Ugh, her head hurt.
But despite that, she found herself oddly comfortable. Almost like she was on a mattress, but as her fingers scraped the surface underneath her the teen quickly came to realize that she wasn’t on a mattress. She felt dirt and small fragments of rock, and that meant she was on the ground. ...Wait, what?
Pale grey eyes snapped open, before quickly narrowing again to accustom to the light. And what a light it was. Streaming through the beautiful canopy above her, practically sparkling in the wonderful forest surrounding her, her eyes quickly became accustomed to the light, and Sailor Eos pushed herself up onto her knees. The leaves were the most vivid green, a colour she’d only ever imagined before, and despite the fact that the ground beneath her looked remarkably comfortable, now she was on her knees and very much awake, instead of in a half-asleep half-awake state, she was aware that the section she was kneeling on wasn’t very comfortable at all. The dark-haired girl pushed herself to her feet to solve the problem, and as she did realized that she wasn’t Selena – she was Sailor Eos. The dawn-coloured dress, the white gloves, the slim tiara lining her head. But she hadn’t henshined up, had she?
Where had she been? Wait, hadn’t she been in her room, on the phone...to Damian! That was it! So how the hell had she gotten here, to this wonderfully beautiful woodland that was like it had been plucked straight from her dreams, and henshined herself up without noticing? It just wasn’t possible, surely. Someone could have carried her here, perhaps, but only she could henshin herself up. Or at least that was what she believed, ********* could have left something out she supposed... Besides, where in Destiny City was there a forest as amazing as this!?
But that was just it. Sailor Eos was beginning to get the sinking feeling of unfamiliarity, and beginning to realize that this wasn’t Destiny City. This was somewhere completely and utterly different. And that scared her.
...But wait.
What was that?
She pivoted on the spot, but it was gone. She sighed, figuring she was beginning to hallucinate now, but then there it was again. She turned, and it was gone. Something was there.
She didn’t want to stay here anymore. The forest that had seemed so beautiful and wonderful at first now only thrusted unfamiliarity and fear upon the Senshi of Senses. There was something here, something too quick for her to see, and she was getting surer and surer that there was something hidden in the forest. A secret, that it wasn’t all it appeared to be. Right at that moment, the only thing Sailor Eos knew was that she wanted to get out of that small clearing. And so she did, picking a direction and quickly heading off in it, glancing over her shoulder every now and again to make sure nothing was following her.
