Dear Diary,
Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down. And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there,
And I'll tell you how I became the princess of a town called Destiny City.
In west of the city I was born and raised,
On the cemetery is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool,
And shooting some movies outside of school
When a couple of Negas who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one lil fight and my parents nearly died
And said, "We're moving in with your grandma in Boca."
I begged and pleaded with her day after day,
But we changed plans to live with our friend Iva
They gave me a kiss and then they got on the plane,
I put on my iPod and said I might as well kick it.
...I can't write this anymore.
I can't rhyme or write song lyrics for s**t, but I really do feel like the Fresh Prince(ss) of Bel-Air right now. I haven't written anything in this diary for a damned long time, so for records, here's the rundown in non lyrical form:
Mom and dad have moved out of the city. I'm still not sure what to feel about this. I miss them, I miss them greatly even though they are just a phone call away. But on the other hand, they are infinitely safer in Boca Raton with grandma than they will ever again be here in Destiny City. Tnznt made sure of that.
They wanted to make me go with them. My feelings weren't ambiguous about that. I panicked, and sought help from friends in higher places, and Iva convinced my parents to let me move in with them instead so that I can finish off my school year at Meadowview and attend university in the city. Its great, too, because I'll be living with Fallon who I've been spending a lot of time with in certain extra-circular activities.
I just finished unpacking today, and this place is amazing. I thought Iva was going to be around, but it looks like its just Fallon and I, which is great - feels a little liberating to not have any adults about. There's a little suite area of the house that Fallon let me move into, as long as I keep all my furniture contained into there (she was very very very clear on the division between my territory and her territory). I didn't have much stuff to begin with, but its beautiful here.
Time to find a good hiding place for the diaries.
note to self: write more often!
