Apatite had been really kind to Eos - she'd been the one to originally suggest capoeira, and she was the reason for Eos' current trip to the Negaspace. The General-Queen had wished to check on one of the newer recruits, and the two had enjoyed a pleasant enough conversation during which the corrupted senshi had even had the opportunity to demonstrate how far she'd come with her martial art training. Apatite had seemed impressed, but had pressed for her to continue and Eos had whole-heartedly agreed. She wanted to get stronger, she needed to get stronger if she wanted to help them win this war. She had yet to face an Order agent in combat, at least alone. There had been that horrid senshi who'd been attacking Natron - she needed to catch up with him actually, check how he was doing - but apart from that she hadn't really had any battle experience in the past few months. She hoped to change that soon. The blonde wanted to get out into the field, she wanted to get down and dirty and into the real nitty gritty. It wasn't all about brawling, she knew that, but she was much more confident than she had been to begin with and felt...ready. Ready to go mess with their heads, ready to go and show them just how wrong they were. Words were more powerful than fists, and she'd try her damned hardest to show them the light before resorting to violence. But from all she'd been told and all that she'd been able to witness, they were horrid, vile creatures who punched first and asked questions later. Sailor Eos was certain that she'd be acting in self-defence more than anything. Strolling down one of the many corridors that occupied the Negaspace, she didn't feel quite ready to return to Destiny City yet. She probably should, she had a lecture...yet the silence of the darkness was sobering, and she enjoyed the opportunity to mingle within her own thoughts.

The sounds of metal on stone probably found Eos long before a Chaos signature that only slightly outranked her. Bazzite was unusually quiet, practicing his throwing in his own little spot in the Rift. He'd taken to going down as often as he could for training, desperate and high on the idea of impressing his General and possibly becoming a useful asset to the Negaverse. Part of him was really feeling the sting of being a sort of laughing stock and the boy was out to prove himself with all the testosterone and boyish abandon that came with it. For now the little ninja was focused on a spot on the wall he'd carved out as a target. Swiftly were stars thrown only to be picked up again. Bazzite only allowed himself ten for this exercise. Once his ten had been used up, the boy trotted to the wall to pry out the ones that stuck and scoop up the ones that didn't. He then found the place on the floor where he'd been standing before and took a few steps away from it, marking a new place with his shoe. The ground was littered with these markings, all starting about ten paces away from the scars on the wall and moving backward. xo -- k a i r i I am so sorry about the wait! The holidays ate my soul. ;;

It wasn't a pleasant sound - not quite as bad as fingernails on a chalkboard but the sound of the metal on the stone still made the blonde cringe every time it rang through the otherwise stony silence of the Negaspace. She should really be getting back, lectures on greek tragedies were a massive pain to catch up on... They said curiousity killed the cat, but then as she wasn't a cat she should be safe. That was all the convincing Sailor Eos needed as she set off in the direction of the ringing, cringing every few steps. What even was that noise? It was strange, there would be a few of them in fairly quick succession followed by a period of silence, and then it would start all over again. Her curiousity was piqued now, and the presence of a Chaos signature as she moved closer only piqued it more and more. Eventually she turned the corner, and found herself faced with...a ninja? Well no, obviously it was Captain but not one she recognised. The blonde stood still for a few moments, watching as he attempted to hit a target. She didn't want to distract him, and so waited until he walked forwards to fetch his metal star things (she knew they had a name but couldn't for the life of her remember it) before she spoke up. "That looks difficult." Lucifer Force no worries - happy new year! :> also, eos is only a regular sailor senshi atm, she hasn't gone super yet!

Bazzite really needed to work on multitasking but at least he didn't wet himself when a corrupted senshi made her rather sudden appearance. (Sudden insofar as the captain wasn't paying much attention to anything other than his current task, but never mind that.) He was startled but not to the point where he would have flung shuriken every which way and lopped a good three inches from Eos' hair. So it was an improvement. Stuffing the extra shuriken into his pockets, Bazzite fixed his hair and gave her a smile. "Oh uh... it's just trainin' for accuracy, that's all. I'm Cap'n Bazzite but you can call me Bazzi!" he explained with a grin. "I don't think I've met you before. What's your name? Are you new around here?" Bazzi did try to make it a point to meet everyone he could but he was only human (and had other responsibilities). Still, meeting new people was always fun and senshi on the side of good were extremely pleasant to boot. Every one of them he'd met had been awesome. Hopefully the little ninja's luck would hold out for the blonde! xo -- k a i r i And a very happy new year to you too! I edited the top so.. yeah. Sorry about that. >_>

Oh, had she made him jump? Her cheeks flushed pink at the realisation and she began to stammer out an apology but didn't manage to quite get one out before she started speaking. His accent surprised her somewhat, thought she wasn't sure why, and she was also surprised at his friendliness given that he was a superior officer. Were all Captain's friendly? Maybe that meant General's were even friendlier? Somehow she doubted it. "I'm Sailor Eos," she offered in return with a shy smile, taking another step forwards she she wasn't hiding behind the corner of the wall. She wanted to make a good impression after all. "It's nice to meet you Bazzi." It was an odd situation, and using such informal greetings unsettled her a little. She didn't want to upset him by ignoring the kind gesture of using a nickname, but at the same time she didn't want to insult anyone. Since it was just the two of them for now, hopefully it shouldn't matter too much. "I haven't been allowed out much - I was corrupted at the ambush in the summer?" She really did need to start meeting more officers, building new contacts and bridges. Labyrinthite had helped her at the start, but she needed to start standing on her own two feet now. Lucifer Force sorry for the ridiculous delay :<

Bazzite blinked and tilted his head. "Well it's real nice to meet you too, Eos." he said with a smile. The ambush made him shudder. "Yeah, I remember that. I was there with Beni, tryin' real hard not to die an' all that." The boy frowned. He didn't much care for full-scale attacks, he decided, even if the end result was a victory. He was only a lieutenant then and couldn't do much except get in the way and give a few people paper cuts. Needless to say his contribution to the overall victory was minimal at best. "But it's real nice to have somebody else on our side. I don't get to talk to a lot of Nega senshi but everybody I've met is real nice. I hear they hafta have a Captain or a General or somethin'... so who's yours?" The boy with snow-blue hair smiled at her. Really, one may have questioned whether he was a captain at all by the way he acted and treated others. Bazzi was never one to let rank get in the way of friendships.
