Mirrorspace was quite the creepy place, especially for those unfamiliar. To Requiem, it always felt rather dreamlike - the shifting shapes of the hazy rooms, the uniformed whitish color of the floor and little pieces of furniture, and the mirrors all along the walls. And inside one of the mirrors was one Damian Cole, still left in nothing but his boxers after Requiem had abducted him from his apartment bathroom.

Her ex-boyfriend needed a shave, she thought, as she sat in a foggy white chair watching over him as he slept, already drained of much of his energy. She had been watching him for the past ten minutes, deep in thought. He had been a prisoner in mirrorspace for almost a day, yet she hardly had said two words to him since. To be frank, she wasn't sure where to begin.

She hardly remembered the fine details for much of their relationship, it seemed. He knew that Requiem was once Devi, though her new identity was still safe, though she couldn't for the life of her figure out why she would have told him that. She couldn't even remember why they broke up - only when and how they split, and how that made her feel.

It made her feel like absolute s**t. And now she was going to have her revenge.

"Wakie, wakie," she teased, clapping her hands in front of the mirror that contained him. "Its time for you to answer some questions."

Damian wasn't having such a great day. While the nineteen year old generally relished trying out new things, and having new experiences being attacked in his bathroom by his ex was admittedly one he could have lived without. Being trapped in a mirror for nearly twenty four hours was another experience that he would have passed by the sign up table for. Unfortunately he didn't get much of a choice in the matter.

At first being stuck in a mirror was at least a bit interesting, if not terrifying. But after the first hour both the novelty and the terror had worn off, mostly because his energy was being siphoned away leaving him without much will to fight against his glass cage.

By the time Requiem returned and began making way too much noise in front of his mirror Damian was so out of it he wasn't able to figure out if he had been trapped for two hours or two weeks. The redhead stirred slowly as his ex woke him up, grey eyes roaming over his surroundings before they landed on her. He parted his lips to speak but at first just a cracked sound came out. Clearing his throat he tried again. <******** you, you crazy a** b***h." Damian was a pretty laid back guy, but kidnapping him and leaving him inside a mirror for hours on end wasn't something he could let roll off his back.

Requiem smiled. He was mad at her, that was good, it meant she would have to be a bit more forceful with him - which meant it would be more fun for her than if he were compliant.

"So hostile," she laughed and rose from her chair. "I just want to ask you a few questions. But if you want to be so rude, then so be it." She reached her hand into the mirror to grab him and pull him out. She wasn't afraid of him running anywhere, she doubted he would have the energy and there was no way for him to escape mirrorspace without aide.

"Nowhere to run, so don't even think about it," she reminded him as she took back her seat. She crossed her legs and straightened out her skirt, bouncing her crossed heel up and down as she rested her elbow on her knee, and chin in her palm. "You obviously know who I am. I'd like to know what else do you know about me. That doesn't sound so hard now, does it?"

Damian's eyes were trained on Requiem, tracing her movements. He didn't want to be caught by surprise, not that being on guard would help him all that much when he was weak as a kitten, but he wasn't going to just give up.

When he was yanked out of the mirror the redhead stumbled slightly as Requiem let go. After a day of being in the confining space it felt odd to be able to move. Not that he was moving all that quickly. Regaining his balance he was about to lean against the mirror, but then thought better of it. He didn't want to make it easier for her to push him back inside. So, instead he forced himself to move, walking around her chair. He stopped when he was directly behind her, leaning forwards to rest his forearms on the back of the chair. He didn't attempt to hurt or even touch her, he knew that would be pointless. She was still powered up, and he was fighting just to stay standing.

"Well, let's see. I went over the crazy a** b***h part, but it's worth saying again." He smirked, his facade of confidence was weak, but he was trying. "Did I mention creepy? Because you were always a bit morbid, Dev" He was too tired to try and remember what name he was supposed to call her. "And by a bit I mean a whole hell of a lot." The answers he was giving were the obvious ones that he was sure she already knew. He really wasn't all that interested in doing what she wanted so the nineteen year old had decided to go with being difficult.

Requiem didn't like that he had the energy to stand. Not one bit. She wasn't afraid of him, not in the least - he was significantly weaker than her as long as he was powered down. But as he loomed over her, walking around her chair, their height difference represented to her an illusion of a power difference where she was in the weaker position. And that she did not like.

When he rested his forearm on the back of her chair, she placed her hand on his wrist behind her, still seated in the chair.

"Sit down," she said, grasping on to his wrist tightly - an extra tight squeeze and twist for good measure. "Else I'll rip your c**k off and feed it to the youma." She paused and grinned. She supposed Damian had a point about her morbidity. But to call her creepy? ******** him. She jabbed her elbow back, a bit above her head, hoping to elbow him in the gut.

"We dated for a while," she stated, although it was almost like a question. There was plenty of uncertainty, the timeline was so hazy. The only thing she was certain about was increasing anger. "You mean to say that all that time you thought I was creepy?" She rose from her seat swiftly and turned to him. "Then you what? ******** me and dump me? Use me and lose me?"

She slapped her ex across the face, and didn't regret it for a moment.

The hand on his wrist surprised Damian, he was expecting p- ah! He winced as she squeezed. There it was, the pain that he assumed was coming to him at some point, because why else would she kidnap him? Surely not just to talk. He didn't follow her command immediately, though her threat had him second guessing his resolve. He really like his c**k, and he really really liked his c**k still attached to his body and not eaten by some youma. He was about to make a comment, but before he could form words all the air was knocked out of his lungs. Her elbow had hit him pretty hard and in his weakened state he couldn't do anything but sag against the chair. The piece of furniture was the only thing that was keeping him upright.

He wheezed trying to catch his breath as she kept talking. It wasn't exactly working. Damian heard her accusations, but it took him a minute to actually process them and by that time she had already whipped around and her hand was flying towards him, connecting against his cheek with a loud smack. <******** hell!" He hadn't been expecting a slap, maybe a punch or more twisting his wrist in ways it didn't bend, but a slap was a bit of a low blow. Requiem's slap hadn't been gentle either, the force of it combined with his complete lack of energy drove the redhead to his knees. Lifting a hand he rubbed his cheek glaring up at her. <******** you and dump you? Are you seriously asking me that? It was months before I even got anywhere near your pants, and then when we finally did ********, well let's just say that wasn't exactly everything I was looking forwards to." Honestly he wasn't sure even now who broke up with whom. Maybe he broke up with her when he chose the Pleiades, or maybe she broke up with him when she started throwing beer bottles at him. It was a tough call to make.

It was while he was kneeling on the ground unable to gather the strength to stand back up that he realized that the only way he would ever get out of wherever the hell they were was to answer her questions. "But, if you must know, no I didn't think you were creepy the whole time." He paused, that wasn't quite true. "Well, maybe I did a bit, but it was a quirk. It made you interesting." His hand finally lowered from his cheek and against the skin that wasn't protected by his beard the red mark of her hand print was bright against his skin. "Can I go home now, or do you have more questions?"

Requiem shoved Damian at the chest, but didn't put very much force into the shove. He was an ex-boyfriend, and while he was certainly pissing the living daylights out of her, she didn't want to beat the royal crap out of him. At least, not until all of her questions were answered. Besides, despite his put down of her inexperience, there was a very faint compliment shoved in there that calmed some of her temper.

"Last question, and its a biggie," Requiem said. "How do you know who I am? How did you recognize me as Devi? Did I tell you? Why would I do such a thing?"

The shove set Damian off balance and the redhead had to reach back and brace his hand on the floor to keep himself from falling back on his a**. Once he had regained his balance he sat up just slightly on his knees, but the movement was slow. He was incredibly tired and a nap was starting to sound like an amazing way to spend his time. But his nap would have to wait, his interrogator still had questions for him.

He wasn't expecting the questions she threw at him and at first he was at a loss at how to answer. Obviously he couldn't tell her he was Orion, giving away his identity to a girl who was now the enemy was almost certain death. His groggy mind scrambled as quickly as it could for an explanation. When he finally came up with one it was extremely thin, and not very creative, but it was the best he could do under the circumstances.

He stared up at her as he spoke, doing his best to make the lie convincing. "You saved me, a couple months after we started dating. We were in the park and some-" He caught himself before he said the word Nega, a civilian wouldn't know that term. "jackass crazy guy in a weird outfit attacked us." He paused, it was difficult playing as if he was normal, as if he wouldn't have been able to protect himself and her. "He knocked me down and then you suddenly changed, trapped the guy in a coffin and dragged me out of there." The whole story was a fabrication, but he hoped her memory was spotty enough that he could get away with it. He wasn't sure what he was going to do if this didn't work. He definitely didn't want to be stuck in mirrorspace forever.

Requiem was puzzled as Damian told her the story. She certainly had no recollection of it, but there were so many other memories that were hazy or otherwise completely missing that she had no evidence to call him out on lying to her. By all logical arguments, she had no choice but to buy it, despite its unfamiliarity.

"Huh," she crossed her arms. "Fine then. I think we're all out of questions. Now, what shall I actually do with you?"

"Kill you?" she paused, testing his reaction. "No, I won't do that. That's too mean. Instead, I'll just..." She called out a mirrorwraith to begin the energy draining process, intending to drain him of his energy for easier transport when she drops him back off at his apartment.

Even as she proclaimed she was out of questions it seemed there was just one more left. And really it was the most important one. At the mention of being killed Damian's lips pressed together in a tight line, and he stared at her. Honestly he didn't think she'd kill him, but then again he hadn't thought she'd be the type to kidnap him through a mirror either.

When she decided against killing him he relaxed just slightly, but still kept his guard, there were a lot of things that were worse than death. Luckily for him having his energy drained was not one of them, but he was getting incredibly tired of the sensation. He was already so tired that he couldn't manage to get even a single word out before he slumped to the ground unconscious.
