There was a great deal of thinking to be done after the meeting. There was information to be gathered fragments of a great youma to be found, and an angry queen to worry about.
He had a great deal on his mind, he was sure he had upset Dahlia with his comments, but she had weighed in on something with half the information needed. Yes, he had given Lyra another chance, she had been forgiven, by him at least, for a great many sins she had performed before joining them.
But in a way she was separate from the Dark Moon, he knew and trusted in her transition, he saw none of the marks of change upon them, no strange split or crack of the skin. No star seed peering out from dark depths. A small wonder then that they were so hesitant to trust this change of alliances.
Yet he was expected to lead trusting soldiers into that silvered glass and into what he could only hope was space, and not some elaborate trap like the ones they had laid before. But Tanzanite trusted them…. Or at least if she did not do that she had agreed to work with them.
There must surely be something that had lead to such an outcome, and that was half the reason he had not been as volatile as some of the other officers in the meeting. Hematite for example; He had never quite –liked- the man. But as much as he hated the Blood Moon Court and everything it had done, the attack on tanzanite had been too much in his mind.
True in many ways he viewed her as more youma than human as well, but it hadn’t removed her memories, or the tortures she had suffered. He felt they had been, diminished by the words of the young Charonite-look alike. “As though she would have accepted that without some overwhelming reason, she’s to pure a fighter for that.” He muttered to the dusky evening, its heavy overlay of rain that was not quite ready to fall. It made his knuckles ache with the damp, though perhaps not as much as they once had.
“Will people even follow me?” he asked the darkness. “…what right have I to ask them but for the honor of being trusted by her to lead?”

Super Sailor Requiem was out on the streets of Destiny City. It was late, and she hadn't spent much time walking about so freely in the city in this form. She spent most of her time in the disguise of her new civilian identity, Tova Katz, traveling about the city and jotting down locations of various mirrors so that she can most easily plan her travels throughout the city. She spent time as Sailor Requiem still, of course, draining energy from the civilians with her handy mirrorwraiths; but it had been a while since she simply walked about - she had much to think about after the meeting with the Negaverse.
Sure, she had stepped out of line, and once Ares took her back into mirrorspace, Requiem received a much-deserved punch to the face from her Dark Princess. She should not have talked down to Tanzanite and disrespected the Negaverse in such a manner, but she simply couldn't resist it in that moment.
A familiar tingle in the back of her neck drew her attention - a power signature was near. From her experience, it was one of a Negaverse General. But who? Her curiosity got the best of her as she began to search until she found a blue-haired boy in a mask - undoubtedly the source of the power signature. He seemed familiar, but why?
She leaned against the wall of a building, her arms crossed and pose nonchalant.
"Greetings," she cooed to the General in a non-threatening manner.

“Ah…” He said eyeing her, studying her pose and her manners with a calculating gaze that spoke of familiarity, if only slight. “Requiem.” He gave her a polite nod, a sort of bow that was only just an inclination of the head. It was, in itself polite enough if reserved and perhaps a bit suspicious of her motives.
“I heard you were quite passionate about the white moon, and well versed in the uses of a shovel. I’m surprised to see that you and your Princess have seen the ‘light’ as it were.” He approached her carefully. She might only be a super senshi, and therefor a rank below him but he didn’t want to risk a fight with so much at stake. He might have every reason to distrust them, to be suspicious of their actions but by GOD he was going to keep a level head. The future of the whole kingdom might, and likely did, stand on the knifepoint of this uneasy alliance.
“How might I help you?”

Requiem grinned. Her shovel-wielding encounter with Tanzanite had been both a high and low point in her past year, but it was a thought that often brought her great comfort when she wished ill upon her. Tanzanite may now have to be an ally of hers, but that didn't mean she would simply let go of the pleasurable thoughts of beating her with a shovel.
"It unfortunately took more than words to convince me to see the light," Requiem explained. In her olden days as a naive Senshi of the Blood Moon Court she had a lengthy discussion with one of the Negaverse's corrupt Senshi, Alkaid. They were incapable of seeing eye to eye, despite their efforts to explain the other's side. It wasn't until her baptism into mirrorspace that she was fully able to see the truth. "I hope that it is understood that I had lost a great deal in the transition of becoming a Dark Mirror Senshi, in becoming one of your allies. That is not something that I take lightly, and neither should you. It was a great sacrifice, a noble one. I am able to see what needs to be done now."
"That is enough about me, my reputation appears to precede me anyways," she changed the topic. "But who, may I ask, are you? A General, I presume?"

“General Zinkenite.” He said almost dismissive. If she remembered him or didn’t he wasn’t sure he could quite care. “If you have lost as much as our ‘Corrupted’ senshi did, then I doubt that you’ll remember me. I am not, the most impressive figure the Dark Kingdom has to offer.”
He considered for a moment. “Do me the favor of joining me in my patrol then? I aim to help make sure our energy quota doesn’t fall, if that offends you then please let me know, but I’m curious about your ‘organization’, I wonder if you wouldn’t mind speaking of it. What do you stand for, what are your goals and the like. Do you feel of the Dark Kingdom as you once did? Or are we… ‘Acceptable’ allies now, common bedmates. I think if I will be working with you as closely as I have been assigned it would be a very good idea that we understand where we stand with each other.

"Ah, General Zinkenite," she said. She wasn't aware that she was in his presence, she had yet to have met the General, but only had heard his name. "I was unaware of who you are, I apologize for my ignorance. I also apologize for whatever pain or agonies the Blood Moon Court has done to you. Take comfort in knowing that it was not at my hands."
She was aware of what he was alluding to - he had been chosen to lead his agents onto her turf, her planet. It was one of the many sacrifices she had been making, but as long as they did not destroy its remains she supposed it wouldn't matter.
"Of course I feel differently about the Negaverse now than I once had," she explained. "We are allies, but we do have different goals. You wish for the protection of Earth, and as do I. I have many connections here, but my home is Requiem. While you wish to eliminate the Senshi to meet your goal, we wish to have those foolish White Moon Senshi join us - the Dark Mirrors, and then return to our planets. Is that enough information for you?"
She wasn't exactly willing to give up much more information - and wasn't sure what other information may be desired, but she was trying to meet his requests to the best of her ability. Of course, there were some secrets that she was unable to tell him, but those didn't concern him nor the Negaverse anyway.

“There will never be such a thing as ‘enough’ information.” He replied with a knowing smile, it wasn’t so much that there were daggers in his eyes as sharp needles of thought, delicate and potentially painful weaving small pieces together into a tapestry of plans and schemes.
“I look forward to seeing your planet Requiem, I assume that that is where we will go after all, though I lack sufficient information at this time to make that any more than an assumption.” He nodded conceding the point that he might in fact have failed on that front. “I myself, don’t hold a grudge for anything that was done to me by the Blood Moon Court, my mission was simple enough, the most I begrudge was a mockery, but that was dealt with.”
He waved his hand offering no further details as to the nature of the mockery or who might have been its source. “Will you tell me of your world?” It was a simple enough request. On his own he had no hope of reaching it, only Ares and your well placed mirror could grant him access, so perhaps for once he had asked something that would cause no harm in answering.

"I can only tell you as much as I know, which is very little," Requiem explained. She had seldom visited her planet, and the most vivid memory she had from her trips was one of the coital variety with an unknown man. "The planet is barren, dull and dark. The ground looks like just dirt, but be careful where you step - all along the planet's surface are bones sticking out from the ground. There's flower fields of bone and a tower made of skulls. There was also a stairwell leading into the underground - do not go in there, please. I don't know what is in there myself, and I don't want others snooping around in it without my knowledge."
She felt that her request was fairly reasonable. "Now I must ask of you, General Zinkenite. Where do you stand with the Dark Mirror Court? Where do you stand with Tanzanite? Are you with us or against us?"
"And don't lie to me, please," she said firmly. Her lip twitched into a dark smile with a soft giggle. Her eyes glared at him as she whispered, a curled finger pressed against her lips. "Want to know a secret? When someone lies to me, I bury them."
She giggled some more.

“Requiem,” He said drawing to a stop as she giggled and glared at him. He did not continue for a moment, instead he simply arrested her with an impassive bright pale blue stare. “I would like you to consider something before you make veiled threats again, to me, or any of mine.” His voice was somber, like someone lecturing a class of students who would neither be still nor take their seats for a lesson to begin.
“Though I would admit, a level of disgust at the behaviors expressed by the Members of the Blood moon Court both past and present, a disgust with the idea of prolonged torture… I want you to realize that I am not above it.” His voice dropped to a near conspiratorial tone. “I have lost my temper once, I surrendered to the deepest and most grotesque wants to have ever filtered through my mind because there was a senshi who threatened someone to whom I felt great loyalty.”
He tilted his head slightly. “I want you to know that while I would prefer never to abuse a pneumatic nail gun again to terrify, injure and otherwise briefly incapacitate a senshi again, I am quite certain that with a matter of hours planning or less I could arrange for something equally painful, yet infinitely less ‘messy’ along with a place to store whatever might be left of the body. I would like this alliance to serve us all… kindly do not instigate another war that will leave all of us, both your side AND mine, crushed under the boot heels of the senshi with the need to prove yourself dangerous.”

"Likewise," Requiem held her ground. "I would like to not have to feel the need to make threats, but from my experience with you Negaverse agents, it is the only way to get any truths out of you. I do not wish for war between us anymore than you do, but I do not doubt that there are agents who wish to see this alliance fail and see us Dark Mirror Senshi dead."
"I am trusting you with a lot, General Zinkenite. I am trusting you with my planet. Forgive any roughness that may accompany my wariness," she spat. Her apology was far more rhetorical than it was sincere - she saw no reason to apologize. In her mind, she had done nothing wrong but conveyed her seriousness. "We have an understanding, then? We both want peace?"
She extended her hand for a shake to seal the deal.

“We in turn are trusting you with lives you once tried to ruin… be calm requiem.” He said and offered her a hand with his eyes still as cold as glaciers. “We all serve chaos, and I hope that this tense alliance between us will be easier with time. For our sakes, and those who serve with us, let’s try and be examples for the cause.”
His eyes glittered as he assessed her manner, “It’s high time there were senshi of some sense in this world after all, more than those few who have joined the Dark Kingdom. Let us hope you represent just that.”

"Don't hope that I do, just trust me when I say that I do," Requiem grinned. A glimmer of moonbeam in the alleyway caught her eye. An abandoned mirror, certainly large enough for her to fit into. "And I trust you to hold the same regard amongst the Negaverse."
As she said this, she took a step forward and gave the General a light, friendly pat on the shoulder. "It was a pleasure meeting you General Zinkenite, but I have duties elsewhere I must attend to."
She approached the mirror and walked into it - a cool splash against her body as she crossed through the dimensions into mirrorspace. It was an indescribable feeling, and one that she would never quite get used to. Once inside the mirror, she turned around, her presence still visible in the glass of the mirror.
"We'll keep in touch, General," she said as her voice and image faded out of the mirror, her body fully submerging into mirrorspace, leaving the General alone in the alleyway with nothing but his own reflection in the mirror.

He gazed for a long time at the mirror after she had vanished from its reflection. There was a strong temptation to break it even now, a cold coil in his gut that twisted up with everything else that sat like a cold poison there as he prayed for a mission that would go well. He had to lead them to victory… he had to, or he would die.
“I’m sure you will…” He said at last to her last statement. They would keep in touch indeed. Pray Chaos that it was not yet another war.
