Acubens felt good. Really good. Better than she had in a really, really long time. Keren knew who she was, loved her for it, and intended to fight beside her as a page. Alexij knew who she was, also loved her, and provided amazing support and the love she needed from him. She knew where she stood, at long ever loving last, int his war. She had a team with a common goal. She even had a gaurdian cat who was helping her in her quest to become the savior her family deserved. In her eyes, Acubens believed that she had the perfect life.
It put a spring in her step and a smile on her face.
It even made her sociable enough to approach the tingle of order she felt on her patrol around her neighborhood.
The evening had the sidewalks awash with golden light, causing the breeze to cool just slightly. It was also what set the blonde senshi's hair a light with white fire.
Why did Acubens feel so damn poetic that evening?
Her heels clicked on the cement as she walked towards her, grinning happily.
"Beautiful evening, isn't it," Acubens cooed softly once she was in range, trying to make herself small so as not to startle the other senshi.

The breeze was amazing, although it made Sailor Eos a little anxious about the floatiness of her skirt. Gloved hands kept patting the light material down, and despite her modesty remaining preserved in any case by the bodice her fuku had underneath, it was habit for any girl to do everything possible to avoid the Marilyn Monroe moment of your skirt flying up past your face.
It was because the blonde was so focussed on the location of her skirt that she didn't notice the power signal until the girl was suddenly beside her.
Eos jumped, though managed not to scream as her eyes widened slightly, fists automatically clenching as she prepared to throw them forwards should she be presented with a foe. However, her head caught up with the rest of her and assured her of the strongly order-aligned signature radiating from the senshi, and so she calmed her fists and returned them to her side, instead flashing a smile.
"Sorry, I wasn't concentrating," she explained, not wanting the other senshi to think she was some crazy lady. She needed to start concentrating more while out on patrol - that could well have been a chaos agent, and then she'd have been screwed. "It is indeed beautiful - you can tell summer's here." She smiled at the thought, looking forwards to long sunny afternoons in the park with an ice-cream. "I'm Sailor Eos, Senshi of Senses."

xo -- k a i r i Kyu will jump in later... for now it's just us two chatting. xD Acubens instantly felt bad about startling the other senshi, though she had meant not to. She held her hands up, palms outward, to signal that she was no threat. She only grinned at the other's apology, nodding that she understood. "Nah, I know that feel, bro. Some days it's enough to focus on one thing at a time. I'm Sailor Acubens, Super Sailor of Velociraptors." The word "super" still felt odd on her tongue. It hadn't been long that she had been upgraded to such a standard, and yet she felt no different. It's like when someone ages a year, and expects to feel like a while new person, and then they finally turn over, and nothing has changed. More often than not it confounded Acubens, making her a little antsy. "It's finally decent weather to patrol in," she answered, forcing the faint distress from her mind.

Velociraptors? Like, the dinosaur? Eos nodded, somewhat in awe - she hadn't realised that spheres could be so specific. Though then again, with more and more senshi awakening to join the war surely the spheres would have to adapt to the growing numbers. There must have been a lot of senshi in the past too. Super senshi too. Eos did a quick glance to the girl's backside, confirming a lack of wings. Clearly they were a privilege only earned with the superior status of eternal. There did seem more fancy bows and frills associated with earning your super status however, and she smiled as she briefly wondered what her fuku might upgrade to. That was if she ever made it - Eos wasn't sure she really saw herself as anything other than what she was now. She almost felt like she didn't deserve it, what with deserting the fight for two years. "Nice to meet you, Acubens." Eos smiled brightly, glad to be making more friends, "I actually quite enjoy patrolling in the rain - you don't get as hot and disgusting when you're kicking youma-a**." It was refreshing to have a cool shower and a breeze.

Acubens glanced at her own rear as Eos checked. Thought she knew what she ws looking for, Acubens having done the search herself many times, she still smiled slyly. "Like what you see?" She wiggled her rear lightly, tattered skirts dancing as she did so. "I'm only a super. I have a long way to go before I power up again, if I power up at all." Acubens shrugged, curtsying. "Ugh, I hate the rain. I hate being wet, really. And wet with clothing on is the worst. I feel even stickier when that happens." Acubens shuddered to make her point, giggling lightly as she did so.

Eos flashed a grin, raising her eyebrows before they lowered in slight disappointment. Aww man, she was never going to get buttwings. She pondered briefly whether you could actually use them to fly (she was probably just being stupid) before returning her attention to the Velociraptor senshi before her. "So there are three 'levels' then? Me, then you, then Eternal?" She'd never actually been told any of this, just left to her own devices to sort of work it out herself. "I don't mind the rain," Eos thought out loud, strolling merrily along beside her new friend (was that a bit premature of her, calling them friends?). "I don't like the cold, though. I'd always rather be too warm than too cold." You could always take extra layers of clothing off, but putting more on was hard if you didn't have them. Always be prepared, that was how you did it!

Acubens nodded, adding “sailor, super, and eternal. If we are very good at our jobs, there is even a royal level. I’ve only ever met one once, and I don’t know the details, but… from what I can tell, it’s a big deal.” And then they were talking about the weather again. It seemed to be something she was doing more and more. And to think, she used to think that the adults who did the same were stupid. It really was a handy ice breaker. “Yeah… that’s true. But, you know, I’d rather just be comfortable.” She grinned brightly, tilting her head with the force of it all. Why was she in such a good mood? It could have also been her company… something inside of her hummed with Eos, comfortable talking to her. And it felt good to feel comfortable after such prolonged discomfort. This, of course, increased the happy warmth in her stomach, widening her smile. She even giggled. Just a little. “Do you often patrol alone, or am I just lucky enough to have you on my turf for one night?”
