Muridae Roll one 100-sided die, if you get 1-25: You've predicted something negative happening in the next week.. The nightmare looked into her cup sadly. Something negative? That was not what she wanted to see, quite frankly. She thought about it, what could go wrong? Well that was one can of worms she wished she had not opened. For the rest of the class the girl was paralyzed, her imagination pulling up all the awful things that could happen.
Abel smirked subtly to herself. She believed that divination was a great way to make money, but she didn't personally believe in that form of magic. Of course, people demanded to know why she could disbelieve in its power when the world was so infused in magic. Abel just felt you could read anything you wanted out out of scrying bones or reading tea leaves. Careful reading of the customer, and you could really sell a believable book.
Abel referenced her book and stared in to the bottom of her cup, the dregs of her tea left behind as the leaves settled at the bottom, forming a crown shape.
"The symbol of supremacy, denoting ascendancy over all difficulties and elevation to positions of high degree, with increase of power and influence. What you have in hand will lead to success. Some will achieve greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them. In all cases there is success but with increased responsibility." Abel recited the words from the book, finger pressed to the page. Hmmn ... well, that didn't sound too bad! Seemed like a good omen to her!
Cain was not inclined towards divination, as much as the subject brought such fascination to him. He had done everything he was supposed to, left just a little liquid at the bottom of his cup, and gave the tea leaves a small swirl before letting them settle at the bottom of his rather regal looking tea cup. His twin sister seemed rather pleased by her results. Would Cain receive good news as well?
... Cain squinted in to his cup. It ... just ... looked like. Tea leaves? "Hmmn ... " Would he lose marks for this? Cain loved tea, and loves watching the way tea leaves expanded and shifted colour after steeping, but ... it seemed he was incapable of reading fortunes from a cup.
Soft, smooth lips parted as Laviticus peered in to his cup. Staring back at him was a flower, and Laviticus knew right away that a flower couldn't possibly be a bad omen. Flipping through his book for reference, it became apparent how symbolic the flower symbol was of his present life.
"A flower is a very positive omen! It speaks of happiness, fun times, success and prosperity. Dreams will come true and ambitions will be realized. To see a flower in your teacup is connected with having joy. Get ready to enjoy the conveniences of your present lifestyle because this can also be connected to romantic expressions. As a result, you will encounter a few trustworthy friends as well as being given sound advice in connection with a business. This particular symbol signifies satisfaction and sweetness." Laviticus paused, eyes scanning further down the page before reading on.
"Several flowers represents enjoyment. The particular flower may have it's own tea leaf reading. This omen is also associated with how you are feeling with regards to taking on something new. undertaking as well as activities quickly. Usually, this is an optimistic omen. It's also vital that you recognize that other people usually takes pleasure inside a journey that you will soon begin.
A flower with six petals implies satisfaction and also admiration; to be close to the edge of the rim represents a desire for ladies or perhaps being close to a mother figure.
Flowers are given as a token of appreciation, or praise or love. Also in loving memory to the dead. Hence we take them as the symbolism of love, honour, esteem, and favours.
At the bottom of the cup the more sinister interpretations attach to these beautiful gifts of nature and would appear to indicate at least a serious illness. But, when the flowers are clear and crisp, good fortune should be near at hand, happiness in love and marriage."
Marriage~? Laviticus practically gushed, dissolving in to a girlish giggle.
"A dart in the tea leaf reading is related to anger. It is somewhat related to the nature of Dagger but it means showing some action from a distance. In ancient tea leaf dictionary entries it means bad news from abroad, and foreign affairs are likely to affect your interests. Look well ahead and be on alert." Greeeat, Rajna was not looking forward to whatever that meant. A dart was not something Rajna ever expected to see in the bottom of her cup. Could she just ... forget it existed for a while? Maybe?

Your post was not filled out so I couldn't pass you this round:
Luno stared at the cup, frowning at the leaves. There... No. It didn't make any sense. Something bad was going to happen in the next week? Well, the only thing that was coming up was graduation. Frowning, Luno decided it was better to not give too much stock into the leaves. There were many factors in how they worked, though he was certain that something bad would happen. Perhaps not with graduation, but... In another way. Shaking his head, he stood and washed his cup out before placing it to the side.

Kochab insists that meditation is the key to sensing the arcane energy that fills the world. Without the ability to clear one's mind, opening it to the many possibilities that Divination can bring is impossible. Kochab has assigned everyone a journaling assignment in which everyone must write down their experience with mastering the art of meditation. Your student must detail their progress throughout the week.
Write a 250 word minimum response from the perspective of your student's experience with the assignment.
NOTE: Roll 1 d100, if you roll 40 or above, you may add a +5 Buff to your student's Arcane Archetype spell types! - You do not have to do this portion of the assignment if you do not want to.
Prompt Response: Meditation.
Jane awkwardly sat in her seat as she tried wrapping her brain around the subject. Her brain was always thinking even though she wasn't the type to talk much. How was she going to be able to get her brain to quiet down in order to do this meditation thing? The teacher said that her sitting position was fine--she didn't have to sit with her legs crossed and arms outstretched, fingers clasped together. All she did was have to relax and clear her mind.
Easier said than done when there were a bunch of people around her. How could she relax when they could possibly come up behind her and touch her? How could she relax when she had to close her eyes. She could care less if someone was judging her. They just better not touch her.
Gulping, she tried to untense her shoulders. Maybe she should focus on the seat below her. It was---well. It was solid. Hard. Kind of uncomfortable if she sat in it for too long. The back of the chair barely touched her back. At least her feet were able to plant firmly on the ground--wait. She wasn't supposed to be thinking about things. Her mind should be blank. The first few days, she couldn't do it and gave up after the first few minutes. It was impossible, she was going to fail this assignment.
After the fourth day, it finally clicked after a long day of school. She knew she had to give it at least one more shot. It was magical. She sat there and decided to focus on her breathing, and gradually, the rest of herself relaxed. She felt more...at peace with life. Still exhausted, but it was better.
