Okay. First time patrolling. Calm.

Sailor Eos walked down the street, glancing around her, not entirely sure if she was doing this...right. There wasn't exactly a handbook entitled 'How to be a Sailor Senshi', and only a couple of days ago had she actually been awakened and found out that all this stuff about magical powers was real. And that the terrorists weren't actually terrorists at all, just...slightly misunderstood Senshi, or occasionally members of this Negaverse gang.

Yeah, maybe she should find out a bit more about them, too.

She wasn't entirely sure what she was supposed to do. Fight bad guys? What, if there was someone robbing a jewellery store was she supposed to stop them? Oh, ********* had mentioned something about star seeds, and protecting them. ...Basically, she was looking out for strange stuff. Oh, and youmas! Youmas were bad, and ugly, and really really...nasty. How she was supposed to kill them, though, Eos didn't have a clue. Even ********* had told her she was more of a distraction, than a full out offensive attacker. A team - maybe that was a good idea? But she didn't know anyone, and she didn't really want to ask people to help her...it sounded kinda pathetic.

Maybe she could do this on her own.

Speaking of robbing jewelry stores..

One hand rested on the glass pane, as Valleriite eyed the necklace before her. A pretty little thing, that's what it was; a star and moon entangled together, complete with a thin chain. Although it had caught her eye with it's initial appearance, she had seen the motto on countless of other pieces.

"How unoriginal." She scoffed, with a flip of her hair as she turned on her heel. A cheap little trinket like that, even she could do better.

And she would, she mused, her lips curving into a wicked grin. Not a mere star, but a starseed.

With a amused grin, she observed the girl on the street beside her, stroll down the sidewalk with a naive ignorance, oblivious to the dangers around her. Unfortunately, it hadn't been only the the girl's presence that had caught her eye but the familiar pattern of the outfit. It practically screamed <******** senshi, here let me tell the entire world what I am, why dont I. But unlike Alkaid or Foramen, the girl walked around, in a awkward and nervous manner as if new to the job.

Which she probably was. "Fu, is she stupid?" Val muttered, breaking into a laugh as she brought a gloved hand to her mouth in an attempt to smother her laughter.

But the sound of laughter echoed in the night, as if magnified by the silence of the night, the soft chuckles reaching the other girl's ears.

Oh, she recognized this street. It had a few shops Selena liked on it, including a nice jewellery shop and a cosy little coffee shop - not the shufflepuck, but a smaller one that Selena liked. Flattening her skirt a little, she continued down the street, having stopped for a moment to observe a particularly nice dress in a window. Perhaps if she asked Scottie really, really nicely...

Laughter reached the Senshi's ears, and she turned her head in the direction of the sound with a confusion frown. There was another girl, on the opposite side of the street, dressed rather...strangely, to say the least. Something themed with the suits in a deck of cards, topped off with a hat and some large, metallic cross? She'd never seen a costume like it, and found herself intrigued. "Can I help you?" she asked, taking a few steps towards the stranger, but at the same time staying wary.

"Help?" Val chuckled, as she lowered her hand to rest on her hip.

Hmm, this could turn out to be interesting. "No, but thank you of course." She said, plastering a fake and friendly smile on her face.

If anyone needed help, it was her. In her entire life, never had Val heard anything sillier then a senshi holding a polite little conversation with a member of the Negaverse. With that naive attitude, polite demeanor, and silly outfit, she was practically asking to be attacked.

And unlike some, Val was not above ambushes or sneak attacks. Especially when an opportunity like this arose.. only a fool would hesitate to take it.

In a few quick strides, she had covered the distance between them. With a amicable grin, Val appeared to be no more then another stranger on the street-- despite her flashy clothes and appearance. There was no malice in her eyes, nor a hint of cruelty in her expressions as killers usually wore.

Placing a finger on the girl's chin, she gave her a critical examination. "Not bad.." She murmured, as her hands trailed down from the girl's chin to her chest in a lazy manner. Her hands met the accessory of stars at the girl's neck, and before the other girl could guess, Val jerked her forward with startling force.

"..For a senshi." The last words were whispered into the girl's ears, as a prelude of what was to come.

Where was *********? ********* would know what to do now. Was this girl to be trusted? Oh, what if she was one of those bad people, the Negaverse. She was dressed far too strangely to be a simple civilian, that much was obvious, but she could just be going to a fancy dress party? Suddenly the strange girl's face was mere centimetres from her own, and Eos took a step back to put a more comfortable distance between them. Whatever the case, she had to be wary. What was it they were after, that ********* had said? ...Starseeds?

She quickly pushed away the finger that made contact with her chin, not feeling at all comfortable with how close this girl was. Civilian or not, she couldn't get that close, not unless they were friends. And Sailor Eos was fairly sure they weren't friends. She wouldn't stop, though, and thenext thing the naive girl knew was as she was jerked forwards by the stars dangling from her collar, giving a small yelp as she tried to push the other away, straining her neck to get her face away. ...Senshi? She knew!? Oh this wasn't good, this wasn't good. Why hadn't ********* told her more about what to do, how to fight!? "Let go!" she hissed, a surprising amount of malice forming in her words. This had to be the Negaverse, it had to be!

Not really sure of what else to do, she clamped her eyes shut, gasping out the words, "Eos Senseless Flash!"

At such a close distance, it would be far more difficult for Valleriite to dodge the energy blast that flowed from the Senshi's hands. The effects took a few moments to kick in, of course but hopefully by that time she'd have already been released.

((Rolled here. She'll lose her hearing <3))

Amused by the girl's attempt at resistance, Val held her back with ease. Like a cat against a tiger, the girl's flails and yells proved to be useless against her.

The girl continued to protest in that annoying manner of hers, her tone an irritating buzz to Val's ears. There was no doubt that if any other girl had done the same, she would have been guaranteed a good slap to the face, and more. Fortunately, Eos was not a mere girl, but a senshi- who required delicate care.

If one could call killing them 'delicate', that is.

One hand gripped the Eo's necklace as the other held back her wrist, cutting off all attempts of escape. "Shy, are we?" She mused, tightening her grip on the girl, nearly breaking her wrist. In reply to her question, the girl answered back with a cry. "Eos Senseless Flash!" Blinded for a mere second by the brilliant flash, Val let loose of her hold on the senshi, dropping her to the ground.

To Val's surprise, the attack did nothing other then to envelop the lieutenant in a bright light. What the ******** hell was that supposed to be?

Eyes narrowing, she shoved the girl to the ground, grinding her heel into the girl's stomach. Chin up in the air, she gave the girl, what appeared to be a look of disdain tinged with annoyance. Of all things, she certainly hadn't expected such a useless attack.

"And just what did you expect to do with that attack, hm?"

This was about the time when she wished her attack was a little more instantaneous.

She gave a small hiss at the tight grip on her wrist, trying to twist it out of the other girl's hand, using her flexible limbs. However, she soon topped that with a sharp, pained gasp - no, that wouldn't work, not without breaking the bone. That'd be an interesting one to explain to Scottie. And then she was on the ground, another sharp cry as she landed somewhat hard - but this wasn't the time for sitting still. Both arms came down, despite one being sore, and she tried to shuffle away and put some distance between the pair.

However, the Lieutenant's heel put a quick stop to that, Eos unable to stop herself crying out as it stamped into her stomach, knocking the air out of her. Yeah, this was definitely some stupid Negaverse chick. Instinctively curling up into a fetal position, trying to protect her more delicate organs from further damage, the girl decided to bide her time. It shouldn't be long now, the youma had gone limp pretty quickly...

In her head, she counted down.

Three, Two, One...

Oh, had she given up? Val smirked, as she gazed down at the senshi by her feet. That look suited her; to crawl on the ground, covered in mud and grime, as if she belonged there. While she wasn't quite begging for mercy yet, she would soon.

The senshi curled up in a fetal position in a valiant attempt to protect herself to protect herself against Val's attacks. Not that it would do any good of course.

"Silly girl, are you waiting for someone to save you?" The words were spoken in a low tone, as Val crouched lower, deepening the pressure of her heel. Eye-level on par with the senshi's, her hand hovered above the senshi's chest as if preparing for the plunge.

Never before has she taken another senshi's starseed, this would have been the first.

"Ta ta, dar-"The words came out as a blank, as Val's hearing began to go deaf.

Her hands flew to her throat, as if she had lost her voice. But it wasn't only her voice she had lost, she soon began to realize. The senshi's words no longer proved to be audible, as everything soon became eclipsed in silence. "What did you do to me..?" She wanted to ask but no words came out.

Distracted by the loss of her senses, she hesitated in her attack, allowing the senshi a few moments to escape from her hold.

The lieutenant crouched down closer to her, practically hissing confident words into her ears. Eos refused to shudder, refused to give her any sort of satisfaction as a strange, iron-will crept over her, determination keeping her from moving or crying out, as more pressure was placed on her stomach. She only bit down on her lip harder, so hard that she tasted the coppery tang of blood, though the pain faded to nothing compared to the pain her stomach was currently experiencing.

A hand hovered above her chest - was this what happened, when your starseed was stolen? Did they just plunge in and rip it out, or was there some magical attack involved? Luckily, however, her attack kicked in at just the right moment, and she'd gotten lucky - hearing, a rather major sense. She hesitated, and that was all the chance Sailor Eos needed as she summoned her remaining strength, legs swinging round to collide with Valleriite's, in an attempt to send her flying off of her feet, and give Eos enough time to compose herself, and most likely run away. She was scrambling to her feet even now, without knowing what had worked and what hadn't, the occasional hiss escaping her lips.

The effect soon began to wear off, as Val realized she could hear again. "Pft, some attack." Val scoffed, lowering her hands from her throat. But before she had time to react, a pair legs swung around in collision with her's. Daring to attack, is she? Cursing, she lifted herself off the ground to give chase.

"You're not getting away that easily." She murmured under her breath, keeping the girl in her line of vision.

Her platform boots clattered against the asphalt pavement, as Val dashed forward covering the distance between them in a matter of seconds. One hand out stretched, she reached forward to grab the girl. By her neck or hair, Val didn't give a damn as long she got the hell what was coming to her.

To her frustration, her fingers met the smooth surface of gold as it grasped the star collar on the girl's neck.

It's delicate structure snapped, as it broke apart from the girl's neck. And as if the girl had sensed her opponent right behind her, she turned the corner, cutting her Negaverse opponent off at a dead end, the senshi nowhere in sight. Great. "Just my luck." Val scowled, as she gripped the senshi's necklace within her hand.

Where the hell had she gone now?

Her gaze skimmed over the dark alley, spotting only one dumpster, and several trashcans. From a distance, one couldn't help but to notice the tart scent of old cigarettes and booze. Disgusting. Refusing to get within a mere feet of the thing, she turned on her heel as if to leave. But for a moment, she stood there as if in a daze. Fingering the star, she noted the words engraved behind it. Eos.

"Well Eos, it appears that we'll be meeting again next time." She whispered, as her lips curved into a little grin. Slipping the pendant into her pocket, she tossed the dumpster one last glance of confirmation before taking her leave.

Her footsteps soon faded away into the night, as silence took it's reign once more.

It worked! Valleriite went crashing to the ground Eos was up and off, fleeing the scene. Tears stung her eyes, a delayed reaction to the pain in her stomach, but she ignored that, ignored the fear. Just kept running, blood pounding in her head, breath rushing in and out of her lungs. She could hear the clattering of boots, she was being chased again, but she'd had a head start, surely that meant something...

An involuntary yelp escaped as she felt fingers scrape the skin of her neck, a jerking motion as her collar was ripped off, providing the diversion she needed to sprint around the corner and dive behind the dumpster, nose wrinkling instinctively at the disgusting smells that engulfed her. The footsteps rounded the corner, before stopping, several tense moments elapsing in which words were murmured - Eos didn't quite catch them.

Footsteps lead away before fading. Standing, a finger traced where her collar had been, silently hoping it would return next time she henshined up. But for now the Senshi powered down, before sprinting off again, back in the direction of home.

She definitely couldn't do this alone.
