Wars weren’t as glorious as they were portrayed. They really weren’t. Millicent Lafeu was sitting in her favorite park, on her favorite swing, hugging her Ewok plush close. She was dressed for emotional comfort tonight, wearing her Jedi robes, and carrying two lightsabers. If she was going to get attacked, she would be attacking right back with her own Millie brand of Jar’Kai. She wouldn’t be taken unawares…plus, her henshin pen was safely in her jeans pocket too, so she was fully protected.

Things had been strange since that big battle…even her mom seemed different…though, maybe that was just Millie looking at things differently…but…

There had just been…so much…so much blood! In the second Star Wars movie, there was the big battle, and lots of the Jedi’s died…but…but there wasn’t lots of blood everywhere…there wasn’t…there wasn’t that many screams…or had there been? She sighed, and wondered if she should go and watch that movie again just to make sure.

One thing was for sure though…Millie didn’t like blood. And she really didn’t like when a random negaverse person cut into a senshi and the blood got all over everything. She didn’t want to be in…be in anything like that…that was scary…and…why didn’t the good guys win? Good guys are always supposed to win. Always! That’s just how life worked!

Eos wasn't sure what to do, what to think, what to...anything. She felt like a failure, and just wanted to make herself feel better by dusting any youma who crossed her path. This was the first night she'd actively gone out looking for a fight, looking for something to end up on the wrong end of her fist. She needed to hit something, she needed something to take her bottled up emotions out on and right now a youma seemed the easiest and most convenient option.

But typically, now she wanted one, she couldn't find one.

It was funny, how that worked. Leon had been furious, seeing his little sister come home with a horrible black eye and a very garbled and gap-ridden explanation. He'd demanded to know who was responsible, who he should report to the police, but after many hours of ranting and raving she'd finally managed to convince him that it was her own stupid fault and all she wanted was a hug. Luckily for her, Leon gave the best hugs. Unfortunately, she'd had to grin and bear the uncomfortable pressure on her ribs, because if he'd have seen the bruises there she'd have been marched down to the police station and forced to reveal the perpetrator.

Kicking the unlucky trashcan that happened to be in the path, she let out a loud growl of frustration, not caring about the loud crashing sounds the metal can made as it bounced and rolled down the street. She looked up and was surprised to find herself by the park - she hadn't been paying attention to where she was going. She was more surprised to see a lone little girl on the swings, however, tightly clutching a soft toy. Cursing herself for probably scaring the life out of the young red-head with the horrible metallic smashing of the metal bin, Eos carefully made her way over, wanting to seem as un-intimidating as possible.

"Hey, sweetie?" She called, forcing her mouth into a smile, "Are you alright? You shouldn't be out this late, it isn't safe."

The sound of the trashcans had caused the girl to jump up, grabbing both of her lightsabers and letting the plastic blades extend to their full length. The Ewok plush fell to the ground and Millicent looked around, sure that the sound must have been from a youma, or something.

Though, when she heard the voice, she very much feared that it was from a bad guy instead. Her brown eyes were narrowed and she glared at the spot where the voice had come from, though relaxed slightly when she saw the outfit. Why…it looked like it was a senshi…

“Oh. Okay. You’re not a bad guy after all.” She withdrew the blade of one of her plastic sabers and put it back on her belt. Millie sat back down on the swing and sighed. “Well, your fuku isn’t totally senshi like, but I think that’s what you are, am I right?”

She looked so funny, she really did. A girl in Jedi robes, sitting on a park swing, blue lightsaber in one hand, looking up at Eos with a very calculating expression.

...Oh.

Well, that was a surprise.

Suddenly a lot more wary, Eos narrowed her eyes slightly, slowing her pace to stop a few feet from the swings the girl sat at. She knew about all of this? How could she possibly know? They did so much to keep it secret, although to be honest with so many of them running about it made sense that the cat would get let out of the bag sooner or later...

Eos' mind flashed briefly to the Chibi Senshi of Adventure she'd met before, and she chewed the inside of her cheek. Could this be another child who'd been dragged into the fight?

"...I am," she finally answered, somewhat warily, "I'm Sailor Eos, Senshi of Senses. What's your name?" Whatever fears she had, this was still a child. A child, alone, at god knows what time with god knows what lurking around in the darkness. She shouldn't be there, senshi or not.

“My name’s Millicent.” The child leaned down, picking up the fallen Ewok and brushing it off, giving it a loving glance. She looked back up at Eos, rather appraising. “Are you new at being a senshi? You don’t have a big bow…or butt wings…so you must be. Were you at that battle the other night? If you were, at least you didn’t die. That was good.”

She sighed. “I don’t know if wars are really as awesome as Star Wars makes them out to be. I really don’t think they are. But…but people don’t really bleed in Star Wars…” Millie continued to watch the senshi and scowled. “I wonder if that’s because the lightsabers make the wounds seal up with the burns or something. I think the word starts with a c…cauter…whatever. They’re lasers. They seal up the wounds so there’s no blood. I guess it’s simple.”

The child sighed and shook her head. “But that doesn’t happen when it’s not lasers making the wounds…no, real wounds bleed. A lot…And when the blood hits you, it’s a lot hotter than I thought it would be…”

She stood up and put the ewok and her sabers carefully on the swing, before pulling her henshin pen out. “Lenka Eternal Power…Make up!” After a few moments, her transformation was complete and she stood there, Chibi Eternal Sailor Lenka, butt wings and all. “Guess my name’s also Lenka, senshi of watermelons. Nice to meet you, Eos.”

Millicent? An odd name, but a pretty one none-the-less. Despite her sour mood Eos attempted to widen her smile, a little more sincerity shining through as she watched the child fetch the toy she'd dropped. She seemed to know a fair amount...surely she wouldn't know that unless she was one herself? "I'm not new exactly," Eos confessed, not really sure how to explain herself. The mention of the battle quickly caused her smile to fade however, to an expression of sadness and sorrow. "Yeah...I was there."

She started to talk, about wars and Star Wars and blood. Eos felt salty tears p***k her eyes - this was only a child. Why should she have to worry about such things? She should be far more interested in the new episode of Pokemon or the purple colouring crayon that she'd lost that morning. "I...I don't know." She didn't know what Millicent wanted her to say. She didn't know how to make it better, and it killed her just a little bit. Eos wished she could erase this child's memory, but she couldn't, and the knowledge hurt.

It was no surprise when she henshined up - although the fact that she was an eternal chibi was impressive - and Eos took the last few steps forwards, wrapping her arms around the vulnerable, confused girl in an attempt at comfort. "It'll be alright Lenka. We'll fight back, I promise." Eos kept her promises, and this was no different. They'd regroup, they'd grow stronger, and they'd strike back. Just like the Empire had.
