TOVA KATZ “Premature burial works just fine as a cure for adolescence.” - George Alec Effinger Name: Tova Katz Nickname: Tov Age: 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 Birthday: June 6, 1993 Sign: Gemini Blood Type: AB Fav. Food: Pomegranates, apples, tea, bagels and lox Hated Food: Pork School: Meadoview High School DCU Sophomore Unknown, MIA Hobbies:Film: Tova has a deep fascination in film. She’s watched many films throughout her life and has seen the majority of the AFI’s 100 Years…Top 100 movies. It is her dream to one day become a film director or a cinematographer for a great psychological thriller. The entire craft of film-making is greatly intriguing to her, and film-watching is always enjoyable. Theatre: While Tova started her interest in theater to be an experience that’ll serve as a gateway into a future of film, she found herself to become immersed in the production of theatre as well. She’s has talent as an actress, but works backstage for some of the plays as well, usually working with the costume designers. Diary Keeping: Under Tova’s bed is a series of shoeboxes. Inside these boxes are countless diaries that document her past. She writes down funny jokes she’s heard, thoughts, rants, dreams, ideas and fears. If one were to ever find her diaries, they’d know too much about Tova than she’d ever care to share. Solace at the Funeral Home: The Gellner’s have operated a funeral home for two generations, and recently started a taxidermy service. Tova finds solace coming to the funeral home, she finds the quietness and the lack of the living to be soothing. Tova also has developed an interest in taxidermy. Yesterday she stuffed a cat. When the Gellner parents moved out of Destiny City, they left the family business to new hands to manage it but still maintain ownership. Tova pops in still and volunteers around the shop, but isn’t able to come and go in the middle of the night as freely as she once was when she had the keys. Gemstone: Pearl Virtues:Well-Meaning: Whether or not Tova’s actions or words express a persona of a kind and loving girl is debatable, but she doesn’t mean to do any harm to anyone. She may offend others, or creep them out, but all she wishes is to be kind to others and have that kindness reciprocated. She's a sweet girl at heart, but her apathetic attitude, quietness, and morbid sense of humor may distract from her kind intentions. Just because she may not crack a smile when she tells you she's happy for you, that doesn't mean she isn't truly happy for you. While her attitude and word choice may not be the greatest, her good intentions shine through in her actions. Neat & Organized: Jay-Z does not need to tell her that she’s gotta get that dirt of her shoulder – she’s way ahead of him. She is very concerned with being clean, neat, and proper. She’s never seen looking disheveled or dirty, keeping great care of herself and her belongings. Everything in her room is put away and her clothing is organized by color, in order of the spectrum. Intelligent: Tova’s massive amounts of time spent watching movies has broadened her horizon of knowledge. She knows a good deal of information (although some of it holds little value) and has a very strong recall memory. She isn’t a genius by any means – fields like mathematics are always rough for her – but if its historically or culturally related, then Tova can provide some decent insight. If there is something Tova does not know, but she has an interest in, she makes it her business to do some online research, usually Wikipedia, and catch herself up to speed. Fun-Loving: Tova is still a teenager, and teenagers do love to have fun! (Cyndi Lauper would like to argue that girls just wanna have fun as well.) While she doesn’t have too many friends (on account of her insecurities and troubles to open up to people), she does maintain an active lifestyle. She’ll go to parties and depending on who she knows, either blend in with the wallpaper or become one of the gang, but never the center of attention. Flaws: Quiet/Apathetic: While she enjoys to have fun, Tova shows very little enthusiasm for much things. Most of her emotions or thoughts are solely expressed in her diary entries, and as such, she finds she doesn’t have much to actually say to people. She can hold a conversation, but rarely talks about herself or her thoughts. When asked for opinions or a personal question, she’ll likely change the topic to one of her interests or some new gossip she’s overheard. Likewise, in a group discussion or meeting, it is unlikely that she will speak her mind or propose a new idea. The larger the group is, the more of a quiet wallflower Tova becomes. Morbid: Tova’s upbringing with her family operating a funeral home and taxidermy service has led her to develop a strange comfort zone with morbid topics. She has what some may call morbid thoughts, and a warped sense of humor. While some may appreciate Tova’s sense of humor, she has found that many are creeped out by her. She loves to tell a good dead baby joke and is one who would laugh hysterically throughout a horror movie, no matter how gruesome and frightening it may be. Insecure: Its hard for Tova to open up to people for a number of reasons. She’s concerned with what other people think of her, worried that others find her to be a weird outcast. She makes an effort to socialize, and she can make friends, but she’s wary of initial social encounters, especially if she feels that someone is making fun of her. If her insecurity buttons are being pressed then, well… Hot-Headed: …if there’s an emotion that Tova does show, it is anger. Her insecurities tend to be the fuse for her tantrums. She is angered easily, and once she’s really set off, she can become violent (mostly verbally). The girl holds a heavy grudge and the term ‘hate’ gets thrown around often. Tova’s morbidly violent attitude can be seen clearly in her angry rants as she makes her threats. While her hot-headedness used to be all talk and no walk, Tova has become increasingly more physically violent. However, her threats are greatly exaggerated. When she says she’s going to cut your throat, she really means she might try to pull your hair out. Quirks:Unlucky: Tova has an unfortunate amount of bad luck. She is often clumsy, highly-accident prone, awkwardly says the wrong thing, and unfortunate events happen to find their way into her life. Sometimes she brings them onto herself with her own mistakes, but often they are outside of her control. She is not cursed, but simply does not have a good track record of things going her way. Sees Life through a Camera Lens: Tova spends a lot of time watching film and television. She is far more familiar with how fictional characters of media operate within their genre than she is familiar with how non-fictional humans operate in the real world. This isn’t to say she doesn’t understand people, but that when she is in a situation that she does not understand or is new to her or emotionally complicated, she relates it to some television show, movie, character, or genre and applies her understanding of that into the way she behaves and expresses her feelings. Great Respect for the Dead: Due to her upbringing, Tova holds great respect for the deceased. As Sailor Requiem, she will not leave a body lying somewhere it cannot be found or do anything but treat a corpse with the upmost respect. She is not entirely opposed to killing, particularly when necessary, but believes that once the target is dead, that it should be treated properly in respect to not only the departed, but to those who will mourn the loss.

ETERNAL SAILOR REQUIEM “He would make a lovely corpse.” - Charles Dickens Senshi Name: Eternal Sailor Requiem, Senshi of Burial Challenge: You're in grave danger! Abilities:Attack #1a: Requiem Coffin! With this shout, Sailor Requiem traps her foe inside a coffin. The coffin is locked shut, and while a more powerful foe can break free, there is little space. The coffin remains locked for two posts or thirty seconds, and then the coffin can be easily opened. While trapped inside the coffin, Sailor Requiem and her allies can escape, concentrate on other enemies, or attack the coffin. If a powerful attack is delivered to the coffin, it will shatter and the foe inside will face the impact of the blow and may face damage from the shattering fragments of the coffin. Sailor Requiem can only use this power once every five of her own posts. Attack #1b: Requiem Coffin Mummy! With this shout, Sailor Requiem mummifies her foe and has them trapped inside a coffin. The coffin is locked shut and the foe is mummified, making it difficult to break free. The binds from the mummification can be torn easily, but with little room inside the coffin, this may prove to be a challenge. Attack #2: Six Feet Under! With this shout, Sailor Requiem summons a six-foot-deep ditch underneath the foe. Upon falling into the ditch, the hole will begin to fill up with dirt. The foe may be injured from the fall, and while they can escape, it will take effort to get themselves out of the ditch, especially if caught off-guard. *Note: If this power is used on a foe trapped in one of Requiem’s coffins, the coffin will break in the impact of the fall. The fragments of the coffin may impact the opponent inside.

FAMILY + HOME LIFE “He who comes for the inheritance is often made to pay for the funeral.” - Yiddish proverb FAMILY.Andrew Gellner (Father): Andrew is Devi's father. He's a stern man of few words who inherited the family business from his own father, and plans to continue keeping the business within the family. Raquel Gellner (Mother): Raquel is Devi's mother. She's an upbeat woman who tries to bring sunshine the gloomy workplace. She works in the family business, and was the one who suggested to open the taxidermy branch. Tits (Pet Mouse, Deceased): Tits was Devi's pet mouse. She bought Tits at a pet shop after her parents refused to let her adopt one of the mice running around the funeral home. ** After General Tanzanite attacked the Gellner family, Andrew and Raquel have moved out of Destiny City. Tits died.

FRIENDS + FOES “Even the best of friends cannot attend each other's funeral.” - Kehlog Albran FRIENDS.Fallon Novette-Naim/Dark Mirror Princess Ares (Friend/Leader): Eternal Sailor Ares is the leader of the Blood Moon Court, and one that Requiem has learned to trust greatly. After the attack from Tanzanite on her family, Ares comforted the young Senshi, and gave her the support of the faction. Requiem eventually revealed her identity to Ares, and Ares reciprocated, revealing herself to be Fallon - a family friend of the Gellners. When Devi's parents moved out of Destiny City, she moved in with Fallon into a suite attached to her mother's condo. When Ares became the Dark Mirror Princess, Ares took Requiem with her to join her on the side of Chaos where she continued to be her leader. Quinn Bennet / Dark Mirror Eternal Sailor Leto (Friend/Leader): Sailor Leto was brought from the Blood Moon Court into the Dark Mirror Court along with Requiem, and their common past has bonded them. Other than Ares, Leto is the Senshi that Requiem trusts mosts and views as her closest ally. She has great loyalty and respect for Leto, and Quinn is the only civilian that Tova would consider to be a friend - whether she admits it or not. Ume McDougall (Old Friend): Ume McDougall is an old friend of Devi's, and the two share a similar taste in humor and interest in films. When Devi was injured by a Negaverse agent, she went to Ume to have the wound treated. Super Sailor MuCephi (Old Friend): Super Sailor MuCephi befriended Requiem, and the two had gone on patrols together. Although Dark Mirror Super Requiem cannot remember why, she remembers MuCephi as a close friend. Eternal Sailor Nemesis (Former Teammate): Requiem first encountered Nemesis while on patrol in a park. Nemesis, a more experienced Senshi, helped Requiem in combat and gave her pointers for future battles. They later met again, as members of the Blood Moon Court. Requiem always had a fondness for Nemesis, and continues to have one even as Dark Mirror Requiem. She hopes that Nemesis could one day join her side. Jack Stark (Crush): Devi met Jack while on a tour group looking at different colleges in Destiny City. He was kind to her, and asked her out on her first date since her split with Damian. She accepted, and the first date went well. However, she was not fully over her break up, and became awkward towards the end when she felt like she should kiss him (and didn't). Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova continues her crush on Jack, although he cannot remember her as her former identity. Jenny Prideux (Friend): Jenny is one of Devi's close friends who gave her dating advice in preparation for her first-ever date. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Jenny remains the same. Sailor Corvus (Friend): Sailor Corvus helped Devi through the time they spent together in Tartaros. Although they never got to learn much about each other, Devi did learn a thing or two about bravery, and she wouldn't have survived long without Corvus's aide. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Corvus remains the same. Dr. Perry Westerman (Teacher/Friend): Dr. Westerman was one of Devi's teachers in her junior year, and she enjoyed his class very much. She encountered him in the nightmare world of Tartaros, but has not seen him since. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Dr. Westerman remains the same. Derpaline: (Friend): Derpaline was the Guardian Cat that awoke Sailor Requiem from within Devi. She appears to be a somewhat...challenged kitten, but Devi found her to be very adorable. Even as a Dark Mirror Senshi, Derpaline is too adorable to dislike. Anthony Darrow (Acquaintance): Devi met Anthony, the local librarian, when she was checking out books to research film production for her slasher film. She does not know much about him, but he kindly granted her permission to film in the library. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Tony remains the same. Vera Valentine (Acquaintance): Devi and Vera were partnered in an incomplete group project. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Vera remains the same. Vanessa Rae (Acquaintance): Vanessa is one of the girls Devi encountered in Tartaros. They have not seen each other since. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Vanessa remains the same. Sailor Polaris (Acquaintance): Sailor Polaris is one of the girls Devi encountered in Tartaros. They have not seen each other since. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Polaris remains the same. Sailor Europa (Acquaintance): Sailor Europa is one of the girls Devi encountered in Tartaros. They have not seen each other since. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Europa remains the same.
FOES.General-Queen Tanzanite (Arch-Nemesis): General Tanzanite attacked the Gellner family funeral home in vengeance for burying her 'work' of mutilated bodies of teenage girls. When Requiem tried to defend her family, and identified herself as a member of the Blood Moon Court, Tanzanite tortured the Gellners to leverage information from Requiem. Requiem betrayed her teammates, and hit an emotional all-time low. When the Blood Moon Court kidnapped Tanzanite, Requiem got the chance to meet with the General once more. After first beating the General, she tried to seek answers and justification for her actions, but when she did not receive the answers she wanted, she attempted to kill the General - only to be stopped by Ares. General Tanzanite's transformation into General-Queen Tanzanite terrified Requiem, and even after Requiem's corruption she is still highly distrusting and antagonistic towards the General-Queen, making her alliance with the Negaverse a hostile one. Damian Cole (Ex-Boyfriend): Damian and Devi first met outside Meadowview High, when Devi stumbled and cut her chin. He helped out and gave her a ride home. He was the first boy to really flirt with Devi, the first boy for her to attempt flirtation back with, and the first boy for her to plan a date with. They dated for a brief time - only sharing two dates - but both dates went so terribly wrong that Devi felt that she could no longer have him in her life. She remembers rekindling her relationship with Damian sometime later, although the details of the start fo their relationship remain hazy. After dating for several months, Devi lost her virginity to him. Immediately after, however, he broke up with her. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Damian remained the same. As Dark Mirror Sailor Requiem, she kidnapped Damian from his home and abducted him to mirrorspace where she tortured him. When she returned him home, she discovered he is now dating Super Sailor Merope. Sailor Orion (Ex-Boyfriend): Sailor Orion has saved Devi from trouble a couple of times, and the two grew to know each other more intimately. She quickly developed feelings for the Senshi, and they began to date. On their first official date, Orion took her to space to visit his home planet. She recalls dating him for a while after, but the details remain hazy until he was no longer in her life. She remembers simply feeling hurt by him. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Orion remains the same. Sailor Toutatis (Teammate/Rival): This new recruit attacked Requiem during a training exercise in response to her negative reinforcement style of teaching, then reported Requiem to her superiors. Although Requiem and her superior felt that Requiem was not in the wrong, Toutatis felt otherwise and stormed away. Sailor Aurora (Teammate/Rival): This new recruit attacked Requiem during a training exercise in response to her negative reinforcement style of teaching, then reported Requiem to her superiors. Although Requiem and her superior felt that Requiem was not in the wrong, Aurora felt otherwise and stormed away. Sailor Merope (Rival): This Senshi punk jumped in and ruined one of Requiem's battles, and then made fun of her hair. He is high on her "most-disliked" list. Him and his stupid blue hair and Aladdin outfit. Requiem later discovered that Merope is close friends and a teammate with her then-boyfriend, Orion. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Merope remained the same. After kidnapping and returning Damian, Requiem learned that Merope is now dating Damian. Sailor Birhan-Istat (Former Teammate, Enemy): Birhan-Istat is a teammate of Requiem's from the Blood Moon Court. During Requiem's training, the two women sparred as practice, in a match which Requiem won. Requiem is untrusting of Birhan for her betrayal of Ares, who is now her Dark Mirror Princess. Birhan is now an enemy of Requiem's as they are on opposite sides. Captain Uranophane (Enemy): Uranophane was the second of the Negaverse agents who crashed her first date with Damian. Devi had long sworn revenge, and she did not re-encounter Uranophane until a night in Elysion. Devi, Sailor Requiem then, dueled with Uranophane, deliberately angering her by threatening the life of Vivianite. She found the threats to be successful (perhaps too successful), and trapped Uranophane in a coffin, only to threaten Vivianite's life one more time. Vivianite: (Enemy): As Devi knows her, this girl is "The Date-Wrecking b***h." Vivianite was one of two Negaverse agents who crashed her first date with Damian, an event that still scars her. When, as Requiem, she spotted Vivianite, the two fought but Vivianite bested her and escaped. Captain Sassolite (Opponent): This Negaverse agent not only was tampering on cemetery grounds, illegally burying another body, but she shot Sailor Requiem with an arrow, straight in the shoulder. It was her first time fighting a Negaverse agent, and she lost. The two met again when the Blood Moon Court's captives were rescued, but Sassolite escaped Requiem's attacks. Lieutenant Zircon (Opponent): Requiem fought against Lieutenant Zircon in the battle at the Temple of Elysion. Requiem held her own for a while, but the match was three-to-one, and she eventually succumbed to injuries. Lieutenant Fayalite (Opponent): Requiem battled Lieutenant Fayalite in Elysion. Requiem took out pent-up frustrations onto the Lieutenant, breaking her nose and trapping her into a coffin. Captain Scheelite (Conflicted Feelings): This Captain confused Requiem when he reached out his hand to help her out. Not wanting the Negaverse to be anything but an enemy, she attacked him. Sailor Ganymede (Dislike): Requiem may be able forgive Ganymede, one day. In a battle in Elysion, Requiem argued with Ganymede, trying to encourage him to fight in the battle. Her argument wasn't the most tactfully worded, but his refusal to fight bothered her to no end, especially when he simply watched as she later was beaten. Elegancia D'Strella (Source of Embarrassment): Elegancia isn't so much an enemy to Devi as she is someone who she'd rather just not see again for humility's sake. While the girl was very kind to her, buying her a pair of shoes, Devi awkwardly got too good of a feel of Elegancia and there was far too much embarrassment all around to relive that memory. Although her life as Devi is behind her, Tova's attitude toward Elegancia remains the same.

HISTORY “Leisure without literature is death and burial alive.” - Seneca the Younger Beginnings. Devorah Gellner's life was stable for a long period of time, but things began to change towards the end of her junior year at Meadowview High. She had been having an increasing number of nightmares, but one particular nightmare frightened her the most. She dreamt she was paralyzed, yet pronounced dead. Her consciousness was stuck in a lifeless body as she was forced to watch her parents grieve her death, and feel the pain as an autopsy was performed on her ("The Autopsy of Devorah Gellner"). The following day, Devi went to her friend Ume's home to watch the slasher flick, A Nightmare on Elm Street. During the screening, Devi and Ume came up with the idea to make their own slasher film, and began brainstorming for ideas. ("A Nightmare on Elm Street"). Soon after, Devi visited the local library to start research on filmmaking and information on producing the slasher genre ("Killer Search").
First Date. A few days later, Devi was hurrying out of school when she tripped and busted her chin. A boy, Damian Cole, came to her assistance and flirted with her. For the very first time, Devi flirted with a boy as he helped bandage her up and drive her home. Ultimately, Devi was asked out on her very first date ("3:25 PM"). As it was her very first date, she asked her friend Jenny for some dating tips, and received some ill-advised pointers ("Jenny Wrote the Book of Love"). Before her date, Devi was assigned a group project with a girl, Vera Valentine for Dr. Westerman's class ("Biome, Part I"). On the date itself, Devi and Damian were having a fine time until they arrived at the restaurant, Koala Express. While Damian was getting food inside, Devi was attacked by a strange creature, and then two strange women were there! She was luckily saved by the hero Sailor Orion, but date was still ruined ("First Date"). Despite the fiasco of the first date, Devi managed to land a second date. When getting clothes for this date, she met a girl named Elegancia who bought her her very first pair of pumps. However, when learning to walk in the shoes, Devi fell and had a 'close encounter of the second base' ("Gone Shopping").
Tartaros. While waiting for Damian on their second date, Devi slipped into a comatose state along with much of Destiny City, an effect from the Pyrite Crystal blast ("No Time to Say Hello, Goodbye"). She woke up in a strange room with a Senshi, Sailor Corvus. Unsure of her surroundings and perplexed by the unusual activities in the room, the two struggled to figure their way out ("Impassable, Not Impossible"). Even after escaping the room, the girls found themselves lost and determined that wherever they were, it wasn't safe ("On the Other Side"). Devi and Sailor Corvus found themselves in a new room with other lost people in this bizarre world. Amongst these lost people was Dr. Westerman, Devi's teacher at Meadowview High, and several other 'Sailors' and students. Despite the comfort of familiar faces, they found themselves to be less than safe as they were forced to drink potions, and one girl died before their eyes. The roof started to cave in as other students grew, and others - including Devi - shrank. They quickly looked for an escape through a tiny door, and as Devi went through the door, everything faded to black ("Stage One: Wonderland"). The next thing she knew, she was in a hospital bed, coming out of a coma. Her mother told her it was all just a nightmare, but she knew that it was real. After waking up from her time in Tartaros, Devi re-evaluated things in her life. She realized that ever since she had met Damian, bad things had been happening to her, especially when he was around. This realization led to her harshly breaking up with him ("Are You Ignoring Me?").
Becoming a Senshi. Still not recovered from her time in Tartaros and now without Damian, she spent a lot of her time in solitude. She spent many nights by herself in the cemetery, where she met the most unusual cat, Derpaline. When the two were attacked by a youma, Derpaline awoke Sailor Requiem within Devi, unleashing the Senshi warrior and changing Devi's life forever ("Grave Awakenings"). However, Sailor Requiem was a coward. Not one to get in a fight - much more of one to run away and hide - Devi neglected her duties as Sailor Requiem. Things changed during the Halloween ball. When the ball was crashed by Negaverse agents as both Negaverse and Senshi alike fought over a crystal and chaos broke loose, Requiem felt no choice but to do her best. However, she failed to be of any benefit and trapped her fellow Senshi in a coffin and endangered them. Embarrassed, she hid in a closet and powered down as the rest of the Senshi failed to get a hold of the crystal ("Destiny City Masquerade"). Devi tried to escape the ball and was met by Sailor Orion, who rescued her from the youma attack on her first date with Damian. Orion escorted her out of the ball and to a safe location where they then kissed ("Battered and Broken, but not Bruised"). After the events of the evening, Devi decided to no longer shy away from her duties as a Senshi, and that she must act as Sailor Requiem to protect the city and prevent failures like that evening from happening again.
Training Days. With the new ambition, Requiem began to self-train to become a Senshi, but got pointers from the experienced Sailor Castor ("Training Day, sans Denzel"). As she learned new techniques, she began patrolling the streets for danger. On one evening, she was taking down one of her very first youmas when her battle was interrupted by a rude Senshi, Sailor Merope. Merope got in Requiem's way, messing up her strategy, and then had the audacity to make fun of her hair. Infuriated, Requiem trapped him in a coffin and ran off, hoping to never see him again ("Buried at Sea"). On another day of training and jogging in the park, Devi found a dead body lying in the path. Knowing danger was afoot, she transformed into Sailor Requiem and scouted the area when she met Sailor Nemesis. The two quickly found themselves endangered by a youma, but they worked together to take it down, each impressed by the other. Nemesis gave Requiem some more pointers, advising her to learn to fight without requiring her powers and to use them as a last resort ("Dead and Gone"). When coming off patrol one evening, Requiem returned back to the cemetery to find a Negaverse agent - Captain Sassolite - trespassing. Thinking herself ready for battle, Requiem challenged Sassolite, but quickly learned she was not prepared enough. Sassolite quickly was able to attack, shooting an arrow through Requiem's shoulder and escaping her coffin attack ("Dancing on Graves"). Devi carried the arrow wound in her shoulder for days before turning to Ume for aide, hoping her first aid and medical knowledge could come in assistance. However, Ume did not believe Devi's story of how the wound came to be, and her identity as Requiem was revealed. Fortunately, Ume revealed herself to be a Senshi as well, Sailor MuCephi, and the two furthered their bond as she treated Devi's injury ("Exposing the Wound"). Patrolling another night, Requiem came across Vivianite - one of the Negaverse agents who crashed her first date with Damian. Enraged and seeking revenge, Requiem attacked. However, despite her new training, she was unmatched and Vivianite was able to escape before she could do any real damage ("Revenge for a Ruined Date").
Blood Moon Court Recruitment. Despite her failures, her actions caught attention and she was invited into a new faction that was forming - the Blood Moon Court. Intrigued and interested in its goals and training it offers, she accepted and became enlisted as a cadet. She attended training sessions where she was taught to properly punch and box, and won a training match against Sailor Birhan-Istat, impressing fellow Blood Moon Court Senshi such as Sailor Ares and Nemesis ("Training (All) Day").
Devi and Orion. After having not been in contact since their kiss after the Halloween ball, Orion and Devi were reunited when he met her at the cemetery. Feeling it unwise to reveal herself as Requiem, she kept this information a secret as he proposed to take her to a special place - his home planet. Intrigued, she accepted his offer to take her with him and they traveled to planet Orion for a romantic getaway. The first date went incredibly well, aside from Devi's jealousy over a statue of a beautiful woman in Orion's old palace. During the date, she coyly asked how a Senshi was able to space travel, and also caught a glimpse of his henshin pen ("The Second First Date"). Soon after her date, she made a decision to visit her own planet. Hoping for a vibrant lively planet, she was disappointed to discover that it was flat, bleak, and largely depressing. There was only one visible building built out of bones and skulls. Overcome with disappointment, she began to cry when a brief memory of her past life began to flash before her eyes. In the memory she was having sex with a large giant built like a lumberjack. Mortified, she left planet Requiem, embarrassed by the event ("Burying the Bone"). Several weeks later, Devi spotted Damian alone in a local coffee shop. Having not seen him since their break up, she politely greeted him and caught up with him. Their encounter was polite and she found it nice to be in his company again, although it was short lived. He accidentally revealed a henshin pen to her - one matching Sailor Orion's - and hurried off, leaving her alone with plenty to think about ("Henshin Pen 15"). Under the realization that her superhero boyfriend was actually her ex-boyfriend, Devi thought about how to approach the situation. She invited Damian over to her home with a suggestive text message, and greeted him in an overtly sexual manner while discussing that she is already in a relationship, hoping he would find the situation uncomfortable and admit the truth. When this failed, she continued to trash Orion behind his back (or to his face, depending on interpretation) until Damian finally confessed in effort to defend himself. Devi then revealed herself as Sailor Requiem. With all deceptions cleared, Devi and Damian, and Orion and Requiem, began a real relationship without lies about their identities ("Secrets Secrets").
Elysion. Requiem, like all other Senshi, was called to a meeting in a strange warehouse led by a mysterious man, Kurma. It wasn't long until all the Senshi were transported into limitless space, floating aimlessly. Requiem met with Orion and his team - Alcyone, Atlas, and Merope. Merope and Requiem bickered almost immediately, and Alcyone took Merope's side. Feeling left out, Requiem backed away from the group, only to reunite with Orion later as they traveled through a portal ("Above the Delta"). Through the portal, Orion and Requiem found themselves in the dream world Elysion. However, the serenity of the moment was interrupted by the Negaverse. The Senshi fought to protect the area, but the battle was a chaotic disaster. Requiem and Orion were separated as Requiem fought corrupted Senshi Alkaid, but reunited only to split again in the chaos ("R.E.M."). Requiem and the Blood Moon Court went to a dirty run-down treatment center posing as a hospital to treat their wounds from the battle and devised plans to handle the Negaverse and set a new primary target: General Tanzanite ("Red-Light Healing"). ... ("Two's Company"). Frustrated that her life and academic were suffering due to her nights warring in Elysion, she took out her anger on Lieutenant Fayalite by maiming her ("Sticks and Stones").
Tanzanite. As Devi and her family were finishing up work at the funeral home, working overtime one evening, they were attacked by General Tanzanite. Devi was hidden, and able to transform to Requiem, and try to protect her family. However, when it was revealed to Tanzanite that she was a Blood Moon Court Senshi, her parents suffered as a consequence. Tanzanite began to torture her parents as leverage for Requiem to spill information on the Blood Moon Court, leading her to betray her teammates in effort to save her family ("Bad Night"). After the General left, Requiem did her best to take care of her family, but knew she had to leave to let the Blood Moon Court know of her betrayal before they found out by other - more deadly - means ("Puke"). The young cadet reported herself to her superior and leader of the Blood Moon Court, Super Sailor Ares, as she broke down in tears. Ares took her through a mirror, letting her know she has the support of the Blood Moon Court ("Surprise Check-In"). A few weeks later, Requiem found herself in Elysion again, protecting the Temple of Elysion from the Negaverse. Initially, she feuded with a fellow Senshi, Sailor Ganymede, who was refusing to fulfill his duty and fight. She let her guard down in the argument, and quickly found herself under the assault of Lieutenant Zircon, Captains Alumo and Uranophane, and briefly General Tanzanite. Requiem held her ground for as long as she could against Zircon, Alumo, and Uranophane, but she was ultimately bested and succumbed to injuries elsewhere in the battlefield after she managed to escape. She slipped in and out of consciousness as Endymion revealed himself to be untrustworthy ("Great Awakening"). Devi awoke, covered in blood and bruises, screaming in pain. Her father stormed in, distraught, and informed her of her parents' decision to leave Destiny City and move to Florida, to somewhere safer ("Say Farewell to Devorah Gellner"). Requiem turned to the Blood Moon Court, revealing identity to Ares, who in turn revealed her identity to be Fallon Navette-Naim, a family friend. Fallon's mother Iva contacted Devi's parents and convinced them to let Devi move in with her family. When Devi moved in, Iva was not living there, and she instead lived alone with Fallon in her beautiful estate ("Fresh Prince of Bel-Air").
Operation Rota. Requiem was used as bait to lure out General Tanzanite for a meeting, but the General brought a group of Negaverse agents. Requiem came with members of the Blood Moon Court and the two ambushed one another. The Blood Moon Court executed their plan of abducting several of the agents using chloroform and tranquilizers, successfully kidnapping Captains Wolframrite, Uranophane, Dioptase, Helicase, Primace, and even General Tanzanite ("Oh Crap."). Requiem paid a visit to General Tanzanite, bringing a large shovel with her which she used initially to beat the General with in revenge. However, she eventually tried to discuss the General's justifications for her actions. Unpleased and infuriated with her answers, she attempted to kill Tanzanite with the weapon but was stopped by Ares and escorted out of the room ("Revenge is a Wild Kind of Justice"). Feeling as insignificant and puny as ever after her failed attempt to seek revenge, she let out her pent up rage on another prisoner, Captain Wolframite. Halfway through beating him, she broke out into tears on his lap feeling guilty and out of control, before storming out of the room ("No Words"). After these events, Requiem was inducted into the Blood Moon Court as a full-member, a Mercenary, and began to consider the group her family ("A New Family"). As a Mercenary, she was there at the final night of the hostage situation as Ares tortured each of the captives for information and Captain Dioptase was savagely tortured to death ("Purge"). Later that night, war raged on between the Senshi and the Negaverse as the Blood Moon Court captive facility was raided and destroyed. Requiem fought against Captain Sassolite and Scheelite, the latter of whom offered her a hand in battle. Confused and enraged by this, she attack him, not wanting the Negaverse to be anything but her enemy. It was then that General Tanzanite was consumed by her youma arm and morphed into the Black Phoenix. Requiem tried to fight it off, but corrupted Super Sailor Alkaid disrupted her, and Requiem was badly injured only to be saved by Nemesis and later Sailor Asclepius, who tended to her wounds. Requiem left the battlefield, wounded as she watched General Tanzanite become a General-Queen, an even more powerful monster than before ("Set Fire to the Rain").
Aftermath. After Operation Rota, Devi struggled with her feelings about the Blood Moon Court and the Negaverse. She hated the Negaverse and felt the Court was her family; but she sympathized with the Negaverse's losses and felt the Court had gone too far. That is, until she received a letter of acceptance from NYU, which she had to reject when she came to the conclusion that her duties as a Senshi are more important than her own future, and the Court may be extremist but they are the good guys in this war ("Just Say No"). Devi was filled with frustrations and emotional turmoil in the events that followed, and often took out her anger on others. She met with Elegancia once again, and things quickly escalated into a fight ("Bitches"), and also got in a confrontation in a movie theatre ("Our Lives are Not a Movie"). She lectured another Senshi, Sailor Chaonis, about the importance of respecting the dead after catching him vandalizing the cemetery, and threatened him with seriousness and hostility ("Its Not Like Its Your Grave"). She also reunited with Corrupt Sailor Alkaid, where the two calmly talked about their opposing sides until they reached an impasse in their conversation ("Crossroads"). Finding herself angry at the world, and realizing that one of her strongest emotional support rocks she had in her life was Damian, she decided to lose her virginity to him ("Together..."). However, he then promptly broke up with her after discovering her Blood Moon Court branding mark on her body ("...and Apart").
Going Stag. Devi was completely heart-broken by her sudden loss of Damian, and took time to recover. After a weekend of marathoning movies, eating pints of ice cream, and drinking bottles of wine, Devi found herself slowly coming to terms with the break up and decided to not let it faze her. She decided to forget about Damian, wash him out of her life, and continue on on her own ("I Will Survive"). However, without Damian, Devi was also without a prom date, which she attended stag. After a few drinks at the spiked punch bowl, she got a little sloppy, particularly towards Jada ("Its Friday, Friday"). After being kicked out of the prom for her drunkenness, Devi noticed the giant youma raiding the streets. She powered up to Requiem and fought the monster formerly known as Justin Bieber ("We Dont Say German in America"). Later that night, Fallon barged into Devi's room, speaking cryptically about something that Birhan had done, before storming off into the night, seemingly for good ("Late Night"). While on a tour of Sovereign Heights' campus, Devi met another student on the tour, Jack Stark. They chatted over lunch, and the conversation led to him asking her out on a date. She accepted, but also cautioned him that she is in the process of coming out of a break up ("Prospects"). The date went well, for the most part, but Devi became awkward towards the end when she felt the desire to kiss him farewell. Ultimately, the date ended without a kiss, and some mild awkwardness. They met again later, at a cliff party that Jack was holding, where they spent some more time together ("Cliff Party").
The Dark Mirror. Having not seen Fallon nor Ares for weeks since the night she stormed out after prom, Requiem had been a less enthusiastic and active member of the Blood Moon Court, suspicious of what the new leaders could have done to her friend. However, when Ares appeared at a Blood Moon Court meeting as the corrupt Dark Mirror Princess, Requiem grew furious at the loss of her friend and ally. She challenged Ares, which led to her own baptism in which she became Dark Mirror Super Sailor Requiem, the Parallel Senshi of Burial ("Dark Tidings"). The new Dark Mirror Court: Ares, Requiem, Leto and Gaia met in the realm of mirrorspace where Ares detailed the ideals and functions of the court and laid out their future as new enlightened parallel Senshi ("Brave New World"). With Requiem's baptism into becoming a Dark Mirror Senshi, her former civilian identity as Devorah Gellner was lost. She was no longer recognizable as the same teenage girl she once was, and to cope with this loss, Requiem - under the new civilian disguise 'Tova Katz' - held a funeral for Devi Gellner by burying all of her past sentimental items, including her life-chronicling series of diaries ("The Burial of Devorah Gellner").
The Surrounding. Shortly after, Super Sailor Requiem was called into a Negaverse meeting beside Princess Ares to discuss their plans to invade the Zodiac owned and operated barrier to space, The Surrounding, using her planet and Alkaid's as an access point to space ("Cry Havoc, and Let Slip the Dogs of War"). She met with General Zinkenite to discuss their invasion plans and set some ground rules ("Mirror Mirror"). Prior to the full-scale invasion, Requiem mirror-walked into the Surrounding but was quickly captured by Princess Chronos ("The Welcome Party"). She was interrogated by various members of the White Moon Court, demanding answers about the Dark Mirror Court until Princess Ares came to her rescue ("The Interrogation"). Later, she was a part of the invasion where the forces of Chaos fought with the many forces of Order, and the Dark Mirror Court recruited several new members. Ultimately, the forces of Order joined together to banish Chaos from the Surrounding ("Breach").
New Recruits. After the events in the Surrounding, the Dark Mirror Court with its newest recruits met in mirrorspace to discuss their new roles in the faction. They had initially divided the new recruits into teams for mentorship where Requiem trained four members - Lesath, Remarque, Danae, and Orpheus ("Lost in Mirrorspace"). She later gathered these recruits for individual training of their tasks ("The Mirror Gang"). She attempted to convert former allies and members of the White Moon Court to the Dark Mirrors, but was unsuccessful in these attempts ("Dont You Understand?", "Mirror Trick") and also fought Knights who stood in her way ("Well, Looky Here"). She maintained a relationship with her allies in the Court, visiting Leto when she was injured and speaking with Al-Janah when he needed her help ("Paying a Visit", "Outside Aide").
Unfinished Business. Growing bored of the same routine, Requiem decided to take care of some unfinished business from her previous life - particularly business surrounding her former relationship with Damian Cole. Traveling through his bathroom mirror, she entered his home and abducted him, taking him into mirrorspace with her ("Abduction"). In mirrorspace, Requiem tortured Damian greatly for information about how he remembered her and why he had dumped her - unable to remember the events accurately herself - and only let him go after he lied ("Ex-treme Measures"). When she returned Damian to his home, she was attacked by a guardian cat and Sailor Merope - who Requiem learned is now Damian's boyfriend! Amused by the change in events, she narrowly escaped their attack ("Special Delivery"). Meanwhile, Tova was determined to make a change in her own personal life and return to her plans to go to school - but unfortunately her new roommate was Becky McZlutt, the girl who had tormented Devi throughout high school ("The New Girl"). In classes, she was reunited with her former crush Jack Stark who was in a film class with her - and they quickly shared a mutual attraction ("Introduction to Film"). Meanwhile, however, Becky continued to be a bothersome roommate until Tova decided to use her powered identity to torment her, dragging her through mirrorspace to the woods for some light, fun torture ("Project Becky"). Things went awry and Becky tried to escape, but tripped and cracked her head open ("Oops"). Barely guilt-ridden, Requiem requested the aide of Sailor Lesath to help bury the body ("The Strangest Request"). Requiem later encountered Super Sailor Albali, a former acquaintance through the Blood Moon Court and a former close ally of Ares who had been rejected from joining the ranks of the Dark Mirror Court. Requiem challenged Albali, calling her weak, and the two sparred on a rooftop but Requiem had bested her - trapping her in a coffin and kicking her off the ledge, uncaring about her survival ("Weakling Test").

PAST LIFE “I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.” - Mark Twain ESSENTIALS. Name and Title(s). Eternal Sailor Requiem, Senshi of Burial; Gatekeeper of Requiem Civilian Name. Antossis Rael Home. Requiem Sex. Female Age. 17 (upon awakening); 49 (upon death)
HOBBIES. Burials. As the Senshi of Burial, one of Antossis's key duties is to bury the dead - and she enjoys it greatly. Whether it is preparing the corpse for burial or digging the grave, Antossis finds the process relaxing and fun. Stories. Antossis rarely gets to leave her home world, so much of her knowledge about other worlds and cultures comes from stories of the visitors she meets or through books. She spends a lot of time alone in the Gatekeeper's Tower, and during those times she only has her books to keep her company.
VIRTUES. Friendly. Antossis is certainly friendly - or at least always means to be. While some of what she says can be off-putting or creep some people out, she has only the most friendly and helpful of intentions! Proper. Propriety is a very important value on Requiem, and it was a value instilled in all of its people. Antossis is no exception, following a strict code of manners and carrying herself with a very proper and formal demeanor. Intelligent. Antossis has little social interaction in her day to day life, so instead is able to throw herself into studies. She loves reading books about different worlds and cultures, mythos and stories. Through this research, she has gained quite a bit of worldly and galactic knowledge.
FLAWS. Depressed. Being awakened as the Senshi of Requiem is both a blessing and a curse. Of course there are the benefits, but there is a significant downside of often feeling trapped inside the Gatekeeper's Tower, rarely able to leave without substitutes. In consequence, Antossis feels often unfulfilled with what her life brings her. Desperate. Antossis so greatly longs for more contact that in what contact she gets, she often comes off far too strong and desperate for friendship. She is a stage five clinger who wants to be your new best friend at the onset of eye contact. Grim. As a Requiemite, a culture with an interest in the macabre, and as one whose trade is in death, Antossis is not just desensitized by grim topics but finds them wildly entertaining. However, people of other cultures find her satisfaction in seeing a corpse to be quite creepy.
THE ASTEROID. The asteroid Requiem is known to many as the graveyard planet, a small asteroid layered with corpses. People - particularly notable persons - throughout the White Moon Kingdom were welcome to bury their deceased on the planet of Requiem. Those who were buried on laid to rest on Requiem's surface live on in the afterlife in the underworld below the asteroid's crust layer - although only the Senshi of Requiem or other significant wielders of magic may cross through to the Underworld. Inside the Mausoleum of Requiem, on the Surface, people may contact the deceased buried in the planet. In order to protect the Underworld, the Senshi of Requiem is tasked with the important role of guarding the Underworld Gates. For more information, see here.
HISTORY.
FRIENDS + FOES. Princess Saturn (Former Connection/Friend): Requiem and Princess Saturn get along very well, with similar personalities, interests and styles. However, as Requiem's responsibilities as the Gatekeeper of Requiem required her to live further and further in isolation, they grew apart but are like old friends whenever they get the opportunity to reunite. Niflhel (): Princess Pluto (Political/Comrades and Allies): Requiem is a distant and at times lonely girl, something which she finds she can relate to with Princess Pluto. They don't have a very mentionable personal relationship, but their planets view each other positively even if distant. Princess Venus (Former Positive Connection/Dislike): Requiem and Princess Venus initially got off to a really good start. However, during one of their meetings Requiem grew violently ill and threw up all over Princess Venus. Twice.

DEVORAH GELLNER “Premature burial works just fine as a cure for adolescence.” - George Alec Effinger Name: Devorah Gellner
Nickname: Devi (She introduces herself as this; she allows very few and far between to refer to her by her full name.)
Age: 16 17 18
Birthday: June 6
Sign: Gemini
Blood Type: AB
Fav. Food: Pomegranates, apples, tea, bagels and lox
Hated Food: Pork
School: Meadoview High School Graduate; attending DCU in the fall
Hobbies:
Film: Devi has a deep fascination in film.
Theatre: While Devi started her interest in theater to be an experience that’ll serve as a gateway into a future of film, she found herself to become immersed in the production of theatre as well. She’s has talent as an actress, but works backstage for some of the plays as well, usually working with the costume designers.
Diary Keeping: Under Devi’s bed is a series of shoeboxes. Inside these boxes are countless diaries that document her past. She writes down funny jokes she’s heard, thoughts, rants, dreams, ideas and fears. If one were to ever find her diaries, they’d know too much about Devi than she’d ever care to share.
Solace at the Funeral Home: The Gellner’s have operated a funeral home for two generations, and recently started a taxidermy service. Devi finds solace coming to the funeral home, she finds the quietness and the lack of the living to be soothing. Devi also has developed an interest in taxidermy. Yesterday she stuffed a cat. When the Gellner parents moved out of Destiny City, they left the family business to new hands to manage it but still maintain ownership. Devi pops in still and volunteers around the shop, but isn’t able to come and go in the middle of the night as freely as she once was when she had the keys.
Gemstone: Pearl
Virtues: Well-Meaning: Whether or not Devi’s actions or words express a persona of a kind and loving girl is debatable, but she doesn’t mean to do any harm to anyone.
Intelligent: Devi’s massive amounts of time spent watching movies has broadened her horizon of knowledge. She knows a good deal of information (although some of it holds little value) and has a very strong recall memory. She isn’t a genius by any means – fields like mathematics are always rough for her – but if its historically or culturally related, then Devi can provide some decent insight. If there is something Devi does not know, but she has an interest in, she makes it her business to do some online research, usually Wikipedia, and catch herself up to speed.
Fun-Loving: Devi is still a teenager, and teenagers do love to have fun!
Flaws: Quiet/Apathetic: While she enjoys to have fun, Devi shows very little enthusiasm for much things. The larger the group is, the more of a quiet wallflower Devi becomes.
Morbid: Devi’s upbringing with her family operating a funeral home and taxidermy service has led her to develop a strange comfort zone with morbid topics. She has what some may call morbid thoughts, and a warped sense of humor. While some may appreciate Devi’s sense of humor, she has found that many are creeped out by her. She loves to tell a good dead baby joke and is one who would laugh hysterically throughout a horror movie, no matter how gruesome and frightening it may be.
Insecure: Its hard for Devi to open up to people for a number of reasons. She’s concerned with what other people think of her, worried that others find her to be a weird outcast. She makes an effort to socialize, and she can make friends, but she’s wary of initial social encounters, especially if she feels that someone is making fun of her. If her insecurity buttons are being pressed then, well…
Hot-Headed: …if there’s an emotion that Devi does show, it is anger. Her insecurities tend to be the fuse for her tantrums. She is angered easily, and once she’s really set off, she can become violent (mostly verbally). The girl holds a heavy grudge and the term ‘hate’ gets thrown around often. Devi’s morbidly violent attitude can be seen clearly in her angry rants as she makes her threats. While her hot-headedness used to be all talk and no walk, Devi has become increasingly more physically violent. However, her threats are greatly exaggerated. When she says she’s going to cut your throat, she really means she might try to pull your hair out.
Quirks: Unlucky: Devi has an unfortunate amount of bad luck.
Sees Life through a Camera Lens: Devi spends a lot of time watching film and television.
Great Respect for the Dead: Due to her upbringing, Devi holds great respect for the deceased.
