Lily headed out of the front door to her highschool, yawning slightly. She really needed to get some sleep and soon, but the fear of another nightmare was just too much. It was good motivation to stay awake.

Her ballerina flat clicked lightly with each step she took down the steps in front of the school. Her movement were slow and most of the students rushed by her, but she had no intention of using more energy than she really had to spare so she walked along slowly.

Once she reached the bottom of the steps she wondered what was on her schedule for the day and realized she had no lesson, and her homework could wait until later. This was great, but she definitely need something to do if she was going to stay awake.

Selena, unfortunately, did have lessons that afternoon - a piano lesson, followed shortly by a saxophone lesson, and possibly a ballet class later that evening. And she'd been out patrolling a large portion of last night, so was a little clumsy with tiredness as she strolled down the pavement on the way from Meadowview, rucksack swinging on her back and neatly-written revision notes in her hands, hurriedly stuffing them into said rucksack. She'd failed that last test, she knew she had, due to the fact she had been patrolling rather than studying last night. She hadn't checked her diary, and as such hadn't remembered the test until this morning. Due to her forgetful nature, Selena meticulously recorded everything in her leather-bound diary, but deciding to patrol had become a spontaneous activity that she hadn't started recording yet.

Boy, had she learnt her lesson.

Having another thing to worry about, on top of her schoolwork, homework, ballet classes, and everything else in between, was not what the busy teen needed right now. But she didn't really have much choice, she...well, she was Sailor Eos now. She just had to deal with it, even if she didn't want to. ...The girl paused, blinking her eyes in surprise at the maturity of her thoughts. Even she was surprised! Maybe she should be rushed off of her feet more often.

Continuing forwards hurriedly, Selena wasn't watching where she was going, and gave a cry as she walked straight into another girl in front, falling hard onto the floor.

Lily suddenly found herself on the ground, her bottom throbbing, her plams sore from having to soundly catch herself, and her back stinging from her backpack slapping against it as she hit the ground. She groaned lightly looking up to see nothing and looked around widely before her eyes landed on another girl on the ground with her. Other students seemed to be laughing at the little mishap as Lily pulled her tired body upright.

She held out her hand to the other girl, "Sorry about that. I was walking really slow. I am very tired, been really busy as of late," she lied though it was techically a half truth.

As Salior Maia she had to patrol for long periods of time late at night, but it was really the not going to sleep after that was currently what she was afflicted by.

She smiled lightly, "I'm Liliana," she said looking at the girl, "Liliana Jacobs." She looked over the girl once more familiarity swimming through her, "I think ...," she started pausing for a moment, "I think you are in my English class."

Owww...that had hurt.

Selena winced, slowly pushing herself up, a soft groan following at the ache in her elbow. Finding a hand offered to her, Selena took it gratefully, only glancing to the owner after she'd pulled herself upright. A vaguely familiar looking girl...but where from, the forgetful girl didn't have a clue. She offered an embarrassed smile, dusting herself off. "S-Sorry. It was my fault," she hurriedly excused herself, glad that the other girl didn't seem too hurt. Selena rubbed her elbow, unable to give much more of a smile due to the dull ache.

"Liliana?" she repeated, chewing her bottom lip lightly. Nope, didn't ring a bell at all. But Selena knew how forgetful she was, and it was entirely possible the two had been introduced before and she'd just forgotten. English class? "Possibly?" Selena offered, not entirely sure of what else she could say. She didn't have a clue what half of her English class looked like.

Liliana gave a small smile, "No, its my fault too. I was walking far to slow. I'm a little tired, studying ... er late. Exams, you know?"

"Yes," she said softly, "Liliana. You are Selena right. I remember now because you have curls like mine. I always noticed curls, you hair is very pretty."

Lily frowned slightly for a moment hoping she did not sound as though she had been staring at the girl, no that would be wierd. She just had a good memory, sometimes for the oddest things.

"Anyway, I digress. Are you okay? Nothing bruised or broken," she asked looking to the girls elbow.

*Sorry it took so long ... I didn't realize I did not have this in my journal*

Selena offered a small smile, cheeks slightly pink. Ohhh, this was awkward. She nodded as the name was repeated yet again, trying to make a box in her head to lock it away in so she wouldn't forget. Selena knew she'd forget anyway, but at least she'd made an effort. "Thank you," she responded to the compliment, her smile growing slightly wider.

"I'm fine, thanks. Just a little sore," she shrugged, smiling to show that there were no hard feelings. Her elbow was grazed - there was a little blood, but nothing major, it'd heal up just fine. Besides, she'd had far worse recently. "No, nothing broken. A few bruises, but that's nothing new."

...Crap. No, wait, that was giving herself away! "Clumsy, y'know?" she covered, cheeks pink.

Lily returned the girls smile full force, "I am glad to here you okay," she said before the girl stated she had bruised but they were not new.

She didn't even make any connection to bruising and senshi and the negaverse. She nodded looking solem, "Yeah I got quite a few my self to. Now I've added another to my back," she laughed remembering the stinging slapp of the bag.

Lily simply nodded her understanding, her bruises came being a senshi and a rather wicked nightmare, but she definitely couldn't say that.

"So Selena, um where you headed off to," she asked in hopes of making sure she wasn't keep the girl from anything.

Oh, this girl was prone to bruises too? Selena grinned, her comment about being clumsy wasn't entirely untrue. She was a bit of a butter-fingers. Her cheeks flushed even pinker as Liliana mentioned her back, guilt flooding through her, "I'm really sorry, Liliana. I should pay more attention."

Where was she heading to? Her smile brightened considerably as she began on a topic she quite liked, "I'm off to my piano lesson - then saxophone, then possibly ballet. Busy evening for me," she grinned, running a hand through her hair before checking her watch. She had a couple of minutes. "Which direction you walking in?"

Lily held up her hand waving them slightly and shaking her head, "No no, its okay. I wasn't paying attention either, its not all your fault. Not to mention I should really have left the book I do not need in my locker."

Lily was laughing, though it sounded tired. She was happy, however, to forget about sleepless night and horrible nightmares however.

Her eyes lit up at Selena's statement, "All of those in one night. Surely you will be exhausted, but I must admit I am usually just as busy."

At Selena question she pointed off in a direction, "Walking to meet my sister. She is going to take me home, tonight is my free night, though I will be practicing my singing when I get home."

"I have piano lessons tomorrow and ballet as well I believe. How long have you been playing and dancing?"
PostPosted: Sun May 02, 2010 8:56 am

Despite the girl's reassurances, Sleena still felt guilty. However, the pair of them argueing about who was to blame wouldn't get them anywhere, so Selena dropped the subject with a polite smile.

"You get used to it," she shrugged modestly, smile still there, "It is tiring, though. Sometimes I just want to have an evening to myself, y'know? Sleep all evening." she joked with a grin, also somewhat more tired of late. The nightmares certainly weren't disappearing.

Oh, she was heading in the same direction? Selena took a few steps, indicating for the red-head to follow her, "Can we talk and walk?" she asked with the same polite, sweet smile, taking a few more steps as if to indicate she needed to get home. "I've been dancing since I was tiny - I can't even remember when. Piano not as long." she answered, smile brightening.

Lily grinned lightly, "If you say so. I do not think I'd be able to do so much in one day and I am kept fairly busy. Been so busy lately, I have had to keep rather late night. Studying is so tiring, but I enjoy it, for the most part. I know what you mean by wanting to sleep all evening, I really do."

When Selena asked if they could walk and talk she nodded and followed after the girl. They were headed in the same direction, so she did not see the harm.

"Really, since you were tiny. You must be really good then. I have been dancing since I was seven and playing piano since I was 4. Even through all the years, though I can dance and play I have developed no real talent for either thing. I am good, I guess. I'd say decent really though."

Lily gave the girl a small smile, "I do not think I will get any better. What about you?"
PostPosted: Mon May 03, 2010 1:59 am

"It gets easier, the longer you do things. You kinda get into a rhythm and just...keep going," Selena tried to offer an explanation, but as per usual failed quite a bit in theat field, so dropped the subject as she continued walking, glad the other girl had joined her.

"Oh, I'm not that good..." Selena responded modestly, cheeks pink, "Dancing's what I want to do, though. It just makes me so happy. Piano I'm decent at, and I've only recently started Saxophone, but ballet is what I really enjoy." Whilst occasionally she'd be exhausted, and really just not want to go to one of her instrumental lessons, that had never once happened with ballet. Just the thought that she had a ballet lesson later that day made the girl smile.

"There's always room for improvement," she mused out loud, tapping her chin thoughtfully, "You've just got to work at it."

"Yes, I guess that is so, but still I think that I would rather not overschedule myself. I have so much on my plate already. I mean its junior year for me and I am having to think about and start applying for colleges. It seems like life is just going by so quickly."

Lily's thought's were a bit rambled as she was very tired, but she was trying her very best to keep on topic, to keep the conversation from jumping.

"I bet you are better than you think you are, especially if you love to dance and it makes you happy. I like dancing, yes, but it is not the thing I put all my effort into. No, that is reserved for my singing. I guess maybe we are sort of a like in that aspect huh?"

Lily smiled and nodded when Selena stated that there was always room for improvement. That was true with everything you did, "Maybe I will improve. I have no intention of giving up dancing. It is really great to help keep me fit. Not to mention dancing and piano may help in further my singing career, once I become a singer that is."
PostPosted: Fri Jun 11, 2010 4:09 am

"Life goes quickly - you've just got to remember to enjoy it while you can," Selena offered with a smile, fiddling with a piece of hair. She twirled it around her finger, letting it slide between her fingers.

Her cheeks were still pink with embarrassment - she was rather modest, really, and to be told she was good by someone who hadn't even seen her dance was a little embarrassing for the girl. She smiled, though, not wanting to seem rude as she inclined her head as a thank you. "You're a singer?" she asked, trying to change the subject away from herself, "That's really cool."

Singing career? Woa, this girl knew where she wanted to go and exactly what she wanted to do. That was...admirable. Selena was still umming and aahing, mainly about whether to stay in Destiny City or leave to live with her family again.

Maia smiled at Selena, "That a good piece of advise. One should definitely enjoy life to the fullest. It does seem that time passes by far to quickly sometimes."

Maia felt a bit lighter and more normal as each moment of the conversation passed. Selena was definitely right, she really needed to enjoy life because she really never knew when someone or something once going to try to kill her.

Maia beemed when Selena said it was cool that she was a singer. "I've been singing for a long as I could talk, though my mother always says she swears I came out singing. I practice everyday and even sing for the kids at the community center on the weekends. Singing is so wonderful. I hope someday the whole world can hear my song."

Maia looked around it seemed they been walking for a while and they were almost to where she was suppose to meet her sister. It really seemed like only a moment had passed it was so odd, sort made the conversation come full turn in a way.
