Patrolling alone seemed easier, and Flora was less unsure, even though she had always thought it was dangerous.
It was being promoted to Super, probably. She was still riding off the happiness and pride that she had actually, and finally gotten recognition for her efforts, and gained more power! Her new power was still a bit strange and different to her though, and so, she was determined to get more experience in using it in battle. What else would be better than searching for youma, or maybe a Negaverse Lieutenant? Hopefully it was the former, although she did want to take down a Lieutenant one day.
Even though her phone wouldn't work properly, Flora now kept it on her since Pegasus had told her to promise that she would call if she ever needed help. And hey, it was always good to see if there were any senshi in the nearby area! Even though if it was a bit hard to tap each name and then wait for the screen to load. The senshi cellphone really did not favor Chronos' court.
With a sigh, Flora snapped it close after a few minutes of impatience and frustration and resumed patrolling properly. It wouldn't do to be caught unawares by a youma after all!

Ugh, she really had to find a partner.
Sailor Eos ran down one side street, then another, lungs struggling to cope as she kept up the same gruelling pace. She'd stop, if it weren't for the rattling of dustbins behind her, informing her that the youma was still hot on her tail. It was an especially disgusting-looking one today, like a long garbage snake sliding through the aleys after her - it was a lot quicker than a snake, though. She could almost feel it breathing on her ankles, as if it were going to strike should she slow down at all.
She burst out onto a street - thankfully, deserted, due to the early hour of the morning - and took a few moments to glance from side to side, to find out where she was. Unluckily, this was the chance the youma needed, as it lunged towards her, striking her hard between her shoulder blades, sending the senshi flying forwards with a cry.

There was a noise, the sound of crashing garbage cans, which alerted the senshi as she prowled the rooftops. Rooftops were the best way to patrol, in Flora's opinion; the height meant that it was easier to just glance down to see if anyone was about. It also meant it added the element of surprise. She ran to the other side of the building she was on, which was when the sound was coming from, staring down to see a slithering tail of the youma flicker around the corner to follow a pink attired senshi.
It looked like she was in trouble; the youma had hit its target and was looming closer to the girl. Flora leaped down, landing a distance away from the girl, and called. "Hey youma, look, it's another senshi over here!" Distraction was the main strategy Flora liked using with youma, and it worked most of the time. Today was no exception, for the youma's head turned at the voice, regarding the super senshi with a hiss. As Flora stood tense, ready to dodge any attacks, she motioned to the girl to get up with a quick glance in her direction and a jerk of her head.

This was becoming an all-too familiar occurance. Eos, on her front, in the dirt, with a youma on her back.
She flailed around, trying to throw the youma off or turn herself over. If she could just face the disgusting thing, she could possibly hit it with an attack - whilst it might not hurt it, the initial painless blast of energy might confuse it enough for her to get the upper hand and throw it off. Writhing around, she was almost there, when suddenly something else seemed to distract the youma. Sparing a glance to the side, she was surprised to find another Senshi jumping and dancing about, trying to get the youma's attention. The girl's motions were all the intruction Eos needed, as she took the chance to throw the youma off balance, giving her the chance to clamber to her feet (rather clumsily, mind) and stumble a few paces away, a hand on her chest as she tried to get her breath back.
The youma gave a shriek as it tumbled to the ground, but soon righted itself, confused by the sudden appearance of a second Senshi. It glanced from Flora, to the gasping Eos, to Flora, to Eos again. One would think the logical thing to do would be to go for the exhausted senshi, but this youma seemed to decide otherwise, giving a loud hiss before it dived towards Flora.

"Whoa!" Flora exclaimed as the youma decided to come for her. While it certainly wasn't very surprising; youma tended to make such stupid decisions at times like this, it was still dangerous and quite intimidating. There were so many different kinds of youma that no matter how many you had seen, it seemed as though the creative designer of the Negaverse had countless ideas. This one? Was just plain icky.
And coming way too close. "Flora Pollen Storm!" The Senshi of Spring decided to unleash her attack, focusing the large cloud of pollen at the head of the youma with her hands. Hopefully, the thing actually had nostrils to breathe the pollen in.
"So um," She began, addressing the dark-haired senshi, "what's your attack?" Her own would not stay for long, she knew, and if the youma didn't succumb to the poison in the pollen, perhaps this senshi could do something?

Still catching her breath a little, Sailor Eos looked on as the youma charged at her saviour, taking a step forwards as if she was going to do something, before remembering breathing was currently taking priority over speaking. The other senshi - who seemed stronger, in some way? - called out her own attack, seeming to surround the youma in a flurry of powder. A few more breaths and Eos was mostly back to normal, taking a more confident step forwards this time, holding her hand up just as Flora asked about her attack.
"Eos Senseless Flash!" called the Senshi, a blast of energy flowing from her towards the flailing youma, enveloping around it and...doing nothing? Several tense moments passed, in which the youma seemed more confused by the cloud of pollen than actually affected. However, the youma quite suddenly dropped to the ground with a shriek, flailing around on the ground, struggling immesnely to stand without it's sense of touch. Eos gave a sigh of relief - phew. Jogging over to the other senshi, she flashed a grateful smile, giving a nod, "Thank you. ...I'm Sailor Eos."
She glanced to the youma, frowning. "We need something to...beat it with?" she suggested, glancing around for a useful broom or...something.

"Sailor Flora." The blonde responded in return, watching the writhing youma with a mixture of fascination, curiosity and just a hint of disgust. "What did you do to it?" It was rather hard to tell, for her attack seemed to have a time lapse in between her announcing it and it taking effect. Sometimes, spheres were hard to tell. Take herself for example; she had been asked if her sphere was flowers before.
"Probably." She agreed, looking around for something to hit it with, while still lazily directing the cloud of pollen, which was growing thinner by the second at the youma. Flora wasn't as crude as to tear off a street sign, which, if she remembered correctly, Nerissa had done before. She glanced at a nearby sign and grimaced. "Or we could wait for the poison in the pollen to settle in." A kick was directed at the youma, denting one of the garbage cans it was made out of.

Flora - that made sense, considering that was what she'd called out in her attack. She should really think more logically sometimes. What did she do? "Took away its sense of touch," she explained, with a slightly embarrassed smile, "I'm the senshi of senses." Such a rubbish sphere compared to others, especially attacks-wise. Eos wished so much she could actually do some damage with her attacks, but alas no.
Locating a broom propped up against the railings, she quickly fetched it, grinning a little as she watched her fellow senshi aim a good kick at it. "Poison?" she asked, as she delivered her own whack from the broom, "Was that what that cloud was?" It made sense.

"Nice." Flora said with a nod towards Eos. Every senshi wished they could do damage with their attacks. Back when she first started, she had felt as though her attack was pretty useless and wondered why she couldn't have something like Nerissa's attack. It really all boiled down to working together and teaming up to make sure one's attacks would compliment another's, or have someone's defensive attack protect the others while fighting.
"Poisonous pollen." The blonde confirmed, with another kick at the youma. "I'm the Senshi of Spring." Somehow, the poison worked better on the Negaverse monsters than the agents themselves; it produced more of a distraction for the latter than actually killing them. Then again, killing was against their morals.

Poisonous pollen? Yeah, that made sense. The Senshi nodded as she slammed the large end of the broom into the youma again, before jumping back just as it lashed out at her. Seemed her attack was wearing off. "Careful," she advised, standing a safe distance away, "My attack's wearing off."
The youma seemed considerably weaker than previously, what with the numerous blows it had been dealt. However, it still seemed to pull itself up, giving a horrible, screeching hiss as it dashed for Sailor Eos this time. She swung her broom, smacking it straight on the face, sending it flying towards Flora by accident.
"Oh, watch out!"

Flora nodded grimly, watching the youma with a wary eye. She still wasn't armed yet. Sometimes it was terrible to improvise with weapons when fighting. Street signs were still a possibility, but she disliked having the people of Destiny City harbor the notion that they were terrorists. Vandalizing the City didn't really help.
At Eos' warning, Flora jerked backwards, landing on her back on the concrete, face staring right up at the looming youma. "Oh no you don't." She gritted her teeth, blasting it with another shout of "Flora Pollen Storm!", rolling away as it hit the area which she had just lay. Using her attack a second time, as usual, took a toll on her energy, and the blonde senshi scrambled up, panting. "I hope that means the end of it."

The youma gave a strangled cry at the close proximity of the attack, unable to escape as the pollen seeped in through its skin. With one last roar it exploded in a cloud of black dust.
Chewing her bottom lip, Eos rushed forwards to help Flora up, feeling extremely embarrassed at nearly having injured her teammate. "I'm so sorry!" she gasped, offering a hand to Flora and generally fussing around the senshi. "I didn't mean to! It just...I'm sorry!"
She glanced back, pleased to see the youma having disappeared in a cloud of dust, releasing a breath she didn't know she'd been holding. "I...thank you," she breathed, exhaustion suddenly hitting her limbs, "I don't know...what would have happened if you hadn't shown up."

When the youma exploded and sprayed her with dust, Flora was half elated that it had finally died, and half disgusted that she was covered with youma dust. Even if she had experienced it before, it was still icky, especially since this had been a garbage youma. Yuuucccck.
The senshi winced, but took Eos' hand as she got up, patting the girl on the back. "It's alright. You should have seen how huge my first youma was! I would have been toast if I hadn't had two other senshi with me when I was awakened." She hadn't even known that they were senshi; it was pure luck for Flora, really.

Eos smiled - it was nice, to be reminded that everyone had been new once. It just seemed a little like she was still 'new' to it all, even after a couple of weeks. She felt she should've progressed somewhat by now, gotten used to it a little more. The fact that she was attacking magical garbage creatures still seemed a little...woa.
"Are you okay?" she asked, noticing Flora's wince, wanting to make sure her saviour was alright before they ended up departing. "Or just covered in gross youma-dust?"

"I'm fine." Flora assured the other girl, dusting off her skirt with a wince. "Just the whole gross youma dust thing. I can never get used to that." Plus, imagining that the insides of the youma were probably sticking to her skin right now made her shudder every time. Even if henshining down would magically remove it, she would still take a shower when she got back to the dorm.
"So," She began, managing a smile for the new senshi, "have you found others to team up with yet?"
