Character Approval Named after a rather unique checkered lily, Fritillaria Meleagris, Frit for short, came to love the flower. She immediately fell in love with plants and gardening in general. Although, unfortunately, without much knowledge she tends to kill whatever plant she claims as her own. Frit is often found covered in dirt and plant parts. She wants to know how plants work, so she can often be seen digging them up and pulling them apart. Frit is not exactly kind to her plants. The imp sees plants as more of a puzzle then a thing to be nurtured, and thus seeks out knowledge scientifically. What would help a plant grow better? Lemonade, or water? Do plants like blankets and plushies? Or do they grow better planted in dirt and soil? There are so many questions young Frit wants the answer to, so she seeks them out as best she can, usually in her own unique ways.
Frit does not know her true, genetic family, but she is fine with it. She grew up in her own little bubble, only vaguely aware of other freshlings, or the adults who cared for her. This imp/demon hybrid believes in self sufficiency, and self awareness. She will watch others, sometimes writing down what social interactions they have, and then what their results are. She uses this information to navigate her way around others, and its something she is constantly updating. As a junior, Frit found she became a bit more interested in those beings outside her own self, and has since begun to make friends. For better or for worse, the little nightmare still approaches every friend as a science project, and makes sure to record and analise what happened and what she has learned.
Inquisitive Frit is always curious, always interested in "what if"s and "why"s. This helps her focus on her experiments and knowledge gaining, but also is one of the only reasons she seeks company from others. Despite her wariness of others, they have their own brains brimming with knowledge, and Frit wants at it. This leads to her to bother with social ques and things she usually finds tedious. Plants don't care if Frit talks nice to them, so are Frit's preferred form of company. Negligent Its not that Frit is malicious, she just forgets that her plants sometimes rely on her for survival. The imp tried her best to make sure others are self sustaining, so her negligence is not harmful, like putting plants out where the rain can find them, but that only works so well. Frit's negligence is especially harmful to her friends. She forgets that others may need steady attention and social interactions to remain friends. Often she is oblivious to if her negligence has hurt someone's feelings, and will pick up conversations from where they last left off, even if that happened to be 4 months ago. Possessive Frit loves what she obtains on her own, weather it be knowledge, plushies, or cookies. It can be especially difficult to get her to share her hard won knowledge she gets from her "experiments". Its probably the imp in her.

Class Instructions: "It is time for an assessment of what it is you have all learned." Rules: Roll one 100-sided die, if you roll 35 or above you passed! If you roll 34 or below you may roll again until you pass. Submission: 83 Frit rolled her eyes up. What she learned? So much. Just SO MUCH. (Sing the fallowing to Part Of Your World) There was fractions, and exponents and decimals. Imaginary numbers galore. You want negatives? Ive got an infinity! (song over) But there is something missing, something more. Ive looked and ive found a whole world of new things. Did you know that for triangles, a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ? and the method with witch the nightmare that had discovered that was simply amazing. Frit could read it for days and night, enchanted by the rules, proofs, and realities of math.
Class Instructions: Hunter's Jubilee is upon us! Juniors will write a short essay of at least 150 words about what the celebrations of Hunter's Jubilee mean to them. Does their family celebrate it, or was it something new to them when they moved to Asphodel Gardens? Why is it important for us to celebrate all kinds of love? Submission: Frit truthfully did not know why this Hunter's Jubilee was a thing. Love? Well Frit loved learning, which is what they were supposed to be doing in language arts class, not talking about feelings. Well, its not like Frit had a choice, so she hunkered down and though. She didn't think it was "love", but all of her experiments needed attention. That was like love, right? They needed watering, weeding, tending, all of the important things. If they didn't her experiments would all be for naught. Yes, that was it, Frit "loved" in the way of how she kept the plants alive, watched other people to learn which social conventions to use to get what she wanted, and she "loved" learning new and exciting information. It was all so amazing when something surprised her, like, did you know that Cherubs think their ears used to be wings? Fascinating.
Class Instructions: Have your student state how they figure out and respect personal space with their friends, family, or strangers! Repeating methods is fine! Submission: Frit nodded sagely. Personal space was a big deal. See she had preformed an experiment on this topic when she was a small freshling. She had planted two plants in two pots, making sure that everything was the same between the two. Then, Frit kept one plant on her bedside tabel, and cuddled the other when she fell asleep. The cuddled plant had a very hard time. It was looking dirt, its leaves were falling off, and inevitably, it died. With that Frit declared that space was important, and physical contact was just a death sentence.
Class Instructions: Look in the Races thread in the "World of Below" subforum and find a courting practice that your kid wants to talk about! Post a small RP response (100 words) with your kid stating which courting practice they chose, and how it works! As well as why they chose that practice. Repeats are a-okay! Submission: Frit frowned. Courting rituals? I mean, i guess that's important... but really, nightmares don't need to do all this "courting" in order to reproduce. They simply imbue a stone, and then it grows and all is well. Fine, frit looked at the entry for how imps did things. She was half imp, half demon, so its good to learn, right? Frit smiled, thats more like it! Imps were more into having multiple partners, presumably to find one with the right mental, emotional and physical attributes that one would want their liniege to have. That was the right way, to choose on attributes, on something like gifts or emotions.
Class Instructions: Generate a random number between 1 and 118. The higher you get, the better you did! Submission: Frit LOVED science. It was about the quest for truth! The quest to find out things that others may or may not have already found out. Frit wanted to learn it all. She did know that she could not just believe everything that others had done, she needed to preform experiments and quests for knowledge by herself. A nightmare always learns better when they do something their self, so of course she wanted that experience for herself. She wanted to learn the higher truths, the things people thought were unknowable, or mysterious.
Class Instructions: Rules: 1. Roll 1d20, this number determines how well your Character(s) manages to perform their dance number with all of their peers watching! This does not effect whether you pass or not, simply helps with your post! 2. Post a small RP response in thread with your Nightmare/Daydream dancing along with the group! 3. You can use an NPC in your post or pair up with another Nightmare/Daydream if you like! 4. Please quote me in your post! Submission: ( 2 ) Frit was not really what one would call a fan of dancing. She was much more interested in the hard sciences and observations that other classes offered. Tho she did need to learn more about this "social" thing she was supposedly missing out on. The nightmare found a partner, and was too busy writing notes about what her partner was doing to really dance. In the end, frit was left standing still in the middle of the dance floor, writing in her notebook.

Abrus works at the Carnival, and is very dedicated to his act and performance. Carasol Kirin, act: Sword swallowing
Serious Abrus takes his act seriously. What he does can be very dangerous if someone inexperienced attempts to mimic him. This seriousness is not just for the Carnival, he believes that there is a time for fun, and a time for business. If something has his attention he will treat it seriously. x Pompous Abrus is a fine specimen of a Kirin, maybe even the most fine of his species. No that was pushing it, all kirin in general were just amazing, and Abrus is sure of this. No other race can compare, all others are inferior. Abrus is harsh to judge, and rarely admits that anyone other than a full breed kirin could really do anything decent in their lives. x Perfectionist Words Words
Class Instructions: Today, we're going to focus on choreography. Namely, you'll be in charge! I would like you to choreograph as many pieces as you can this month. It could be solo pieces or group, as long as you perform them. Oh, and another thing, please have the dances have some inspiration from your life! Roll one 10-sided dice. That's how many dances you were able to choreograph in the month's time. Please describe your dances and inspirations in 100 words or more. If you want to clarify different aspects of the dance in a written form as a reflection piece, you may as well. Submission: (Rolled a 6) Abrus smiled to himself. 6 dances. Thats how many wonderful things he had brought, planned, and executed for the world to admire. His first started out simple, but then ramped up with the music until it was fast, intense, and you could see it was difficult to keep up with. When it felt like the dancer was going simply too fast to continue, the music froze, and the dance ended his performance in an elegant bow. Abrus put a waltz or two in his performance, for all those who preferred the classical dances. On his 5th dance tho, Abrus managed to find an electric swing song that really made the watcher want to get up and dance as well. His moves and pacing fit perfectly with the music, seeming to draw the audience onto the dance floor to join.
Class Instructions: Your character will be performing a short dance routine to show in front of the rest of the class! This is simply to work on the basic building blocks of creating a routine, while gaining some constructive critique! { as well as maybe help those who have stage fright get used to performing in front of a crowd } Find a song that your character is going to dance to. Roll a 100 sided die to determine how well the performance went. Higher the number, the better! Write a small response on how your character did, at least describing their performance and style of dance Submission: 78 Character Name: Abrus Song:vHÆLOS - "Oracle" Entry: Abrus turned on the music, and he was in the zone. The nightmare loved this song. Elegant, yet still had a modern beat to move to. The nightmare sang under his breath along with the words, as he stretched, spun, and moved to the beat. In the slower parts of the song he focused on his body, keeping his hoofs still as his body slowly rolled to the music. When the music kicked it up he made use of his hoofs, essentially tap dancing. Abrus finally stopped, one ear flicking as a drop of sweat rolled down. Breathing hard, the nightmare bowed, obviously pleased with his work.
Class Instructions: Discuss how music can effect the mood of a situation. You may use general songs you might hear on the radio, or movie soundtracks to convey your point. Submission: Abrus tittered and set his pencil to the paper. Music didn't just affect the mood, it was the mood. It was the beat to witch all life ran by. In a silent environment there could be no such mood at all! Hence why sentient creatures had minds that were always full of tunes, songs, and background music to live their lives by. It was one of the- no, the most important thing in life! Abrus could hear his own background music, and smirked. It was classical. He was a refined kirin, of course he would have classical as his character song.
Class Instructions: Roll a 10 sided die, and have your character write a summary of the genre from the list above. They can write about anything they want about the genre, so long as they provide a small summary that defines the style. Submission: Genre:10. Drum and Bass Entry: Ah yes, Drum and Bass, one of the fine modern styles of music. The forfront of all modern musics, drum and bass paved the way for other types, including breakcore, ragga jungle, hardstep, darkstep, techstep, neurofunk, ambient drum and bass, liquid funk, deep, drumfunk, funkstep, sambass, dnbnoise, and drill 'n' bass. The style has established itself around the world. Drum and bass has influenced many other genres like hip hop, big beat, dubstep, house, trip hop, ambient music, techno, rock and pop. Drum and bass could at one time be defined as a strictly electronic musical genre with the only "live" element being the DJ's selection and mixing of records during a set, but has since evolved far above this simple definition.

Spell: Circle of Respite (Healing) Bonus: -60 Cost: 15 MP Effect: HP+ ||| MP+ (caster determines how much of the total can be absorbed by each person entering the circle, and whether it is restored to HP or MP; once all of the total has been used up, the circle disintegrates.) Method: Inscription ||| Source: Divine Use: This Healing magic is cast on an area rather than a person. The more potent the caster the wider a circle they can select. Once cast, anyone who enters the space will be rejuvenated. While the amount of health and magic is returns is small, its effects on morale should not be underestimated. By providing a second wind, soothing exhaustion, hunger, or desperation, the Respite offered here enables parties to regroup and coordinate their efforts.
Spell: Charismaster (Emotive) Bonus: -40 Cost: 5 MP Effect: (while this magic doesn't actually affect the ability to act, those watching will find themselves more impressed with those normal actions than they might otherwise have been) Method: Transmutation ||| Source: Divine Use: This magic improves the target's natural appeal, affecting their allure, credibility, magnetism, charm and ability to captivate. Some of the best performers use this magic to ensure they please the crowd, but it has also been used in the past by crooked politicians wishing to whip up the populous to support their goals for power.
Spell: Spell Mimic (Illusions) Bonus: 0 Cost: 5 MP Effect: HP 0 ||| MP 0 (application) Method: Casting ||| Source: Practical Use: This illusion can pretend to be any other magic, except that its physical affects are pure illusion. The more senses a particular Spell would normally effect, the harder the mimic will become. Sometimes, at a glance it is enough to convince or deter another individual regarding a chosen course of action.
Spell: Telekinesis (aether) Bonus: -60 for healing; -35 for attacking Cost: 20 MP Effect: HP+/- (this can be used to help or harm, depending on the caster's application) ||| MP 0 Method: Focus ||| Source: Divine Use: Using energy as a force to grasp and move matter with one's will. The weight and size of the object is directly proportionate to the difficulty of manipulating it. Energy can be used to push, pull, lift or throw things. Targets with their own innate motion are more challenging to overpower and manipulate than stationary ones. Combining this spell with transmutation magics, like Weightless or Gravity, can ease the strain on the caster.
Spell: Triage (healing) Bonus: -60 Cost: 5 MP Effect: HP+ ||| MP 0 Method: Casting ||| Source: Divine Use: This magic can heal illnesses, repair damage to muscle, organ and bone. Unlike Restore, which merely reverts an object or person, Triage does not affect the person's timeline, and enables them to more quickly heal. It can also be used on old wounds to erase scar tissue, or on ailments caused by aging or mutation.
Special Learned Spell: Transform (Aether) Bonus: Cost: 20 MP Effect: HP0 ||| MP 0 Method: Focus ||| Source: Practical Use: The Transformation spell is exclusive to Grimm and Kirin. This spell allows the user to change shape - wargs for Grimm, and equine form for Kirin. Pure Grimm who have trained long enough are able to make a complete transformation, however Half-Grimm hybrids can only change small parts of themselves. Grimm Hybrids that are more than a 50/50 split are unable to use this spell at all. Only Pure Kirin can use this spell, hybrids are unable to transform at all. The transformation leaves the caster physically and mentally exhausted after they have returned to their true form. While in their warg/equine forms, they gain a +10 to damage rolls. Learned Here

Submission: (12) Muridae was in dance class, and as soon as the teacher said "pair up" she knew she was in the wrong class. Really, the nightmare didn't know what she should have expected. Maybe they would have taught her something current, "the shopping cart"? Well it was too late for that now, and Muridae tried not to tear up as she partnered with someone she did not know. Somehow, she managed to dance all right, and was soon done. Muridae scurried back out the class, relief flooding her.
Class Instructions: Using this game, play through to complete all of the tests. Screenshot your final score and post it in the thread, anything over 70% passes automatically Include a roleplay response of your nightmare turning in their assignment with a description of what it was If your final score was below 70%, make sure that your turning in post is over 150 words and that will bump up your score to pass. If your final score was below 70% and you want your Nightmare to fail on purpose, keep your roleplay response under 150 words Submission: Final Score:
Roleplay Response: Muridae started to sweat as she got a low score on the first one. This was haaaard! Could she even do this? The nightmare slogged through it, growing more and more worried. Finally, she finished, and a tear of joy was shed. She had passed.
