Azzo had been walking a while, despite the prettyness of the place and the creepy really unfortunate the forest turns black every time you blink and the animals either look rotting or like youma or some messed up, mutated, crazy thing it wasn't all that bad.
Azzo sighed, leaning on a nearby tree. The rabbit had been silent... for a good while. The silence was deafening to the dog eared boy. Azzo rubbed his face, before reaching up to poke the rabbit, but it wasn't there. He paused feeling the top of his head to be sure... but it'd just been there a while ago.
He was still heading sort of in the direction of the River, unsure of where he was going, but he'd trailed off to see if he could find anyone else. Things were starting to get lonely, it also didn't occur to him that he might be walking in circles and that he'd passed that tree what would've seemed like an hour ago.

Sailor Eos just couldn't shake the feeling that something, or someone, was following her.
The backward glances over her shoulder were becoming more and more frequent, and she began to quicken her pace. The...things in the corners of her eyes were beginning to take shapes, the shapes of youma she'd fought, and she could've sworn she even saw a familiar flash of dirty blonde hair. Whether it was her mind or the forest around her, Sailor Eos wasn't sure, but she assumed that if she kept walking she'd find her way out of the forest, and she'd be able to work from there.
And then, footsteps.
She froze to the spot, eyes wide as she looked in the direction of the noise. The footsteps sounded distinctly human...but what exactly did human footsteps sound like anyway? The crunching of leaves certainly sounded like it was from shoes, but she couldn't be sure, so approached with caution.
Then, she saw him - through the gap between two trees, a dark-haired boy that looked strangely familiar. Was that...the boy from the library? Ohhh, what was his name!? Sailor Eos grappled with her own mind for a moment, before suddenly remembering she wasn't Selena at the moment. She was Sailor Eos. Sighing in an irritated fashion, she made as if to henshin down.
But it didn't work.
She couldn't henshin down.
She tried again, and again, and once more after that, but it just wouldn't work. She was stuck like this. Glancing up, a little paniced by the prospect, she realized the boy had disappeared off further down the path. And so the Senshi broke off into a sprint after him, figuring that they would be safer in a pair. "Hey! Wait up!"

Azzo paused when he heard the voice, half expecting it to be that damned psycho rabbit again. His eyes had narrowed slightly as he looked for the source, as if he was ready to kick it.
That was until a sailor scout showed up. He paused, eyes lightening. "OH, well..." he paused looking at her head canted sideways, "You are real right?"
Stupid question? Probably, but by this point and time he wasn't really sure if there was such a thing as real he'd been watching the shadows in the corners of his eyes move. Wondering if he should find a nice broken off limb to use for defense if things where to come out of the shadows.
He looked around, "I'd been hoping to find other people. This place is a bit creepy. Despite it's happy looks..." He blinked and visibly drew back a little wrinkling his nose. "Scratch that, semi-happy looks." He corrected.

Was she real? Eos glanced over her hands and down to her feet, wriggling her toes inside her shoes before looking back up to the boy with a small smile, "...I think so? I mean, yeah, I am."
Now wasn't really the time for jokes, was it? She nodded in agreement as he started talking about finding other people, taking a few steps forwards to cover the distance between them. She fiddled with her own fingers a little, smiling shyly at the boy. She recognized him, she knew she did. That boy from the library, who'd showed her the pop-up book. "I'm Sailor Eos," she introduced herself, not sure whether the title would mean anything to the boy. Either way, she didn't want to go into the technicalities, so hoped he understood or just accepted it.

Azzo would've reached out to touch her but that wouldn't help if the rabbit was the same way. "Mmm figured you were a senshi, at least you're not a negaverser." He said and then seemed to pause, thinking, and finally he offered, "I'm Azzo."
He looked around, listening the music was still there and the babbling brook. That damned rabbit was wrong, he hadn't found a stream. Though his eyes kept looking around searching for something. Not realizing that he'd probably just ended up walking in circles.
He looked around the music, he noticed something shimmer after a moment, "Did you see that?" He asked head following the path of sparkles, was that a pixie? He wrinkled his nose, he'd thought he'd seen one earlier. Before he could suggest following it, it disappeared.
"I think we should... try to find a way out." He stated with a pause, not really wanting to give the option of heading towards the water at this point but doing so anyways, "Do you think we should head for the water for the music? Or should we make sure no one else stuck here? Or hurt..."

The sound of the babbling brook was musical. It spoke in splashing voices, and as Azzo's eyes followed the brief shimmer that had disappeared again both Eos and Azzo were drawn to look at a big beech tree that made its home next to the water. It was a pretty thing with big leafy branches, and the grass just underneath it was richer and greener and softer-looking than the grass surrounding. Arrayed out in front of the tree was a fairy ring of purple-speckled toadstools, and in between the fork of the tree roots were... two big, fat pillows?

Wait, he knew she was a senshi? How did he know that? ...Maybe he was a Negaverser, only in a more normal costume. Or perhaps even in disguise. But the way he talked - at least she wasn't a Negaverser? No, he certainly didn't same like one. None-the-less, Sailor Eos remained cautious.
Azzo! That was it! Aha, she'd have to try and remember that for next time she ran into him as Selena. She frowned when he suddenly spoke up - had she seen what? Confused, she followed his gaze, and after several moment noticed a strange shimmer. "Yeah..." she mumbled softly, not sure whether it was her head making it up or whether she was actually seeing something. Either way, it soon faded, and she turned her attention back to Azzo. Finding a way out certailny seemed like a good idea, and she nodded to show this. He asked her opinion, and she opened her mouth to reply...
But her eyes had kept following the shimmering, and she was now watching a huge tree, right next to the water. It was large, but pretty, seeming to give everything in it's shadow extra life. The branches were more full of leaves, the grass was greener, the toadstools were in a happy little circle and...were those pillows? "I...is that a pillow?" she asked, not believing her own eyes as she pointed towards them, glancing over to Azzo with a rather unflattering open, 'o'-shaped mouth. "Between the tree roots."

Azzo was curiously watching her, he shurgged as he glanced back at where the shimmer had gone. Only to blink, "Uh..." When the blackness had gone he shook his head for good measure. He certainly had seen the pillows without having to be directed to them, but looked back at her and then the pillows.
He frowned, "Why are there pillows out in a forest?" He asked looking skeptically, before glancing around pondering. He was curious, after the talking rabbit from earlier had claimed it was his hallucinations he wasn't very sure he wanted to trust his eyes on this. Inching closer towards the toadstools thinking about poking them with his shoe.
"Poke it with a stick!" Said a voice that made him jump. The rabbit was sitting there holding a small stick, it was grinning mischievously.
Azzo's eyes narrowed towards the Rabbit, "I most certainly will not." He stated towards the rabbit shaking his head, before looking back towards Eos she was probably wondering who the hell he was talking to by now. "What do you think we should do?" He said looking at the tree before glancing off in the direction that he thought the brook was.
He looked a bit perplexed. "I'm not sure I actually want to see what happens if we touch this stuff." He crouched down looking at the mushrooms without touching them, for now. "Stick might be safer, depending on what kind they are." He wasn't sure to be honest if they were piousness or not. He glanced around for the rabbit again, only to find no sight of it, he frowned.

Why were there pillows in a forest? It was a very good question, but why was he expecting her to know the answer? Eos sighed, taking a few steps towards the tree, stopping just short of the circle of toadstools. The pillows certainly looked real - as if she could just reach out and grab one.
She turned around as Azzo started talking, frowning as he seemed to be...staring at the ground. Talking to it. ...Was he crazy or something? "Who are you talking to?" she asked, tilting her head to the left curiously. He looked back to her, seeming to have...overcome his slight moment of crazy, but the dark-haired Senshi was still a little suspicious, chewing her bottom lip as she shrugged. "I dunno. Grab it? What harm can a pillow do?"
Pillows were comfy and soft. Surely it couldn't exactly harm them in any way. Wrinkling her nose a little, she glanced over the toadstools and pillows again, before looking back to Azzo. He suggested a stick, and the girl searched her immediate vicinity, but turned up nothing. "What are you on about, the toadstools?" It was a stupid question really, he wouldn't be talking about the pillows. Rolling her eyes, Sailor Eos brushing a strand of hair back over her shoulder, smiling to the boy. "Then we just avoid them like this."
She took a step forwards, stepping over the toadstools and into the centre of the fairy ring, taking care not to brush any of the fungi. She then reached over, making to grab the pillows.

The moment she touched the pillows, the urge to put her head down on one was overwhelming. Eos was so tired. This place was such a riddle and she was exhausted and the pillow looked so comfortable, white and fluffy and pristine, the branches overhead murmuring in soft comforting voices. The grass looked as though it would be lovely to lie on.
She was so tired. Her eyes were already wanting to close, limbs heavy, the pillow smelling like sleep and laundry softener and her shampoo just like the pillow she slept on herself.

Azzo watched her curiously as she grabbed the pillow, he didn't have a very good feeling about, then again whenever you blink the forest turning to hell in a hand basket didn't help.
He almost visibly twitched when her eyes drooped. "Come on, lets forget the pillows, lets find a way out." He said standing up looking at the pillow. "Besides things that sparkle are trouble in fairy tales less they're tinker bell." He grabbed her arm that was free of the pillow softly, hoping that any effects wouldn't travel though people, whatever this was, Azzo didn't like it.
He couldn't just leave her here in the woods, he didn't know what wold things there happened to be here. "Please..." He said almost desperate in a whimper. He wasn't sure he could carry her, or how far he could, if she did fall asleep and he couldn't wake her up... What would he do?

Her fingers fastened around one of the pillows, and instantly she was tired. So, so, so tired. She blinked a few times, mildly confused by it all, but the confusion was easily overridden by how exhausted she suddenly felt. And the pillow looked so lovely and soft! Surely a little nap couldn't hurt.
She made as if to lay down on the ground, but a tug on her free arm stopped her, the senshi turned to sleepily gaze up and Azzo with a heavily confused frown. "Let goooo," she whined, trying to shake him free of her arm, the girl's childish side breaking out, "I wanna go to sleep!"
And then, in an attempt to knock him off of her arm, the sleepy girl swng the pillow she was holding at Azzo.

Just on touching her, Azzo suddenly also felt exhausted -- the jealousy that she was touching one pillow overcame him, and the need to have the other pillow was overwhelming. Each second that Eos remained awake became more and more difficult. The pillow looked so inviting.

Azzo squeaked as he ducked pillow, letting go of her and backing up. His eyes fell on the other pillow and he was now looking at her in disdain. "Why you little..." He started something else in his mind clicked.
His face twitched he wanted that pillow but he wanted to get out of here. What was he going to do, he was so tired, he should've never touched her, now he wanted the pillow too. Eyes green with envy, he was trying to fight it though. "We can't stay here." He said fighting a yawn, struggling for now against the urge to grab the pillow.
"W-we have to find a way out. We have to get back home." He stood up and looked at the pillow and her, another urge of jealousy bubbling up. He could steal the pillow away, but when what's to say he didn't want to keep it himself. He got up pacing, trying to wake himself up. If they could get to the river...
He looked at her, ohh what a stupid idea.... He lurched and grabbed for the pillow aiming to throw it away from them when he managed and tackle her to the ground. He never fought, he never fought a girl for that matter, that he could remember anyways.
He also aimed to pin her down, keep her away from the pillows. "Mine! My pillows you can't have them." He blurted out like a three year old before blinking, okay, so a sleep induced fight, that'd work... Right? He shook his head this was embarrassing, he'd owe the senshi big time. He was shaking, wanting the pillows. "Look..." He said in a shaking voice, "Look we have to get out of here." His tone was as flat and serious as he could muster, he was still fighting the urge to go cradle both pillows like they were the one ring, at least she didn't have a pillow either now...
((If I need to change anything lemme know? I tried to leave it open so that Kairi could choose if he actually succeed in any of his actions.))

Mmm, yes, it was definitely bedtime. The light filtering through the leafy canopy of the forest above made the area seem darkish, so it could very well have passed as nighttime. All that Eos knew was that she was tired, and that she wanted to go to sleep, and she had possibly the most amazingly comfortable pillow to go to sleep on. It was hers.
Why couldn't they stay here? Eos actually growled, grumbling under her breath as she took a step back away from Azzo, clutching her pillow possessively. "We don't have to go anywhere!" she snapped, pouting like a toddler would, "I want to go to sleep! Go away!"
He jumped towards her, trying to snatch her pillow away. The senshi sidestepped to avoid him, but he caught her anyway and she tumbled to the ground with a cry, deciding the pillow was more important than her own body as she held onto it tightly, yelping loudly as a result of not bracing her fall. "No, its MINE!" she screamed, kicking her legs now like a child having a tantrum. Except the energy didn't last long and her legs became limper, exhaustion overtaking her once again. He'd pinned her down, but she wriggled around, twisting herself over so she was face down. She then wriggled the pillow up from her chest, closer and closer to her head...
By the time Azzo would have noticed what she was doing, Eos' head would have hit the pillow and the girl will have begun to drift off to sleep.
