Darrah rolled his eyes and huffed at Nasrin. Whatever. The guy was totally copying him. But anyway. He left and tried another trick or treat booth. Finally he got something sweet! A cone of cotton candy and another little bat plushie. He grinned happily and munched the fluffy sweetness. "What'd you get this time, Nas?"
Nasrin followed after Darrah at a much slower pace, but he still caught up with his friend at the next booth. He had already had a cone of cotton candy, so when he won a treat he picked a pretty neon green bracelet. "Look for yourself," he said and held his wrist up to show Darrah.

Hadrian wandered around a little, not quite sure what he wanted to do next. He had given that gummy poo a try and it was actually pretty tasty. It got him some weird looks though...

Ylli couldn't help it. He was having such good luck so far, and the next booth gave him cotton candy! He was going to be soooo hyper later...
Aurelia giggled and walked with him to the food vendors, looking at all the kinds of food and feeling her stomach growl. She was practically drooling by the wonderful smells. "Mmmmm....I wanna try that pasta, those steamed veggies, the mac & cheese....Oh and some of that bbq meat, please!" She smiled over at Meadow as he said he was tired of candy. "Yeah, I mean candy is great but it's good to eat something else that's tasty." She giggled a bit at the mention of the candy poo. "I know, it looks so gross! I don't know why people are throwing them everywhere." The vendor handed her the to-go container that had her food and Aurelia paid with a thank you, the vendor giving her a cute paper ghost as a little trinket. "Hehe! Look at it's face!"

Iolanthe went to play another game, this one a ring toss that she felt she had a fair chance at winning. She aimed carefully and managed to land a few of the rings on the bottles, the vendor impressed and handed her the bat plushie that was her prize. They also gave her one of those popcorn gloves to go with it.
Kohaku wandered around to find a place to sit for a while and let Seeker rest, their feet also hurting after being on them for a while. They found a bench and sat themselves upon it, picking up Seeker and putting her on his lap so they could pet her. They were relaxing quite nicely when Raisin climbed out of the bucket and wandered off for a bit. He came back with a bag of candy corn that was attacked to a little spider plushie, putting it into the bucket for his new master. He was good for finding such a nice present, right?
Chidori had her new wisp friend sitting on her shoulder while and her group wandered towards the games, some of them deciding to play a couple. They looked interesting and she watched for a bit to see how they were played, deciding that she'd give it a try. She was given some balls to throw at bottle towers, the kumiho trying but missing many times until the last one. Finally she managed to knock one over and was given a popcorn glove and a cute skeleton plushie along with it. This was definitely a different sort of celebration but....not in a bad way.
Even Ryker's sweet tooth had its limit, and when Ryker went searching the tables while his girls checked out another booth. He found bracelets this time and bought one, sliding it on his wrist. "What do you think, Effie?" he asked when his daughter came up behind him.
"Agh, I'd swear you were Hallowed with eyes on the back of your head if I weren't sure you had super sonic hearing instead," she teased as she leaned against her daddu, peering at his bracelet. "It's cute. But mine's cuter," she grinned and held up her wrist with the pumpkin bracelet.
"Daddu, I dunno what this is, but it looks pretty nifty. We can keep it, right?" Parfait asked as she held up the skull dripping with blood red candle wax.

Bobbidi laughed as she got Nastee Gum as her 'prize' for a trick or treat booth. She'd have to keep that in mind. maybe she and her sister could have a trick or treat feature in their joke shop all year long. That could be something fun...
Jiang watched as a vespercat wandered up to his brother and dropped something in his hand. Of course it would go up to Kaito...he was the nicer of the twins. He sighed and snagged himself another bracelet.
Kaito leaned down to pet the vespercat that brushed against his leg and laughed at the rock it spit out in his hand. "Thank you, I think." He shrugged and tossed the rock into his bucket before catching up to his twin,. "Hey, that's a pretty bracelet, Jiji!"

Darrah wasn't sure what it was about these stupid little bat plushies, but they were incredibly adorable and he seemed to be amassing a small hoard of them. He narrowed his eyes as Nasrin came up to him having won a similar plushie, again. "Are you sure you're not copying me?"
"I'm sure! I just really like these bats. They're cute, aren't they?" Nasrin giggled and clutched his plushies to his chest.

Hadrian stretched, getting a little sleepy and he was not a fan of that. He took another bite of his sugar skull to rev up his engines and looked around for something else to occupy his time with. He needed something else to do because he didn't want to go home yet.

Ylli's teeth were aching a little from all the sweets he'd been eating. Insteadof getting candy or sweets from his next trick or treat win, he picked out a bracelet and slipped it on his wrist.
Well Mai says I have a lot but really I only have um…” Vanna trailed off. How many did he have. It wasn't like it was a huge number that he had to worry about. “four, or I guess five including this guy. I know a couple people that have like triple that amount.” He then looked around the place. Well it wasn’t the best place to duck into but it would have to work at the moment. “ah… I’d offer but never did click with divination or the like. Always kept getting answers that were totally off the mark.” ---------------------------------------------- “According to this pamphlet it’s a haunted house thing. So I guess this is a pretty huge tent. I know some schools will put it in a tent or something of the like when they can’t get a building. It looks pretty empty so I would say they are between tours or on a lunch break or something… although why they’re using real bird skulls is beyond me. As for reading fortunes, tea leaves are way better.” Mai teased trying not to think to hard at all the macabre objects in this room, which was how she had come across that pamphlet she was trying to focus on.
----------------------------------------------- “well at least we’re away from the crowd” Ren stated mostly staying put. The place was pretty dark for him and so he was having a hard time seeing. If they were using real bones, he definitely didn’t want to see what other types of things were in this room. However it looked like the nine were listening in because right after he had thought about the lack of light a wisp flew around his head and booped his noise. One of the familiars moved to bop it back and the wisp moved like it was laughing before diving into Ren's bag ------------------------------------------------------------ “yeah we just have somewhat weak ankles that get whacked out occasionally. I’ll be fine. As for being prepared well Samhain wants to be doctor and so we know life can present you with dangerous challenges so he likes to just carry the items around with him. We often don’t carry around as much as we did during the forest though” Salem replied. He had to turn away when she suddenly pulled out a plushie to keep from laughing. Festivals were strange things indeed. “I’ll be good to go. The brace is on, and that’ll keep my foot from turning the wrong way” Salem answered.
She nodded. "I think Samhain said something like that. He had extra supplies because it was a weekend trip, or something like that. I admit though, you two are the only one... uh... ones? Anyways, besides you, I don't know anyone who carries around ankle braces." She supposed it was rather endearing of them. Always being prepared. "Well, if you feel you need a hand, you may lead on me. I wouldn't want your ankle to get worse." She said, gathering up her bucket and starting to head towards the skyfish game. It seemed when she wasn't looking, someone slipped a box of raisins into her bucket.
Kingston:
"A haunted house, hm?" Kingston looked around. He hadn't really noticed it was that dark. "I guess I can see it." He looked around some more, picking up a lollipop. He placed it in his bucket. No one would miss this. "I'm not into divination either. Well, I suppose of the different magics out there, that one is rather theatrical. It could be really fun to do a whole smoke and mirrors sort of reading. Crystal balls, reading the bones or tea leaves... You know, pull out all the stops." He might have been getting a little carried away.
"Anyways, we should get out of here. We're probably not supposed to be in here." He jumped slightly as an orb of light suddenly appeared and seemed to be interested in Ren. "Hey, bright idea there, Ren." He smirked. "Let's find the exit."
Vega:
Vega was playing so many games! He loved this! He stopped and looked around before spotting a candy vendor. He ran over and looked at all the different colored candies. He was distracted looking at all the different colors and shapes that he almost missed the man handing him some free cotton candy. "Thanks mister!" he accepted the treat and skipped away.
Meadow:
Aurelia found a little paper ghost, and he had to admit, it was a cute face. "Yeah, look! I can make that face too!" He scrunched his face up and puckered into fish lips. He couldn't hold in the laughter and broke down into giggles. "Ooooh hey. Hee hee. Your food looks pretty good. Let's see, I think I want the mac and cheese too. And some pizza! And maybe the potato salad! Would it be weird to get the broccoli too?" He was thinking out loud, really. When the food lady handed him his plate, she also handed him a little stuffed bat-like plush. "Whoa! I guess she likes me better." He teased, putting the plush into his basket.
Charon:
The best part about halloween wasn't the candy. At least not for Charon, now that he was a senior. It was the people. He was meeting a lot of students and graduates that he'd never known. He was talking to a really cute girl, and asked her for her number. She handed him a paper ghost and giggled as she ran off. Welp, it wasn't a phone number, but it was super cute.
Keahi:
There was something purple in the grass near by. Keahi wondered if it was another plushie. People had seemed to hidden them everywhere. They were convinced that the plushies were not "lost" or "forgotten" but simply placed around the festivities for anyone to find. Though when they got close, it clearly wasn't a plushie, but a chocolate bar. This was probably dropped by someone, but Keahi placed it in their basket.
Parfait:
The great thing about children is that they are easily amused. Perhaps for Parfait, it was especially true. "OH MY GOODNESS! This is so shiny!" Parfait found a bottle of strange liquid. She picked it up and shook it. "Eeee! It's fizzy! This is amazing!" She put the bottle in her basket. This was going to be a great thing to play with forever!
Fiona:
There was a simple game that looked like fun. It had to do with throwing balls at some jars. Fiona decided to give it a try. She was pretty terrible at it though. But she still got a consolation prize and received a chocolate bat.
Cimara saw the worried look on his wife's face, he didn't like it there one bit, he wanted their family to be happy. Sadly nothing could be perfect if the world was perfect there wouldn't be need for law and Cim would have had to find a new job. Cimara smiled as he watched Aqua give Alshain the plushie. He then picked up a bag of candy to keep for the family for another time. This festival was a toothache waiting to happen with candy all over the place. Cimara kissed Aqua's cheek once she was done giving Alshain the toy and said. "Of course I'll watch the kids and there are caretakers everywhere to help as well, nothing will happen to the children, you go take care of our new additions." Cim said simply, he wasn't worried about taking care of the kids by himself.
Kaimana frowned listening to what Snow had said in response and what the twins had said. Kai shook his head though they were a family, that's what mattered right?? Kai grinned at Snow and poked his side. "Way to butter mommy up so you can get a new toy." He teased in a jovial tone. Kai didn't say it to be mean. He then turned to play a game of picked the ghost lollipop. He picked a prize marked one and choose a fun looking bracelet as his prize.
Micari blinked she didn't understand why everyone was so worried about the twins. She just didn't understand what the big fuss was as she picked up a thing of cotton candy. They hadn't hurt each other joining the family right?? So why did everyone suddenly seem to tense?? "Umm ok, but what's wrong Iah?? They haven't done anything bad have they??"
Natsumi laughed as she found yet another strange spooky item to show the kids, her mom was heading off to take over for the babysitter. Natsumi's family was getting so big and her little siblings were working towards their own lives. Which they all had the right to live and learn the hard way that one choice could affect a lot over the years. Yea Natsumi noticed that Altair was the stronger of the two twins, but she refused to believe her baby brother was bad. She would love all her siblings no matter what they did. Natsumi collected another plushie, she considered giving it to one of her siblings, but felt like she needed a lot more to be fair.
Perigor shrugged. "Museums sound okay," he said. "I didn't know there were that many nearby." He waited while his friends rang the doorbell and held out his bucket. "Trick or treat!" His prize was a stuffed animal. Very nice!
Ustule's prize was a cute stuffed bat and a candy apple. "I theenk the point ees more to find something to do together so thet we cen spend more time together. Es friends."
Zalir nodded. "The beanbag toss sounds n-nice." They made there way over there and waited in line until it was their turn. They had three tries to get a prize. Zalir only managed to get a bag in on zeir second try. Zey got a bag of chocolate skulls as a prize.
Chries was luckier than his friend. He got two of his bags into the slots, which earned him a stuffed rabbit and a bracelet that he added to the other two on his wrist.
Deni tried the door again. It shrieked once more, but this time, no candy came out. When the shriek died down, he walked into the room and began to explore it. There was a pile of treats, sure, but there were also strings and limbs hung out on the wall. Puppets...everywhere... he picked up a small marionette laid out as a prize. "This is gonna be a weird haunted house," he said.
Vederat was blissfully unaware of his friends' growing impatience with his boundless energy. "Let's do another block," he said as they rounded a corner. The last house had given him a bracelet, which was pretty, but he wanted more.
Aurabelle hesitated. The last house had given them a pink lightish red cat plush. They guessed they could do another block. "Maybe," they said. "It's sort of getting a little late, y'know."
Sound Lee's prize, too, had been a bracelet. "Yeah, Aura's right. It's a little late."
Melisara looked around the puppet room. Ick. She went over to the tray of prizes and picked up a pumpkin bracelet. "This has gotta be the weirdest room there, though, rahght?"
Histeol nodded. "Losing Prometheus for a few months was scary. At least for me," he added. "I know I didn't lose either of you two, but I think that just makes me want to hang out with you two all the more." He gave his stuffed skeleton a squeeze. He tended not to collect very many plushies--he could hardly tell the difference between most of them, so he only liked to have one plushie of each shape.
Okay, so Cal hadn't done so well on the last obstacle race. "One more time?" she said. "Before we go home for popcorn and a spoooooky movie or two?" She stretched again, then set off alongside Eidil. She reached the end of the course just before her girlfriend did, which earned her a stuffed spider. Score!
Niol looked around the room and nodded. "Yeah. Weird place." He looked at the note under the tricks and treat. "'What does not belong here?' Hm...."
"Only if it's a silly spooooky movie so that we can mock and tease it," Eidil laughed. She set off down the course, but finished after Cal did. Her prize was a bag of caramel eyeballs. "Come on, I'm thinkin' something in black and white."
Frit saw the commotion. There was some sort of thing afoot! The little girl scurried after the other freshlings, doing her best to overhear the other children's conversations. Sure, the imp could just ask one of the other children, but where was the fun in that? No Frit wanted to obtain this information on her own, in her own way. So the imp walked with the crowd, her ears wiggling as she picked up what others were saying. Something about free candy? Something about costumes? It all seemed pretty good to the girl, and she was eagerly joining the commotion.
Muridae: 11 Trick!
Muridae was really nervous looking around the festival, she had been working for a little bit now, and here was this big event. Muridae wasn't used to this sort of life at all, so she stayed off to the shadows watching everyone for a little bit before walking over to any of the booths to look at anything. Muridae picked up the shiny locket and felt the sadness coming off the object in waves. She shivered and then looked for something else to do, to try and was away the feeling. She put the locket in her pocket and moved on. Muridae found another game to play, one that made her feel more comfortable a dart game. A game of sport. Muridae lined up her shot and threw the dart sticking it in the board.
Stachys: 11 Trick!
Stachys didn't really understand the holiday. He wandered around, looking at all the candies and treats, but wasn't sure what to make of any of this. Someone came and offered them a bucket and a lantern. Stachys looked at the bucket, then up to the person who had given it to them. The stranger tried to shoo Stachys away so they could go gather candy, but all the freshling did was hold up the bucket. "Oh fine! Have a treat. No run along and get lots more candies." More candy? For free? Well, this could be ok.
Eudica: 6 Treat! Plushie!
Eudica was really happy, she wasn't in town the last time there was a treat or treating festival. So this was the first she was the first one she was able to experience since she was a little freshling. She was thrilled she kinda wanted to grab a trick or treating bucket and go trick or treating, but she felt that would be a little silly. So instead she grabbed a trick or treating bucket just for the fun of it to carry around the different booths with her since she really didn't need a lantern tonight. She picked out a cute orange bucket then she went to go look and see what games there were to play. Eudica a picked a simple lollipop game and she picked one with a black bottom. She was given a strange trick item some sort of bone skull neat. Eudica smiled and put it in her bucket. She went over to a catch the bat game, there were toy bats fluttering up by a fan and she took a net and caught one. She picked out an adorable plushie as her prize.
Abrus: 5 Trick! Pet!
When Abrus arrived he spent some time listening to the happy screaming freshlings, watching how the caretakers took such amazing care of the freshlings. Abrus watched, how they worked, he was really amazed how they were able to keep track of so many freshlings running around trick or treating. After a little while, Abrus turned and headed to explore the booths of the festival. He picked up a lantern and started looking around the booths to see what there was to do at this event. Abrus frowned as he picked from a grab bag and picked up a strange glowy stone it was really pretty, but it felt so sad.. maybe if he kept it in a box or a glass case it would be ok.
Hiroshi was new to the Below. He wasn't entirely sure what this whole event was going to entail since it was different than how they celebrated in the village. When he got there he was pleasantly surprised by all the pretty decorations. He was slightly distracted when a bucket was shoved in his hands that already held a piece of candy and a plushie.
Aramina was happy to be able to go to the festival this year. Last year she had been too busy to go, but she had promised herself she would this year. She was dressed up in a Spider Mistress costume, accenting her already spider-like mutations. She grabbed a bucket, happy when she saw that it held a pretty spider plushie!
