"s**t!" Eos dived head-first to her left to avoid the charging youma, managing to mould the improvised maneouver into a forward roll. In doing so she allowed herself to swing straight back up onto her feet again and take another few steps away, quickly pivoting around again so she was facing the monster. She was slowly sinking back into the patrol schedule, but this was the first big challenge she'd come up against. Whilst patrolling the west wide of the city she'd found the youma stalking a young girl and been quick to engage it, although now she was regretting the choice to do so without calling for back-up first. It was a large youma, somewhat resembling an overgrown stag. It had four muscular legs and a long spiked tail, but her major concern was keeping away from it's head. Two long horns extended from just behind where she imagined its ears would be, ending in quite dangerous looking points that she didn't want to be on the wrong end of. Unfortunately, with the spiked tail there wasn't a right end to be. Luckily, as of about 30 seconds ago the youma had no sense of hearing. Unluckily, it seemed to have compensated for this and was resuming its mad charge as if nothing had happened. Pawing at the ground with one foot, it gave a mad screech before it began to pick up speed again, lowering it's head and aiming straight for the blonde senshi. Ready for it this time, Eos waited until the last moment before she jumped to one side to avoid the horns, quickly following up with a powerful kick to the youma's side. It gave a cry of pain, and for a moment a flicker of joy crossed her mind. That was until its tail came up and smacked into her chest, sending her flying a good 10 feet and leaving her winded and bruised.

The screech was the first indication of trouble. In a frenzy, Kallichore took to the rooftops and followed the pulsing black signal that was distinctly youma. She could feel a signal that was distinctly senshi, and perhaps they needed help? She'd rather arrive on the scene in time to lend a hand than assume they had everything covered and risk a life. Belts and sleeves flapped in the wind as the senshi of madness made a beeline towards the sounds of battle. She dropped to street level in time to see another senshi go flying down the street. She looked injured!
Placing herself between the senshi and the youma, Kallichore made to stand her ground. "Are you alright?"she asked, offering a hand while keeping an eye on the youma. It was large, angry, and had two dangerous ends to keep track of. If push came to shove, Kallichore would have been more than happy to show the youma the error of its ways.
Stag, which meant horns and charging... that's what it looked like it was doing... She looked over the senshi and tried to help her to her feet. "Are you injured? Would you allow me to help?" One thing Kallichore learned was that some senshi preferred to work alone, and the last thing she wanted to do was alienate herself from someone she didn't know. She was trying to work on the whole 'friendly and approachable' thing.

Her head was spinning and she felt something wet on her arm. Glancing over to it, she spotted red, and groaned. How the hell was she going to explain that to Leon? A crazy tail was bad enough, but who's stupid idea had it been to give it spikes too? Hearing a voice, Eos looked back in the direction of the youma, only found herself unable to see it due to someone standing in the way. Suddenly aware of the power signal, she spotted the buttwings (she'd been seeing a lot of them lately) and gave an inward sigh of relief. At least someone knew what they were doing. "I think so," she responded, forcing herself back onto her feet despite the roaring ache that signalled her legs' disapproval. Her arm hadn't been the only casualty - only upon standing did she notice that another spike had smacked into her stomach. This was just going swimmingly. "Please do...I'm still getting used to this again." Did the eternal really think she'd refuse help? Sure, if Eos had a deathwish maybe, but she liked herself very much alive and kicking. The youma, meanwhile, had been preparing for another charge, and now with two targets in the same general direction intiated another attack with those razor-sharp horns.

Blood. Things were getting serious.
She heard the snort of the youma before she turned to face it proper. She saw the beast lean down and strike the ground with its hooves - a terrible sign. Kallichore didn't want to disappoint another senshi, let alone someone with injuries. "Stay behind me, and if you need to, please get yourself to safety. Don't worry about me." The senshi of madness' voice was gruff and serious, eyes fixated on the youma as it no doubt was ready to close the distance between them. She never tired of battles, but it wasn't often she came upon someone that would need to be taken to the hospital afterwards.
Lifting her hands, Kallichore prepared her attack. Getting used to this... again? The senshi blinked for a moment. Hiatus, maybe? She couldn't blame anyone for taking a break - she'd done it herself, but Kallichore had to commend the other senshi for getting back into the swing of things. When the youma started its charge, Kallichore let loose her attack. Hopefully the youma wouldn't see the distortion in the air and run right into it. "Glorious Crimson Mania!"

Usually Eos wouldn't be one to take things lying down. She'd insist on helping wherever she could and, if possible, carrying the brunt of the responsibility. But this was one case where she was more than happen to do as she was told and take the back seat. Just this once. Inspecting the damage that had been done, she found that it wasn't as bad as it looked. Whilst the horns were lethal, the tail spikes seemed to be more designed to pack a punch, and as such it was just a surface wound. The blood made it look worse than it was, and she got the feeling that there'd be some nasty bruising in the morning, but nothing requiring anything more than a couple of plasters and some rest. Her fellow senshi let loose her attack, and Eos watched as what seemed like heat waves shot out towards the youma. From there everything happened pretty quickly - it suddenly started bucking and going wild, no longer intent on attacking the two girls. Instead it seemed to be...well, Eos wasn't sure. But whatever it was had to be a good thing, as it was giving them the opportunity to strike. "Careful of the tail," she warned, hoping she didn't sound too obvious or pathetic. In all fairness, the tail was like a whip slicing through the air, and she'd now experienced first hand how it winded you.

Being that the thing had no arms, Kallichore couldn't have expected anything better from her best attack. Usually if a youma was more humanoid, it would do a lot of the work for her. Not in this case. Taking a breath, she gingerly stepped away from her fellow senshi and began a wide circle around the bucking beast. She held her arms out in case she needed to unleash another attack, but it seemed like the sooner they killed the thing, the better. The last thing Kallichore wanted was for the other senshi to be injured further.
The closer Kallichore got, the harder the thing seemed to buck and thrash. Truth be told, the horns and the tailed scared the hell out of her, but she'd been through worse, right? Being kicked down a freeway on-ramp and getting road rash was pretty damned bad in the grand scheme of things, and someone else needed her! Pride be damned, let's do this! Darting in when she saw what looked like an opening, the senshi of madness made to try and kick the beast's neck as hard as she could. Being eternal had its perks, but some youma were too damned durable as far as she was concerned.
I can't ask for help, the poor girl's injured enough already! The tail came too fast for her and clipped her straight across the back. Dammit!

Eos shuffled forwards as Kallichore moved, not wanting to just hang back and let her fellow senshi get harmed. She was fine, really - the adrenaline pumping through her system overrode any aches or pains she was feeling, and the injury on her arm didn't look that back anyway. The youma seemed completely and utterly crazy, and whatever the dark-haired girls attack had done had only made it worse. She seemed to have distracted it somehow, perhaps with hallucinations? It was likely to have its hearing back by now, and the time delay in her attack wasn't that long, so it was unlikely to have been anything that Eos had done. Seeing an opening, the other senshi dived in and delivered a powerful kick to the youma's neck, causing it to screech in pain. Eos was about to cheer and do a fistpump, but then it's tail came lashing across and smacked into her saviour's back. Well, she'd been saying she didn't want to just take a back seat. "Oi!" She was aware that it probably couldn't understand her (and even if it did it wouldn't care), but shouted anyway in order to draw its attention away from Kallichore. In perhaps a somewhat daring move, she took the opportunity of its head being raised and dashed forwards, launching the fist from her good arm straight into its eye. The head was up, having been checking what the shout was, and so those horns were out of the way. For now.

With a shout that sounded more like a growl, Kallichore grabbed at the stag youma's jaw and twisted, trying to break its neck. The hide was super durable and the best she could hope for, magic wise, was a distraction. It seems pliable enough that the two women could work together, twist, and kill it. Kallichore motioned with her head to her fellow senshi while trying to maintain a grip on the youma. "Here! Can you help... pull this thing?"
This is when Kallichore would have died for a direct attack. Was that so much to ask?
The youma didn't seem to know what was going on, though the eternal's attack was starting to wear off. She could feel it. The stag started to stamp its feet in a rage and back up and the senshi of madness dug her fingers in deeper to try and hang on. Thankfully the tail wasn't going anywhere... for now.

Her new friend (or at least, she hoped she was a friend) dived and grabbed the horns, and Eos let loose a breath she hadn't realised she'd been holding. At least now, with any luck, they might stay out of the way and make everything a little bit safer. Hearing a shout, Eos turned and looked, eyebrows furrowing as she struggled a little to hear over the furious screams of the youma. She eventually got the message, however, and in one quick move she twisted herself out of the vulnerable neck region, vaulted over the stag's body's and grabbed a horn as she landed, using the momentum of gravity to try and give her that extra strength. It worked. With a loud snapping sound the youma's head jolted downwards and it's eyes grew wide for a moment before it's body crumpled down onto the floor. Breathing heavily, Eos glanced to her arm again, winching at the amount of blood. She then looked up to her saviour, managing a weak smile. "Thank you."

The youma's body gave one last wheeze before death (or whatever force governed these damned things) took it. The carcass soon began to disintegrate into the dust it was famous for, never having left a trace. The police would never suspect monsters - they never left any evidence behind save for claw marks in buildings or other property, but that was always blamed on the terrorists. Kallichore gave a heavy sigh and nodded in absolution, turned to her ally. "I think we should both thank ourselves. It was certainly a team effort..." Pulling some loose strands of hair from her face, Kallichore looked the girl over. So when did other senshi get such pretty fukus? And what happened to that sign-up page? The eternal gave her ally a friendly nod. Time for introductions. "I'm Sailor Kallichore, Senshi of Madness. And... do you need a bandage? I'd be happy to provide." She lifted one long sleeve - she had more than enough material to spare and really, nobody would notice. She looked like she went through the grinder every time she henshin'd up anyway.

A team effort it was, but none-the-less it was clear to Eos that had Kallichore not been nearby and kind enough to give her a hand, she'd have been youma-chow by now. She had to start being more careful. "Sailor Eos, Senshi of Senses." She responded in kind with her own introduction, offering a grateful smile as she did so. Kallichore lifted an arm as she offered a bandage, but Eos shook her head and held up a palm, smiling a little more sheepishly. "Oh no no no, I'm fine. It's just a scratch - the blood makes it look worse than it is." She swiped a palm over the blood, smearing it out of the way to reveal the scratch underneath - it was a somewhat large wound, but clearly only superficial. Either way, it was going to be a pain to hide from Leon. "Thank you, though." Now having the time to spare, Eos looked over her saviour a little more carefully. Her fuku was complicated, seeming to have numerous attachments and holes and dangly bits, but it suited her well. And then of course, there were the buttwings. "You're eternal then?"

The eternal gave Eos a gentle nod and a small smile. It was good to actually get out and meet new people instead of creeping up on youma and relishing how they destroy themselves. There was something not right about that and Kallichore usually attempted to hide it when she knew others were watching.
No harm in liking what you do, right?
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sailor Eos." Brown eyes washed with concern watched the wound as Eos revealed it. Kallichore could understand not wanting to receive help for something so superficial, but still. It looked like it hurt. She shook her head. "I don't believe I've seen you around before. Are you new? When did you awaken if you don't mind me asking?" She found herself with a new goal of protecting those who were new or needed some assistance. It was healthier, certainly, than engaging in behavior that was decidedly Blood Moon more than anything else.
At Eos' comment, she turned to glance at the rather annoying wings she had adorning her backside. "Ah, yes. We all get these... wings in the back. One would think they'd get in the way more often than they do. I certainly can't complain though. It has its perks." A super powerful attack being Kallichore's favorite. The huge, gaping hole in the front of her fuku? Least favorite.

"Likewise." It was nice meeting new senshi - if she was back in this for the long haul (which was beginning to seem more and more likely) then she needed friends more than anything. Alliances. Eos was more independent now, and a little more savvy, but she wasn't foolish enough to think she could go it alone. Whilst she could understand Kallichore thinking she might be new, Eos offered an somewhat embarrassed smile, "Uhm...well, no. Not really." It was an odd situation, that was for sure. "I awakened...I think it was about two years, two and a half years ago now? A few months after that I took a break, and I only started getting back into it all a couple of weeks ago." If there was a prize for the most confusing or just plain rubbish explanation on the planet, Eos was fairly sure she'd just won it. She didn't really want to go into detail, but she still felt that the use of the term 'break' was simplifying it just a little too much. "I know a couple of other eternals," she continued, eager to move the conversation away from her hiatus incase questions were asked about the cause of it, "I quite like the buttwings. They're cute." Lucifer Force i'm sorry i've taken so long, exams suck :C
