instances where the red-head had thought of simply quitting and finding something a bit easier. But although it'd been slow in coming, she could feel herself starting to learn a few of the beginner movements and she wouldn't trade the sheer feeling of success that brought her for anything. It also helped that she always felt more coordinated, more in control of her own body after a class.

"D'you know any c-coffee shops around here?" She was still pretty unfamiliar with this area of the city, only coming here for her capoeira classes, so it was probably better to rely on Naomi for directions around here.

Naomi smiled kindly at the red-head - it was to be expected that she was doing a little better, she'd been training for longer. Still, things were getting harder as she progressed further and the gap was fast closing. Soon they'd be comparable and that was when the real competition would begin. Naomi hoped that eventually they might even be able to spar with each other - whilst Renna had offered her powered training sessions, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have a couple of sparring partners. Different people had different strengths and weaknesses, and the answer to it all was practice practice practice.

"There's one just around the corner, they do amazing muffins." Perhaps a little backwards, working out and then helping yourself to a muffin, but she deserved it. It had been a hard couple of weeks, both emotionally and physically, and things were finally beginning to look up. She wanted to celebrate, and a muffin filled with raspberry-and-white-chocolate-goodness seemed the perfect way to do that!

Chucking her stuff a little haphazardly into her bag, Naomi turned to Aggie and smiled, "Ready?" Once she received an affirmative she took the lead, aware that the red-headed girl didn't know this part of the city well. It was only a two minute walk until they found themselves inside the cosy little cafe, which was practically empty. But then again, it was a Saturday morning, not exactly the peak-time for the coffee trade.

Muffins sounded great to Aggie - some might have looked askance at doing a strenuous exercise only to have a pastry, but frankly, they could mind their own business as far as the redhead was concerned. A muffin sounded divine, and she'd eat it with relish and a clean conscience, thank you very much.

Nodding with a smile to show Naomi that she was ready, Aggie followed the other girl out the door and through the unfamiliar streets, glancing around every so often to try and memorize the way. You never knew when knowing a neighbourhood could come in handy after all, and especially as a senshi.

The cafe turned out to be pretty small, but very nicely furnished - and with very few customers, which was a plus when one was still red in the face after their class and quite aware of it. "Do you, um, have a regular table you sit at?" Shifting slightly with one hand on the strap of her backpack, the redhead scanned the cafe - there were plenty of open seats, but just in case Naomi had a table she preferred over the others, Aggie would let her choose.

A regular table? Naomi shook her head and flashed a smile as she made her way towards the counter, "Nah, but it looks like the comfy sofas are free." Every coffee shop had them - the ridiculous squishy, comfy chairs that practically ate you when you sat in them. It was a rarity to find them unoccupied, and so the blonde was eager to order quickly so she could secure the pair the spot.

"I'll have a caramel latte and a raspberry and white chocolate muffin please!" she asked cheerily, paying with cash and a warm smile before moving down the counter to wait for her drink at the designated end. She indicated the chairs to Aggie and raised her eyebrows, mouth breaking open into a grin. "We'll have to be quick!" She wasn't being too serious - it wasn't the end of the world if someone else took them, but then again with the street as dead as it was she doubted anyone else would appear in the time it took the barista to make her coffee.

As soon as her drink and now-plated muffin arrived, Naomi moved over to the sofas to secure them. She placed her bag with a flourish in order to reserve the seat for her red-headed friend and set her purchases on the table, looking up expectantly to wait for Aggie to sit before she started.

"Ohhh, the comfy sofas!" Admittedly Aggie didn't often frequent the local coffee shops, but even she knew about the comfy chairs that seemed to be a staple of the cafes. Nodding with a quick grin to Naomi, the redhead moved closer to the counter to give her order. "Er, just a regular coffee and an apple muffin, please?" She paid quickly, stealing glances alternatively at her friend and the still-open chairs before moving on down the counter to receive her order and join her blonde friend.

Gently taking Naomi's bag down from the seat and putting her own purchases on the table, Aggie plopped down in the comfiest chair ever. "Bliss..." with a happy sigh and a quick stretch of her shoulder muscles, the redhead turned to her friend and started putting milk and sugar into the regular coffee she'd ordered. "So, um... what've you been getting up to lately?" It was a lame conversation starter and she knew it, so grimacing she followed it up with a weak half-joke, "other than being a-awesome at capoeira, that is."

Naomi giggled at her friend's reaction, eagerly pinching a piece of muffin in her fingers and dropping it into her mouth. "Mmmm..," she mumbled softly, chewing slowly and savouring the delicious treat as she reached for her latte and took a gulp of that too.

Whilst the giggle could've passed as being normal, the snort that followed wasn't, and Naomi nearly choked on her coffee. All in all, quite an embarrassing scenario, and it took her a few moments to clear her throat before she could answer with bright red cheeks. "Awesome, I think not." Trust her to look like a complete nutter, it was like she couldn't drink normally. "Sorry, inhaling coffee isn't quite how it's supposed to be done." Clearing her throat again, she distracted herself with another mouthful of muffin before remembering that Aggie had actually asked her a question. Well, she was making a great impression right now.

"Not much really," she shrugged, figuring that Nega-training wasn't something you brought up in everyday conversation, "I've had classes most days this week - you would not believe the number of times the word 'rape' comes up in ancient greek literature."
